OT: Just got back, what'd I miss?
Hey all I got some bad news. The other night on a particularly icey night I slipped on some black ice and landed on my chin. Besides the massive amount of blood I lost in the 20mi trip from where I was to my hometown it turns out I had a severely contused lower jaw and two heavily traumatized TMJ joints along with 2 broken front teeth.
Upon further review with the dentist it turns out the jaw may actually be fractured at the TMJ joints. I'm seeing a specialist Friday for another opinion. If this is the case however I'll be needing some surgery and my jaw will be wired shut for at least 6 weeks.
Don't feel too bad for me because otherwise I'm fine. It could have been much worse. What I'm wondering, is has anyone had a jaw injury of this nature? If so pray tell what the hell did you eat!? I'm on a soup, protein shake, mashed potatoe and ice cream diet as is! If they wire me shut I don't know what I'll do! Any advice would be awesome.
LMAO Tibb "break it down, now." EOM
Oh shut up all of you. LoL
My average is $1.22 and that's AFTER I averaged down over 2 months. If I had some capital left I would have bought during this recent trip to the $.40's but I don't.
So I sit and I wait.
What a guy. EOM
This 8-K is meaningless.
LW and FV were released for not doing their job and or not acting with the best interests of the company and it's shareholders. Of course they're going to disagree with this assertion.
Honestly, I don't care their reason for leaving but I'm glad they're gone because they weren't doing anything useful in the first place. (tangible to a stockholder)
Now they want their $800K in compensation they feel the Company owes them. As the 8-K states for compensation that was withheld from them. (probably due to their incompetence)
That's the gist of the battle at hand. Here's some interesting factoids.
They filed this suit immediately after the announcement of a PPO's proceeds of $4M+
Regardless of their reasons, all they're asking for is $800K. (a relatively small amount that they may in fact justly deserve)
With MS stepping down as CEO and these guys already out of the picture... I look at this entire situation as old news who's rammifications have not fully been felt. However I don't feel they'll be all that influencial at all come a year.
Now we may finally get a definitive reason for why they were fired and why MS is stepping down and WHAT THE HELL ACTUALLY HAPPENED. Which will make me feel more comfortable.
This does not in anyway effect the Companies intellectual property or tangible assets or even involves management who will be guiding this company to greater heights. It's fairly irrelevant... but we all saw it coming.
Short term, horrible news. Long term, who gives a flying F.
Now that is cool.
Imagine that... like a heat seaking missle. These nanorods are inserted and then tracked or even guided into the tumor. Once inside they're then heated up causing them to expand, trapping them inside. Then detonated releasing its "payload" and then dissolves... that's freakin awesome. I love this stuff.
So much for happy thoughts. EOM
On no news? I know it's early.
But still shows some demand for the stock must exist... interesting.
Tibbcat what's the chart telling you now?
Did we salvage anything? Meet and resistance and that's why we haven't moved further? Or are we still pretty much in limbo with a glass floor?
Unspectacular volume...
I guess we blew our load a little early the other day with over 500K being traded...
Now everyone's either out of shares or out of money...
The Dog's Review
Ok so the update is overall positive. Some minor qualms with it include the mentioning of legal action with defamatory posters... that type of info would probably be better kept to themselves unless it's some kind of scare tactic. It just seems to be a fairly illegitimate statement in an otherwise legitimate update.
Outlining the patent and research developments was a nice touch. Rather than releasing separate PR's for each individual piece a fell swoop was undertaken. Using this update as a benchmark now we can better assess future PR's on individual project progress... I liked this.
Another qualm I had was the apparent pushing back of the cGMP facility opening to first quarter of '08. With ground breaking set to begin this quarter... I'll believe that when I see the photo of the shovel in the ground. And the comments about a office and lab layouts being finalized but they're still looking for engineering firms to compete on a design is... ambiguous at best. How is the layout finalized if the design is still being bid on? I take it they're also going for a design/build firm... whereas a better (more cost effective) approach would probably be to have a separate company finalize (develop/review/stamp) the constructions documents and have a separate group of contractors actually complete the work... at least that's what I've found to be more cost effective. ALthough being a cGMP medical facility... my experience may not be applicable.
I'll tell you what this update does not adress. Money. Nor does it offer any proposed protection to existing shareholders against further dilution. Yes we have a "meaningful revenue" stream... but what exactly does that mean? I'm not saying I expect an update to tell us what a financial statement might, I'm just saying what huge unknowns are going to prevent the SP from moving in any significant way.
