After a sustained move up and I got a profit and I get a reversal candle....you bet I'm trading candles...screw this back up bullchit!
jux, I traded on the bad news.....I should have gone back in this morning....now I'm left in the dust. I will wait for a pullback. I traded OCNF y-day and thats another one I should have bought back...the rebound sure fooled me!
I did buy some DHT Double Hulled Tankers....comapany issued 6.5 mil shares for sale at 4.25....really kicked the float share price down but if they hold the dividend there may be a decent capital improvement in the share price.

Amazing! How about this green one, ready to bust 160 or is it a roller
Thanks for the link....I signed up!
I screwed up today, I didn't sell OCNF at 1.60+. That would have given me a three day gain of 30%. Actually I thought it had not cleared yet and I thought I would get a free ride violation since I was using funds that had not cleared from a previous sale. Hell same situation for the DRYS I sold. I did not get a warning when I sold DRYS....WTF!
I sent you the reports I have.....today's volume was 1/2 nomal daily volume. I can't find any news on Scottrade.
You better get your duck down filled jock strap on cause in case you ain't noticed your temp is gonna drop!
I once mortgaged the farm to participate in the .com irrational exhuberance. Thereafter 2000, I wore out my right hip joint kicking myself in the ass....ain't done yet and now working on wearing out the left hip joint!
Ain't it great how Ibuprophin makes the joints feel young again!
I'll be cleaning a rental all day....that's my handicap!
Yeah was! Thanks for the heads up. I had few shares and got out at 4.94... .46/share gain. Made 10% gain in three days I should be thankful and......I trade Tankers.

Hey, go to FreeRealtime and look at message #205 on AENP board. That is a reason I don't want to post there
"krosback" = ill bred trash talking POS!
I thought they may be painting the tape on my OCNF.....and I thought I understood what you meant when you referred to "painting the tape"....but I looked it up anyway. Can you forgive me for slipping away from blind faith in your empirical purity of expression.
It appears it ain't done daily or the sight I got this explanation from is out of touch with contemporary MM stealth.
Paint the Tape
Painting the tape is the illegal practice of making a sale for the explicit purpose of changing the stock price. A fund manager might, for example, buy 100 shares of a stock at an unusually high price right before the market closes at the end of the month. Then he can report that his entire long position in that stock is worth that price. Brokers have even more control over the tape. If they have two orders they can buy the stock from one customer at one price then immediately sell it to another customer at a different price.
This practice works because traditional analysis gives so much weight to some prints while ignoring others. Most analysis gives a very high weighting to the last print before the close. This value can be manipulated, especially in low volume stocks and stocks with large spreads.
The MM probably did!

FirstAlert[tm] 3/20: Market Rally: The Real McCoy
Friday 03/20/2009 1:05 AM ET - Investrend
March 20, 2009 (FinancialWire) (By Frank Kollar) -- The S&P 500 Index (SPX) has risen a remarkable 17% since its bear market lows reached on March 9, though it pulled back a bit on Thursday March 19. Is this, finally, the start of a new bull market? There are several indicators that suggest we have a great deal of upside ahead. Last week we had two trading days of better than 9 to 1, up vs. down volume. These are bullish indicators, especially if there is more than one such day in a short time span. These breadth surges were also unusually strong. 27 to 1 on March 10 and then 19 to 1 on March 12. Remarkably, we had another breadth surge this week, with 10 to 1 up vs. down volume on Tuesday, March 17. Three such days in only two weeks is very unusual. Then, according to Elliott Wave Theory, we appear to have just completed a Wave 5 on March 9. Wave 5's are usually the bottom of a series of waves to the downside. This forecasts an entirely new sequence of waves to the upside ahead. Sentiment is inconclusive as the CBOE Volatility Index (VIX) did not make new highs when the SPX made new lows on March 9 as would be expected. But historically, the VIX is at high levels, in the 40's, so it is difficult to get a read on this. It looks like the real McCoy this time, but traders should remain vigilant. Bear market rallies have a way of looking good before the axe falls.

