I'm having trouble understanding what it is you expected Tom to say at this point. He stated we have commercial pays at two different zones with one still to be tested. Did you expect real numbers at this point.
I'm thinking those with no real knowledge of oil and gas exploration are the ones with the most negative attitudes with no basis for their evaluations what so ever.
What????????
Interesting thoughts. I'd say he's striving to find words to portray thoughts (results) into viable numbers we can assume will be producable amounts.
No Chit! Just what do you think "Wildcatting" is?
I'm hoping people don't decide a double is adequate and start selling thus killing our run before it has a good chance of getting started!
We, the United States need it badly to become competitive with the rest of the World! Yes, the objective is to drive the price down, but all is relative to a stronger US and ultimately a mmore viable business and private sector. Thus, we actually win either way.
Says Who Dmbao?
Not me King, I prefer natural gas!
Tophat, Very well said. I agree and continue to be quite confident. No Kool Aid for me, but quite secure in my investment here.
J
Yes, you are correct and only after setting what pipe wasn't set when the drilling was completed. It must be a hell of a cavern where they are pumping mud from.
As is mine!
Seriously, you were able to get your grimy hands on some down there? LOL!!!! I guess I shouldn't have gone down to the barn to pitch chit!
Even 1 zone with a sizable reading with our lease holdings would be all we'd need to make a fortune!!!!!!!!!!!
I've an order in for 30K at .03 and it sure isn't getting filled in any amount. Not yet anyway!
Whazoo, truly enjoyed you opinion on yesterdays action. Now that another day has passed what are your thoughts?
J
Hill, I use to, decades ago play a very mean 2nd base. My batting average was over 300 lifetime so can I walk on?
J
Thank you Whazoo for your time investment.
J
An excellent assessment of KING. Thank you for the time you took spelling it out for anyone interested.
J
Why do you think if for some unknown reason this Mesa well "fails" this company is done?
"Not doing so well. Guess it can get worse."
Very true! However, for a gambler like me it sure has been nice allowing me to average down from my .055 to near .03!
J
True, both would be nice. However, as is the current trend we can get oil from a variety of sources around the World, but NG is far more a regional play and we need badly to cut our price by increasing our production. However, I agree short term we will reap faster rewards with oil.
Personally, I'd rather go for a huge Natural Gas find than Oil. Yes, the Oil would give us a quicker revenue flow, but long term and overall cost per $ return I think we'd be better off with a really huge NG find. Plus, in order for the US buisnessman to be viable anymore Worldwide we need to get our NG prices down to a level where we can compete with Countries able to buy it for much less.
Badge,
We all know this Co's share price was @ or near $.08 at the first of the year. Hence YTD we are up appox. 300%. Not bad, not bad at all.
I thought it was a tremendous momentum play and I've never seen one that stayed at or even near the high reached in such a play. Yes, I think this Co. has a tremendous future. However, it will take time. We've, IMO so many day traders claiming to be Longs here that the day to day action of the trading and whether their money is making money today or not is all that matters.
If Keith is able to make this a valued Co. with interest from those with big bucks willing to take all the action off his and our hands it may and most probably will take years.
I applaud you and Lowman for finding and pushing this Co. and hope when you stumble on another you include me in your list to inform of said findings.
And, I am truly a long. I could care less if the price goes back to the .08 area. When/if Keith gets it done I'll see the end results.
J
Geo, the best to ya and Godspeed in your recovery.
As to this board and what has and will most certainly continue to be written, don't waste your time. Your contribution has been great appreciated by many and for those who wish to do nothing other than slam and bash Tom, You and everyone else involved to hell with them. Once again don't waste your time.
Get well soon.
J
Hmmm, if we get numbers like you suggested in your post you will never get a single share for less than $.30.
Sounds like a good enouogh plan Hubble. I will be adding myself at those prices after the news is released and possibly higher depending of course on how I intrepret the news.
Marathon (MRO) is up over 1%, Exxon (XOM) only .11%. So, they aren't running very hard. They're PE ratios are so damn low they are still seeing good buying even though we had strong supply numbers this AM.
O&G is actually up today, but in marginal % increases.
DITTO, with cash on hand if Hubble, or others scare some into selling into a panic!
WT, I too am ready to buy. I've heard so many saying they're ready to sell at so and so amount whereas I'm going to be buying. I'm still sitting with a .055 base and can handle more in my accounts.
J
Zguy, I must have missed or forgot (yes, I'm old) that our pumps are electrical and not propane powered and that the electrical lines are below ground.
Jag,I've read many of your posts over these many months with both amusement and concern and with this one about "frustrations" I can only conclude that your best direction is to either go to Vegas, Atlantic City or one of the many other Casinos around the Country where you can see immediate results to your wagers. Or, take up, if you haven't already wagering on the ponies. In only 2 minutes you'll know the results of your wagers.
However, don't discontinue your posts. I enjoy reading your ramblings, both positive and negative.
J
My understanding was WWEN had or expected it to take three weeks to get updated with materials to send to SEC, not that we would hear anything in three weeks. But, I could be wrong, seeing how I haven't gone back and reread the release.
J
Don't know that to be true. Many of the .07's are buys by me.
Yes, I'm bid wacking on my buys!
J
Geo, Twas very kind of you!
I put my first 32nd into a well when I was 18 + 2days old. I put part of my savings from 6 years of driving field tractors, going round and round a dry wheat field watching hawks dive on mice and rabbit into this hole and it all stayed down at the bottom. I tried again when I was 21 and hit on a well that produced over 100 barrels per day for several decades and is still producing over 25. However, I sold my interest in 1992 in this well; which more than paid for my college expenses.
If I were to take the time and figure my average of good wells I think I'd come out about 55, maybe 60% to the good. Personally, I'm quite happy with my success' and hope to have many more. I have always felt good about Mesa, ever since Lowman brought it to my attention early last summer. I wasn't to excited about our ventures into the Texas plays, but I found a nice entry at .055 right after the miss last June I believe it was. And, on occassion I've been accumulating since. I like the concept of investing in Wildcatting Public Co's over private these days. It gives me more than one hole to look at with my money and investing with parties such as yourself and Tom appeals to me.
Keep up the good work and I truly wish you the best with your health concerns.
J
I've been throwing money down holes for over 37 years Geo and still feel the same excitement I felt with my first well. When the excitement is gone I will be as well.
After reading some of the messages here lately I'm convinced if we don't see a PR by the 21st day after the completion rig arrived on-site at Mesa the sky will fall and I will have the opportunity to buy EDEX for half of what it is selling for this morning.
So many people with fragile nerves and frayed patience primed to jump before they see someone else move a finger to the trigger.
Sorry if I've offended anyone. I have thought for quite some time that we haven't many here accustomed to or of the right frame of mind to be playing this Wildcatting game. It is probably more easily digested in the private sector or the major integrated companies. Of course, this is just my opinion and open to all your comments.
Frontier Oil Refinery . . .Eldorado, Kansas. .
Geo, you need not apologize for anothers intrepretation of what has been PR'd. The colors red and green painted next to each other are still red and green, not blue. If someone sees these two colors as one and it appears to them as blue it is there misinterpretation not the original painter of red and green.
Pass on the "Pink Floyd"
