ISIL moving back up (DVD/video), but perhaps price back into 28 area where it 'corrected'
Most indicators are simply derivatives of price and volume. Add a couple MAs and stoch. and get used to reading charts w/o all that jazz. Simplify

VIX's best use IMO is when trending and then spiking. Flatlines beget flatlines.
QLGC ramps and declines often defy logic, like Tues decline on no news while Market up. Often leads the overall Naz
SNDK 62% retrace from big gap up would be about 32. 38% would be around 39. Fib. often works wonders w/ momentum plays
SNDK mucho open interest on July calls out there. With exp. this week, will be interesting!
SNDK earnings Wed, along w/ QLGC. SNDK super surprise from lsat Q may be factored in already? Perhaps they all are..

MSFT. Right. If the generals don't participate, either this market is due for a correction, or a run when they do.
Greetings from Kauai! QLGC core long hanging nicely. North end of island much nicer than South, IMO. PM me for details. See y'all on Monday.
WIND their RTOS costs OEMs to license, Linux does not. Time to market not as important now, giving OEMs time to develop RT linux for their widgits. WIND blows
BRCD is the culprit. QLGC, ELX trading down in sympathy
QLGC- Jenna Did you take a long position or stalking the short? You mentioned you did not want ant techs overnight.
Gap fill. yes many stocks and market provided the '38.2%' retracement entry point today, which was right about the gap fill on SPY among others. Right out of that textbook of yours!
I post frequently in the room mostly for my own edification. With all the thoughts swirling during a market day, I find it useful to document the ones I feel 'rise to the top'. to then check back for accuracy, to continue my analysis development.
Ultimately, one is responsible for one's own trades or lack thereof. The exchange of the trading Brethren is invaluable and a gift
QLGC announced FY earnings release Apr. 29.
http://biz.yahoo.com/bw/030421/215747_1.html
Which is the first time I recall them getting them in before May. So perhaps the anticipation can now be measured. We recall that QLGC numbers were good last Q, but apparently were priced into the stock. Calls perhaps?
NCEN reports 16 Apr. strong chart could get stronger. PE and PEG are less than industry/sector avg.
Earnings have been good as well
Or QLGC shorts running for cover
ERTS while it has rallied nicely, looks like it's right back to an area of supply (on the daily), where it sold off. other internet bellweathers look extended but strong.
Negatively correlated Bond funds. trying to find. Anyone know any? Could be a nice way for some non-stock money.
please provide the link!
How 'bout PNRA? see much downside left here?
UAG- awful chart, but recent green with earnings Wed. Perhaps a squeeze could develope with a surprise as a lower float, big short interest, lower vol. blah blah.
PUMA-this cat's chart shows plenty of AU. Earnings Wed.
normally don't watch these dollar stocks, but with many insiders
buying, albeit much cheaper, it got my interest.
Perhaps all the insiders have the cash to buy after they sold at 80-100!
INTL beat by .02, but revenue missed consensus.

AH down slightly. Not much AU going into report (daily). Not that expensive a stock:

I'm interested 'cuz a friend used to work there. No endorsment, 'cept for a watch.
Anyone recommend another *stock* thread? I find it difficult to find any reasonable stock market discussion thru the increased noise. How many Must Read gold postings are enuf?
NDN- missed the earnings of this culty retail blimp. Therefore missed the down move today. However earnings seemed decent, but blowout expected at high PE, so down she goes. Follow thru watch for me.
Fun store to shop, they keep expanding as well w/ no debt.
INSP beats by $0.12, believe it or not file ;)
That 10:1 reverse split works in a way.
ELX vs. QLGC new products announced
QLGC does 160k I/Os/sec

MCDTA beat up AH, while ELX was positive AH. QLGC got punished though for a similar report to ELX. Go figure.
Even more amazing is to sell at the top!
X- US steel appears overbought, but nice volume. 60min on 20MA support now. Gapped up on upgrade.
Could it be that US industry is on the move? Dare I mention this here??
X- US steel appears overbought, but nice volume. 60min on 20MA support now. Gapped up on upgrade.
MCHP- appears a climactic buy after selloff. Earnings Jan. 23 (along with many others WDC, VRSN, GNSS, OVRL, EPNY..)
but MCHP *still* appears overvalued. Possible bounce here though, just on the TA.
