Watched TRUST last night. Adxs needs the same injection that John Paul Getty (Donald Sutherland) received to rocket upward!
I think It's good that the employees can buy stock at a discount. Then they will be able to join all the other adxs shareholders that are pissed off about their investment. Congratulations, Advaxis employees, join our HAPPY GROUP!
Emailed Noelle about transcript. No response yet.
There appears to be a media blackout of the shareholders' meeting.
Anyone who thinks that any questions will be answered will be disappointed. The meeting will take five minutes, then every board member and any high ranking official will slide out a back staircase.
How much is Noelle getting paid? A lot of posters seem concerned that she is overpaid, but does anyone know how much she is paid?
How much is she making? I haven't seen her salary listed.
Adxs already went through the Greenshoe Option and it wasn't good. Here we go again.
NOW DOWN .12 @4.24 PM EST ON A PALTRY 1144 SHARES. PEOPLE ARE REALLY RUSHING TO GET OUT!
Just got my proxies. Ready to vote my 31,000+ shares.
That would get me back to only 60% in the red.
I'll say 5. Always better to under predict/over perform.
With his midas touch, if Bezos bought ADXS for $100 a share now, in 10 years, ADXS would be worth a million a share to him.
I really don't understand why an "Icahn" type wouldn't come in now. With the BOD in disarray, that entity could get at least two board seats. To me, it would seem to be a 3x-4x their money in a couple of years. Even with that, I would still be $150,000 at the best and $250,000 at the worst in the red but at least I would be closer to break even.
One of CNBC OPTION ACTION bullet points-Biotech Breakout. I don't think they are talking about ADXS.
Maybe Advaxis has baited the lure and is going fishing?
It would be nice to know what the comparison is at 42 months, or at whatever interval the previous study used.
There is no way that this can be interpreted in any way other than good, if not great.
This is the response I got-

Sanofi to buy Bioverativ for approx. 105 a share, up from the 64+ it closed on Friday.
Algos gone wild? As of 12 pm est, adxs is up $.04 with heavy volume for the first 2 1/2 hours. I suppose that the short squeeze some longs were hoping for today is not going to materialize. ADXS is now 0 for 1001 on fulfilling prognostications from us longs.
If adxs doesn't get a bump in share price tomorrow, I'm done hoping that "events" will help the share price. "It's" currently 0 for 1000.
The last couple of days have seemed rather optimistic on the ADXS ihub board! Or, at least, a little more upbeat. Almost makes a person glad that they own the stock!
Since I am not fluent in options, can someone explain what is going to happen on the 19th with the put option contracts? How is this supposed to help raise the share price. TIA
Is January 8th a fork in the road event? Submit and ADXS is in the 5's, no submit and we are in the low 2's high 1's.
I agree with you Traderbx. It is just a recovery, especially for those like myself that are in at an average of north of $15.00.
A more truthful name would be Advaxis Blockhead!
GNCA MC halved in after hours.
I did congratulating their partner Aratana.
If the theory that Lombardo was elevated to CEO in order to sell ADXS, wouldn't The Channel Group be buying ADXS stock hand over fist in order to make at least 300% return in a short time (if ADXS sold for a super bargain price of $20)?
I hope we are not selling for anything below 3 billion.
In The Motley Fool column in this Sunday's Seattle Times, a reader submitted his "My Dumbest Investment". In the mid 1980's, the reader had about $10000 to invest. He narrowed it down to two companies. The one that he invested in was Convergent Technologies. The company he passed on was a little startup called Amgen. By his math, the $10000 that he would have invested in Amgen then would now be worth more than $12,000,000. The reader admitted that it would be highly unlikely that he would have held on from the mid '80s to now.
In 30 years this same story COULD be told about ADXS. Not likely, but a person never knows. Some on this board say they would sell out their stake for $20 a share. Good Luck to them. Me and my 30000+ shares are in for the long haul.
Just read Lombardo's contract. Didn't see the specifics to exactly what will trigger his 50% of base salary annual bonus which would amount to approximately $167,500. Anybody see what those specifics are?
Again, mad when they talk. Mad when they don't talk.
People on the board here hate it when adxs talks (like investor day and Noelle's "boiler plate" response) and when they don't talk (silence). Can't have it both ways!
Thanks mypekeispooped
Thanks JB
What does "AA" stand for?
Novartis gene therapy article:
"This is the most exciting thing I've seen in my lifetime," Dr. Timothy Cripe said Wednesday after voting in favor of a groundbreaking new cancer treatment. The oncologist and nine other members of a Food and Drug Administration panel voted unanimously to recommend approval of the treatment, which uses a patient's own genetically modified cells to fight cancer, the New York Times reports. There are still concerns about side effects, but the FDA is expected to follow the panel's advice and approve the "living drug" therapy for people ages 3 to 25 whose bodies have resisted other treatments like chemo or who've relapsed after receiving chemo for the most common US childhood cancer, B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia, reports NPR.
The treatment, which is on course to be the first gene therapy product ever approved by the FDA, involves removing immune cells from a patient, altering them to fight cancer cells, and putting them back as a personalized treatment for each patient, NBC News reports. Its creator, Novartis, is one of numerous companies that have been researching gene therapies for years. The firm is working on similar treatments for other kinds of cancer. Tom Whitehead, whose daughter Emily has been cancer-free since receiving the treatment as a 6-year-old in 2012, spoke before the panel. "The benefits that we gained from this treatment far outweigh the risk," he said. "She's standing right beside me, and it's because of this treatment."
$25 a share buy out gets us a Boston Whaler boat ride around Venice Beach. BTW, Aaron Judge is awesome. I hadn't seen him very much this year but his performance in the home run derby was EPIC! Hopefully our share price explodes like a ball off his bat!
If they do this, I hope that they don't call it "Investors Day".
