Maybe...I'm just looking at the glass half full instead of half empty. I'm hoping Friedman really is gone Jan 1st and things start to turn things around here with some "real" news in 2019. Neither one of us know for sure so ease up.
You're the one who posted it. Not me. It's old news. They need to start 2019 off and running with some news that's not total BS.
That release was 2 weeks ago. It should have his stamp on it. The new interim CEO doesn't take over until Jan 1st.
"everybody" .ha ha. Even a few that hold this at a loss and have a gain in another stock can off set it....and that volume can affect the stock price.
3 more days for tax loss selling (although I think the majority is done). Then maybe we start something in January. New interim CEO has to begin turning the ship around and release some actual revenue producing projects.
Maybe...you have a nice Christmas Steady. I actually mean that.
Maybe in penny stocks...first one taking a flyer in. Been a pretty successful investor though after a 30+ career and raising 3 successful kids. Been married to the same woman 40 years also. I'm not a bad person and not your enemy. Frustrating in penny land though.
Been investing for 40 years and have listened to and participated in countless calls. You don't know who will ask a question..especially if one day they do end up on a better exchange. This stock is just a toy...lighten up.
The calls haven't even taken place yet. What the f%&k is your problem? Why so miserable constantly? D%&*...it's a penny stock. Why do you take such joy out of spreading misery. You must be a pleasure to live with. Turn over a new leaf in 2019.
I know that. I posted the news at 4pm yesterday. I was talking about the lack of news today on hemp and the impact on that industry.
Now how would I know who will ask questions in a monthly call. The "so called" conference calls are from the 8K filed last week (2nd agreement down) -
Exhibit A to Board and Employment Agreement
As the Chief Executive Officer, President and as a member of the Board of Directors, you shall:
• Participate in the daily operations of the Company as CEO and President;
• Participate in monthly calls, which will last no more than 1 hour;
• Participate in one annual full day retreat per calendar year; and
• Be accessible to Company to provide guidance on business and technology strategy issues, including patents, business strategy, business alliances, advice and business development.
Don't crow too quick.
All the news today involves the shut down of the gov't. No news yet on hemp or it's impact. I think you see hemp stocks in play in 2019 once it becomes legal in January. Meanwhile tax loss selling continues. Unless the new management takes advantage of the hemp play with some revenue producing news in January, we remain in the toilet. Either this is a golden buying opportunity or just more of the same here.
TRUMP SIGNS THE FARM BILL!!! 4 pm
Live feed on Farm Bill signing (hemp legalization is THIS close). Click on the white arrow -
https://www.wfmz.com/news/cnn-national/live-trumpfarm-bill-signing/942615252
I doubt you see .035 that quick. Another 10 days of tax loss selling yet to go. Maybe in a few months once the new interim CEO gets things going and Friedman leaves Dec 31st. I think a rebound starts soon though. Any "real" news from the company could change things in a hurry.
"I don't see the purpose of posting a link to the passing of the Farm Bill on AGTK"s board . Their (there) has been no true relevance thus far. So what is the purpose??"
They still own the land in Colorado (80 acres), Puerto Rico (25000 sq ft), and others that was supposed to be developed for hemp. Plans have been in limbo with Friedman as CEO but with him out and the new interim CEO with financing connections and connections with other marijuana companies, maybe they finally get some legs.
The Farm Bill includes a provision to make hemp legal in the US and taken off being a schedule 1 drug (same as heroin).
There's your connection.
So begin your normal bashing.
Sounds like Trump signs the Farm Bill sometime tomorrow. Maybe a big splash at the White House -
"Lawmakers expect President Donald Trump to sign the farm bill legislation Thursday even though it excludes Republican priorities Trump supported such as changes to food stamps.
Senate Agriculture Chairman Pat Roberts of Kansas and ranking member Debbie Stabenow of Michigan plan to be at the White House, though the former said Tuesday that he doesn’t have a time or any details.
The House adopted the House-Senate conference report by a lopsided vote of 369-47 last week, a day after the Senate had approved the legislation 87-13."