As you can see... the "pop" of the release is already eroding and we'll be lucky to close above .50. ALthough I think it's an excellent buying opportunity... it's going to take a long time for this stock to move. Tangible (value producing) results will need to be seen. Agreements and collaborations and technological interest and intellectual property protection and investor relation plans and succession planning are all well and good and wonderful. But to quote a cliche phrase. "Show me the money."
I'm not bashing. I'm not. I'm just... realistic. This is great and we made alot of scientific progress (measurable?) in '06. But financially... we're in the same precarious position we've always been... except our PPO's are going for 40 cents now and that I can measure.
Just got in, seen the 25% increase.
Boy am I glad I didn't sell at .44 like I wanted to. It's gonna take me some time to go over all the posts but I will and I'll let you know what I think.

HC candid assessment.
Yah I guess... some people just put more effort and energy into their decisions with their money than others. Which isn't neccesarily a bad thing in itself, I mean frugality and smart purchasing decisions are a key part to amassing wealth. This we know and agree on.
However, I strongly question anyones energy and efforts and due diligence that lead them to this particular stock. This has never been and won't forseeably be a "smart decision". It's a decision nonetheless that may work out for the better but there's a boatload of support for the contrary. Just ask arnold.
Take it for what it's worth. Now's a great buying opportunity. The likes that won't possibly be seen again. If I had more capital I'd be buying but I don't so I continue to hold and continue to lose. Everything's cyclical in nature though and if I felt this were permanent I'd get out while the getting out was bad.
No worries on this end.
My sell order didn't go through.
I was trying to sell a decent amount at .44 to buy back at .33... looks like I missed the boat.
Is anyone else like me?
Is anyone else just here for the gamble? I mean... I'm not even trying to legitimize my investment here. Attempting to do so would probably cause me physical pain. I just sort of feel disconnected from the rest of you.
Guys your fighting is killing the stock.
LoL stop it.

Interpretations? Anyone?
Again... with this talk of 4th quarter.
We should all be under the same general consensus that there won't be any word on 4th quarter financials until the 10-K in April. Last time I checked that's 2 months away. Or 45ish trading days. (a long time)
While what happened this past 4th quarter is important. I don't find it all that relevant or pertinent to what's happening NOW. We were in the midst of inhouse dissension and turnover and can likely expect sales results to reflect this.
But this quarter and next and next right up until the factory opens and then 4 quarters after that... are all outrageously important.
I'm honestly amazed at this companies ability to stay in business. With the amount of money they've lost and the lack of tangible progress (ok so we made the tumors go away... apparently no one cares) this company should have been out of business 2 years ago.
But they still find a way to get investors and they still manage to keep the lights on. This says alot for their... perseverance, but not much else.
A dog's thoughts.
Kanga's concerns and frustrations are extremely valid. I find myself nodding my head while reading them as I assume many of you are as well.
However there's one very important reason (and bunch of minor ones) preventing me from being as vocally vexed. When I invested in this company (somewhere near the 52 week high) I very much convinced myself that I would not even think about touching the money for at least 5 years.
This did a few things for me. It... basically kept me from losing my mind over this stock. It gave me a "big picture" perspective and a lofty goal that I cannot nearly accurately judge or predict the progress made towards. Even if this turns out to be a complete and utter failure... I'm here for the long run.
That's the other thing that's keeping me from going nuts. This is an OTCBB stock. This is a stock of a company on the cutting edge of an industry that isn't exactly known for it's success rates (it's barely even known or understood at all). This particular company isn't even one of the more reputable or well managed companies in this sector. This company has been and continues to be highly unprofitable. The odds are stacked against us in more ways that I can comprehend or understand.
But I knew this coming in. It's not like I thought I was investing in Pfizer and was like "HEY! WHAT THE HELL IS THIS!?" I am prepared (and half expecting) to lose my investment. This isn't a sound investment, this isn't even a good investment. It's a speculative venture of the kind you read about (or the kind you'll find in any casino). But I knew all this. Thankfully... I don't need the money, I'm here for the ride.
PPO eh... hmm
So how long do PPO shareholders have to wait before they can sell their shares? Because at this rate they'll be dumping their shares quickly before we get back to .40
Gotta watch out for that. Hey at least we have some money now and some reassurance that we can build this factory. If we can make enough money in synDNA sales to keep the lights on and make payroll... this could all work out...
If we get below .50 we should all probably add to our positions... whatya say? Anyone with me?
3 10-Q's and a 10-K
As Arnold pointed out we won't see any 10-Q for the 4th Quarter.
