Well gee Santa, it seems you have a golden opportunity to convince all we wayward investors of our error via your good friend .... "the chair of her department at a leading tech univ & who holds a doctorate in program engineering & as a side consults some of the biggest tech co's in Silicon Valley". Whew, impressive.
Protecting her identity isn't an issue Santa. Just have her spell out, TECHNICALLY, the inadequacy of One Voices Tech, & simply e-mail it to yourself, then you could post it here anon for all to see & decide for ourselves.
Maybe we could forward to Deano for a rebuttal.
This is your chance to convince us all, Santa.
Or, as I believe, your friend is a phantom. Prove me wrong.
TIA
Since you consider the technology outdated I'm not sure why you would be concerned, but maybe a call to the company would help you out.
Just a thought.
You're welcome ia ....
One can have yahoo, hotmail, google, etc, etc, available on any internet enabled phone from any U.S. phone co. if not now, then soon. I know it's available via at&t.
And none of this has zilch to do with what ONEV offers. And seriously, if anyone doesn't understand this then why the "H" would one invest in it, then rag on veno to explain what every competitor or outright idiot posts.
"Yahoo e-mail available on a *%^#@& mobile phone is the last nail in the coffin for ONEV". ??????
Amazing.
.....
gl longs
.... I thought it was my bad manners that relegated me to one post a day. But if you are at one also, guess that ain't it.
Oh well, it's pretty much just a waiting game anyway.
Dare I say ..... patience ??????????
Yep, & thanks for passing along info.
.....
& hats off to anyone that lost someone while serving in the armed forces.
.....
a good long weekend to all excluding sbb.
.....
ONEV, onward & upward ..... hopefully .... & finally .....
I'm sure I'll be corrected if I'm wrong, but I don't think Deano said there would not ever be a R/S. As was discussed here months ago, a R/S would be a good thing GIVEN that ONEV was on the road to breakeven/profitability. NOW is not the time but perhaps by the time it is enacted the Indian, Mexican, Tracfone launches will have occured.
Reversing the O/S & not the authorized bites big time, but considering who is providing the funding, I can't say I'm surprised. They ARE making sure that they are going to get paid regardless. One way or the other.
ONEV MUST begin collecting a handsome paycheck; with a view of more to come & then cut the sharks head off.
Or as was discussed recently, sell.
Deano has + - 50 mil invested in ONEV. I believe ONEV's value is many multiples of that and is chump change to the big boys in this game.
We'll see how Deano plays it out.
Place your bets.
& no whining please ..........
gl
No question that 800 mil is more than a little hi at present. But "IF" the Mexicans, Tracphone, the Brits ? were to follow India, it wouldn't be much of a stretch.
ONEV at present suffers from "the boy that cried wolf" complex. Evidenced by the "ONEV Whine Club"s daily posts. And the pps. Understandable, I suppose. But whenever, whatever happens there will be no dilution factor. If you've been here awhile I'm sure you'll join us all in a rousing "Hallelujah".
When ONEV launches to MNTL,or anyone, there should be a relief rally burying that perception & the pps would begin to reflect the forward looking rev #s. "IF" a few of the above were to sign/launch, the pps could easily reach 20-30 cents, IMO. And it certainly is no stretch for the acquiring company to pay double the pps of the acquired.
Walla .... + - 60 cents per share.
If nothing else, I enjoy seeing the trashers & whiners squeal when anyone speculates to highly.
I'm so ashamed.
Anyway, gl to you.
And as always, I could be totally wrong & you could lose it all.
Place your bets.
But at the end of the day, regardless, please "NO WHINING". !!
Haven't a clue Sarge. Just enjoy using the term "shortly". We all know how projections on "when" & "how much" have gone in the past.
And there's no doubt that ONEV's value will go up monetarily & probably more important, psychologically, when MNTL launches & revs start coming in.
But to Deano's plan, only Deano knows.
Maybe MNTL launches, followed by Mexico, maybe a surprise or two, & he wants to market ONEV services & compete thataway since most of the $$ that comes in after MNTL would be gravy.
But I believe one or the other will occur soon since there are no more shares to unload & apparently no new investors. Deano said that the "new investors" may not happen.
And I agree, the Mexican silence is .... ?????
