Ferd - the only solution is to get these hospitals out of Rennova's hands once and for all. There IS no other solution.
What are YOU doing for a solution?
Abbas - This CEO and his buddies are greedy to the max.
I'm stunned to hear that! And here I thought they were all altruists giving up everything for the community and the shareholders.
Well I'll be dipped in sh!t.
Trumpcard - what you say about "nobody in Health Care wants to work for RNVA again in Jamestown area!!!" is so true that truth itself is a very lie by comparison.
That is very consistent with what I have heard.
Pretty much, 12year. And I don't think the employees and vendors are all that impressed either.
I agree with you Billy. As I said earlier, the question is WHY are they not getting paid?
Backstabbed - you are on to something there. But think harder - WHY do you think CMS is not paying that money, hmmm? Do you think CMS doesn't have the money?
Or do you think it's just that CMS employees are too busy watching porn and playing video games at work all day and just forgot to make those payments?
Filter -- I know that I have little to no credibility here. I think it would be better for everybody if actual shareholders were to do some on-the-ground DD and share the results of their efforts.
Why don't YOU take the challenge?
Backstabbed - Tell that to the vendors and employees who are continuously not being paid (not to mention the outstanding tax liens).
Believe what you will, my friend. Why don't you call Big South Fork and Jellico and ASK them how many patients they actually have right now?
And by all means, please share the answers you get with the rest of us iHubbers.
You mean the money that goes straight into his SL's pockets and never actually goes to fund hospital operations?
Because, I believe, time will prove that to be the case.
You know what they say: "If it looks like a skunk and smells like a skunk, it's a skunk."
Ferdinando - I am seriously reconsidering my move to Tennessee. I'm no spring chicken and I don't need to live in an area with no functioning hospitals.
I am DEFINITELY not a government agent, LOL. Enjoy your coffee.
No, Fnyack - I am not an insider and I really don't care whether people buy or sell this stock (since I don't own any and won't be buying any).
So the answer to your question is: No. You're not right. In fact, one might go as far as saying you're wrong.
I guess time will tell, Filter.
It's bleaker and darker than you know. But that's all I can say.
I'm not talking about the ups and downs of the stock, either. I'm talking about operations and finances.
There are reasons why CMS isn't paying. I don't think that Marsha Blackburn can change that. And let's not forget that she has asked the state attorney general to get involved in what's going on over there.
Perhaps we'll all have a better understanding when the 10k comes out this month - if in fact it does. Based on RNVA's past performance, I have a feeling we won't see it until September.
JRMC is still closed because, like Jellico and Big South Fork, it has been completely mismanaged. The coronavirus will not help it. They need a LOT of shovels to dig out from under the financial and operational mess that they're in.
IMHO.
It doesn't matter anyway, since we'll all be dead in 10.78 years because of climate change.
When does the RNVA 2019 10k come out? It is this month, is it not?
How come nobody at this site seems to be anticipating that?
JRMC's prospects for opening anytime soon are doubtful. And if or when they ever do open, the coronavirus won't have anything to do with it.
You want information? Just wait until the 2019 10k comes out by the March filing deadline.
Oh wait. They'll be late on that as they always are.
Filter . . Who the HECK is going to give Seamus financing when the company has such a poor credit history in terms of paying taxes, vendors and employees?
Maybe this guy:
The Sopranos Epic Scenes - Tony Wants His Money
Grmaps . . . you really think CMS hasn't paid because they're being lazy and sitting on their a$$es? Seriously?
Filter - why would anyone partner with RNVA when they can just wait until the inevitable Chapter 7 BK and then buy the facilities for cents on the dollar?
The only relevant news I have is just the same old doomsday theories we all read every day in the local public media.
Ferd - you wrote: Sabotage by locals wanting their own agenda.
Why on Earth would locals who are most affected by the RNVA hospital disaster want to sabotage these greatly needed hospitals? I doubt there is a single person in any of those counties who wants to see these facilities destroyed.
My agenda is that I want to see these hospitals functioning and serving the communities which so desperately need them. Seamus has utterly failed in that regard, which is why I want to see them out of Rennova's hands.
So tell me - what agenda are YOU talking about? Who would have such an agenda and what would be their motive?
Your complaint makes absolutely no sense at all.
Don't get me wrong - tails are good. But claws are equisite.
Chapter 7 BK seems most likely to me, since Seamus' name is Mudd in the counties where RNVA hospitals are located.
Potential buyers will be waiting for that so they can get the hospitals for pennies on the dollar.
Just my opinion.
Yeah, but Caribbean lobsters don't have claws (which are the best part of the lobster).
All due respect 12year, but I absolutely do not believe that we need an "antidote" to Trump.
I think we need an "antidote" to the big government leftist Democrats.
But this isn't a political site, so we don't really need to have that conversation here now, do we?
Government subsidies are not capitalism. Government subsidies are crony capitalism - and just as big a waste of money as you get with socialism. Big difference.
Here is an classic 1953 article that desctibes with great cleverness what creates actual economifc value to people (i.e. free markets). It's as true today as it was when it was written:
"I, Pencil" by Leonard Reed: https://fee.org/resources/i-pencil/
P.S. Government funded "Healthcare for All" will be an unparalelled disaster on both a human level and an economic level.
You got it, Penny!
Yeah. Having Bernie the socialist as president will really fix those hospitals.
Perhaps once RNVA goes into Chapter 7 and is liquidated, some reputable hospital company can pick up the physical assets for cents on the dollar and be able to get these hospitals up and running.
Or maybe the county can pick up the physical assets and rent them out to a management company, which has been discussed at county meetings
.
The problem with your suggestion is that these communities need hospitals, not nursing homes (which already exist).
Backstabbed - well, maybe he can spare a little bit of that wall money to help find a much needed cure for TDS.
True, Ferd -- but they are keeping the SEC and the state attorney general IN the fray.
moore - no. I am not a former lawyer. But as a number of lawyers can tell you, I AM the pro se defendant from HELL!!
And they have the scars to prove it!
