Actually, I think we are their customer.

Pretty sure if capstone owned them it would be in the Q filings
To me it looks like they mfg for capstone, since we know capstone doesn't manufacture their own products why is this a suprise. Although, I always leave the door open that their could be more, I will do a little DD over the weekend.
U thanks, I thought that's what you were refering to but I didn't want to "assume". That is exactly what happened on the run to .22 when generators were the main product. That being siad I agree you want to see this stock run on it's own merit. That's the only way the share price holds, otherwise it's pump and dump all over again. Hopefully for you and all other longs it's a REAL sustainable run. I have to say I am disappointed you were the only one to post in response to my questions but hanks for your response.
Thanks U, can you please explain what you mean by "an orchestrated run"? I think I know but am not certain what you mean.
Okay, you guys know I have been hammering this stock on a weekly or bi weekly basis for a while, and in my opinion with good merit. However, at one time I held a very large long position and beleived in the growth potential of this stock. I maintained that position, subject to flipping the stock to my benefit for almost two years. So...... while you all know my position, I am going to try and do something positive for a change for the board! Please tell me why you belive this company is any of the following:
1) A good long term investment and why? Please discuss outstanding shares verse potential revenue if possible
2) A growth stock and why? What would lead to exponetial growth of this company and can it be done with just lighting or would they have to introduce other viable lines and why?
3) Under valued and why? Please try and illustate examples of similar priced stocks with similar outstanding shares and revenues and their current valuation.
4) A potential for a flip trade in/out on volume and why you expect volume (Lucy i think this is right up your alley)
I am being totally serious and transparent and I know I have hammered this stock to no end but I promise and give you my word I won't hammer your responses. I just want to know why you all continue to hold and what makes you all tick.In my early trading days one of the first stocks I owned (XYBR) moved almost 700% from where I bought it and I never sold and rode it back down to amost even. It cost me over $100,000 in potential gains. At the time I didn't know any better and thought I was going to retire at an early age. That was when the internet was young ang booming and you could throw a dart at a board and pick a 200% gainer in the market. I only wish I had known then what I know now!I firmly believe the only way you become a good and profitable trader is through experince, so perhaps if we share our experiences and opinions we can all benifit. Your resonses would be greatly appreciated and met with nothing but positive or non responses from me. I know the distain most of the board has for me and I know it is well deserved based on my barage of negative posts. However, I stand by my position on this stock. That being said, NO ONE IS EVER TO OLD TO LEARN and we can all become better traders in the stock market be it penny stocks or big board stocks if we share information,. Another words if you know what makes people tick, you can better judge how a stock will react to any given information. This can be a learning experince for all of us. Please I welcome all your responses as to why you like this or any other stock, have at it.....
Where are the CHDO buyers, 99.9 percent have left for greener pastures, you guy and girls crack me up!
Your taunting sellers? Too funny.... Better question would be where are the buyers? One hundred sixty eight thousand shares traded and the stock is even. By the way this company is not a "start up" its a "long line of failed business ventures". If you don't beleive me look in the 10Q's when they speak about securing funding/line of credit ect. The explain their business the exact same way which is why they have to use a factoring agent. At times they have to pay someone to fund their business. Only insolvent or nearly insolvent business with horrible credit ratings have to do that. Business 101
I want to commend you on an accurate, honest post. Very refreshing to see on this board!
You have to look at the future because the past is horrible! Good luck but for me they gotta show it in the numbers! The pr machine has been chugging along at a fast pace for the last few months so to me 1st Q tells the story, it better be the biggest in company history or management will lose the tiny tiny shred of credibility they still have.
Results were not good. Not even 6 million for the year? And where is the conference call? Coming in March? This company is still woefully under performing and still dangling carrots to the share holders which they happily chow down on. I find it hard to beleive any long term shareholder was REALLY happy with the 4Q and year end results. Same old same old, once again the volume tells you all you need to know. Zip, zilch, nada! Hurry up and wait, 2008 is our year, uhm I mean 2009 or eh 2010 humm maybe 2011, please.....
Thanks for your reply and you are certainly entitlrd to your opinion.