Basically, I'm just thinking out loud.
As SS reminded us (thank you), MSFT paid 800 mil for "Tellme". Now I have no idea what Tellme did beforehand or how MSFT is utilizing the tech. But IMHO, ONEV would be an instant boon for anyone wishing to compete with Googles mobile phone plans. MSFT has plans for a move into it. Look at the companies in it that must compete, Apple, Rimm, etc. And some of them have loads of cash with plans to spend it.
An 800 mil buyout of ONEV would be +60 cents a share.
I'm just speculating .... & killing time, I suppose.
Place your bets.
& gl
To follow up on your last sentence & re: Google article, it is my belief, speculation that it is, that Deano will accept an offer that he can't refuse .... shortly.
Given that ONEV doesn't have the resources to fend off the goliath competition & market itself as needed, combined with time running out for competitors of Google not to make a quick move .... = buy/sell at a premium. Whatever that would be. Several companies are sitting on tons of $$ & one in particular said it was going to be spending a lot of it in acquisitions with the market as it is.
I recall Deano making mention of "whatever" "vr" company ? that msft purchased & the price paid. Apparently not much has come of that that I've seen/heard. Yet ????
If a company sitting on $$$ to spend that's heavy into the computer side (+ gaming) & wanting to expand (as company stated) into the mobile phone side, acquiring ONEV would be the ticket.
Anyway, that's my 1 post & opinion for the day.
We'll see.
"Google Voice Speaks of World Domination" ....
Friday article in All Things Digital.
.........
Will that pesky Google derail ONEV / others plans.
Stay tuned.
& place your bets .....................
& have fun ...............
So this is it ??
Deano shut the phones off & fled the country with all my &@%@$
money ??
S.O.B.!!!!!!!
Yank, I really thought you would give me a heads up so I could sell this morning also. But I didn't log in today so it wouldn't have mattered anyway, I suppose.
I bet veno is preparing to "ron da vuu" with Deano in Mexico to get his cut of the scam.
Oh well, win a few, lose a few. Tomorrows another day ..............
Why do you drone on about Omehays #s when anyone with an elementary education in math can see they aren't ridiculous.
We know what ONEV is worth at present. What does that have to do with projected revenue?
Why doesn't "anyone" buy out ONEV? Probably because Deano won't sell.
Re; paragraph 2 ... You make no sense at all.
Not to speak for Omehay but I find the last two days of posts to Omehay insulting if not a personal attack. Your constant demeaning of posters, instead of posting any meaningful facts, speaks volumes of your true intentions here.
We're all waiting for results from your ONEV fact finding mission. Hows that going?
There is no lie whatsoever in Omahays post. Why must you always twist what is actually said ??
1) What he projected was just that, a projection. And just because Iris hasn't launched doesn't mean it's an abject failure.
2) sec filings report what has happened; past tense. Estimates are just that, estimates; future tense. Similar to your indiabulls estimates for MTNL. oops, that's right, wsj estimates.
3) No solid information or history ?? You're contradicting yourself. And he does have evidence given the $ #s per sub with the # of available subs. Thus his projections.
Speaking of an abject failure for 10 years, I'll leave that subject for another day.
Thanks for projections Omahay. Let's hope they hold.
OK, now let me see if I have this correct.
You pull up a stock analyst from IndiaBulls.com .... that advertises an opinion on Livemint.com, a "subsidary" of WSJ/India .... and you call this "an unbiased source of WSJ reporting", and a "respected firm".??
So if I find a stock analyst opinion from AmericanBulls.com on a subsidary site of Forbes, I could call this "an unbiased source of Forbes reporting"??
Oh, now I see how it works. Silly me.
But seriously, even though IndiaBulls has absolutely nothing to do with WSJ reporting (an oversite on your part, I'm sure), their analyst did state as fact that MTNL's wireline subs are falling (As Veno stated). HELLO, that's happening everywhere.
All else stated was prediction, speculation & opinion, prefaced by such ironclad statements as, "we do not expect", "we believe", "in our view", "is likely", "we expect", etc.
Boy, I bet MTNL keeps a close watch on this ones reporting.
Anyway, I'm standing by waiting for your next report from your fact finding missions on ONEV & partners.
