I was wondering if I was the only one who noticed....
Moderator - I'm not sure if this is within the realm of your tasks here, but are you able to fix the RSS feed for this forum?
It's a hand way I follow the posts and I miss it.
Does anyone know if Vits is still in the parking lot? :)
...still waiting....for my escape....
Brown
So is this something that should be available on Pinksheets.com?
Is this something that should be available on the sunbiz site?
Maybe I should keep checking....
If this isn't available at either of the above sites, does that mean it has even been filed?
Just wondering...
Every time an old PR is posted, it is a bitter reminder of where we are not.
Identa filings,
Found here at Sunbiz.org.
Last event filed was 07/14/2010.
Emily - Your's and Johnny Vits PR's have been about on par with the same level of reality in official IDTA PR's. I think you should both keep them coming.
The likelihood of any legal consequences coming from your satirical PR's or the statements made in company PR's is about zero.
And don't worry - I'm pretty sure you have the right to satire...or parody. Ever watched South Park?
I couldn't agree more.
I'd say it is highly available and gives no indication as to the demand.
If I were a merchant of various types of security products, I would certainly want to have idta products included in my store. Therefore, getting these stores to offer the product is no big deal unless they are required to purchase X number of units to become a retailer and are actually selling the product well enough to warrant repeat orders from idta.
Of course we don't know about any sales figures...I don't need to go into that...
What kind of #'s? Anything audited?
Don't forget this link to check for filings at Sunbiz.org.
All the best.
Wow - have you been waiting for just the right opportunity to use that one?
I love bad jokes - I tip my hat to you.
Wow - that fine collection of information should be made sticky.
Hey Midas - here you go.
April 3rd, 2003 - Identa negotiating with US drug store chains
http://www.identa.biz/pressrelease.asp
It's the 5th one from the bottom of the page.
7 years is a pretty long time for negotiating eh?
Well to be honest I wasn't really expecting a response. I guess it was more rhetorical than anything.
I can appreciate that he's trying to get the message out there, as the facts he posts are useful for new people seeking information, however they're also a bit of a slap in the face for anyone who has been in this for too long.
To those who have made money flipping this stock - I say good for you. I only wish I had recognized this for what it was earlier, as you have done. Hats off to you. There certainly were some great opportunities to get in and out.
This is just the kind of information that frustrates me. If the product took about 6 years to develop then what have they been doing with this proprietary technology for the past 10 years?
They're different because they are exceptionally good at dragging this out. There is some serious talent there.
The funny thing here is that I'd say almost everyone on this board would say they have good products. I believe this is what makes this a tough stock. Solid products + Poor Management = wtf?
" 70,000 units to be finalized in a matter of a few weeks."
I wonder if they'll follow up and let us know when it is actually finalized?
Sure would be nice.
...not to mention they've already done the buy back PRs...which didn't do much for the pps or reduce the OS.
Is this really news? Or rather, is this news worthy?
Can you imagine if every publicly traded company announced a meeting?
GO IDTA!
Two things about this PR.
1) "...we will continue to finalize the option to sign an agreement with the Chicago based company-private label (mentioned already in a previous press release)."
Instead of saying already mentioned, why would you not take this opportunity to explicitly mention their name again and take the opportunity for a little extra marketing?
2) "...we have already started working (before the final signing of the agreement) to penetrate new PD's"
What is "PD's"? I assume it is not pump and dumps. :)
All the best.
Nice post.
I think I'm really not understanding the fundamentals of this PR.
1st - Shorting is legit, right? From what I understand it would be a great way to make money as a stock slides down hill. Failures to deliver are the only legitimate complaint I can understand but I didn't read that. Please correct me if I'm wrong about these.
2nd - Would you not release good news to cause a short squeeze? This assumes you have solid, quantifiable and legitimate good news to release and not fluff. Again, please correct me.
3rd - Totally agree with Emily post 11232 - this PR is a cop-out. We can moan and groan about the share price all we want but the only group i place blame on is Identa - not the market place or market makers. Time to take responsibility for your company and not by blaming others.
SB
Fadi - at what price will you stop buying and hold?
Johny if you leave the lot then it would mean the tail-gate party is over. We can't have that now, can we? You've got a serious obligation to uphold here. Please don't take that obligation lightly.
Is anyone in the know able to let us know if the trip to the states is delayed by the volcano?
SB
Here's my favourite part.
"IDenta Corp. is ready and has the financial ability to make the above mentioned changes due to the sales of the different products in the last couple of years in many different countries."
Well we'll have to take your word for it because we have no idea what those sales figures amount to.
And then how many chances after that?
And how many chances have we given them so far?
I'm starting to believe either the product is inept or management is. I'm just not sure which.
Perhaps a little from column A and a little from column B?
Who knows...
It's unfortunate, but you're not alone with that thought.
We'll just release this one after hours and hopefully no one will notice as we kick it under the rug....what's that over there? Look away, look away...nothing to see here folks.
Not only is there anything being released, but we're retracting previous statements.
Good-grief - can't a pinkie catch a break?
...and I thought it was an April fools joke.
Here - I'll do one better.
Everyone go make nice with Mr.S.

On the nose midas.
It has recently become very clear to me the difference between those who are hopeful and those who believe in hope and those who believe in fact.
Hope and hope based posts can be entertaining when taken with many grains of salt.
Fact can and should lead to legitimate hope and confidence in any company.
My advice to all is; don't confuse fact and hope.
Anything that is not fact, is hope.
Good-luck out there,
SB
Hey Emily -
Does this help?

Now don't get me wrong. I really want IDTA to succeed, I just want to be very realistic about where to lay blame if blame is due.
I really don't want excuses or pie-eyed theories as to why the pps is not going anywhere. I certainly don't want to hear excuses from the CEO either. I don't know why he even mentioned 'shorts' in the last PR. Shorting is legal isn't it? Failure to deliver is another thing altogether, but I don't think that was mentioned - please correct me if I'm wrong here.
If I'm playing 'arm-chair CEO', our two biggest reasons for a sagging pps are:
1) The share structure is simply too big
2) Audited Financial information is not available
I'd like to make a few bucks here. I've been holding for years.
It would seem like we have the potential of a very successful company but we continue to behave like a pink sheet company.
This is what frustrates me the most.
SB
Can't you see our share price is now the US Army's fault?
Geesh.
We also need volume, volume and then some volume.
Did I mention volume?
SB
That's pretty funny - we should thank them for the sneak preview.