Also you'll notice we've never made a SEC filing prior to the 3rd-4th week in March of any year. Except for one 8-K back in 2002 or something... which basically said we fired out accountant MFSL.
Don't expect much in way of SEC filings until the 10-K.
My guess on revenue is $145K. This is based on nothing.
Jumpin Yasser-Arafat
There was a 50,000 trade at a buck today... but it doesn't show up on any of the day's highs. Neither bid nor ask nor trade price.
But here it is, straight from level 2 itself... it's got the be a typo or glitch. The daily volume and the amount of shares traded there don't add up. (unless they were restricted shares??? are these traded separately from common shares?)

This board is almost as dead as the CYGX PR release section... Notice I said almost.
Oh and koko look on the bright side, it could always be worse.
Just called the company.
Turns out there's at least someone answering phones. Even if it's from the holding cell of an alien mothership... Although information will be provided when it's available.
Maybe the aliens have some space metal that we can sell to the Chinese to help with financing.
Guys seriously though. I'm not concerned. I'm confident our next financing deal will not be a PPO of any kind. In fact I'm banking on federal loan/grant or possibly increased revenue.
We've been selling some synDNA for a little while now. I assume we're continuing to receive and manufacture orders. We have no reason to believe these were 1 time only deals.
This is my sincere hope. Although hope has never been a sound investment strategy.
I can buy into that.
In order for a company to have a hot stock they must in turn have a hot service or product. Or at least be perceived as such. Price goes up.
Then there's the intrinsic value companies who may not have a "hot" item but have a strong solid base of items and have great ROI numbers. Breaking into new markets and lower COGS... price goes up, albeit not as quickly.
Then there's us who would be comparable to what? Moses in the desert? Hoping for a miracle? Well I'll keep the faith. I don't like changing my mind, even if it's off a bad decision.
Why do stocks fall on no news?
Apparently the GDP never bought in to the concept that no news is good news. Do people automatically assume the worse when a company says nothing?
I'm not only referring to CYGX. I have a few other holdings that have dropped almost 8% since the New Year without any news since early-mid December. Even considering that last PR's have been quie positive and uplifting.
OT: ABout Hartford
Yah I'm a mutual fund holder Cap App II to be exact I just found the wording very confusing. My take came from the following lines.
"Under the terms of the settlement, The Hartford will
pay $55 million to mutual funds that participated in The Hartford's program for directed brokerage in recognition of mutual fund sales during the period from 2000 through 2003."
I think it's saying that my Cap App II fund is receiving a portion of the $55 million from the parent company... for whatever reasons... although I have no idea if I'm interpretting that correctly.

Aww it's back...
Too bad I'd rather continue to think it's been halted... than watch it go down.
Why would trading be haulted?
How is the last size 1300 and the volume only 800? Something isn't right.
We still need some good news.
Otherwise get out your Dramamine because this could go every which way.
OH boy...
Well we've hit the .40's... this is officially a travesty. Down 18% in one day... let this be a lesson to the immeasurable advantages to the Dollar Cost Average or the inumerable disadvantages to the lack thereof.
An awful start.
I don't know about you all but the New Year is looking dreadful. Entire portfolio down 2.5 points thus far...
With the majority of my holdings down over 3% today alone on no news. I really don't know what to think or do.
Come on Cyto, turn it around for me. Why do I feel like I'm betting on a horse?
The Thing About China
Well Kang my Christmas was fairly fun... spent it at the casino. Which is the first time I've ever done that, woulda been more fun if they had a blackjack table for less than $50 a hand and I wasn't forced to play Acey Duecey, Let It Ride and $4-$8 limit Hold Em >.< but I digress.
China, as we all know was a greatly anticipated rumor that I may or may not have been responsible for starting. I've copied all the PRC related PR's for review.
The way I look at it is that we went out and got patent protection in China (let alone Europe and India) for a reason right? We also have cures against livestock disease, which might be you know, I dunno, useful to a country with 20% of the world's population. Also... supposedly we were to be selling our herpes cream in the PRC since 2003... what ever happened to that? I dunno...
I understand that the PP deal went down the tubes... but what? Phanuel Pursuits is the only company capable of distribution of our product in PRC? Come on...
I still feel like this company/stock is like a bad expensive girlfriend you wish you never fell in love with. Who stands you up on dates and doesn't even bother to call or attempt to make an excuse for.

