Yes, when Fleming sold off, and then bolted, the door closed. That guy is a piece of work.

Why do I feel Ike he’s laughing at shareholders with that smile? Er, smirk.
Hope you didn’t get hit on this. It was definitely intriguing, but I never bought in. Amazes me (and doesn’t amaze me - they’re all the same form of grifter) that he dumped and then left. He doesn’t even have an actual law office anymore, from what I’ve searched of him. Takes all kinds. Be well.
Thanks for that.
You know, the Ford investment in Rivian was interesting. I’m trying to figure if it was two companies engaged in a symbiotic (parasitic?) relationship. Was Ford looking to grab info on EV production from Rivian? And did Rivian let Ford in early as an investor because they couldn’t find cash elsewhere?
Ford has had some really good CFO’s. They leveraged all their properties when rates were really low and the financial crash occurred, so that they avoided government money. Then, they sold off Rivian at a decent level; not at the top, but at a good profit. They needed the cash, probably got the info they needed, and moved on, but Rivian got the start-up cash they needed, along with, possibly, some valuable input on production from Ford.
It’s going to be interesting to see how this all plays out in the next few years. Oil will be interesting too, as EV’s ramp up and people are going crazy for solar right now, as well.
Take care and good luck.
Yes, and I think Tesla cars no longer qualify for the EV credits because they’ve exceeded the limit, but Rivian does, so it’s a good incentive - totally agree about the chip issue.
Yeah, that's true. Seeing more and more of them. Spoke to one guy that has 3, lol. He paid like 100 grand for each one, but said he wouldn't hesitate to do it again.
They got rid of the useless Tesla guy and brought over that manufacturing expert who left a great Company (can't recall the name). They were shocked he left them hanging, but he's doing a great job with Rivian.
I was figuring 25-26 was the bottom. A lot of momentum here right now and with Musk jerking around in too many different directions, he left an opening it looks like they're moving through well.
Hope you got in early enough. Don't think it's too late, though.
I love when foreigners pretend they understand how the U.S. government works. It’s like those looking to incite from “Sky News Australia.”
Brand is only speaking for the attention because he’s a has-been, a horrible actor, with zero talent, who is no longer employable, so he needs a platform and he’s found his own group of idiots that buy into his garbage.
A lot of Republicans are bad, just like a lot of Dems, but either way, it’s very difficult to disagree with her because she’s 100% right. Even his long time accountants quit on him. Hopefully, it’s a matter of time before he fully implodes.
And he’s no “Republican.” He’s an extremist and an anarchist. I despise that Biden called his followers “MAGA Republicans.” They’re not “Republicans.” True Republicans respect democracy. They want it their way, but not using the takedown of democracy as a goal. That’s extremism and anarchy - totally unrelated to “Republican ideologies.”
If Reagan were alive, he’d have destroyed Trump in any debate. He’s got to be spinning in his grave right now. Reagan would have NEVER commended Putin in what he’s doing, like Trump did. There’d be a serious Cold War going on right now where Putin would be fearful of Reagan. Trump and Putin are comrades, with Putin holding the upper hand on Trump.
Hey, just an FYI, and I’m not being combative, but I got that info from someone in law enforcement. You don’t have to believe me, and I wouldn’t blame you if you didn’t, as there are too many falsehoods out there that people are beginning to decide even the truth is false.
Crazy times. Good communicating with you.
You can’t get more biased than to be in business with someone, who, if found guilty of a crime, or their reputation seriously damaged, isn’t going to affect your own interest in an investment no visitor will want to visit.
It’s also why, I’m sure, Rettig also refused to release Trump’s tax returns. Those properties he omitted, and the income (likely, “losses” - heh, hey, yeah “losses”) are on those tax returns, since he’s a partner in those entities. If those tax returns, and those properties are underreporting income (likely), then as an attorney (let alone a tax atty), Rettig could be found complicit in that fraud because he certainly couldn’t testify, “I had no idea!” Not going to deny it makes you wonder about the rest of Congress and what is on their tax returns versus what they actually make in grift and otherwise and there’s a LOT of them who are “questionable” from BOTH parties. There are VERY few running “for the people.” It’s more like, “for the grift.”
