In my reference to Skippys jumping ship and selling shares, I wanted to clarify one thing. I do believe that Skip is more than capable of producing a good extreme sports show. I think he can probably ride a jet ski with the best of them. I think he left the show becaus Lee and Pat told him that, because of money shortages, they were going to use go-carts. when he found out, he probably laughed and said "That will go over great with the 10-year-old crowd." It all went to hell in a handbasket from there. IMO
My thoughts are that Skippy probably slipped his shares in the downfall, and made a buck or two to help the soon-to-be-defunct iclipx. Probably won't see much more, if any, posting from "waverunner". If people want video, they post it on youtube, googlevideo, myspace, or one of the other popular sites. I am sure Skippy - oops, I mean waverunner will come back with the "iclipx is different, it is for professional filmers, a "social network" for professionals, if you will." Whatever. Why is it that YouTube makes national news about once a week? It is THE place to post clips, with an "s". Oh well, I hope he made a dollar or two, because RRGI surely didn't.
1.27 Million shares traded by noon, current price sitting at .006. Wow, someone is unloading the boat...
Really, no punchline, it was just a thought.
Just a RANDOM thought. Maybe the schaeffers are dumping to get the money to pay Del? Maybe?
Where is FATDOG today? Anyone? It sure is quiet. My instinct tells me that something is awry with RRGI.
Sounds like Hollywood Rhetoric to me...
Bonded1, thank you for your post. Your observance is right on target.
IMO, Gerlac, the proof will provide itself as it has in the past...
If you missed the news this morning:
Reality Racing, Inc., Addresses Television Scheduling PR Newswire "US Press Releases "
BOCA RATON, Fla., July 30 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Reality Racing, Inc. , (OTC Pink Sheets: RRGI) announced today that less than anticipated advertising revenues coupled with a high per-episode fee payable to SpikeTV has resulted in a cash flow situation that made post-edit of the most recent episodes of Reality Racing - The Rookie Challenge impossible. Reality Racing aired two repeat episodes (which as it turns out many viewers had not seen) but was unable to meet the financial obligation to SPIKE for airing this past Saturday.
Reality Racing is in active negotiations with a group that when completed, will enable the show's producer to complete the post-edit of the footage already taped and the remainder of the 1st Season of the show. Reality Racing is confident they will be able to obtain the additional funding and meet obligations to viewers, shareholders and the network.

Looks like the layers are beginning to peel away on this one...things are not looking good in rah rah Reality Racing land.
Dang! Nice tape painting yesterday. Looks like we could see the ask, or maybe below? Look out for #1 today as we could see it for the first time! Reminds me of a song I heard once:
"Like a virgin, touched for the very .01st time..."
Anyway, good luck to the longs on this one...
I will not divulge that information until said non-disclosure agreements are dissolved.
Scotch,
Thanks for finding that, gave me a reason to go back "looking into the past" so-to-speak. Lo and behold, looky what I found!

I could not suggest to anyone when to get in or out of a stock.
I am in a stock that went to $10.00, and then down to 20 cents (I bought in at $1.50). For years I read posts from investors bemoaning the fact they should have sold at $10.00. They were greedy. My view is if I can double or triple my investment on a penny stock, I am out. I am in this at 8.5 cents and will be out at 20 - 25 cents. My view, as stated peviously, is that if this takes off, is picked up by a major network, attracts major sponsors, and gets Nascar's blessing - and there are no more shares issued - it could easily go to $1.00 - but that is a long time away from happening. All this is my opinion. Best of luck to you and all investors. Scotch
In for the long haul eh?, say about 20-25 cents? Hrrrmmmmph.
I wish I could have posted it like that. GREAT POST Flatsixer!!!! Explains a lot. Looks to me like a lot of "pawns" got left "holding the bag" so to speak. I know if I were one of those PAWNS, I would be really pissed and doing everything I could to get the price back up to a level I could sell. Heck, I might even go so far as to WEAR BLINDERS and BELIEVE that this company is really doing all it can to make a great show, rather than simply following through at as little expense as possible to say "We tried, and it just didn't work out". Anything positive to move that price in a positive direction so I could sell it all and even take a MINOR loss. I would suspect some of those shareholders are $50-100K in the negative...lots of reason for taking sides these days...
Are you saying a lawsuit with multiple plaintiffs is being considered? Maybe "in the works"? hmmm...no one ever said anything about to WHOM the lawsuit was "directed". :)
Anyone looked at post counts by RRGI users? I think it would be a good idea to see just how much time some posters are a'postin', then use that info to decide who may or may not have an agenda...
...some people just talk/type because they like to hear/read themselves...even when nothing needs to be said...
Alcab, how about you provide some proof that you have not sold your shares...
