Looks like the shorts and profit takers are jumping in.
Looking to purchase more shares, but waiting for a pullback. Anyone have an idea where this could pull back to?
Convertible notes.
There has been a lot of disgruntled investors the past several months due to the diluting that has been happening. While I too am very discouraged that Asif has taken on convertible debt, I think the alternative would have been much worse. We all know that prices for scrap metal have been in the dumps. As a result, the income being generated wasn't enough to keep the lights on let alone buy more cars at auction to resell parts and scrap what can't be sold. It appears to me that Asif had a choice, take on convertible debt until the SBA loan goes through or shut down the operation. Personally, I rather him take on the convertible debt rather than go under (if that was the alternative). Keep in mind that not too long ago Asif paid off a loan with his own money and recently put up $2.5 million of his own property. How many other CEOs have done the same? Put yourself in his shoes. What would you have done?
GreenParts International Discloses Operational Improvement Accesswire
ATLANTA, GA / ACCESSWIRE / March 16, 2016 / GreenParts International, Inc. (GNPT), a diversified recycling company released a company update disclosing bottom line improvement and information as to current industry conditions.
Asif Balagamwala, GreenParts CEO, commented, "We are all very excited about the positive impact our recent refinance package is having on our bottom line. Since closing the loan, our interest expense has been reduced nearly 70% over the same period last year and we project approximately $450k in savings for fiscal 2016. This expense reduction has also facilitated an increase in investments into our high profit margin auto parts division, as well as stepped up crucial equipment maintenance programs and various enhancements in preparation for the evolving market recovery."
Balagamwala concluded, "The first quarter has been filled with headlines detailing China's woes and the trickle affect that is felt in our industry. However, in part to the stabilization of commodity prices in our region, coupled with our debt refinancing, we've started the year on a positive note and are using the improved cash flow to maximize profitability while we continue to focus on seeking value added acquisition opportunities, such as our ongoing endeavor with the previously released URM deal. Continued increase in cash flow and a return to profitability, and improvement of shareholder value is key to our success in 2016. Lastly, we will be filing our 10k in a timely manner."

Q1 may be better than I thought.
Historically Q1 has been bad for GNPT due to weather. Not sure if anyone has noticed, but this winter has not been that bad in Atlanta. Weather for the next 2 weeks looks fairly decent too. This, along with the SBA loan, should give GNPT a very respectful Q1. I'm really looking forward to 2015 earnings, Q1 earnings, and completion of the acquisition. GO GNPT!
Q1 has always been a slow quarter for GNPT. The $5 million loan they received will reduce costs significantly and should reflect nicely on Q1 earnings. I think Q1 will be a little disappointing to some. I expect we see great numbers with Q2 and even better with Q3 if the acquisition goes through. I hope Asif does look into my idea of recycling mattresses. I told him he could either take them for free or charge a small fee. Maybe contract with mattress stores and/or garbage companies to take them. He said it was a great idea and he would look into it. That would be another revenue stream for GNPT.
Mattress recycling.
Did anyone see the Consumer Report's article on mattress recycling? I e-mailed Asif the story this morning and he replied stating it was a great idea and he would look into it. Would be another revenue stream for GNPT.
Mattress Recycling Is Easier Than You Think
80 percent of the components in a mattress can be recycled
By Ed Perratore
February 12, 2016
Because one old mattress can occupy 40 cubic feet or more in a landfill, mattresses are an obvious candidate for recycling. And although 80 percent of the components can be recycled, not everyone makes the effort. That’s one reason Rhode Island has become the third state to require that mattresses be recycled joining California and Connecticut. And at least 20 other states have mattress recycling facilities.
Rhode Island launches its approved recycling plan on May 1. It’s operated by Bye Bye Mattress, which was established by the Mattress Recycling Council. In the three states where recycling is mandatory, mattress retailers are adding a $10 recycling fee to the price of every mattress sold.
At least 20 million mattresses and box springs are discarded each year. In addition to being better for the environment, recycling an old mattress makes good business sense. There are plenty of materials to glean from a dismantled mattress, a process that’s typically done by hand. Steel from the springs can be melted down and used in many products. Foam is often processed into carpet padding. Wood from box springs can be made into wood chips for mulch. And fiber is reprocessed for a number of uses, such as filters for industrial equipment.