It is "interim". Initial 6 month term so it sounds like that term could be renewed or maybe Mundie ends up with the job. Anyway, he has 6 months to use his connections to get things moving. At least there's hope and we're not left for dead as in the previous few months. This from the 8K filing -
"In connection with Mr. Mundie’s appointment as Interim Chief Executive Officer of the Company, on December 12, 2018, the Company entered into an Employment and Board of Directors Agreement (the “Employment Agreement”) with Mr. Mundie, pursuant to which Mr. Mundie will serve as Interim Chief Executive Officer for an initial six- month term."
Ross - I wasn't planning to buy any more shares but it sounds like the new CEO is off and running. When he said the filing will allow Agritek to return to the OTCQB once the common stock trades above .01, I jumped. It would have to trade at a penny or more for 30 days or more before they could apply to relist at the better exchange. CEO must have something in the works.
I just put an order in to buy 30000 at .007 and I immediately checked to see if it was put in properly and it was already filled at .0065. Geez...never had an order filled so fast.
mojo - Did you buy back in? How's that property look in Puerto Rico? Any updates you can provide? This new CEO sounds like he's not waiting for Friedman's departure Jan 1st to get the ball rolling.
“Additionally, with the arbitration behind us, we can immediately begin to monetize the assets of the Company that have remained dormant during this process in which former management was not completely free to raise funds by the court and was limited to spending both equity and funds on existing assets without going through a judicial process. I am happy to report we can now move forward freely with what I believe can be substantial assets and new funding partners friendly to the company that I expect will have an immediate, and positive effect on our common market over the short term with the passing of the 2018 Hemp Farm Bill and continue our upward trend,” further stated Mundie."
Hemp hasn't received much publicity yet with this Farm Bill. I think that changes once Trump signs it into law this week. Hemp will be removed from a schedule 1 drug and become legal in the US on January 1st. I believe we will see a run up for hemp stocks heading toward Jan. 1st once he signs it into law. If Agritek can partner with another firm with deeper pockets in developing some of this hemp land, Agritek can have a very good 2019. This new CEO is supposed to have connections in the marijuana field. Just waiting for Trump to sign it sometime this week (fingers crossed).
"this agtk is supposed to be trading around .03-.04 instantly by now!!."
Steady - even I have to laugh.
I had put in an order before the market opened to sell that block of 600000 shares for .0089 I bought the other day at .0032. I just cancelled it. I'm afraid it might get filled and it was to expire at the end of the day. I don't really know what will happen here...none of us do. I know that news reports are now claiming Trump will sign the Farm Bill next week. I think that is when you will see other mj stocks gap higher....maybe Agritek too. The Farm Bill isn't official yet and hemp legalization won't get the big publicity until Trump signs it. I'm sure Trump will want to make a big splash when signing it to gain some needed good publicity.
https://www.agweb.com/article/president-trump-expected-to-sign-farm-bill-next-week/
I actually bought 600000 at .0032 the other day.
Well you just have a ball laughing your a%# off. Meanwhile the stock is up from .0017 to .0057 in one week. Have a good weekend.

You know what? You will be able to ask all your questions to the CEO directly soon during monthly calls.
This was from their news release 2 days ago. If you have trouble with reading comprehension, read it again...real....slow -
“This most important legislation in favor of our industry couldn’t come at a more opportunistic time for Agritek Holdings. New management is now poised to take advantage of the roads paved in Colorado by former management to execute on present contracts being negotiated with biomass production and the expansion of our existing brands MD Vapes, Hemp Pops and raw material produced by our farming partners,” stated a spokesperson for Agritek Holdings."
What do you mean do some DD. The 8K that was filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission says he is leaving at the end of the year. I doubt you can just lie to the SEC.
Here's another thing that's new for the new CEO (from the 8K) -
"As the Chief Executive Officer, President and as a member of the Board of Directors, you shall:
Participate in monthly calls, which will last no more than 1 hour;"
So analysts and shareholders get to listen to a conference call and ask questions for up to an hour each month. When did Friedman ever do something like this? We never knew what was going on. Now their business plan better have some wheels since one of the new CEO's obligations states "shall participate in monthly calls". That doesn't sound like a maybe. Sounds like a part of his employment obligations.
