whats up with the after hours action?
a brilliant first post, tons of insight.
this stock is best of breed in this speculative market. i'm not sure if next week if "the week," definitely will do well in the next 12 months.
Best wishes from the Dominican Republic!
it all sounds great, then you see the CFO has left. kindof dicey...
$2 to $10, its pretty warped when you look on charts because of the recent reverse split. the wheels started to come off in 2014 Q1. they didn't pull the trigger on IVG and then inventory in the distribution space exploded and killed us.
the only things standing in our way are extreme regulation that would kill us or reasonable regulation which would help us in the near future.
i think this stock is only going to move based on earnings like the 2013 run before it gets forward momentum. not aqcuisitions on a weekly or monthly basis.
i'll hold my excitement until after the meeting and watch the FDA regs that will come out this year.
i think we are going to start to mimic the 2013 run.
looks like they revised the store count estimate up, they are fine by me to do that as much as they want lol
they have been saying "expanding the retail footprint BY 20-30 by year end" which means in addition to the 8-10 at the time they started beating that drum, so by that math 28-38. it almost mid-september, i don't see it...
Holman says 50 by 2016 end. FDA hasn't even released new Regs which should start the aqcuisition machine up.
you the man, Chuck!
before this big capital raise they produced a model that had them opening/owning a 20 stores. i think they will match the model or surpass the store count by a little.
bullrider, you have too much enthusiasm towards this thing. you are probably going to be disappointed if your time horizon is this calendar year. management is too unpredictable of a variable here, this is losing way too much money to skyrocket.
I doubt any of them, atleast they aré on zamplebox.

on a positive note, they have naked fish on the zamblebox site. ive always thought they should buy zamplebox or dripclub. they are serious data miners and have tons of web traffic.
http://www.marketwatch.com/story/vapor-corp-to-acquire-the-operations-of-international-vapor-group-ivg-a-multi-brand-e-cigarette-and-vaporizer-company-with-15-million-of-online-revenue-in-2013-and-8-company-owned-retail-stores-2014-05-15
they own the vaporfi brand, they have really strong online sales. they have 35+ locations now. they had a lot of kiosks, so probably 20 retail stores. Vapor Corp walked because they believed they could do it cheaper. they announced this deal after their best ever quarter and the stock started to slide ever since. they wouldn't have had to do that dramatic of funding if they only had done this. they are based out of florida too...
you echo one point that i agree with, management. We are led by a lawyer who in my personal opinion gives off such a sleezy vibe. He doesn't give off an entrepreneur vibe. that 100k bonus was immoral, we hadn't reaped any of the rewards and he gets flipped a check for a $100k.
They did offer the units to the public, so its not like they cut deals with only their friends. Everybody had an opportunity to get involved...
This went south when they botched the IVG deal, but atleast we know they were willing to drop 30 mil at the time. They had the right idea, but argued over small change and lost 18 months in the process. Vaporin was really just a business plan when they bought it (4 shops) and some good connections...
Im not shorting the stock, they need to build a real company. They aré a nasdaq stock by listing. They really aré like a peñny stock. You buy back stock or give dividends when you aré maturing. Growth stocks need fuel (investment).
They aré better served opening stores and increasing revenue. Not thinking on hoy manipulate the stock price...
Its going to be a long haul. Unknown amount of shares to come off the sidelines
We aré in pergatory until 2016, we could potentially be profitable before VPCOU converts into VPCO. 25-30 locations and we should be knocking at that door.
Its going to be a few quarters before we can reap the benefits. It actually would be good for regulation. Very minor would help. Enough that It would Cost a few hundred to a grand a flavor. Independent shops would cash out very fast.
anyone have an idea of the valuation of VPCO with the cash hoard when it becomes VPCOU converts?
looks like they are coming out with some tech...
http://thevapestoreonline.com/vapormax/
is the s/3 another round of shares?
AP, great iHub persona lol...
i asked that a few days ago, Leonitus answered it pretty well. VPCOU will cease to exist in January, all the units will morph into VPCO via the 3 different options. So know it will not be a 100% dump, i intend on changing mine into warrants...
Q1 2016 earnings will recalibrate the valuation since that is after January?
I think i understand now,so VPCOU will not exist past january (atleast not this round of funding).
So if you actually like this company you have to wait a few quarters for the dust to settle so to speak...
they need to buy or open stores fast, i don't think they can go to the well again after one more reverse split.
you guys think there will be a major flash in the pan pump before the October meeting. $5 a share? $10 share?
i have faith in the company's plan, but i feel like i don't understand this stock anymore. will the units potentially dilute an additional 30 million shares over the next six months? i'm lost conceptually. i see they want authorization to issue 500m shares, i figure that is to be able to buy shops left and right after FDA regulations. i haven't been sucked in to the point that i need to sell at a loss, but I think I will sell my averaging down shares when the right opportunity comes along. the Units start converting in January right?

lol, i feel your pain.
does anyone know when FDA proposed regulations are set to come out?
Staying on the NASDAQ will be easy, i think we are going to gearing to make the same run as 2013 run. They will hit profitably soon, especially if They buy up stores. Look at the 2013 run and their profit margins at the time
you make some fair points, it is a risky stock. i look at it now that we have been upgraded from "critical" to "stable" patient status. its not safe until they are profitable. however, they have the money now to buy/open stores and could reach profitability very soon (Q4 results).
they have raised the money and if they open 15 more stores by year end, they can get there. they are definitely are dangling that carrot right infront of everyone. i don't like that they didn't announce the franchise program is ready. they said that paperwork was supposed to be ready around june.
i don't think so, its an unchartered business model. maybe a mid-size tobacco company like a Republic or Vector might be interested. I don't see how big tobacco will want to get into operating retail locations.
they need to build this model out and make it profitable for that to happen, VPCO is one of the first movers.
earlier i would say that anybody who isnt putting money is investing could miss a run caused by acquisition, but history has shown us with Vaporin that it will take up until the quarter where revenues are included from an acquisition to make a difference. i still think we have found a bottom.
it felt like we were drifting and falling for no reason before, i think we just need to hear reporting of each store opening or store acquisition from here out.
i agree, its not a Hot buy, but i think we have reversed course. we are going to start ticking up from here. I think the only shockwave coming at the stock is the 2016 FDA regulations coming at us, which regulation will be good for VPCO in the long run. just need to keep opening/acquiring stores from here.