Not directed to anyone in particular but rather all who are commenting on trading today or any day like today. As I stated I wish all of you the best, that being said to try and garner anything from a day where less than two thousand, yes two thousand dollars worth of stock traded is just crazy. Up 15% down 15% its all meaningless until there is real volume with real conviction! Two thousand dollars worth of stock traded, MM's moving up .0013 for a hundred thousand shares which is what, an astounding $130 or is my math bad. Come on guys!
Honestly I am not. Have moved on to more of a big board focus. However, I do wish everyone on the board luck!
Its pretty clear he means 1Q
"This 1st quarter is shaping up to be our best one to date," said Reid Goldstein, President"
That being said, if true, it still bodes well for you shareholders. I will admit there have been a lot of product placements of late which will help the overall number. You will need a good Q to get through that wall at .0095 because with the bid consistently at .008 its gonna be tough. A good Q number will blow you into the .01-.015 range in my opinion. Good luck
Pork man I love you! Not in the physical way but you know in the posting sense, lol. Good luck buddy!
Great idea Lucy, hmmmm.... I seem to have heard that somewhere else. Oh, thats rightI posted it before you.........
Who do you trade with? If you use ameritrade and had a standing open order it would fill in pieces over a number of days and you would only pay the one time trade fee. If your executing small orders of 3 or 4 thousand shares and paying for them every time thats just crazy. If people are executing trades like this it would also explain part of the "mystery trader" who buys or sells small lots of stock. Although I know some on here want to beleive this stock is being manipulated, LOL! Porky, you are my all time favorite poster on here, sorry to see you go, but you won't regret it.
U I was gonna respond but remembered your are in deep with this stock so I understand you being protective, good luck and I will try not to comment again until the Q numbers come out.
Uhm what in that is false? Those are opinions I expressed. You would need to wait until at least June 11th 2011 to see if they are still in business. Until then everything I said in that post is my opinion. I stand by my comment that this company and managment are a POS. Are you disputing what kind of salary management is pulling. In my opinion they are stealing shareholder money and have squandered a lot of it on failed initiatives. Feel free to try again....
A little education, LOL! I forgot more about watching level 2 and how stocks react than you most likely know. Most MM's just flash up or down to signal to the others what they are doing and need. In the case of this stock they may actually make a small trade to get the point across. MM's signal their need to aquire or dump shares all the time to one another. If thats the messing around your talking about, wake up its done all the time. Back to my original point, real numbers equal real volume, until then its hurry up and wait cause no ones buying. Now there are 5 mm's mounting a stand at .095 so you guys can't get to penny land. Oh the humanity!!!!!!! What a joke! Bye bye for a while, see you in a few weeks Lucy and crew!
U come on now there is no one messing with you! There is no intrest in buying the stock, if there was it would move and its not. There are no MM's lining up to make a stand, I laughed really hard at that one. You guys just don't get it. All this talk of the "mysterious seller" "people messing with you" and the like is really foolish. Its supply and demand, right now there is a lot of supply and very little demand. Todays release on backlog was encouraging. The problem is no one beleives it. Remember the 4 million back log a few years ago that vanished when we were told some retailers cancelled or postponed orders? Come on, I am sure you do. So do most who follow this stock. Like I have been saying, show it in the Q numbers and the price will move. Until then, no shot! Statements like this from management while sounding good mean nothing:
"This year the Company is poised for a major turnaround in both income and revenue for the 1st Quarter of 2011 and positioned well for growth in the 2nd and 3rd quarters."
Why, because they use non conclusive terminalogy like "poised" and "positioned" instead of word like "will" and "are". They do this because by using such verbage they are protected by safe harbor language and if they don't do what they say they might they are not subject to share holder litagation. If and when they show results in a filing the share price will respond, Until then any small move is just a day trade thing. Good luck!
Marcel,
For your sake I hope your right because I know you and others have been around for a long time and I want to see the longs do well. I just don't and won't beleive it until I see it in actual Q numbers. Until then my opinion is its more smoke and mirrors from management. I am not saying they aren't selling product and I beleive the focus on the lighting line is a good approach. I just don't beleive that the sales numbers are anywhere near what people think they are. Further they really need to control their cost of sales as its way out of line. To many fat cats feeding at shareholders expense. Time will tell one way or the other.......Good Luck!
