I dunno it seems like they are saying good things to come.
Take a look at the GTXO way ahead statement on their last financial report. Looking forward to their next quarterly to get a better idea of that Verizon statement.
yeah less monies generated that i thought. I do not know if the recent filing includes the deal with verizon. it doesnt look like it so i look forward to the next 3 months.
I am curious about the recent win for GTXO against the unnamed company (Verizon) will do for the stock.
Still digging but I am 80% sure this involves INVTs own patent enforcement efforts on behalf of GTXO in regards to GPS tracking systems.
I also track GTXO to glean info on INVT.
You hit my concerns as well. Nothing makes much sense with how the company is currently being handled. Joe Beyers seems MIA. The company has gone completely silent. I should just try to use their services and see what happens.
The pricing seems incredibly suspect. To me it seems like really patient entities are grabbing as much as they can with setting the price off.
Either way the ITC verdict is slated for March 2020. From their the court case will go ahead full steam ahead. If Apple decides to settle now for over 50 - 100 million with future contract of any applicable patents that would be their cheapest option. Otherwise they risk 3 times that cost if it reaches judgement.
Apple's settlement with Qualcomm also exposed a lot of bad practices by Apple. The most egregious and perhaps the most entertaining is the purchase of IP patents to weakly argue that Qualcomm charges too much for royalties. Apple was basically saying that the chips Qualcomm offered, which were premium products, should not be as valued because they could get lesser products cheaper. When asked you owned those patents, Apple had to fess up. So in the court of public opinion it is less about patent trolls antagonizing a benevolent corporation like Apple, but more about legit patent holders getting their due. Disclosure long INVT.
Invt legal team reformatted complaint to hinge on ITC results. One patent complaint was retracted. long INVT
apple was hit by another patent infringement lawsuit involving LTE by a different company. Other than that I dunno.
search google for invt spe vs apple and click pacer website. Feb 11 Apple made a motion to seal. It wont show the docs unless you have pacer acess.
I am hoping that is the case. But it could also be for something trivial.
new motion to seal by Apple. I gotta get a pacer acct the suspense is killing me. I am hoping for a verdict this summer or fall.
This is going to be interesting. After that SOTU speech. Trump should be going hard on HTC and ZTE. Apple may get hit hard by association.
something that always bothered me was why didnt Bruce get into legal marijuana in the states it was legal? I am starting to lose my optimism on this whole venture but will wait it out on the next fiscal report.
till they show profits
I tried to do it with my bank they still halted me. Maybe it takes some time for the bank to be notified.
the only thing is there is some action woth the lawsuit. The one in US courts are awaiting ITC verdict. There was some modified complaints to account for the ITC complaint.
careful it is a trap. caution to all who are thinking of selling their positions. follow the pacer. it is getting good
litigation is such a drag. I was way too optimistic thinking a settlement was soon. but im in it to win it.
he did a misstep with apples forecast. but it was a cautious move. will he really get canned?
Good question. But there would have been a PR from INVT. maybe one pending.
Yeah I see where you are coming at. I can see China wanting to promote its own company over Apple. If they used INVT to make that move then that is pretty slick. Just wondering how invt benefits. Ok more interested on how we SHs benefit.
I wonder if Softbank has the cojones to take on Apple. They seem like frenemies at this point. Like invest in my 100 billion dollar tech fund then get sued by a company i just purchased.
whats this mean? IMO we got ppl patiently accruing shares on the cheap.
there wouldnt be any. but it isnt open for use yet.
I like the premise i really do. Im just skeptical of the execution.
I dont have access to pacer, but so far there has been a lot of movement. The documents show an amended complaint against all defendants.
i do want another good hemp stock to look into
Dont see too many real hemp market analysts as everyone is trying to see what the market actually is. They would usually set some metrics for everyone to base solid decisions on. But at this point if he shows break even or better then that would be amazing! Dont think he is there for another 1 to 2 years.
the whole market is wonky
Truth be told I never had a warm and fuzzy with this guy. He is not a good businessman but he is a good pioneer. Someone had to lay the groundwork for infrastructure and someone had to operate (even if it meant starting with kenaf) when most risk adverse, major companies were on the sidelines.
The best thing that can happen is he helps establishes the market. Then we can move forward with the money.
The HEMP financials are messy I won't argue that.
I am just doubtful that anyone can put on a con to the degree you outlined.
I mean it must be a huge risk reward scenario if it is a con. He would setting himself in a mansion in a country that doesn't allow for extradition.
He is the king of hemp not the king of profits. He is working to be the latter. Like everyone in this newly legal venture.
FDA is not a concern. They did want to remind people that CBD is still a drug to stem the flow of CBD products from entering the market. But they will sort this out, probably can fast track it if CBD had as many lobbyists as big tobacco had. Oh wait that's where Mitch McConnell will step in.
That is a misleading statement.
Although no one is sure what the financial arrangements between HEMP and the growers are in Medford, Oregon, there has been a tremendous amount of hemp plants grown and harvested specifically for cbd extraction.
The NC operation seems more focused on the industrial hemp or kenaf but I don't know the specifics between suppliers and processors.
Either way as time goes on and more harvests happen the hemp market is starting to get more defined. So we may get a good answer on how much a farmer can make of an acre of industrial hemp or from greenhouse production of more cbd specific hemp.
Yeah but i would rather him use the money elsewhere. The industry is gonna be rough at this juncture. What he buys back at most 20 million shares with 3 billion outstanding. Just get some increased revenue that will raise the price better.
I don't quite understand the buy back and think it is unnecessary. Just show some bigger profits BP. Show me the money!
Man i can we give this man BP some time to earn some money now that his product is legal. Every other company is given time in an emerging market.
That is good news. Best for SEC and HEMP to move on. SEC made their point.
Financials have to pick up. Gag order has to be removed. The moon shot would be listing on NASDAQ
The FDA announcement was a punk move just to scare off risk adverse big companies that don't want to be involved in anything unless all i's are dotted and t's crossed.
Just pissed me off. Dont fuel the trolls.
I was skeptical and concerned because that kind of drivel was on my major news feed.