Have you tried The Psychic Network yet.?
Just trying to help.
And as always, have a good one.
I wish ....
Obama .... & of course, Deano ....
the best going forward ..................
& Jindal .........
& above all, ME !!! ......................
Now that has to hurt.
A decade of trashing ONEV (I'm almost shocked that you admitted that)& yet it's on the cusp of breakeven, profitable even.
Or is it that you have a warm, fuzzy feeling knowing you gave it your best shot saving souls from financial ruination. All out of the goodness of your heart, as you profess.
Just thinking curiously. Respond only if you wish.
And as always, have a good one.
He probably can't ....
but if you spend your time disproving & correcting his every inaccuracy, fabrication & out-right unbelievable yarns, you'll not have time for the important things of life ... i.e. anything else.
have fun with him but don't exert alot of energy.
besides it only encourages him to ramble further.

He's just protecting himself & HIS business.

Ah, poor baby. Did you copy that post to administration to get me tossed. Again.
Sorry, but that was simply my take on what you postulated.
I seriously doubt that the Gov't of India, or Telmex for that matter, would enter into any type of agreement with ONEV for the purpose you stated. Ridiculous.
And I've played with you all I intend to .... for now.
As always, have a good one ........
So ONEV has orchestrated a worldwide conspiracy now, huh ??
I said "HOW ABOUT SOME DRAMA", not the fantasy ravings of a lunatic.
Try again.
I'm guessing Deano is in the middle of a mexican stand-off that may go beyond the launching of services to telmex. All involved is waiting for someone else to flinch. India gives ONEV another ace to play.
COME ON, let's add some drama to this story !!!!!!!!!!
Long day .... & I think veno answered the question, but
we all know onev is in a race. If sufficient revenue wasn't
expected "shortly" then the a/s would have been upped months ago. Will it happen ??
Place your bets.
No dilution is always good regardless of how many shares whoever may have to sell at market whenever they wish.
jm tired o
nite
When/If pps gets to that point, & all else is moving according to plan, then that would be the time for a r/s. imo
excellent. new ballgame now.
thanks for info ..
Imagine anyone taking your advise of not buying into ONEV or selling if they already had. My ONEV portfolio is greener'n goose poop with partial gains over 800%.
Gee, I'm kicking myself for not listening to your words of wisdom.
Howz that NUAN stock doin' ... ya know, the one thats a real company with a real CEO?
I'll poke you again when I attain a gain of 10,000% on my lowest buy.
You should try standup comedy & master what you are. A joke.
As always, have a good one ..........
Sarge:
Did you really think that one through before posting ??
Ships without a rudder tend to tread water aimlessly, in a circle, ultimately grounding out in the sand.
Just a matter of time.
Investing in ONEV:
Patience is a virtue ........ Humor is a must.!!
thx & gl ............
Not sure, but I'd bet that the O/S will show an increase tomorrow "assuming" what was traded today will be tabulated after hours. Just a guess.
Big jump from 79k to 8.5m in 24 hrs with 0 dilution. Of course it could be a # of things. I figured lo volume for remainder of month. We'll see if hi volume heading south continues.
So long story made short, I don't have a clue what's happening on a day to day basis.
Therefore, I think, everyone should just disregard this post.
But since I've already wasted my time posting it I'll leave it up.
And if you've actually read to this point .... my apologies.
But gl to you anyway ..........
& only 79k changed hands today.
getting interesting ........
interesting stuff.
maybe next year ......
I'm sitting on pins & needles awaiting santa's take on what has transpired & how it pertains to onev's demise .....
meanwhile, thanks rocky & veno for giving us the gist of the onev / irs court scandal.
I was too lazy & cheap to spring for the 8 cent per page to read it for myself. what was it 30-40 pages. ok, i owe you 2 a beer someday.
onward & upward ............
gl to us ......... shortly ..........
I found out last nite that I'm alloted only 3 posts per day so with this, my final one, I will say that was an excellent answer to questions post.
Way over my head, but you were convincing, so I'll go along with it.
.........
I wonder if deleted posts, since the majority of mine are, is counted against the 3 allowed ???????
:)
nite all ................
I should have left the "whiny" part out of my post but otherwise I stand with what I said and agree with what ihub posted.
