....a little over $7K traded, but given the pps is so low it took over 4.7M shares to do it.
....be still my heart!
..."because a lot is happening beyond your purview."
There;s another one! Whadya got? Anything?
Yeah...that's what I thought!
"Remember, incidentally, that for years now any statement that is not full of rock-hard news has been decried, disdained and downgraded as "fluff".
Actually, for years now any statements were out-and-out lies.
"What is still "becoming" and still in progress is not yet ready to be commented on."
Based on what??
"That's how it works."
Sure explains why their e-mail box if full. Sure explains why they don't respond to shareholders.
"No doubt about it."
Based on what????
...in which case it sure would be nice to hear what was supposed to happen, given the lawsuite's stifling of it.
Oh, and PS: Lawsuite or not, if there was a reportable event in July, it needed to have been announced, just like the lawsuite itself was.
And exactly what has the law suite got to do with the news you and others said was coming in July?
You're correct in that we're well into August. What happened to the 'July prediction?' No response is neccessary (consider that a rhetorical question) and will save us from the stock responses we've all heard over the months & years, such as: 'gee....things change' or 'unexpected circumstances.' The bottom line here is that 'by the end of July' was a load of crap! No positive news, no positive lies....nothing.....zip.....nada!
Oh, and I forgot...tomorrow morning I (we) fly out to Antigua for 12 days of sun & cane rum, etc. Even if the resort has internet access, I'm going to try way hard not to log on...it will be interesting to see if the AMNG ticker symbol is still listed when I get back...I'm kinda worried it won't be.
Either way, regards to all...
Yer kidding, right? What about all the "expectations" spewed out by Mario and Peter? "Done deal" referencing the merger, remember? And even a monkey knows about that disclaimer. Nevertheless, are you under the immpression that it gives IR, et al, a clear sail to go batting '0' on every last thing they said? This isn't a matter of giving leeway to IR in case some things don't pan out every once in a while, this was out and out lieing, nonstop. "Keep the faith"....yeah.....OK.
Sting, with all due respect, you may like some of these guys that you met, but imo you need to reevaluate your impressions of them at this juncture.
BTW, a few weeks ago I was e-mailed a pic of Mario's house.....this guy isn't suffering financial hardships, believe me. It's only us, the lied-to sheep that took a beating!
"Somebody forced you to invest. You had no choice. It never was not your decision.
That is indeed a sad chapter."
...don't be absurd...we were LIED to!
Absolutely, positively, and without a shadow of a doubt, that was the post of the year!!
George
Wow.....news before the end of July after all!!!!!!!!!!!
Uhhhhh....I was joking as well, dude.
Bears have horns?
...an interesting 'slip,' especially given the connotation the word 'bull' has in the stock market ;)
Understood.
...I'm not exactly expecting to be on the Fortune 500 by August 2nd.
Sting,
I'm not arguing whether or not the company has started in a new direction...that's obvious given the new name, the new 'plan,' and the death of drm.
My concern is the ole' leopard's changing their spots cliche. In the past (the 'old' direction), there was either no news, or b.s. news. Just because the direction of the company has changed, doesn't mean the (same) people running the company have. At this point in time, I haven't been given a reason to think they have.
I'm more than willing to let this month pass to see what, if anything, happens. However, if August 1st arrives, and we're still at the same old status quo, what will be said then? Business plans aren't always on our time frame for varying reasons? Give it another 30 days?
I'll tell you what: I'll stop the negative posts that rehash the last few years of this nightmare until August. If we're still here and nothing has changed at that point, there's no way you could blame anyone for ripping this company another blow-hole, and I would think at that junction you'd join in. That said, if the company does produce something concrete (stress 'concrete'), I like my crow pie 'medium-well.'
What about the other 51 weeks of the last year, and the 51 before that, etc, etc. Now, all of a sudden, we're supposed to expect them to come out with (truthful) information for a change, after this holiday week?
...appreciate it....gracias.
George
My Ameritrade streamer lists AMNG, but has no bid, ask, last, volume (the whole row is blank). Anybody having the same problem? Anybody have an RTQ?