Even if you don’t live in a state that requires mattress recycling, check the Bye Bye Mattress database to find the recycling center closest to you.
That’s for when you get rid of an mattress, but you certainly don't want to unknowingly buy one. Be aware that some smaller, lesser-known stores could be selling used mattresses. To avoid ending up with someone else's old mattress, always look for the label “All New Material” on the tag. And if a mattress is delivered to you without that tag, don’t accept it.
This is a good company with solid potential. It's unfortunate we have day traders and short sellers keeping the price down. I think we'll be in for a nice surprise when earnings are released.
Too many large dumps into NITE this morning at 0.0001. NITE turns around an puts those shares on the bid at 0.0002 almost instantly. It's no wonder this isn't going anywhere. If NITE gets out of the picture, this should go up. Until then, this is going nowhere. Very disappointed.
I believe the Asian deal is moving along. XXII is keeping them up to date with the translated press releases that have been hitting the news wire as of late.
For all new GNPT followers.
If you have a half hour, listen to the interview the CEO gave in April 2015. Shares his thoughts on recycling and expansion.

If you don't have time, here are some highlights:
Partner in Korea makes pistons for Kia, Hyundai and John Deere and wants to invest in infrastructure for tire recycling and looking to invest more money in recycling for oil and plastic.
Cost of recycling is cheaper than using raw materials as a result of new technologies.
Looking for revenues of $100 million or more in 18-24 months.
Moving into recycling plastic, cardboard and demolition products.
Study on EPA website provides that 75% of trash can be recycled.
GNPT invested a lot of money in 2014 and had a lot of downtime as a result.
Has a 12 acre facility that produces 90% of revenues. Their 3 locations are running at 50%-60% capacity and can produce another $15-$20 million in sales at current facilities.
Key acquisitions are targeted in a conservative 18-24 month time frame. One acquisition announced in January.
After GNPT obtains more liquidity, they plan on consulting with their attorneys and consultants and may do a share buy back to increase value of shares.
This is information I obtained from the call. Please do not invest or divest based on what I listed above (I could have made a mistake or heard information incorrectly). Please perform your own due diligence including listening to the call.
Never saw a possible connection with SBA and Gov't. contracts, but it does make sense. I'm looking forward to earning being released. Should be out in 2-3 weeks.
3-5 years would be great. I'm hoping a recycling company fire sale begins later this year in Atlanta where Asif can purchase more companies to expand horizontal and vertical growth. I would love to see a government contract for recyclables from Atlanta or the State of Georgia. I think he made mention of it last year.
Favorable financing, reduction/elimination of toxic debt, mild winter, and lower fuel costs will drive a very respectable first quarter. If Q1 is good, the rest of 2016 should be awesome.
I would think 5 to 10 years down the road. No need to expend capital on a buyback when he's trying to grow the company. He wants to get to $100 million in revenues as he stated last year.
When revenues ramp up, earnings will ramp up. And when earnings ramp up, this earnings story will turn into a love story for all the longs.
Once all the DD is completed and the terms to acquire the property have been ironed out, I would expect the sale to be completed in May. This would give GNPT additional revenue of just over $2 million for 2016 considering the property generates $4 million annually. Personally, I think 2016 will be a turnaround year for GNPT as a result of very favorable refinancing, the reduction in fuel expense, and higher steel prices(based on previous postings and articles). Refinancing will be the biggest cost savings.
All of us "old timers" know that the first quarter is typically a bad quarter for GNPT due to inclement weather. But in relation to 2015 Q1 and 2014 Q1, 2016 Q1 will be much better off IMO.
And yes, this post is on topic as it relates to GNPT's recent Letter of Intent to purchase another property to expand its recycling business.
Good point. I would have to agree with you. Looks like we'll get more info in May at the latest.
It very well could explain it. We know it was increased for the SBA loan. I think this is great news to use the loan to purchase an established recycling center. I hope it generates revenues from day one and Asif purchases a couple more centers by year end.
You're welcome. I wish we could get more information about the company, even an address for the property. I can't find anything listed with URM in Atlanta. One thing we do know is that if/when the sale is complete, outstanding shares will increase as this is a stock and cash deal. Since URM has warehouse facilities, that could help ramp up the oil recycling and clothes recycling parts of the business.
