Just curious, did cvsi want to be bought by cweb?
Remember how they had to change transfer agents because Island Transfer, aka Carl Dilley’s business, was busted for scamming people? The same dilley who was an executive for canb? Who they publicly fired, then quietly rehired a year later?
That’s the moment I knew this company was run by liars.
They’ve done all the classic otc scammy moves. But unless the attorney general comes out and makes an official statement about marco et al, nobody is allowed to notice all their scumbag maneuvers? They should be dismissed as myths?
Nobody is allowed to question management because the sector is down? The pps is allowed to tank without repercussions for marco? Everything they do is “excellent?”
Even if the cbd sector was UP, the pps would have gone down anyways because they DOUBLED the outstanding shares while increasing their losses. Then they do a r/s without a single bit of revenue guidance or good news. Not to mention, their authorized share count was NOT reduced, and still sits at 1.5 billion?
The reality of Canb is, insiders profit while shareholders get rooked.
We will see on April 1st...err 15th...how “huge” their revenues are.
We will also see how much they paid themselves while shareholders lost their shirts.
There will be plenty of excuses and rationalizations for whatever shortcomings the annual report has, that much is certain.
Got it. Anything and everything this management team does is excused because the sector is down. They have carte blanche and cannot be held accountable because that would be unfair in the current sector environment.
Gosh, I don’t know. Maybe because the post started with “The latest excuses are false claims that dilution and the R/S are responsible for making Canb a worst investment than the others.”
Shareholders should hold management responsible, not defend every mistake tooth and nail. As you said, there are certainly a lot of excuses being made.
Just to clarify, are you saying that dilution and the r/s have NOT contributed to the decline of this stocks value?
Investors don’t care whether or not Canb is a “bad company.” They only care if it’s a bad investment.
It has been, thus far.
There are legitimate concerns about the management of this company. The timing of the reverse split, the amount of dilution over the last two years, their inability to report financials on time, the lack of transparency/communication, the insider selling, the terrible websites, the rehiring of Carl Dilley, and more.
How can anyone claim the pps reduction is solely due to the sector, when the amount of outstanding shares more than doubled since 2018? When they have never posted an actual profit? These are fundamental problems, not sector trend issues.
The cbd sector’s decline is used as a catch-all excuse on a daily basis when there are deeper issues that need to be acknowledged. Not every decision they make is “excellent.”
The annual financials are due in a couple weeks. Let’s see if they report on time and if they made any money in q4.
Myth vs reality: the reality version
Myth: Canb pps will go parabolic in 2018
Reality: It didn’t.
Myth: Canb pps will go parabolic in 2019
Reality: The stock price tanked
Myth: Investors don’t care if the price tanks, as long as other companies are doing poorly too
Reality: Investors don’t like losing money, regardless of sector circumstances or other countless excuses
Canb is now officially sub penny. There’s a fact for ya.
Looks like Canb has been a bad investment, along with the others.
When I first invested here, there were around 3-400k shares outstanding and the float was 60k. That number has now grown substantially. Stock based compensation for advisors, board members, officers, and so on. Acquisitions purchased with stock. Selling shares to raise money.
Regardless of any opinions regarding motives or effectiveness, dilution is standard practice with Canbiola. They don’t have any profits or cash to pay for their operation, so they use stock instead. Why should anyone believe the dilution will stop after the split?
Without any profitable financials thus far, is there any reason to believe Canbiola will stop diluting its shares after the split?
If Canb was a profitable company, they could buy back or retire shares. Unfortunately, they rely on dilution and selling shares to stay afloat. They have to do a r/s to stay under the authorized share count. Unless they can become profitable, the dilution will only continue after the split.
Lol. If canb has a green day, and aapl has a red day, can we then say that “Canb is a better performing stock than Apple?”
No. That would be absurd. Just like saying canb is the #1 performing cbd stock.
Here is the most informative part of the seeking alpha article:
Down 12% I’m shocked! Queue the posts about “time to load” and “these prices are a no brainer!”
Lol, it’s been a no brainer since .08 according to some. Only need about a 500% gain to recoup those “smart money” investments.
Most of the time revenue generates net income?
Not in the case of Canbiola, that much is certain. That's why the shares have been diluted so dramatically. Canbiola has to sell shares to compensate for their net losses and to pay for their continued existence.
Without "smart money" footing the bill, Canbiola wouldn't even be a business anymore. They operate at a loss and always have.
Will that change? I don't know. Maybe.
I think “outperforming” is putting a pretty heavy spin on things. “The boat sinking the least quickly” might be more appropriate, don’t you think?
Ask really thinning out here...
I was just thinking the same thing earlier! Some of the comments are so absurd, it can’t be real, independent thinking people posting them.
After a 20% loss on heavy volume, people talking about what a gift this stock is, and how it’s a no-brainer to add. I admit, I drank the kool-aid for a while, but the losses people have incurred here...the excitement seems really out of place here at this point.
Haven’t you heard? Canbiola doesn’t need to have good business practices because the sector is doing poorly.
Besides, why sell more products on their websites when their salaries get paid off the backs off smart money investors who buy their stock? They’re making all the right moves!
Don’t worry, there will be plenty of opportunities to buy back for cheaper if I choose.
