EVIO is growing rev and margins are improving. We haven’t seen results from hemp harvest. Market cap is now 2x revenue.
What this stock needs is buyers.
Unfortunately this board is scaring away new investors. Are we here to vent frustrations or are we here to make money?
The note holders aren’t selling down here because of fundamentals - they are selling to get out ASAP -they don’t care about the price.
We don’t lose $ till we sell. So question is what do we want our avg price to be when that day comes?
Wow. I remember rumor from a year or two ago that Steep Hill was going public. Then there was some dust up with the original owners, and the CEO was replaced with the Doctor who runs the Maryland lab. And didn’t hear any more about it. The company’s main lab is in Berkeley.
Say what??? How did this huge news pass everyone by?
kaycha might have left because they couldn’t compete with Evio in CA. Kaycha learned what they needed to from evio, and they need to expand out of FL before the business there implodes.
What Floridian would buy weed from the local expensive and moldy factory nursery when they could buy humboldt’s finest?
I also heard a new big lab is coming into Florida so I think that FL gravy train is coming to an end.
Ticker?
Thanks sage, glad to have someone here who is in the know
Is there more hemp this year than last in Oregon? Do you know about CA? And is there more testing needed this year than last?
The brand is getting traction. I think they learned their lesson and will be less pets.com and more Amazon. So I’m going in
This is a bummer. I should have listened to my gut when I first bought this stock. I got caught up in the hype - back when it was just a social media play.
Thanks!

Have you called the company?
I emailed with Lori a while back when I was checking out the company, she responded right away.
Holding for now. Waiting to see the impact CBD will have. Farm bill was April. So I wonder how sales have been since, especially this fall for hemp harvest
FDA is getting in the game. This is just getting started.
I got in sub .40s, so I don’t have much to complain about.
my other cannabis stocks took a big hit today, not sure why yet. Anyone?

Good to see some news, first time in a while
Thank you. Seems a good entry point. Post growing pains.
Thank you both.
They will be helped with the new USDA rules
Thank you for the helpful post. Makes sense they would do that just before harvest season.
Hemp went legal in April. Evio just released March quarterly report.
When did EVIO launch hemptesting.com?
Do you guys know what other stocks will benefit from new hemp regulations?
USDA to require hemp testing.

I spread my bets on the whole sector - Cannlabs, PZOO, DIGP and eventually the last one EVIO because its picks n shovels of weed. Cannlabs closed after violations. Digp has not been successful expanding out of one location even though they made several announcements, and they got suspended last year. PZOO never got off the ground, and I think they got suspended too in NV. Other private labs in Sacramento, Oregon, Mass, and San Diego all got In trouble one way or another. One lab in mass got a 1/2 million fine when their waste material got out. A lab in OR was accused of falsifying results. A lab in Sacramento was shut down for falsifying results. Another lab in OR with locations in Portland and bend shut down and moved to CA and they’re still not licensed.
Despite all this, the weed MUST be tested. Question who will test it?
a contrarian investor might say this is the best time to get in, when things seem most dismal.
Surprised none of you are over on the digp board. Lots of news going on over there.
I’m almost tickled with the level of angst. Reminds me of 2002 and 2009. I did very well in dot com and real estate by entering when everyone else was licking wounds
Ok, I was following the YOY numbers.
Last year there was also a drop between Q1 and Q2.
Rev's are up! This board is getting ridiculous.
Following. . . I just discovered this company, curious about their products and how they will stand above the gobs of competitors.
Great to see some movement here.
FDA on CBD: “That means, for one thing, protecting Americans from unsafe products, and from purported medicines that aren’t effective at doing what they’re marketed for. It also means making sure we have viable paths to market for products that can improve Americans’ health and well-being in line with our regulatory standards.”

Fda is on it. Can’t think of another company that will benefit from this as much as EVIO will from this ...
I second that advice.
Yes it’s the financials holding them back.
I heard COO speak a few weeks ago at a small Chicago conference. She said the financials and meeting customer demand for CBD testing is priority, and have been “seriously looking at” the vape issue. She told a moving story about her husband who died recently from vaping. I think they’re just getting started.
This is good news. Good to see some diversification and growth
Exactly.
I’m back! It’s nice to step away and come back 50% richer.
So lab rat- is that you broth?. Always complaining that they don’t have enough PR.
no news is good news in this case.
I’ll check in again after the next reports. Will pick up anything under .60. Glta.
Wow, they’re busy.
That’s interesting. the labs are in a good spot to come out with new tech and products aimed at helping the canna industry.