Asif is purchasing a recycling center in Atlanta, he's not purchasing the company. I don't see anything mentioned about the Atlanta property on URM's webpage though. It appears they are a large company with recycling in the UK and parts of the European Union. Could be selling the property due to performance and Asif sees a goldmine.
They own almost 10% because they issued the toxic financing. They will dump their shares as soon as they can to make a good profit. That's no different than any other lender who issued ACTL toxic financing. I've been watching this stock for a couple months from 0.0034 to where it is today. Very glad I didn't buy back then. Hope you all make some nice money from this stock, but I don't see it happening anytime soon. GLTA!
Here's a link for you that explains T Trades.

GO GNPT!
Based on the press release, it appears the Letter of Intent is to enhance the concrete recycling portion of the business. If URM is profitable, we should see positive returns beginning with the Q3. If the transaction closes in May, we may see a little bit of a return in Q2.
TD Ameritrade shows 2/4/16 before market opens. Not sure if that is set in stone or not.
I think the word "aggressive" is an understatement. He took $2.5 million worth of his own property and transferred it to the company to get very favorable financing. How many other company CEOs have done the same thing? Asif believes in GNPT and is looking to expand and grow the business and is not afraid to put his own assets on the line. I love what I see here and I'm looking forward to consecutive quarterly profits within the year.
I don't see the stock price doing much over the next month without any news. If the next quarterly report shows a profit, which I expect we will see, then the price will move up nicely. I do expect to see a small loss for Q1 2016 as the first quarter is always the worst because of the weather. But it will not be as much of a loss as in previous first quarters. This would be attributed to much better refinancing terms and having the additional capital to acquire product to process. The remaining quarters should be awesome. Of course this is all my opinion. Don't trade on what I believe, but perform your own DD.
I don't see a run coming next week or anytime soon. We will still have the 2 and 3 tick flippers out there that will keep the price down. In addition, the markets are spooked and retail is very nervous. China will bring the world markets down a bit more.
As it relates to the $5 million refinancing and the addition of 2 properties. The refinancing could not have come at a better time. As we know from previous years, the first quarter is always the worst due to weather conditions. Hopefully the 2 properties are not affected by weather and can generate decent revenue year round. I expect Q1 to be better than last year based on refinancing alone. GNPT will save a lot in interest since they were paying 10% - 12% interest. Saveing interest $ means more $ to purchase more vehicles at auctions to recycle.
Finally, I would like to see all those people who were bashing Asif in November and December to apologize. A few stated they sent him e-mails badmouthing him. Keep in mind that he is doing what he can to run a business, not to be at everyone's beck and call. Now we know he was busy running the business, doing his best to secure very favorable financing, and acquiring properties. So next time he goes a few months without an update, maybe he's looking for better financing, looking for more business partners, and/or expand the business.
All the above are my personal opinion. Please do not invest on anything I write, but do your own DD. Have a blessed day!
I hope both properties are big operations with a good number of assets, quality employees, and most importantly profitable.
Would love to get information regarding the 2 new acquisitions. Are these 2 more metal recycling centers or did Asif diversify into tire recycling and possibly expand oil and concrete recycling. Hope to get another PR in a few weeks.
Shareholder letter.
I just received a 3 page shareholder letter and a company overview sheet from XXII that provides 2015 accomplishments and 2016 growth trajectory. Very informative letter.
I agree, but I would rather have them use the profits for expansion than a share buyback.
I'm looking for good revenues in the Q2 report. It will take time, just need to keep calm and accumulate.
Great news. Looking for another dip to accumulate more shares.
Looks like a good portion of the information came strait from the GNPT IHUB page. lol
Not at all. If they come out with more news, it'll move a lot earlier.
Got mine too. Very nice card.
Looks like Q2 will be out the first week of September, 2016. It appears the Q1 was late, but I could be wrong. I can hold onto this stock for another 9 months.
It is very disappointing, but I can't fault them for taking 50% and/or 100% profit. It would appear some people got wind of the promo yesterday that was put out today. I find it very hard to believe that the volume we had yesterday was solely based on the company news of them signing a letter of intent to buy the terminal in Pennsylvania. I'm holding long on this one as I see good potential for this company and favorable results beginning with the Q2 2016.