We don't really know what is happening & if another fed investigation is underway, sec-wise, then I would not expect a public comment.
I suppose Deano could comment on the completed IRS case but is this really PR material?
If I were wanting an answer to what we do now know, I would either call or send an e-mail. And I'm sure numerous folks here have done just that. I'm simply content to wait on any company comments. The 7 million $ up in smoke is history now.
I'll let the fed's do their thing & let ONEV do theirs. And as I do each day, I'll weigh what I know & make the decision to buy, sell or hold; To make a call to ONEV or not. And then live by that decision until the next day.
And yep, I could be wrong.
I know you've been here longer than I, & are getting tired of the "shortlies".
Doubt if my saying to "hang in there" will help matters so I'll just say, as always, to all .........
good luck.
With all due respect, I couldn't disagree with you more per your final statement / paragraph. By this logic, it would be regulated that any company with x market cap & x shares issues should be allowed to gain in pps even if it's a obvious pos.
This subject was beat to death a few months ago & I'm not going to re-visit it except to reiterate that legitimate shorting of stocks is very necessary for the market.
Personally, I believe the regulation of no shorting of stocks under $5 should be amended if not abolished.
And the uptick rule should stay. If I can buy long on an uptick why can't I short sell on a downtick ??
Not being argumentative .... jmho.
gl to u
once again, excellent post / rebuttal.
I would be shocked & amazed if ONEV was'nt aware of these criminal proceedings. Impossible, imo.
And to suggest that Deano has a responsiblity to address whiny shareholders the day after a criminal court finality, are, as you stated, clearly mistaken.
But I do believe also that the shareholders should, & will, be addressed on the matter .... shortly.
Of course, I could be wrong.
nite again .........
and UGO, if I mis-read or didn't read what you were trying to convey, re: naked shorting, I would probably plead guilty.
gl to u
onward & upward to us all.
ok, now I'm retiring for the eve.
nite .............
it was never an issue as to whether there were naked shorts at the end of the month; the issue was as to whether what was being ftd was having a material impact on the pps during the time frame (past few months) that UGO was bringing it to our attention ... hourly, it seemed. By the #s it wasn't an issue, imo.
What Laban (thank you) brought to our attention was a whole other ballgame.
I agree with cee it that with electronic trading today it should be far easier to stamp this out than in the past. And it is being done. I believe I read that the sec is going to narrow the time frame of when ftd's must cover, which is a good start. With added enforcement to boot.
But again, what Laban uncovered is criminality at its best, or worse.
You can be sure that Deano was aware of this, but as it was a criminal proceeding, he would not have been able to comment. Period.
But now that that has been settled, it will be interesting to see what ONEV does, or doesn't do in a civil court. What assets, property, etc. do these clowns have that ONEV could recover. Worth the bother ???????
Maybe I didn't read deep enough, but the question I have at the forefront, out of pure curiosity, is the time frame that this was occuring. With criminal court just being completed, I would have to guess at least 1, maybe 2 years ago. Would be interesting to overlay when this was occuring with the pps movement during the same time frame.
Just a few thoughts / comments before I retire for the eve.
..........
Morley, I had to respond to you in that I thought you may have considered me a critic of ugo's posts on nekkid shorting, & now believed I had been mistaken.
Unbelievable .... after all the kind things I have said about Canada.
And yes, the DCF schtick still makes me laugh.
Good nite to you & all.
Thanks again Laban ...........
Sorry, but I have better things to do than attempt to enlighten you on the concept of past, present & future in regards to ONEV, or anything else for that matter.
I'm not sure how many times you've pointed out "paragraph 1" & how many more times it has been responded to.
Like I said, it's boring.
I'm not being paid to respond to, what I consider as, unwarranted, misguided & fallacious things you post daily, which would require time & a long post as well. Probably wouldn't do it if someone offered to pay. Borrringggg !!
I'll simply comment on occasion when I'm in the mood.
And I'm slipping out of the mood as we speak.
Have a good one.
Once again, ONEV ain't a failed company. If it had failed it wouldn't be trading stock.
Not only are your posts unwarranted & misguided, they're boring & full of 1/2 truths, if any at all.
But have a good day anyway. You're certainly entitled to your opinion.