I so wish he didn't say "More to come..."
Q: Now that Amergence has come out the other end of this capital restructuring, how does it look for us, shareholders? Second, what’s the next 3 months look like for the company?
Thanks.
KMS (6/29/2007)
A: Thanks for writing. As you mentioned, Amergence is now trading at the increased share price and we are now attracting the attention of potential partners - both business and financial. Our goals this year include the acquisition of 5 or 6 companies which we believe represent tomorrow’s "hot" properties. You can expect news shortly regarding both Sonic Mountain/Odeo.com and another business partner in the works.
As you observed when we chatted on the phone, the market makers will take time to establish an initial price range for Amergence shares, but we feel that no matter where that price initially settles, our ability to consistently add new business and associated revenues will rule the day. We believe the Company has been be greatly enhanced with this new capital structure, and you should know that everyone at Amergence and its subsidiaries, TranzByte and Sonic Mountain/Odeo are working full-tilt to actualize a successful result for our shareholders.
More to come...

Back to $3.375, but scary that the pps would touch such a low :(
Last trade: $1.01. Care to sugar-coat that pill?
It's not like I'm looking to trade this thing. The increase you mention means little to me as I'm in way higher, and wouldn't buy more at gunpoint...kudos to those that did and made a buck.
Are you saying that the 25% drop as soon as the stock started trading under its new ticker symbol is encouraging? Yeah, yeah...I know....expected after a R/S.....
You want cheering?.....you'll hear it if the pps ever gets back to where I bought in (pre R/S numbers, of course).
You mean like most companies?
25% right off the top......and away we go!
Gracias!
Anybody have a RTQ?
Ameritrade streamer not running new symbol....
...and leave us not forget the mandatory reorganization fee charged by the broker/sec when an R/S is done (Ameritrade charges at least $20.00). Not that this is exactly a lot of dinero, but still another boot to the groin from this "investment!"
"Remeber that nobody made you buy the stock and the only reason you are using this message board to vent on SunnComm or The Amergence Group is because the anger you have with your own decision."
Your post sounded fairly astute except for the inaccuracies in the above sentence. I'm not sure how long you've been around here as I don't recognize your ID, but its all the hype-BS that people are pissed off about. All the crap spewed by IR, for example, that amounted to nothing more than inuendo and lies, unfortunately became part of the DD used in making an investment decision. We were lied to, plain and simple, and I for one am not happy about it.
Great post then and still applies even now.....would be better if you left out the inuendo and said nothing.
Be that as it may (and likewise), but it doesn't change the perception that either: 1) you're sitting on some info and are singing 'I know something you don't know.....nyahh, nyahh, nenyahhnyahhhhhh' or 2) you got nuthin' besides some hope or non-factual inference you've been able to create. Either way, its typical of what has transpired here over the years and is almost Mario-esque in that no facts are displayed, but the mantra of 'you ain't seen nothing yet!' keeps going and going.
"...therefore most probably a signal between MMs."
For what possible purpose?????
Could be....I was thinking 'kicking' as in 'the bucket.'
"alive and kicking" would imply sales and revenues. Is there something I'm missing?
"As to "filing for bankruptcy", that far-fetched hypothesis has been aired, blared and and shunted on to sidings for a long time now. The plain fact is -- it's never happened! You have to ask: why should it, anyway?"
....because, the relationship here is linear. The longer time goes on (without revenues) the higher the probability of BK would be.
Gloss that over that as much as you like, but this is a simple business reality, and this company's been "surviving" for quite some time without any revenues to speak of.
They are probably going to move to....
.....a VAN......down by the river......
Beliefs are one thing, and with all due respect, I think you're outta yer mind for buying more of this stock. My point was that if you had facts (stress facts) it would behoove you to share them as the more that know about them, the more likely the pps would be to rise (since others may start buying again as well).
But I do understand you're not wanting to share anything here. The problem is, this has been such a huge loss for so many, and after all the company-orchestrated BS flung around, unless info is verifiable and, for a change, true, all messengers will be stomped upon. Shitty situation...but its come down to this...
