Maybe between $ 0.08 and $ 0.11 by the end of the week. What do you think?
Did I dream or if there are pre-market transactions at $ 0.099 ??
Wow. Several stocks were down today, it seems generalized in the market ... and despite this, ASTI finished up 12%! Wow! 619 million shares sold!
Are we going to exit the $ 0.0x tomorrow?
Doc, when the stock hits $ 0.30, remind me to ask for your mailing address so I can send you a nice bottle of champagne!
See what's going on right now with SIRC. I sold this morning at $ 1.26 being very happy with my win ... I will not make the same mistake with ASTI!
Remember, ASTI has accumulated over $ 300 million in tax losses over the past few years.
In the future, when ASTI has profits from operations, these accumulated tax losses will be used to save almost $ 25 million in taxes!
It seems unlikely to me that the shareholders would choose to wind up the company and lose the $ 25 million.
LOL! If I had a crystal ball, I would have bought more for 0.0001!
Since 2016 I have bought some at several different prices and unfortunately too many before the last different splits ... so today despite buying at 0.0001 I have an average cost of around 0.008.
Imagine, considering splits, the first shares I bought from ASTI would have cost me 600$/share today!
Optimism, I agree. But disinformation and propaganda is not helpful on this board.
When I repeatedly read comments like: "for sure tomorrow the stock will hit X $", without new information or rational analysis, I tend to fall into irony ...
How much is ASTI really worth? No one knows. How will the share move next week? Same answer.
On the other hand, some people buy and others sell. It is therefore normal to ask questions about the reasons behind their decisions.
Personally, I own a few tens of millions of shares purchased in recent years, some at $ 0.0001.
At $ 0.0001 even for 18,000,000,000 shares (value of $ 1.8M), I thought it was undervalued compared to ASTI's patents and its potential.
At $ 0.10 a share (worth $ 1.8 billion), I have serious doubts.
But at $ 0.008 or $ 0.01 or $ 0.02, maybe more, why not ...
On this point, I do not entirely agree with Atlanta1. It is true that there is no guarantee but TubeSolar still decided to invest $ 2.5M in it (regardless of the value and the number of shares).
Rare are the companies that have $ 2.5M to lose.
So, probably TubeSolar must believe in ASTI.
I believe in it too ... but at what value ... that's the whole question.
TubeSolar's exact words are: "TubeSolar AG will in future hold approximately 15 percent of the share capital of Ascent Solar
Technologies, Inc"
...in future...
These are the words TubeSolar uses.
OK, so the "Float" would be the total of shares traded in the stock market as opposed to private shares ...
So I don't understand why some say that the value of ASTI should be divided only by the "Float".
The value of ASTI belongs as much to private shareholders as to public shareholders!
The real question is: How much is Ascent Solar Technologies worth, regardless of the number of shares?
Ok but TubeSolar is not in reorganization. They actually invested $ 2,500,000 for 15%. So, they did their own calculations.
To them, the value of ASTI now is $ 17,000,000. We agree?
Maybe it's my understanding of the word "Float" which is bad because English is not my first language.
In French, there are:
Outstanding shares (actions en circulation)
and
Authorized actions (actions autorisées)
Outstanding shares = shares issued and held by shareholders (private + market)
For ASTI, it's 18,000,000,000.
Authorized shares = Maximum shares that the company could issue.
For ASTI it's 20,000,000,000.
In this context, what is the "Float"? Could you be more precise?
Crowdex has invested $ 5.5M for 91.4% of ASTI.
Same calculation:
$ 5,500,000 / 18,000,000,000 = $ 6M
So according to Crodex, the value of ASTI is $ 6M.
For 18,000,000,000 shares, that's a value of $ 0.0003 by share.
If the figure of 18,000,000,000 is wrong in my calculations, which figure should I use?
TubeSolar has invested $ 2.5M for 15% of the company. TubeSolar therefore considers ASTI to be worth: $ 17,000,000 ($ 2,500,000 / 0.15)
With 18,000,000,000 shares in circulation, this gives $ 0.0009 / share according to TubeSolar's calculations
It's correct?