EVIO/WSU study
I watched some of the FDA meeting. I think this is huge for DIGP. Sounds like testing of CBD is imminent. That will be a LOT of new business.
Months ago I offered advice based on my 30+ years experience in trend investing. It seems that wen't nowhere, so out of frustration, I will again:
No matter what financial state EVIO is in today - no matter if they own or license labs, no matter if they lose millions per year (like uber, amazon, twitter did before them), no matter how late the filings, EVIO is one of TWO publicly traded testing companies
1. During the FDA hearing, EVIO was brought up, and testing was discussed many times. CBD testing is imminent. Both NYT and Forbes had feature articles today abut CBD.
2. Ihub has over 31,000 message boards to choose from. Why did this poster choose to write 880 posts during the past year - and not one establishes his credibility. Now this entire board lost credibility. Investors in this community take one glance at the boards and move on to the next stock. No wonder there is no volume.
3. Regarding the CEO buying a house, any 50-year old who cannot afford an $800k home is not experienced or successful enough to be a CEO. That is the median home price in Oahu. I know 20-somethings who spend this on their first home in california, because that's just how much a decent home costs any more.
4 Invest those 400 hours spent posting to this board to a $20/hour job doing something productive, and invest that in a mutual fund or a stock like Coca-Cola. If you treat investing like gambling, and don't value the hard work is required to make money, then you will not learn from your mistake.
5. Regarding taking legal action, being late on filings is not criminal.Overextending and over spending is not criminal. Handling cannabis, in the eyes of the US federal government IS CRIMINAL. EVIO is taking risks few other companies can. So when it is legal - they will have a huge head start over all other lab companies. If you think it is worth filing a lawsuit that serve to line the pockets of attorneys, and further damage the very company you invested in, time is better spent making money the old fashioned way.
6. Diversify. Did I lose money investing in webvan and enron and solar companies? Hell yeah. But I made up for it by investing in Yahoo and Tesla and Google and Apple. Webvan raised almost $1 billion, valued at $5b and generated less than $1 million revenue before it got rolled up into Amazon. EVIO is already doing FAR better.
It seems that Danielson, has a personal problem with the CEO. A disgruntled employee? Your posts don't help. They don't help the stock price, they don't help EVIO, and they don't help the rest of us on this board who are trying to have a rational discussion and help the company succeed.
I met some EVIO employees at a conference, they seemed very smart. If I worked for EVIO and I read these boards I would run like hell and work for a private lab. The last thing EVIO needs is to lose the talent it spent the last 3 years training.
I will reserve judgement about whether this is webvan or twitter once the financials come out.
I'm bringing this papaya pineapple CBD smoothie and boogie board down to the beach, where I have better things to do with my time and retirement money than continue to teach people things I learned in the 1990's.
The FDA is hosting a hearing now on cannabis containing and cannabis-derived compounds. Every speaker I've heard so far says testing must be mandatory.
It will be going all day -

FDA people. Get it???
And does anyone know what kind of software they use? Is it this?
https://www.limsforum.com/ebook/laboratory-information-management-for-cannabis-quality-assurance/
Will they be at the event?
Oregon senate passes export bill.
https://www.portlandmercury.com/blogtown/2019/05/15/26486230/oregon-bill-allowing-interstate-weed-exports-passes-senate-vote
This could be better for EVIO than federal legalization since it's limited to only Oregon
Does DIGP test cbd and hemp?
Fda is getting into the game.
I wonder how big cannabis can really get. I mean there is still a ton of it available on the black market, and only a small portion of people actually smoke the stuff.
Cbd can be for everyone. Two years ago no one knew what it was. Today it’s everywhere.
FDA is cracking down on products that don't have the CBD in it as claimed. When will they require testing for all CBD products?

All of my neighbors are talking about CBD.I even know some people who are getting into brokering it.
Has anyone on this board actually tested with EVIO? I'll talk to my buddies and get some to send to EVIO for testing.