To me, the whole “crash” of that Trump helicopter years ago says it all when he bailed on flying with his top execs - at the last minute. It was right after that, that the work stoppage at the “Taj Mahal” casino restarted. “Union influence”? Nah, couldn’t be. He was tipped off and bailed and sacrificed them. He was in bed with organized crime - casinos, unions…Nah, couldn’t be.
https://www.newsweek.com/donald-trump-lied-about-almost-dying-helicopter-crash-1451963
Can’t believe people keep buying his garbage and rhetoric and that he’s “one of them.” Those “one of them” he’d put in his helicopter seat without blinking an eye, and he’d laugh about it, too.
I didn’t like Obama and his BS rhetoric, but the Capitol thing should have resulted in his arrest. A sitting President inciting an insurrection and attack of the Capitol and Capitol police (the same people they allegedly “back”) didn’t result in his arrest? Those Capitol police saved a lot of people that day, while either being killed, seriously injured, or committing suicide. They should get a day of honor each January 6th that they defended and saved the Capitol, along with the National Guard, after a sitting President incited that mob. The “Commander-in-Chief” could have called in the military that day and stopped it, but instead incited and condoned it.
Run Josh Hawley, run, you coward. They talk big, but wouldn’t hesitate to see their followers sacrifice themselves, while stepping over their dead bodies, with no regard at all.
If Congress had any brains, or concern, they’d draft legislation to make sure that never happens again. That was ALL PLANNED.
And if Biden knew how to politic, he wouldn’t call them “MAGA Republicans,” he’d leverage saying they’re not from any party, they’re “extremists” that Reagan would be mortified to think they were of his party and Biden can add in that he worked with Reagan and that he believes the parties can work together again (even if that’s untrue because people buy BS, but one never knows) and he can add in that he liked Reagan and that Reagan would NEVER have called an election a “lie” or gave a speech to incite a Capitol attack. Biden is missing the mark on that stuff.
He’s got two years to right the ship. I think the Judge did the right thing appointing that “Master” because Trump can never say he didn’t get a fair shot after asking for the Master, although you know that next he’ll say the Master was either “incompetent” or “biased” if the Master sides with the DofJ.
Time will tell. Be well.
There’s some kind of weird thing where it’s difficult to oust them prior to the expiration of their 5 year terms - i.e., Dejoy and Rettig.
Keeping Powell was a miss, though, too. I think Powell has a different type of term, though.
I had the links in there. He lied at his confirmation hearing about having an interest in Trump properties.
Well, add in that the “Evil FBI” is run by a Trump appointee after he had Comey annexed (and subject to an outrageous IRS tax audit usually reserved for the wealthiest and those accused of massive tax fraud).
https://www.newsweek.com/who-appointed-christopher-wray-fbi-director-under-fire-trump-raid-1732951
https://www.politico.com/news/2022/07/07/irs-comey-mccabe-audits-00044521
And then that the “Evil IRS,” with all these “gun-toting” agents are coming after ordinary taxpayers, when the head of the IRS that pushed for this money after the IRS had their budget cut by 26% over the last decade, was a Trump appointee - Charles Rettig.
These people just ignore facts. Can’t change them and they don’t want to believe anything, but the ridiculous falsehoods put forth. And, as status quo, Rettig is a liar and a thief (perfect Trump ally) that Biden will, unfortunately, probably keep on, although I hope he cuts him loose when his term expires in November.

So, if all of these “fake” accounts, and related information, is “so easy to find,” why did Musk sign a LOI? If this is true, either he, or his advisors, are idiots. It’s not that, though, he’s a petulant child always seeking attention.
The courts aren’t on his side and neither is this deal. He’s going to lose. He’s wasting time on nonsense. He’s a grifter. The others are going to start catching up to Tesla as he wastes his time on bullshit like Twitter. His next diversion will only cause Tesla shareholders more aggravation.
His Twiitter “buy” was all bullshit and the courts, and most people of even average intelligence, can see he put his hand in the fire and got burned. He may wise up and settle, though.
No, not anxious. Risk is minimal for 1,300. If anyone is anxious for $1,300, they need to lock themselves in the closet and throw away the key!
I just started some “DD” lol, but Seymour Liebman is actually Exec VP and Gen Counsel for Canon, an NYSE company and he’s a board member. Sone of these characters just know how to make money, even if it’s a short-term pop. I’m starting to think of going back in based on what I’m seeing.
