I wish we would have gotten a mention, but at least it shows the sector is heating up. Perhaps we will see more on CTIA in the coming days.

Agreed, it is a very good start. I am quite happy to see Intel endorsing our little company. Just hoping we see the OEM's coming on board at the same time. It's been a long wait, and at times my impatience shows through. . .
What I would really like to see at this point is some guidance regarding Telnor as Ugo implied we might get. That would provide a nice jump off point while we wait for more news regarding the MIDS.
GLTA.
I think you are right about that, I just expected that would occur during one of these two shows. Not a huge deal, but once again we wait.
I don't know Ugo, will we get news from CTIA? You are the one who talked to Rob yesterday, so perhaps you can shed some light on your own question. . .
Sorry, but I was hoping for a lot better news out of CTIA and IDF, such as contract signings or product offerings with specific OEM's. Today's PR is not news. We all knew ONEV was doing voice control for the MIDs, because we were TOLD so in the PR for the Mobile World Congress, as well as the recent corporate update.
Neither show is over, so hopefully I will be eating my words after some great followup PR's, but at this moment I am a little frustrated.

Did you ask him about Motorolla?
Fingers crossed. Thanks Dave EOM
Very nice find, Buy. This is Dean's game to win or lose right now. The market is clearly ready for this technology. It has been very interesting watching a product come out before it's time, and then waiting for the capabilities and demand to catch up. The conditions finally appear to be right. My money says we will score a win shortly.
To the longs here:
PLEASE take that email from Dean to heart. I can't believe we are doing THIS again.
For those of you who have been around as long as I have (5 years), you know that bashers and over zealous longs have hurt relationships with past ONEV partners by innundating them with phone calls. Dean has explicitly said so in past conference calls. It is extremely unprofessional for individual shareholders to badger ONEV's business partners, and frankly it reflects poorly on Dean.
For those who haven't figured it out, it is exactly what those seeking to hurt ONEV want. Make no mistake: they are not just trying to hurt the company, they are also trying to take money from my family and your families. I don't know about you, but I am not going to let that happen.
Don't play into it, don't respond to posts claiming all this doom and gloom, and PLEASE don't go on your own misguided fishing expeditions.
Bottom line: It doesn't matter if we have these agreements, relationships, etc. The only thing that matters is whether, in the near future, we see actual products coming out of the relationships. I think we will, and I think we will see the start of it this week. Calling, however, won't EVER help, and it can definitely hurt.
Thanks, good luck to all my fellow longs, and GO ONEV.

darren, thanks for the good read.
My belief is the concepts discussed in the article are what brought about the teaming agreement between ONEV and Motorola. Now we just have to see what if anything blooms from that agreement.
Right now, I can't wait to see what happens when the MIDS hit the market. I think we may see some validation in a BIG way.
Finally, it seems to me like market acceptance has finally caught up with ONEV's products. Not a moment too soon, but at least it is happening while there is a viable company left.
GLTA
Daisy, thank you for sharing that communication with the board. It is much appreciated.
Would cautiously optimistic be an accurate description of your current sentiment? I might be forced to buy additional shares if that is so. . .
I believe the possibilities with the MID platform could have an impact on this stock that transcends the immediate revenue numbers attached to whatever contracts are signed. One thing is clear to me: Intel is staking a lot on the MID's, and I believe it will market the hell out of them. IF we are indeed along for the ride, our fortunes could change dramatically.

I'd say Intel is headed in the right direction. And with all these nanotechnology breakthroughs, voice is a natural choice.

IMHO, this will likely delay the national rollout of Iris in the short term, but may help speed things up once the restructuring is in place.
Interesting times for sure. Looking forward to the first week in April
How could you have POSSIBLY determined there is no market for VR on the MIDs, which might I remind you haven't even been released yet? Either you are a lot smarter than the big wigs at MSFT and Intel, or you will say anything to bash this company. I know which option I am going with. It's a shame, because your posts used to be more insightful when you weren't so bitter.
It's one thing to debate whether or not ONEV will get a large piece of the MID pie. My money says they will, but we haven't seen enough conclusive proof yet, hence the .012 stock price. It's another to say there is no demand for VR in a product that hasn't even been released yet. Pure garbage, and you know it.
If anyone needs to refresh their memory, this is INTEL's vision for the MIDS/UMPC's. Sure looks to ME like there will be a market for VR.
Sarge, that very well may be true, but it also means the car manufacturers will have to compete harder for customers. That translates to them needing to offer the latest bells and whistles to attract buyers, who will be much more selective. I see the auto makers trying to one-up each other, and perhaps that will happen on the VR front (ie we are better than Ford).
ONEV landing a major auto manufacturer will have much more of an impact than whether or not overall auto sales are up or down, again IMHO.
Dumo, I can't see how you can conclude the OEM's have rejected VR for the MIDs when the MID's aren't even out yet. What was demoed were basically prototypes, and the real deal won't be out until Intel's new platform is released (probably several months away yet). It is just so premature to conclude that this project is a failure for ONEV. I highly doubt the final decisions have even been made as to what the first wave of MID's will include.
There are certainly no guarantees that ONEV will be a part of it, but I am not seeing defeat yet. If we see other VR providers get the nod, then my opinion will change.
GLTA
Dumotier,
I too was hoping we would get some press out of the show, but there are some other points to consider:
1) I didn't see any press on ANY VR solution for the MID's. I would be a lot more concerned if demos of other VR solutions started showing up, but right now I have not seen evidence of anyone else pulling ahead of ONEV in the MIDs or UMPCs. GPS devices, yes, auto yes, but not MID's. I can't help but go back to the references in recent filings regarding the collaboration between ONEV and Intel. Sure, it may not come to fruition, but it is way to early in the game to determine that yet.
2) I also keep going back to that concept video leaked on Youtube and shown at the IDF. I was blown away at how integral VR was to Intel's concept. In every segment, voice was a huge part, and was, IMO, the main "wow" factor that makes the concept work.
Now we just have to hope that ONEV is a part of it when the dust settles.
GLTA