Thank you for your answer. The decline in income ... what a drop in income? I agree that revenues so far have not been sufficient in relation to expenses, but the annual revenues between 2013, 2014 and 2015 have increased ...
Poor management, maybe, I grant it to you because I do not personally know the whole team in place.
For massive dilution, no relationship. It affects the price of the title but it has nothing to do with the real business.
Again, the fall in share price and dilution is a shame for us shareholders, but does not affect the strength of ASTI ... unless ASTI needs enormous capital to finish its projects. As of 20 million for example ..
I do not understand those who are crying out for bankruptcy. What is it based on?
The price of the stock is low ... and then it has nothing to do with the survival or not of the company.
Those who shout that sales are insufficient are already beginning to be more logical, but from the moment when the issuance of shares and debt allows to keep the company on flo, there is no reason to worry of bankruptcy.
It is true that if ASTI continues spending without income, one day it will touch down ... but I would be very surprised that we go there, not with the recent news.
You're not alone TravO!
Thumb up!
Are you really worried about the future of ASTI because the website is in maintenance? Really?
It's pretty minor as a problem.
Being worried about the level of liquidity is more reasonable. With 20 million to come, this problem is no longer a problem. The real question is: Will ASTI get one or more big contracts? No one, at least no one in this board, has the answer to that question. On the other hand, the signs are strongly favorable.
It's crazy money will be invested in this area. $ 900,000,000 !!!

Like what? Positive or negative? Can you explain your idea?
Given the sale of Enerplex, changes are certainly necessary on the site of ASTI.
Unless it is a sign of bankruptcy !!! It's a joke, I'm not a fan of conspiracy theory!
I still do not understand your point. If the other companies of Victor funding ASTI with debt en equity, it is again money that goes into the bank account of ASTI and not the money coming out of ASTI.
How does money come out of ASTI to go into "other pockets of Victor"?
That's true, but ASTI will continue to sell the solar panels to be integrated into the different products. ASTI develops and manufactures solar panels, its core business. The manufacture of backpacks and plastic cases is not a value-added operation. I understand the decision to have sold Enerplex.
Personally, I would have preferred that they remain proprietor of the brand and subcontract the entire manufacturing to China. But if they chose to sell the entire trademark, they probably had other projects on the fire.
They did not sell Enerplex because he needed the $ 1.3M ... they sold it because they had other more interesting projects on which to concentrate their efforts and capital.
Ok but we are on March 2 which means that as of today, ASTI may not have issued more than 2 billion shares ....
If, as of March 16, ASTI issues 18 billion additional shares, it will mean 3 things:
1- There are still many investors who will believe in the potential of ASTI to invest more money.
2- ASTI will obtain additional liquidity for the development of its projects.
3- ASTI will be able to repay its debts with share capital, which is much less risky.
You always repeat "Victor keeps moving money from one of his pockets to the other"
Can you explain with a concrete example? Let's follow the money ... the cash is obtained with the issuance of new shares and are deposited in the bank account of ASTI. Then where does the money go ...? Explain to me the rest of the operation ...
Another article : Read this too
It sound good. Read this : Military and solar power
Study : insert-text-here. Somebody bought it?
After spending as many millions to develop such a high-performance technology, it is not by making batteries or backpacks that ASTI will make a fortune. The sale of Enerplex is a good decision to concentrate efforts on the manufacture of solar panel for specialized uses.
Small news after small news, ASTI consolidates its price before letting go a big news (a big contract, a scientific breakthrough, a major partnership, etc.) to have a greater impact on the price. Victor has not made the loan conversion for anything, he is just like us and will want to take advantage of the big raise of the title.
Imagine, 20 million and without Enerplex ... something big is getting ready!
ASTI will continue to grow, slowly or rapidly, with declines and highs, but it will go up well in the coming months.
Another GREEN DAY... slowly but surely!
And the market reacts positively to every little news. Clearly an indication that I am not the only one to anticipate a big news.