Can you now enlighten us as to what happend or are we once again left to speculation and theory? Are we going to see another re-run this weekend? Are we going to get to see episodes 8 and 9? What about the final shows? What about the Desert-themed spinoff?
Sadly, you are probably 100% correct in your post.
My thoughts EXACTLY!
I see posts from you on this board almost 24/7 and you are always trying to refute any valuable information that may have a bearing on what this RRGI debacle is all about. I for one really appreciate the time and effort put in by Flat, and I also firmly believe that the information is TOTALLY RELAVENT. If a business person wants you to invest in their business, yet they have some skeletons in the closet, wouldn't you want to know about them? I am sure most any investor would want to know if a certain member of a certain board of directors had a previous company/idea that TANKED. Even moreso if it followed a pattern that their current "idea" is following. It would behoove me to know this information prior to investing....what's that called again?....DUE DILIGENCE
These guys, including Mr. Del Weston (Did you notice the last line of that PR?) have made a mockery of what racing is about, and the show was never about racing, it was all about them and their money-making scheme.
Flatsixer, thank you for your research and please keep up the good work!
Thanks for the PM, Gerlac! I knew someone would come through!
Mr. Bible man, I got a feeling I know which contestant you are! Congratulations and welcome! What is your take on the fact that RR is not keeping in touch with you and why would they not return emails or calls? Has it always been this way? What do you think about the way that Kathy Itchycow behaves and treats you? What do you think abou them (rrgi) and their operation in general? It would be nice to hear from the "other side"
Modified Version - Not to be too blunt here, but the only winning combination are the longs shoveling their dollars on top of the burning pile of poo that is reality racing.
What song was it that said "pissing the night away", someone help me here, I am sure someone knows who sang it...
Del is the bad guy, ha! That is a good one. Anyone call him today? I tried and no one answered. He also gets email at efcfilmco@aol.com and he gets it if you send it to the info link on rr's site...or at least he used to get it, they may have cut him off.
seems like management would either announce the run of the missing episodes or at least a new production company.
based on flats post about patty-cakes, seems as if he has a little experience in the ol' pinky game. something tells me he was hunting for someone to screw up so he could whip out a lawsuit.
"Super Stock Hi Performance Division for Adults"
Exactly, not in the mini-cups, but in a high performance, bigger vehicle, typically 3/4 scale wtih 3-5 times the power and ability of the mini-cup.
80mph is movin' on the water. I've been that fast in a Cig. boat before, and it felt like 150mph on pavement.
HA HA That is funny. Advertise on the website. How about UPDATE the website for once, then worry about advertising on it.
I really hate to crash your wave-runner, but your sea doo scooter is closer to a race car than these mini-cup cars. I have been to a track in North Carolina that rents the exact same mini-cup cars by the hour and by the race. I spent 30 minutes in the cart and asked for a refund.
Granted, they do have all of the suspension settings mentioned, with adjustable shocks and coilovers, etc. The engine is slower than a rotax and literally takes a full lap and a half to get up to speed.
The cars were designed PRIMARILY for CHILDREN looking to grow in the experience of driving a NASCAR-STYLE CAR. The emphasis was on safety and cost, not speed.
You of all people should know that race cars = little/no concern for cost + more concern for safetey + most concern and money for SPEED.
These Go Karts are not race cars, they are trainers for kids. A supercup car is a different animal all together and would have made a better fit for the ADULTS (not 14 year olds) on this show, but guess what, they cost more money.
They are there because the expense was too high for a fleet of real race cars, and the show just couldn't afford it, plain and simple. They promised it in the initial PR's and show description, they just couldn't deliver.
MINI-CUP CARS ARE GLORIFIED GO-KARTS
END OF DISCUSSION.
For someone so close to this stock, you sure don't dig too deep. "Mike Mingucci" AKA "GOOCH" on Myspace (One of the top "friends" of Reality Racing's page)is one of the crew members filming the show. He gets paid to do it, so why would he even think about saying something bad about the show.
There is your DD lesson for the day.
Alcab11, you have been in this mess longer than most. You have lost more than most, and you are still sadly on the receiving end of this punishment. I am not sure what you did to deserve it, but I do have sympathy for you and yours. You are deserving of much better than what RRGI is giving you, and eventually it will get the best of you. I have nothing against you, but sadly the Schaeffers have you tied up in this debacle.
I never stated that I started the Class Action, nor did I state to be a part of it. It is something that a reliable source shared with me and I just wanted you all to be aware, that is all. I have much better things to do with my time, and that is why I do not post as much.
In fact, I wish no ills upon you, FATDOG, or any of the other longs, I just hope the "reality" surfaces and you get out of what your have become enslaved to. GLTA!