Buybye, AWESOME DD as usual.
I guess the New York Times is in on the conspiracy LOL.
That is fantastic to be mentioned in that article in THAT newspaper IMO.
Thanks again
Thanks Buybye, very interesting read indeed. It could have significant implications for us in the near future. I am looking forward to see what is demoed at CES.
That is a good question for the CC. EOM
Nope, I read it as ONEV gets 30%
MTNL gets the rest, although I am sure Mantec gets a cut too.
30% is not a bad cut, IMO, given the # of subs. That is a lot of cash in ONEV's pockets. The issue is when will this roll out? If we have to wait another 6 months, we will be climbing out of a lot deeper hole.
I would have liked to see the same type of revenue and penetration projections for Telnor. Dean was much more general when talking about Telnor and Telmex, and that makes me nervous frankly. Even a ball park penetration rate would have been nice to read in a public filing.
Any ideas on what will get this thing moving north? The OEM is clearly delayed based upon what was said and what wasn't, and who knows how far the Intel project is.
They are certainly executing their business plan better than they ever have before, which is good. How much the current investors will profit from that is a big question in my mind, though, and it is frankly the only question I care about.
The first time I watched that leaked video several months ago, I felt a surge of excitement. The product they were showing looked and worked exactly like ONEV's product.
The big "if" is whether or not it is in fact our product. If it is, then our fortune has already changed, we just don't realize it yet. You can't measure the effect of that kind of publicity in quarterly reports or revenue numbers. If it isn't, then we have competition from other VR providers. However, the ongoing relationship with Intel tells me we have a good shot
Go ONEV!
Pennies to dollars.
Ugo,
Since my original post was deleted, I will ask again:
Would you care to share this "Super DD" you came across today? I am a very long time shareholder, and would certainly appreciate hearing what you have found. If you don't care to share, I would ask that you consider not making those "teaser" posts, because all they do is irritate and frustrate people.
As I said earlier, I appreciate your enthusiasm, but it's not cool to throw that stuff out there if you don't plan to share.
TIA
I show a trade at .026 already. I thought this stock, like other OTC's, didn't have pre market or after hours trading. Anyone know what gives? I haven't seen a premarket trade in the four years I have been here
GLTA. Viva Iris!
There's been no news yet, Steve. Some new ads and newspaper articles in Mexico, and some changes to Telnor's websites. The average American investor has no idea who ONEV is and what is going on with Telnor. Perhaps if we see a PR from ONEV next week things will perk up a little. Whatever the case, the BUSINESS is moving in the right direction, for the first time in the 4 years I have been here. Frankly, I have been very dissappointed and frustrated with Dean's missed goals and timelines over the years, but he has restored some degree of credibility with me based on this launch.
Looking at those ads, articles, and website design, it is clear Telnor thinks this is a money maker, and that is certainly progress in ONEV world
All I'm saying is it's a little early to claim failure. We are seeing real "beef" for the very first time.
I want people BUYING ONEV, not talking about ONEV LOL.
I guess this afternoon would be fine, followed by an announcement of India on Monday and the Tier 1 OEM on Wednesday. That's not too much to ask, is it?
GLTA
I guess Monday. I would think some sort of Iris ad/link would replace the back to school computer stuff on Telnor's main page, and when we see that, we know the launch is in full swing. Besides, I hate PR's on Friday. LOL.

Telnor.com/iris works for me-graphics changed around a little, but pretty much what we had before
When you go to Telnor.com, click on the first tab "En tu hogar" Iris is listed at the end.
Well, it looks Telnor is launching.
Good luck to the longs. It's been a long wait for a lot of us.
Thanks for the heads up, Daisy.
That was a pretty nice ad/coverage. It looked like the press conference was quite the social event. If Telnor is that excited about Iris, perhaps Telmex will not take as long as I initially believed it would.
Of course, maybe all the smiles were due to the free booze. LOL
On a side note, it would have been interesting to see a picture of Jacobo standing there with the Telnor execs.