Also, the Monday report, FWIW, is of some interest, as it gives the market a whole week to digest the numbers. The last time they reported on a Monday was a year ago, so it is of some interest. Hmmm…
Thanks for the tip! Good luck with it, too!
I know you said you were thinking you were going to sell, but I just read about their CEO. He left Chembo and the stock went in the sewer, but while he was there, it hit 16.00. The "unique genius" thing, though, is a little over the top, but whatever.
https://www.johnsperzel.com/about
I'm thinking this might be worth a shot. Even just 10,000 shares for 1,300 is nothing. I'm digging in to the rest of the execs now. Thanks for the tip. Good luck with it.
Interesting. Should sell then.
If it's Einhorn, he doesn't make 50-50 bets.
Interesting info, thanks.
Sold it a while ago. Still in this? Sorry to see that! I wonder if Eloan Ponzi owns some, lol!
Haha, this was REALLY FUNNY! THANK YOU!!! Lol!
Here, I thought you’d get a kick out of these. They crack people up!
P.S. Even in the EXTREMELY UNLIKELY event Ponzi Boy “wins,” he beat a shitty company. Wow, what a “win.” He’s hoping to lose, though, to a loser company that will only help Twitter. He’s so full of himself - I mean, just look at the size of that guy and build. Maybe he can use Bezos’s trainer, lol.
We agree on a lot more than you thought! But Hawley was just running off to save the world!
OK, the truth from deleted secret service texts is that his panties were too tight in that suit and he wanted to change into his evening gown, although there’s also the rumor his Mom was calling him home for dinner, but I refuse to believe that because no one that acts like that would want to see their child again.
Eloan Ponzi Musky after receipt of SECOND DofJ subpoena…
Hey, why didn’t they disclose they got it on JUNE 13!?!?!?! Because they’re going to have to deal with subpoenas on Twitter, too! Heh…heh…heh…
Well, what he lacks mentally, one can be sure he’s making up for physically…err, check that, lol. A shitty company like Twitter is going to win against this DOPE! Who woulda thunk it???
ANYONE saw this coming…put his hand in the fire, he’s getting BURNED!!! His 12 yo assistant helped him aim it the right way in this photo, but he tried to do it himself, turned it the wrong way this time! The photos are too gruesome from when he turned it the wrong way!
Who cares about Twitter? It’s useless. All social media is dumb. That’s why Eloan Ponzi wanted to “buy” it, because he’s a DUMMY…oh yeah, because he’s an attention seeker who’s going to turn everything he touches to shit. It’s just a matter of time…he’s a fraud assisted by Baracko…without him laying out the cash for Ponzi Eloan, there is no Tesla and now it’s facing growing competition while Tesla is forced to deal with a CEO who smokes WAY TOO MUCH weed and gets them served with subpoenas for insider trading and stock manipulation.
He’s going to crash and burn. Surprising, in a way, because he’s a picture of physical, and mental, health…heh…heh…heh…just kidding, if he doesn’t die from a stroke or heart attack, he’ll just lose his mind. He needs to smoke LOTS more weed, so he can make even DUMBER decisions. Glad you agree!
RAPIDLY deteriorating!!! Lol! Weed and now THIS!!!
He's ALREADY lost HIS MIND!!! Now he's PHYSICALLY FALLING APART TOO! Sad to see a person losing their mind to the point of DELUSION, he kept playing in the fire, so now he's CRASHING and BURNING!!!
Well, I hope he gets the help he needs, so they don't need to haul him away. He might be just better off committed to an institution now before he does more damage to himself...It's all beginning to IMPLODE! KA-BOOOOMMMM!!!
Everyone, saw this coming, though...heh heh heh
Lol, Musk is NOT interested in "free speech." It's HIS version of free speech, which only works if it's under HIS control. You want "free speech" under a guy that looks like this?...Lol, no. His "Occupy Mars" shirt is clearly a double entendre that he wants control. He's going down, though. It's just a matter of time before his grift is figured out. He's grifted Obama and onward. It's out there and not "fake news." He needs to squelch the truth, so he can continue his lies ("buying Twitter" is just the most recent one) and his needs for selfish attention. He NEVER intended to buy Twitter. He just want to spin his falsehoods, get attention, and thought he would walk away with no repercussions, but most saw through his falsehoods. The courts did, as a start, denying a stay that is normally granted without hesitation. He's going to need to do more weed...a LOT more...lol