The dilution will continue after the reverse split. The “amazing” revenues described aren’t enough to support this company, so they will dump shares at your expense well into 2020.
Right before they issue a few hundred million more shares, lol.
Yeah! Amazing! To da moon! This company is so awesome!
Eye roll. I believed it in the 8s, the 7s, the 6s, the 5s, the 4s, the 3s and the 2s. Not the 1s.
Canbiola is a joke. A true pump and dump, except nobody ever gets to dump at a profit besides the company itself, since they get shares for free.
Do you really think the sector is the only reason the pps has gone down? Nothing else?
I personally think the downward movement of the sector has contributed, certainly. But I also think this company has many other issues that contribute as well. Some here use the “sector” as a catch-all to excuse everything this company does wrong. It’s not honest or accurate.
I’m not arguing whether Canbiola is a good investment in comparison to any other company. By itself, it’s been a terrible investment, regardless of the performance of other stocks.
It’s like saying I should enjoy a turd sandwich because it’s better than a vomit burrito.
And not to beat a dead horse, but I think it’s safe to say the Canb will NEVER uplist to nasdaq. They are super sketch in so many regards, their application is likely going in the trash bin with all the other otc companies who use uplisting as a carrot to sell more shares. Jmho
This is about shareholder confidence, of which Canbiola has none, hence the massive loss of value in the pps.
Add Dilley to the laundry list of other things Canbiola has done to damage its reputation:
Late filing every quarter
Officers quitting suddenly
Insiders selling shares (never once has an insider BOUGHT a single share of Canbiola, have they?)
Diluting the stock by increasing OS to 700,000,000+
Increasing AS to 1.5 BILLION
Authorizing a 300:1 R/S (without decreasing the number of authorized shares or giving anyone a say about it, how convenient)
Dare I mention the vending machines?
Dumping shares daily to pay for their operations - since, you know, their business doesn’t actually support itself
Compensating themselves handsomely while the company loses money
And on and on.
But the FDA and the sector are the ONLY reasons this company has tanked, right?
Canbiola is a joke run by frauds. 90% plus losses for shareholders, while the board members laugh all the way to the bank.
I don’t wish ill on anyone, and I hope everyone makes money on their investment ventures. But this stock...sucks.
Yeah, sure. But none of this is real yet, is it? They will be diluting this stock to oblivion before all these acquisitions are actually payed for, right? Do you thing the next six companies will be bought with revenues or with the money from dumping shares? Before or after the reverse split?
I’m not trying to bash, just genuinely concerned and wondering if these guys are for real or if this is just another scam to sell shares.
Each of them compensated at the shareholders expense. All of them happy to get a fat paycheck while the company posts losses every quarter and the pps tanks.
This company was supposed to achieve “hockey stick growth,” remember? Turn that hockey stick upside down and you get something closer to reality.
The entire sector is down, so that must mean canb is a good stock?
Wrong.
There is a false narrative about the FDA and the cbd sector being the reason Canbiola has lost value. The real reason is because Canbiola is run by PROVEN con artists who have been busted MULTIPLE times selling shares for companies that DON’T EXIST.
Every person has lost money this year on this stock. And that’s ok because other people lost money on other cbd stocks too? Give me a break.
What a complete crock this company is.
Oh, brother. There’s nothing complex about Canbiola. It’s a share dumping scam. Can you explain why Carl Dilley, a proven crook who sold shares for non-existent companies multiple times, is again part of Canb? After they had him “resign” just earlier this year?
Can you explain that? Does the FDA have anything to do with his criminal conduct? Does the FDA have anything to do with the share dumping this company perpetrates on the shareholders daily? Does the FDA control the terrible websites, or terrible investor relations, or terrible share structure, or the reverse split that conveniently doesn’t reduce the number of authorized shares?
The sector is down, true. But just because the other cbd companies are down, it doesn’t make canbiola any less terrible.
This stock has gone down, down, down for this whole year.
As an investor, who cares what other cbd stocks are doing? Red is red.
Fda nonsense has nothing to do with canb. This company is run by frauds who dump shares at shareholders expense. Everyone who is honest knows it’s true. Not a single person has made money on this in 2019 besides marco and the other insiders.
Cool pr. Where’s the q?
Will any of this acquisition revenue be shown on this q, or are we waiting until 2020?
With all due respect, this company hasn’t given any significant news about their progress for a long time. They rehired Dilley, who is a proven scam artist. They filed yet another extension on their fins, then announced a surprise r/s after hours on a friday.
How can investors be expected to have any faith in canb? Nobody has made money on this, their financial house is not in order, and the registered agent is a criminal.
The fda will likely have an effect on the sector, but tbh, this company sucks. I used to be on board, but once they rehired Dilley, I just can’t see how anyone can continue promoting this stock.
I was a cvsi shareholder when this happened. The r/s wasn’t approved by the shareholders. The market liked that and the pps went up on its own without the split.
So, the r/s won’t necessarily cause a loss, but it’s likely because people will start dumping shares out of fear?
If the revenue is 30 milion-ish after the acquisitions and such, won’t the market cap go up, regardless of the number of OS?
Does the number of authorized shares stay the same?
Wow, I’ve never personally been through one of these. Is there anyone with experience who can highlight the positives and negatives of a r/s?