(BW)(TX-CYTOGENIX)(CYGX) CytoGenix Inc. Licenses Anti-Herpes DANN Formulation for Manufacture and Distribution in the People's Republic of China
Business Editors/Health/Medical Writers
HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 17, 2003--CytoGenix Inc. (OTCBB:CYGX) CytoGenix announced today that it has granted an option for an exclusive license to Phanuel Pursuits, Ltd., an international trading company, for manufacture and distribution of its proprietary anti-herpes topical cream in the People's Republic of China. The compound is effective in combating both genital and labial herpes (cold sores).
The PRC, with approximately 20% of the world's population, has many of the same public health problems found elsewhere, including a rising incidence of sexually transmitted diseases. For example, in the U.S. 1 in 4 adults has genital herpes. Comparable infection rates in the PRC could mean over 400,000,000 people infected.
'We are working closely with the various government health agencies to insure a successful product introduction,' states Mr. David Lane, Phanuel's managing director and CEO. 'If we can treat even 10% of the people infected annually (approximately 40,000,000 people), we would consider this a huge success. We are very excited about bringing this technology to the PRC and expect to add other CytoGenix products in the future. This is one reason why we have taken an equity position in CytoGenix,' adds Mr. Lane.
Dr. Malcolm Skolnick, CytoGenix' CEO, comments, 'This is our first major licensing agreement for our technology as a commercial product, and we have every expectation that Phanuel's business experience and relationships in the PRC will insure the success of this project over the next few years.'
Phanuel Pursuits, Ltd. is an international trading company charted in the British Virgin Islands.
CytoGenix Inc. is a biopharmaceutical company that develops and markets innovative products and services based on its proprietary DNA expression technology. CytoGenix has products in pre-clinical development including, anti-herpes, anti-psoriasis and anti-inflammatory topical creams. OT Speaking of playing games.
Anyone else ever spend their Christmas at a casino? I spent the better portion of yesterday at Foxwoods.
Unfortunately Santa was tired from his round the world flight or had me on the naughty list because there was no presents taken home from my trip.
I must say though... I'm not the only one who decided to celebrate in the exact same manner. Come 6pm there was officially 1 (of 50) $25 BlackJack tables with the remaining portion being $50.
So I was forced into some crazy games with ridiculous odds... and eventually hit the poker tables. Either way I had a good time as I hope did everyone else.
I look forward to the new year and hope for a strong performance out of CYGXland.
Hang on to it. I am.
Actually do whatever you want. Just understand that I'm one of those guys who jumped on the bandwagon at the high point.
My first purchase was at $1.43. 3 months later I averaged down to $1.21... then I became disconcerted with the amount of capital I was moving into a OTC stock and stopped investing into it.
I'm still here... holdin strong. I don't know what's going to happen of whether or not this thing is ever gonna leave the ground or even dig itself back up to daylight.
All I know is we have an awesome team of scientists. A supposed product that's better than sliced bread in the genetic field. A new cGMP facility opening up in a year. And... uh... uh... strong distribution partners in GE. Also at least a half dozen partners looking to buy from us. Um... that's about the end of the pro's.
The con's... just read Arnold's last 50 posts for all the con's you care to read. Most of them are fairly if not entirely accurate. However... neither him nor myself can accurately predict what will happen in a year.
If you need the money, or have a better opportunity, or if you don't believe in the science anymore, or managements ability to market and deliver that science, or managements ability to replace itself if it can't. Then sell. It's not all that tough of a decision.
P.S. $auce's artist is Stevie Wonder. Not that I knew that... Google magic my friends.
Ok you convinced me.
Now two questions, who will it be? When will it happen? Of course nobody knows... if they did they wouldn't be allowed to say anything anyway...
I'm going to go watch the level II trades to try and figure it out.
Clueless/mindless folk thinking? Isn't that an oxymoron?
I guess it's better than clueless/mindless folk singing.
Anyway I like the list of scientists $auce put out there for us to oggle. Some nice eye candy, these brilliant folks are creating HIV vaccines that are as effective as standard vaccines for a fraction of the cost. Amazing...
As far as MS stepping down. Preposterous... I mean seriously... who's making the decisions over there? No COO, no CFO and now you're suggesting we oust the CEO... we'll just be a roaming band of stockholders and scientists traveling the land curing diseases and solving mysteries. Zoiks!
Now if everyone could get back on the bus that'd be great. Next stop, reality. I'm done.
Not getting excited over this news...
So when's a synDNA based IND for an HIV cure being proposed?
The 2007 supposed IND filing with be for the herpes right?
We could have 2 vaccines shortly after opening our facility, but that's still a year away.
Apparently the market feels differently up .09 or %14.75...
How the hell does this news warrant that type of jump?