Not directed at you alone Marcell, with all due respect to Howard because we all know what he says is always UHMM cough cough spot on and totally reliable....The only way this stock moves is if and when Q numbers come out and show a large increase in revenue and a profit. Until then, NOBODY with the exception of a few of you longs on this board cares about orders with no dollar amounts attached, order backlogs that mysteriously never materalize or any other dribble this company spews. Want empirical evidence? How many shares did the stock trade yesterday on that HUGE PR with no facts attached? How many shares today? Today I beleive a big fat 0 as I type this. Fact is nobody beleives anything this company says, the PR's are meaningless at this point and they have misled or mis predicted with their guidance so many times NO ONE cares. All the wheeeees, postings of product for sale info or false claims of ANOTHER GREAT BUYING OPPURTUNITY pump won't change these facts. The company was and is a total underperformer and a terrible investment and until the numbers tell you diffently it will be. The major indexes have rallied well off their lows over the last few years, you can't blame the economy anymore because others have recovered. This stock on the other hand has continued a STEADY trend down as the share count has exploded. Unless you were fortunate enough to buy a few hundred thousand shares at the bottom and flip them around a whopping penny this has been nothing short of an investment diaster. Good luck but please....the rose colored glasses need to leave the building.
Tony,
Since you have been around a while I will give you info on the reverse merger. Buy the way in almost every instance this would not be a good thing for CHDO shareholders. Of course I would love for someone to illustrate how it could be a benifit, I am always willing to learn:
A reverse takeover or reverse merger (reverse IPO) is the acquisition of a public company by a private company to bypass the lengthy and complex process of going public. The transaction typically requires reorganization of capitalization of the acquiring company.
Process: In a reverse takeover, shareholders of the private company purchase control of the public shell company and then merge it with the private company. The publicly traded corporation is called a "shell" since all that exists of the original company is its organizational structure. The private company shareholders receive a substantial majority of the shares of the public company and control of its board of directors. The transaction can be accomplished within weeks. If the shell is an SEC-registered company, the private company does not go through an expensive and time-consuming review with state and federal regulators because this process was completed beforehand with the public company.
The transaction involves the private and shell company exchanging information on each other, negotiating the merger terms, and signing a share exchange agreement. At the closing, the shell company issues a substantial majority of its shares and board control to the shareholders of the private company. The private company's shareholders pay for the shell company by contributing their shares in the private company to the shell company that they now control. This share exchange and change of control completes the reverse takeover, transforming the formerly privately held company into a publicly held company.
Benefits:The advantages of public trading status include the possibility of commanding a higher price for a later offering of the company's securities. Going public through a reverse takeover allows a privately held company to become publicly held at a lesser cost, and with less stock dilution than through an initial public offering (IPO). While the process of going public and raising capital is combined in an IPO, in a reverse takeover, these two functions are separate. A company can go public without raising additional capital. Separating these two functions greatly simplifies the process.
In addition, a reverse takeover is less susceptible to market conditions. Conventional IPOs are risky for companies to undertake because the deal relies on market conditions, over which senior management has little control. If the market is off, the underwriter may pull the offering. The market also does not need to plunge wholesale. If a company in registration participates in an industry that's making unfavorable headlines, investors may shy away from the deal. In a reverse takeover, since the deal rests solely between those controlling the public and private companies, market conditions have little bearing on the situation.
The process for a conventional IPO can last for a year or more. When a company transitions from an entrepreneurial venture to a public company fit for outside ownership, how time is spent by strategic managers can be beneficial or detrimental. Time spent in meetings and drafting sessions related to an IPO can have a disastrous effect on the growth upon which the offering is predicated, and may even nullify it. In addition, during the many months it takes to put an IPO together, market conditions can deteriorate, making the completion of an IPO unfavorable. By contrast, a reverse takeover can be completed in as little as thirty days.
