Yes. Ashley assured me that if it is listed under on deck then they are arranging and planning to stock and sell Major Hemp Hipa. Looks like they promote their new beers well too. Since I called at 730 Sunday night nobody who does the ordering was in the shop but she suggested those folks might have more info as to expected shipment date, etc.. So maybe another phone call.......
Major hemp not on shelves yet in Wichita, per Ashley Goebels liquor
Per Ashley at Goebels liquor in Wichita, Major Hemp is not yet in inventory. I looked at the website and it is listed under “on deck” however did not have a price listed and the icon was the church street logo not the major hemp logo. That made me think it is not in stock so I called to verify. Ashley said she is not able to give an estimated date for when major hemp will be on the shelf but verified that if it is listed under on deck then they are planning to stock it.
Possible trend reversal with bullish deliberation block that formed today? Anyone?
Bullish deliberation block chart formation over last three days?
Thank you so much for that thoughtful explanation. I have not thought very highly of wallet investor and have not used their projections to make my decisions for a number of reasons, but it was posted on another board today and I guess I let that discourage me. It just seems like sipc should be able to achieve better gains than that within 5 years but I don’t have much experience with otc stocks. Anyway I just had a day of concern and maybe panic that I’ve messed up and thrown what little money I have down the toilet. So thanks for your comments and taking the time to explain why you have confidence in this pick. Much appreciated.
So Wallet INvestor is suggesting year value of SIPC at .057 and 5 year at 0.31. I'm curious Sleek if you can tell me whether it's realistic to think that an OTC stock such as SIPC can go higher than that and what is your opinion as to profit potential? Also, you've written about the past MJ bubbles and shown the stock reaching highs, but then of course the value falling again. When you speak of 2019 MJ craze do you think these stocks will just bubble up and crash or do you think they will have staying power? Just some questions from a stock newbie and maybe a little concerned. THanks
As long as the government shutdown continues, SIPC will not be able to get any new product to market because no labels can be approved. Beer industry is really getting hit hard by the shutdown. I saw a piece on MSNBC interviewing a guy from Prairie Brewing in Oklahoma, saying how they can't introduce their new lines because there is no functioning and staffed agency to approve labels, etc, and the huge amount of budgeted revenue they are losing due to that. So even though SIPC has new products that were ready to go as soon as hemp was legalized, we are frozen out. I don't think anything can improve for SIPC as long as the shutdown goes on and maybe for the whole cannabis market as well.
Then we will gobble up their shares when they sell and we will hold them. It seems that most if not pretty much all of the marijuana sector stocks are experiencing similar issues. Possibly because of the novelty of the stocks and products and sudden explosive interest and opportunities in this sector attracting lots of quick turn-a-buck types. But over time we will take control.
I have no worries about Major Hemp as a product. Maybe its not the first commercial hemp beer but there are very few others, and right now people are eager to try them. It will sell immediately as soon as it hits the shelves. And next quarter revenue will reflect it! And it sounds like we have a great tasting product compared to a certain competitor. Of course MH will be all throughout the country soon and Major Hemp will be a brand that beer afficionados will know and look for and when things get really big and crazy, Major Hemp will already have OUR foot in the door as a recognizable and desirable brand! A HUGE advantage!
UPDATE: retailer feedback
My friend was, in fact, thinking of Major Hemp BROWN ALE, not HIPA. Although I tried to clarify that last night, he said most of the hemp beers are IPA and that's probably why he told me it was the HIPA. So, MY mistake for posting. Many apologies. I will learn from my mistake.
Well I have text out to him for clarification and asking for a photo. We'll see if responds. I suppose treat it as rumor until I hear more. I will delete the post. My apologies for any confusion.
I'm not in GEorgia anymore, so I can't check the store myself. But regardless, I think the feedback regarding hemp beer is valuable. There is consumer interest, theres interest in developing a CBD lager, and it will take time to see if our sales hold. The good ones will float to the top!
Sorry Panzer, didn't mean to confuse. But my source is pretty good, a leading retailer and he swears he's been selling it. He was familiar with sipc and knew it was a penny stock. Maybe I shouldn't have posted about my conversation until AFTER he provided photographic evidence of the beer on his shelves.
He swore to me up and down he had it, i asked him was it Major Hemp brown ale or HIPA, he said it was HIPA. I asked him to send me a photo of it on his shelves tomorrow. WE'll see if he sends it. I was confused when he said that too, but he doesn't usually get that wrong. But didn't someone post a picture of a four pack on a counter somewhere before the launch? or am i thinking of someone else? I originally contacted him to be on the lookout for Major Hemp as I didn't think it was in Georgia yet, then he said he's already been selling it for 2-3 weeks.
One liquor/beer retailer’s feedback on Major Hemp:
My good friend owns one of the largest liquor/beer retailers in northeast Georgia. I bombarded him with texts last night regardingMajor Hemp. He doesn’t give very satisfying answers by providing little things like details but here’s the gist of feedback I got from him:
1. He currently has Major Hemp Hipa in stock and has been selling it for “a few weeks”
2. He says he has been selling “a few cases a week” and it’s “ getting some traction” but there are several other Hemp, cbd beers and cbd root beers on the market. He also notes that local brew houses have been making and selling them for some time so not all buyers will think it’s a novel product
3. He says new beers usually sell when they come in because people want to try them and it will be seen if the momentum will hold
4. He believes the ipa crowd is getting tired of hops and would like a hemp/cbd beer in a lager
5. I asked if it’s overpriced, his answer “they’re all overpriced. “
6. He also has a growler shop I didn’t ask if he will be doing growlers but I think those would be good.
7. Overall he was noncommittal. I don’t think he personally has tried it yet. But he says it is selling, seems to be getting more notice and is competing well with similar beers thus far
So for what it’s worth... I think we have a winner!!!
Thank you and thanks for the tips. I’m new to this whole game and only started investing six weeks ago on my 50th birthday In an act of Midlife crisis desperation. Am feeling smug I found SIpc and wdrp all by myself. I originally bought into the big names being promoted and immediately sold those after oct 17. Then spent some time evaluating which stocks stayed green through that event. Then when the Dow fell I researched to see who stayed green and pinpointed sipc and wdrp. Then even with my rudimentary understanding of chart analysis I could see that all the indicators were beautiful and much better than mst other of the pot stocks. So I bought sipc and wdrp. It was only after buying shares that I learned they are partners! I have been buying what I can in anticipation of an increase and I have modest shares but it will be a boon to me if this works out. I think the big difference is the lower debt and they have a product right now. They don’t have to build up retail stores or spend fortunes on setting up agricultural facilities etc. I appreciate the tips. I need them and am learning a lot on the message board, the group support from the message board has decreased my anxiety over dips and helped me settle on a definitive strategy which is to HOLD! Here’s to our adventure!
And how do I get some?
I think this already has shown to be the strongest and most resilient of the otc “pot stocks”. The carnage of oct. 17 weeded out a lot of players while SIpc and wdrp were the only ones still standing and growing. We had some bad days on the market after that but our stocks were the only ones of a small handful of otc stocks hat continued to grow. That’s how I found this stock. I’m late to the party but better late than never and it’s exciting as hell to be involved in something with so much potential!! Cheers SIpc
Thanks to all for encouragement and support to stay strong and hold my shares over the last volatile week. I have ended the day with a sense of hope and excitement for what this stock may bring. Also, I REALLY like beer, and if nothing else it will be something to enjoy at home after a long shift! Cheers to SIPC!