You're still living in the past and can't let Friedman go. None of us know (including you) what the new company will look like under new management or what their plan is. What if this new CEO can come up with financing? He has in the past according to his bio.
While you are enjoying yourself bashing, the stock has risen from .0017 to .0057 in one week so knock yourself out. I said they had "potential products". It's been illegal up to now to ship them. We won't know their new business plan under a new CEO for awhile.
These comments are all taken from the 8K filed Weds. -
"I believe that time has now come for the company start anew, with a new spirit and experienced leadership to better respond to challenges arising from our rapidly changing industry.
I have appreciated the opportunity to serve on the Company’s board and wish you and the Company the best as you continue to move forward with initiatives the company is pursuing.
Best regards,
B. Michael Friedman

Having access to banking has been a major barrier for small marijuana businesses in the past even in states that legalized marijuana. This Farm Bill removes those banking restrictions. The new interim CEO has experience in financing for small marijuana businesses in the past.... and now Agritek will have access to banking which was illegal before this Farm Bill. The below article today explains many benefits and they all relate to Agritek's potential hemp land holdings and hemp products such as -
https://www.agritekholdings.com/brands/#hemp-pops.
The CBD Hemp market expected to grow from $350 million to $1 Billion by 2020. Agritek has the potential to pick up a share of that growth already having products ready to go. Agritek also has the land in Colorado and Puerto Rico ready to be developed. The new CEO is supposed to have many connections in the marijuana field and who knows where those can lead? Here's the article -
"As Vox’s German Lopez notes, the move toward hemp legalization is less about removing the stigma of cannabis than about the economic benefits of legalizing marijuana. Hemp’s legalization will give farmers a major opportunity with a new and friendly crop. According to Leafly, the hemp plant “detoxifies the soil and prevents soil erosion,” and it “requires much less water to grow — and no pesticides — so it is much more environmentally friendly than traditional crops.”
According to Lopez, “farmers face several barriers to growing hemp due to federal prohibition — including restricted access to banking, water rights, and crop insurance. The bill removes these restrictions, putting the US Department of Agriculture and state agencies in charge of regulations.” Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, who pushed for the bill, believes hemp could replace cash crops like tobacco in his home state of Kentucky.
The opportunity isn’t just for farmers. The DEA’s lackadaisical approach to CBD helped the CBD industry sell about $350 million worth of products last year, and experts believe it will easily hit $1 billion in sales by 2020. Hemp’s legalization will likely spur this growth and could help shed light on the poorly regulated industry."
Here is what Trump said 2 days ago about the Farm Bill before the Senate and House voted on it -
President Trump says the Farm Bill is in good shape
"The Farm Bill is moving along nicely and I guess they'll be voting on Friday or so but pretty close. And we think the Farm Bill is in very good shape. A lot of good things are happening with it and our farmers are well taken care of. And again that'll be quite bipartisan. And it will happen pretty soon." -President Trump
He has 10 days to sign or veto it. Sounds like it is a done deal.
Ross - looking good early. 26 million shares the first 45 minutes. We have to get this wave of profit taking out of the way now. May move higher later. I'll feel better once Trump signs the Farm Bill.
"New management is now poised to take advantage of the roads paved in Colorado by former management to execute on present contracts......"
Notice - NEW MANAGEMENT
NEWS!!!
https://finance.yahoo.com/news/agritek-holdings-inc-applauds-passing-140000170.html
"Agritek Holdings will be part of the first groups to benefit from this landmark decision, inclusive of farmers and the states where hemp has already been legislated and identified as a crop with incredible potential to be monetized the raw material and hemp products. Next, are the companies that stand to benefit from focusing their product lines on hemp-derived CBD, which AGTK already producing products can now legally ship nationally.
8k says in part -
"There is no family relationship between Mr. Mundie and any director or executive officer of the Company or any person nominated or chosen to become a director or executive officer of the Company."
"Mr. Mundie, 31, has extensive experience providing advisory services to the Cannabis industry. He has advised both privately and publicly held Canadian and U.S. companies. He has forged relationships with many of the industry's key figures during his time in the sector. Mr. Mundie graduated with a Bachelor's degree from the University of British Columbia."
Now if only Mr. Mundie can pull a rabbit out of a hat.....