Drawbacks: Reverse takeovers always come with some history and some shareholders. Sometimes this history can be bad and manifest itself in the form of currently sloppy records, pending lawsuits and other unforeseen liabilities. Additionally, these shells may sometimes come with angry or deceitful shareholders who are anxious to "dump" their stock at the first chance they get.
One way the acquiring or surviving company can safeguard against the "dump" after the takeover is consummated, is by requiring a lockup on the shares owned by the group they are purchasing the public shell from. Other shareholders that have held stock as investors in the company being acquired pose no threat in a dump scenario because the number of shares they hold is not significant and, unfortunately for them, they are likely to have the number of shares they own reduced by a reverse stock split that is not an uncommon part of a reverse takeover.
Possibly the biggest caveat is that most CEO's are naive and inexperienced in the world of publicly traded companies unless they have past experience as an officer or director of a public company.
A major disadvantage of going public via a reverse merger is that such transactions only introduce liquidity to a previously private stock if there is bona fide public interest in the company.
Future financing: The greater number of financing options available to publicly held companies is a primary reason to undergo a reverse takeover. These financing options include:
The issuance of additional stock in a secondary offering
An exercise of warrants, where stockholders have the right to purchase additional shares in a company at predetermined prices. When many shareholders with warrants exercise their option to purchase additional shares, the company receives an infusion of capital.
Other investors are more likely to invest in a company via a private offering of stock when a mechanism to sell their stock is in place should the company be successful.
In addition, the now-publicly held company obtains the benefits of public trading of its securities:
Increased liquidity of company stock
Higher company valuation due to a higher share price
Greater access to capital markets
Ability to acquire other companies through stock transactions
Ability to use stock incentive plans to attract and retain employees
[edit] ExamplesIn all of these cases - except for US Airways and America West Airlines - shareholders of the acquiree controlled the resulting entity. With US Airways and America West Airlines, US Airways creditors (not shareholders) were left with control.
The corporate shell of REO Motor Car company, in what amounted to a reverse "hostile" takeover, was forced by dissident shareholders to acquire a small publicly traded company, Nuclear Consultants. Eventually this company became the modern-day Nucor.
ValuJet Airlines was acquired by AirWays Corp. to form AirTran Holdings, with the goal of shedding the tarnished reputation of the former.
Aérospatiale was acquired by Matra to form Aérospatiale-Matra, with the goal of taking the former, a state-owned company, public.
The game company Atari was acquired by JT Storage, as marriage of convenience.[1]
US Airways was acquired by America West Airlines, with the goal of removing the former from Chapter 11 bankruptcy.
The New York Stock Exchange was acquired by Archipelago Holdings to form NYSE Group, with the goal of taking the former, a mutual company, public.
ABC Radio was acquired by Citadel Broadcasting Corporation, with the goal of spinning the former off from its parent, Disney.
Frederick's of Hollywood parent FOH Holdings was acquired by apparel maker Movie Star in order to take the larger lingerie maker public.[2]
Eddie Stobart in a reverse takeover with Westbury Property Fund allowing transport by ship, road, rail or boat to and within the UK, using only one company.
Clearwire acquired Sprint's Xohm division, taking the former company's name and with Sprint holding a controlling stake, leaving the resulting company publicly traded.
Mysterious buyer back in action? LOL!
"That seller back in full operation today"
Your kidding right? 120,800 shares traded so far, if every one was sold at .0074 thats $893.92 total. Not even a thousand dollars total traded today and your claiming a mysterious seller is "back in full operation'? I know this is a rinky dink stock but you have to step back and look at what you post.
Ah the mysterious seller......personally I don't beleive that but your certainly entitled to your opinion and you are following the day to day action a lot more closely than I am, GLTU.
I agree it's foolish unless its part of a bigger trade execution. For instance, I use Ameritrade, if I entered a sell or buy order of 100,000 at say .01. It will execute partial fills untill the entire hundred thousand is sold or bought. Even if it takes more than one trading day. So, it's possible that the small trade you see was part of a larger open order. Or, someone's not to bright.....
