How were you able to confirm that Baxter is no longer with IR?
I've suspected something was up since he hasn't returned a couple of my emails and he was usually very prompt in returning my emails.

Scarlett said that the two drugs cover different indication and that the two drugs have very different molecular structures (obviously, iPlex has bp3 attached to IGF-1).
He also said something that I think Insmed should be very aware of, and that is that Increlex is the only drug approved for long term treatment. I wasn't aware that iPlex isn't or is that a misrepresentation on his part?
He mentioned that he listen to the INSM CC.
There was a two part question (not audable). He replied that he didn't like the question and he just made a bening comment.
Over all, I think that it wasn't a very good presentation and that most of the questions had to do with competetion vs. iPlex, which he tried to poo-poo the answers.

I would encourage everyone to listen to the Tercica presentation at the SG Cowen conference.
There were many questions (to my surprise) about iPlex as it relates to competetion for Increlex. and a couple of questions regarding the IP litigation of which, Mr. Scarlett didn't say much. Based on the questions that were asked, the investment community knows of INSM/Iplex but we just need a shot in the arm (some news) to propel us.

In my opinion that would be the complete wrong reason to re-hire someone.
If he was critical to the organization they should never have left him go but to let someone go at a very critical juncture company... I would never have hired him back. If he wasn't worth it then, he's not worth it now.

The info is correct as stated by IR, although, everything is relative when it comes to timelines.But, two websites coming according to IR in the near future and is my opinion that it will be before anything new on iPlex is released, such as market penetration, price and launch date etc.

Confirmed through IR that they are working on two seperate websites, one for INSMED the company and the other for iPlex the drug. Should be out fairly soon

Yes as INSM is currently constituted but there was a public company prior to merger called Celtrix and that was a higher pps.

I seem to remember reading some comments by Dr. Underwood that seemed to suggest that at the time he worked for DNA in IGF investigation, that the control mechanisms lacked credebility or something to that effect.

Maybe someone can chime in that remebers better.

I may be reading the situation wrong but I feel that the risk to the patent litigation is not as risky as say before FDA approval with full orphan status. My feeling is that the FDA has deemed iPlex somewhat different than Increlex. It will be interesting to see the review of approval proccess by the FDA. I think it will be telling in as much as where the FDA felt the merits for approval lay. Soon the FDA should release the review proccess on the MCM portion of the NDA and there I think will be revealed the crux to the patent issue. I'm not saying that TRCA will drop the case but we'll (learned persons in law)be able to handicap our chances.

I'd like to take this oppertunity to thank you for starting this new board and would like to say hello to all other longs that I see have joined. We're doing well right now and the future seems very bright but we do have quite a few hurdles left before I will jump up and down for joy. When you started investing in INSM(CLTX) at a price of $16.00 per share as I have and have been in it for almost a decade $2.38 per share just does not excite me much but the future does look promesing.