I put out a more conservative limit buy to get my DRYS back....4.25. That will close the gap. GOD only knows!
Hey ya lookin at my charts.....I just hate when I'm right! The Tanks rolled just like the candles predicted.
You might call "coincidence" and some mitigating factors are;
1. Friday trading (what intelligent trader wants to let anybody hold his/her money over a weekend? Obviously we do....ain't too smart is it!).
2. Options expiration.
3. I get paid a .50 share dividend on GMR today, helps explain the share price drop (tryin to buy more at 7.66......
OOOPPPS just talked to the e-trade baby....my limit buy on GMR just triggered.
Hey if I like OCNF at 1.26 and I sold it at 1.40 three days later....I have every reason to like it at 1.22 today.
That's my story and I'm sticking to it
I went back into OCNF....hell the promise of 10% is better than being pulled out of the line for a bailout payment.
Did ya see Mr. President OblameA, the Dali Lama of Stimulus, on the Jay Leno show last night.......Spin Master par excellent....but Jay caught him blaming Gaither for the fumbled bailout payments. Yowsa Mr President OblameA. I wish to hell I knew what Romney would have done....or Rush Limpballs.....I think I will e-mail Rush!
Good morning idzi, juxtaposezen, hope your portfolios are bearing up to Options expiration. Tankers are pulling back strong.....I got stopped out on DRYS at 4.65 so more freed cash!
I should have set a stop on DAC....coulda, woulda, shoulda!
Still liking GMR and DHT for the long term.
Maybe it time to be some GE?
Yes jux, DRYS is one of the long bets in my basket as well. I was pleased with the jumps today but disappointed by the gaps. I let OCNF go with a small 10% gain and DSX for no gain to raise cash. Both gapped up significantly to give me concern going into a Friday and options expiration.
I expect with the gaps up DRYS will pull back....maybe I'll buy more.
My genuine long term hold, GMR, is paying a .50/share divi and has just under three months ahead of it before it has to announce quarterly earnins and maybe some bad news about triming or stopping the dividend. Tomorrow I may buy more with my freed up cash. I'm betting GMR is a winner and hope to get back into the $11s for a share price.
I hold DHT, paying a dividend and DAC which failed the dividend payment. Both are under water for me or I would have kicked DAC to the curb!
I love Tankers and I yam,
Popeye the Sailor Man
I'm outta posts! idzi I agree but are you gonna ride out the pull back and to what level? My stop would be yesterday's close. Sorry, I gotta work that formula you sent me....ain't tried it yet.
In the meantime look at the evidence for a pullback. This roller shows good candle signals;
I likes em....they are programmed to deceive, you can join them anytime but you can never leave!
Sure they could open higher on the following day or open lower but they USUALLY going down. So you want to hold for top dollar......good luck!
Here's my nemesis......GSPG....may be going up?
I made money on her...bought back in too high and lost myass.
Geesuz idzi...when they gap they pull back!
Scottrade says CCGY is a peer of GU.....what do you think about this little pinky.....somebody has been accumulating heavily this month.....not that much is obvious to suggest naked shorting...UNLESS the MM is naked selling the is stock on heavy up days then painting the tape on close. Maybe I just ain't smart enough to figure out the process.
I'd say AIG PUTTs should be attractive but we will have to wait till next to get prices after tomorrow's expiration.
Hey I got out of this at 1.31 at the end of January...took a .60/share loss. Now look at the recent trading of this SOaB!
Yup the mad money shorted this SOaB
Do ya think we are being sucked in to higher stock prices by the MMs?
Of course the same thing can be said for you MACH. Your poorfoolio of Tanker stocks gapped too! Set stops.
http://stockcharts.com/charts/candleglance.php?DAC,DHT,DRYS,GMR,OCNF|B|E12,26,9
Gapped up.....careful.
idzi......look and laugh.
http://americanbulls.com/StockPage.asp?CompanyTicker=HUN&MarketTicker=NYSE&TYP=S
idzi...what is the web page for Stockcharts lists of index symbols.
Have you noticed this old line stock.....recovering 60+% in the past week and a half....paying a 10+% dividend
Funny you should mention....did you see this today on msn.com?
Two galaxies colliding;
these things are 400 million light years away! That means 400 million years ago they looked like this. I hope their insurance companies have the respective fault figured out.
Maybe it's no fault like in Illinois....or maybe they have to pay for their own combat wounds like the OblameA administration wishes!
"Thank you Veterans!"

My BigCharts shows trading well above the 50 day. And as three line sma plot with a starting point at the 66sma to approximate the 200sma (198sma), the 66sma is about to cross the 132sma.
Still it can stay in the 10.50+-/ 8.00 trading range for some time. The Hanging Man candle TLM printed today is not encouraging.
On the other hand you could be lookin at a double top today formed in the last hour of trading.