Okay DD here is the problem in a nut shell and I have kept quiet and will again for a while after this post. They have been predicting 8-10 million in sales going back a few years ago and never come close. They have been "shooting" for profitability for years now (Duh, what else would you expect them to say) but never are. They consistently over promise and under deliver. When oh when will they actually surprise to the upside. It was a nice quarter, not a blow our quarter but a nice quarter. However when it's your biggest quarter it's not nearly big enough. They still bleed money, they have debt coming due and you and I both know when push comes to shove they won't wait for .03 cents to sell shares. I'm sorry but really nothing has changed. You were disappointed? Add it to the long list of 10Q's in which CHDO/CHDT disappointed. Look at the bid/ask and price action today. No one but no one REALLY believes in this company. There was no new blood today, less than 1 million shares traded off the 10Q and the stock closed down. Sorry but that’s the way I see it. Most probably don't believe me at this point but I really wish the longs well, I have been around this board for a long time. I just don't see it happening and with each Q it's less and less a possibility. Back under my rock for a while.....
A little clarification as I don't want to mislead anyone. When I siad the company was still losing money I should clarify I was not talking about this quarter, I was talking about the 9 months this year.
"Net Income (Loss): The Net Income for the three months ended September 30, 2010 and 2009 was approximately $130,176 and $1,135 respectively. Net Income increased $129,041 over the same quarter last year. The Loss for the nine months ended September 30, 2010 and 2009 was approximately $695,862 and $673,941 respectively. The improved net income performance in the third quarter 2010 has allowed us to reduce the net loss as of June 30th, 2010 from $(826,040) down to $(695,862)."
Also since order backlog now stands at a little over a million I have to assume 3/4 of the 4 million dollar order backlog shipped the past Q. Good luck longs.
Revenue was good....May get a little spike although there is currently a seller at .0096 and the bid is only .008 Still losing money which is not good. I will be interested to hear about the 4 Million dollar backlog and what happened to it. Why didn't all of it ship during what should be their largest Q. Maybe its spread out over many Q's. Should be interesting today. I will dig a little deeper and tell you what I think.
Let the spin begin
10Q
http://biz.yahoo.com/e/101115/chdo.ob10-q.html
"Q: In the last three and a half Qs the Company has posted two Qs as being profitable. The economy is improving, still a long ways to go but it's on the upswing. Can the Company produce a profitable 2011, and if so how do you plan on doing that?"
Shouldn't that be the "last three and a half years"? I don't even know if thats true but I know they have not been at all profitable the last three and a half quarters.
Also, you may want to ask them how they would possible fund an aquisition of another company when they have to resort to insider loans and factoring agents just to keep the company going.
You may also want to ask why they would partner with a company for infomercials who is teetering on the edge of bankrupcy.
Carry on and good luck with the Q results.
Hi Lucy,
Just stopping in to check things out. Earnings just around the corner. Many predicting a record quarter so I will step in with my guesstimate. 4 million plus backlog disappears as usual and total revenue under 2 million. For the sake of the longs I hope I am wrong but that my guess. Good luck longs, chow for now!
This is possible one of the funniest things I have ever read in my life:
"There are many undervalued companies with poor management that we have an opportunity to acquire if and when the time is right."
Forget about CHDO's own inept management, exactly what would CHDO use to aquire a company? They are bleeding money. They had to resort to a factoring agent because they can't get money through normal channels and now they can aquire another company. I have kept quiet for a long time because I said I would and I will go back under my rock but this stuff is just to funny to pass on! Good luck all.
Lucy, if your lacking posts I would certainly be willing to come back and give you my take. Yes, No? LOL!
Lucy,
I said I would post again when I saw something positive. So...finally a PR with numbers attached. 2 million is great and it's nice to see an actual number. GLTU and the longs!
U, after some thought....your right. I will continue to follow this stock but most likely won't post anything, unless I see something positive. I think your all crazy to still be wasting time with this company and their three stooges management. But hey its your money so good luck and I hope I am proven wrong. I know some of you have invested a lot of time and a lot of money. Later and out!
Oh and by the way, I am not rooting against anyone. I hope you all make money and if proven wrong I will freely admit it. But..as you gathered by now I think there is a snowballs chance in heck of that happening!
Aw shucks and I thought you followed my every move :) good luck with this one, gotta run, be back some time in the future!
