last post on Costco, promise...
One more thing that separates Costco from the rest is their "road shows".
Just thought SLS would be able to show off samples of their product line.
I have visited Costco @ Orange County, Seattle, Kirkland, Issaquah & 3 of the 4 in Hawaii.
I always spend a lot of time in the electronics dept. and question them on their latest cameras, TVs, computers, accessories, gizmos, etc. and am always pleased with the knowledge of the salesreps. Again, less selection to choose from.
Not a pumper, just my experience.
My experiences have been hit or miss with Best Buy & Circuit City. They do carry a lot to keep track of.
what about Costco?
less products to choose from.
salesreps knowledgeble on the products they sell.
Do not practice exclusive holds on product line.
(JG can still venture into other retail alternatives simultaneously)
Decent display areas.
Roadshows encouraged.
high volume traffic.
great timing for your message...I think you belong over on yahoo message board, the bashers are having a celebration.
Wouldn't want you to miss out on the zit poppin fun.
Oh...you are from yahoo...just using another ID?
Well then, since you are here...would you care to eloborate on your comment about the "Q Gold" and your BBY experience?
Was the system hooked up properly?
Were all the speakers active?
Was the woofer active or damaged?
Was BBY demonstrating digital sound or FM radio signal.
Was any of the pr display material set up?
Was the Salesrep knowledgeble or did he have his head up his butt??
Answer those questions & Goldie might let you hold the SLS Awareness Torch.
BTW...Q Gold sounds incredible for its price...when it's set up properly! imo
thanks for sharing, Long
My emails to JG go unanswered or returned undeliverable.
I too am very concerned with the "clam shell" strategy SLS has retreated to.
As you and others have so well stated...serious questions are mounting that need to be addressed.
Truthful specific forward guidance is long overdue.
I'm tired of watching "OTC"s perform like this one should...$2.50 & climbing...while SLS continues to decline like a submerging "Pink".
I cannot answer your question, but this is what I found so far:
Go to AMEX.com
click on "equities" in the left column.
click on "listing Process"
click on "listing standards"
you will find the criteria for 4 quantative standards...one of which they must meet to satisfy listing on the AMEX.
Within the first paragraph above the chart click on "AMEX Company Guide" highlighted in blue.
There you will find headings for all the rules, standards and requirements in detail for US companys to apply & maintain their standing on the AMEX.
click on heading "Suspension & Delisting" (part 10)
There you will find a lengthy explication...of course while you filter through all of that information take note on
catch phrases like, "...or if failed to comply with its listing agreements"(2002d) or "any other event..."(2002e).
as for price...??? SLS was already trading under the $2.00 AMEX listing requirement on their AMEX debut 10/13/05.
I have not yet found a minimum price to maintain...but a few items they could already start to question SLS concerning falling value & proficiency of management. Hope it does not come to that.
I too would like to know if there is a "minimum price/time frame" to maintain an AMEX listing.
I will email the question to sls & AMEX...hope someone here may know the answer?
Dart...chart not looking to good right now...esp. MACD & price channel.
help...capitulation is upon us...
Wize,
How much longer is JG going to hold all that good news to himself ?
Would be nice if he would loosen his death grip right about now.
Please.
from yahoo...sorry to see anyone lose.

thanks for your post.
wize...hope your dd found something better than what was so timely released the last couple of days...again.
amen.
...LOL ! thanks i neeeded that !
...sure would like to hear company's response to these allegations.
"D" & "G" are sueing "SLS" because "DGM" is manufacturing headphones instead of "SLS"...does not make "SENSE" ??
...breech of "oral" contract ??
...sounds like crybaby consolation payoff...but non the less unwelcomed publicity & delays for headphones and "SLS" ?...is "SLS"/"DGM"/__M missing the Christmas shoppers launch ? ...maybe that's what the management meetings were all about this week??...would have been better to get the drift from "SLS" instead of outside source ??...no wonder Cub kept waiting "official" confirmation from SLS on the whole "DGM" thing.
still buying...and cinching my seatbelt.
I'll drrrrink ttto thaaaat.
thanks G.
you're welcome...hope we all do well.
timing ?
I followed Endovasc since year 2000 because of its association with a company I was investing in called Trimedyne (TMED).
Endovasc which was (ENDV) at the time, announced they had developed a compound that was "growing" blood vessels...supported by a study @ Stanford.
The stock soared from $.25 to a high $15.00 overnight creating visions of a possible alternative to open heart surgery.
A few days later a follow up report stated the compound was derived from a nicotine base and the stock quickly worked its way back down to $2.00 and eventually down to a $.o5 on fears it was all a scam orchestrated by the tobacco industry attempting improve their image.
So many investors got hurt buying (ENDV) it was restricted from online trading @ TD Waterhouse and trades could only be placed thru a broker. The restriction has since been lifted because of the price stablizing @ a nickle for years now.
Whatever became of that mysterious compound ?
Whatever happen to their association with Trimedyne?
I bought 100,000 shares at the $.05 price level in hopes that they would eventually taste success bringing at least one of their products to market.
Endovasc then got their finances entangled in a debt/death spiral by engaging themselves with offshore investors (which was quite a common mistake small start up companies made during that era) which it has never been able to recover from since. Their stock became extremely diluted in the spiral.
Endovasc then attempted to fix their financial predicament by approving a 1:40 reverse split to $2.00 and hopefully attract new, larger investors. The end result is what you see today...pps back to $.05 !!
I am not bashing this stock...just stating their history.
I have owned this stock for years now and still hope Endovasc will "make it" one day. I repurchased shares @ .o3/.04 and will break even @ about .15 to cover past purchases.
As for the poster who asked why do they have has 2 stock symb.?
When Endovasc restructured to become (EVSC) they formed a subsidiary for their "Nutraceutical" supplements (EVSD).
100's coming out of the woodworks again.
ditto.
hate to bring this up again...but just clarified with my son today...the display gold unit in Bellevue has had a damaged woofer since May. Unbelievable.
I have been here since 2000 and suffered thru the 1:40 reverse split. The company stated I was receiving equal value for my shares so my 100,000 shares @.05 suddenly became 2500 shares @ $2.00. Right. The company said it necessary stragegically to reduce shares & attract larger investors. Right.
...yeaaahhh baby...let's burn some rubber.
soorrry...getting delirious...been strapped in to this rocket car for several years now, but it keeps driving in reverse.
Looking forward to next week...I believe it will finally find a forward gear.
pending news..."Q Gold II...now with woofer guards to keep your fingers out!...LOL!
BBY - Bellevue, WA...Woofer damaged on display model...my son tells me the salesrep said someone stuck their fingers thru that one too...don't know why SLS didn't install a 5 cent guard to protect it. The Q silver did not have any protection either. Thought the company would've added it to the many upgrades included w/ the "Gold" model. The "Gold" pkg is still a steal...install your own guard. If you are right about burning thru the present model...next one will probably have more upgrades and an "upgraded" price as well ?
cheap fix...install a wire guard to prevent damage...I almost damaged mine while unpacking.
Thanks for the "flagship" report.
I'm perplexed and disappointed that store was not used to model a perfect display.
as long as it is not printed "S7S" or we will have to wear them upside down... ; )
"Newco represents and warrants that the Licensed Products will be manufactured, packaged (including proper markings for the SLS Technology and the Licensed Marks), sold and distributed in all material respects in accordance with all applicable laws, statutes, rules, regulations and/or ordinances for each jurisdictions in which Newco carries out such activities.."