Scotch,
"Of course management could recruit new investors for a new show. These new shows that many are speculating about will have nothing to do with Reality Racing."
In fact, it has EVERYTHING to do with Reality Racing because RR is an example of exactly what these people are capable of doing, and obviously, it is not much.
Added a little more "fact" to your post:
"This is not speculation, this is fact...
They did film and produce the show as they said they would.
(at sub-par quality in a feeble effort to say "we did it!")
They attracted sponsors.
(Well, at least 2, Old Spice and Bestline (Who are they and what do they make again?)
The show aired on national network television.
(At an 9am Eastern/8am Central time slot, fully paid in a spot where paid advertisements would normally fit.)
They worked hard to edit and improve every successive episode.
(based on input from stock owners and viewers, not professionals. Now they "say" they have Professionals Bobby and Donnie Allison, Cale Yarborough, Junior Johnson, Glen Allen Jr. Now why did they not ask their opinion on the challenges or get suggestions from them? MAYBE BECAUSE THEY WALKED AWAY AND WANT NO PART OF THIS CRAP SHOW!)
They listened to shareholders' concerns about the program and the company.
(So that the shareholders would buy MORE STOCK!)
They responded to those concerns and made changes, and hired an IR firm.
(That has done NOTHING for a month now. Show some proof besides "I Talked to DM" or "DM Says" and I will retract that statement. Looks like the stock has done favorably since the new IR guy was hired, eh?)
They have pursued financing arrangements to continue their endeavors.
(Because noone else is buying this plot anymore.)
They are considering other projects to produce more revenue.
(you mean "spend revenue generated by the sale of worthless shares". Do you really think they could get another show going with something this aweful as the "example" of what is possible? Get ready to lose even more money if you buy into that idea.)
Gerlac, how do you KNOW that it is insider information if you did not already know it yourself?
I think it has past the point of "interesting" and has now reached ludacrous.
I have also learned of a class-action suit that is in the works, and guess what? It is not being brought by the shareholders, if that is any indication!
A. I always smile
B. I have never been less tense. Step away from this board for a week or two and you will see what I mean.
C. Not only is Kathy Itchkow on this board, but so also is Lee himself. Lee has not posted much, but Kathy's mouth will not stop, and I don't think it could be made to. I have confirmed proof of this and the required evidence has been handed over to the proper authorities for them to deal with.
So like you say "We shall see who's right in the end..."
You are correct, sir.
So now, instead of being a regional joke, Reality Racing is a NATIONAL joke.
I would imagine that if any investor saw one episode of Reality Racing, they would laugh and say you want MY money for THIS CRAP!?! You have got to be kidding me.
Go RRGI LONGS, Hang in there so the Schaeffers can continue to convince you to give up your cash...
Shark, the question is a simple one. If you knew about this, then keeping quiet is a good thing. If you did not know about this, then saying "I had no idea this was going to happen" is not illegal inside information.
By your comments it can be determined with relative certainty that this was a planned event. The question now is "why"?
The "Advertisement" is the show itself. It is an infomercial about a "concept" called Reality Racing. Now they need a buyer.
So I would guess that is how "Bingo", "Are you smarter than a 5th grader", "Don't forget the lyrics", and all those others got on a PRIME TIME, TEIR 1 Network Slot, eh? Guess they already had a fan base and they were publicly traded on a penny stock board?
It doesn't take a fifth grader to figure that one out...
" I know for a fact that Episodes 8 and 9 were taped, and there was plenty of time to edit.. "
Would you please back your statement up by providing substantiating evidence?
"...but RRGI is a proven show becuase it is on the air."
Wrong. It is a PAID spot that anyone with enough cash could get if they wanted. No "proven concept", just a paid advertisement.
Shark, as much as you seem to know, offering up an explanation to the rerun would be good or at least stating whether or not it was "planned" that way. Could you at least say if you know why it happened or not? No need to be specific as I would really not want you to get in trouble.
Was this planned or not?
It is interesting to read the theories and suggestions today about this MAJOR screw up. This is not Spikes fault, this is paid programming and they only air what the people paying for the slot send them, in the order they send it to them. Let's recap:
36 contestants = 9 shows
We have made it to seven (7) and now #8 is a rerun. There are two shows remaining before the finalists and wildcards are chosen, and RRGI is up to something, but who knows what it is. I do not see the final shows taking place, and if they do, it will only be the last episode or possibly the last two. RRGI is buying more time to reduce their own expense to maximize the management's pockets. This show was never designed to find a real driver, contrary to what was printed and hyped, and never executed around the original description. Once they saw that they were not getting the profits they wanted from day one, it has been a constant "smash-n-grab" for as much profit as could be maintained throughout the alloted timespan with minimal expense. It is all downhill from here.
WHAT A BAD, BAD, MOVE.
