Membermark? Membermark? I don't need no stinkin' membermark!
But I do like the company and think that there is a real market for this product. If you really were able to short this puppy on a foreign exchange, it's a gutsy move, this thing is capable of going either way real quick. GL : now go away...
Buzly, I don't know if you COULD put in a GTC order at a signifigantly higher price than the b/a. My broker won't take 'em, I've tried....
Charlie-tan: one of the ways to build credibility on a board is to keep your word. What in the world are you doing still here? You're like Alec Baldwin, you just won't leave. If you would go away, we'd all like you more.
In the bible belt, from Texas east through the south, hard liquor (excluding beer and wine) is sold is "package" stores and not in markets or individual liquor stores. Don't know how much influence talking with the clerks would have since it is gubmint controlled.
Like a lot of us here, I am new to the board, and I don't know which of the moderators/assistants to thank for the job they are doing, but the board looks great. I see a chart has been added, and just overall it looks real professional and eye-catching. Of course nobody knows where the pps will go next week, but it does have the earmarks of a fine momo play. Good job guys!
Hey skier, at least he didn't mention the you-know-what in his last post. He must be mellowing. Or tiring.
Love, see post 61881.
I like the o/s.
Interesting little company here. Might be worth buying into. Been trading for what, 2 days?
ALMOST it, Ward. And ONE private investor trying to snag some bottom shares, me. No luck so far but no harm in trying. Just cannot get an order filled at .0005.
We're definitely on the same page. I mentioned the same suggestion a few days ago that you had for RC today. I got deleted. Course I didn't put it as nicely as you. It gets old, but he has survived warnings. Watcha gonna do?
Catty: 4 times!
I can tell you for a fact that many times these companies do not know where their trucks or drivers are. In arranging pick-ups and deliveries for mfr. companies it is often frustrating. Sometimes the only method of communication with the driver is his cell phone and if it's turned off, there is no communication. The CT would go a long way toward alleviating a lot of stress.
Cheap, that's really an interesting post. I think there are a whole lot in here that feel that same way, and when the s/p hits 3 - 4 cents 100 million share days will be common because there will be a mass exodus. But I believe the real gains will come after that, though most will have been happy to get out with breaking even or going modestly positive, it's just human nature.
Ward - do you think the 25 mil or so shares traded around 3:45 were part of FM's? If today represented some of his dumping than the s/p wasn't hurt.
This is really exciting. We're almost back to 1/10 of a cent. I'm practically euphoric. Stars will understand.
Drone, I took you up on your suggestion. But before I could get out of the driveway, I noticed I had a flat tire. Then the darn spare was flat too. Fortunately I have a compressor and was able to inflate it and get going, of course now I was late for the game. So half a mile from the house I ran a stop sign and got pulled by a cop who apparently had a bad morning too as I couldn't talk him out of the ticket. When I got to the ballfield there was sign that the game had been cancelled on account of rain. I hadn't checked the weather report. Thanks. Think I'll go to the bar and get in a fight.
Catty, I don't know how you can laugh at all, you must have a cast iron constitution. You're a great gal.
Stox, as usual, I have no idea where your responses are coming from. You now have me as an inmate in a prison, and even so I am in your book without honor. How in the world? Your responses become more polemic each time. If, and it's a big if, there was any INTENTIONAL misleading on the part of management, it was not on the part of the present management. Go after the ones you believe were disingenuous, not the company as it is today. Is it really that hard a concept for you to grasp that you would be hurting the very co. you presently have money in. For cripe's sake, chill out.
Stox, you are certainly not alone in having lost money in this company. But at the risk of "beating a dead horse" as Spence calls it, it should be remembered that this is a pinkie, and any investment of funds is highly risky. I too have lost a lot of money here, but that doesn't change my basic philosophy or make me want to blame anyone, it was my choice to invest. I guess I just think that the best way to return my money to me and make a gain is to let management do its job without a lot of outside pressure on it. I think they've got their work cut out for them without having to take time for issues that serve no positive purpose. Anyway, good luck to you and all here.
Stox, there is no reason for an "attack" as you call it. I said nothing about the police or the FDA. I think it is too easy today to forget that behind every keyboard there is a human being, and we often say things to an impersonal monitor we would be reticent to say eye to eye. I stand by my belief that a gov't investigation would do a lot more harm than good, especially when it isn't even necessary. I don't believe in stirring things up for no reason.
Stoxbox, I disagree. What good ever came out of a gov't. investigation? The surest way to muck anything up is to involve the gov.t. Why anyone on this board would want the gov't. taking a long hard look at us is inconcievable to me, and it has nothing to do with how honest or clean we are. The fact of the investigating alone is bad news.
OT: Hey Stars! Yeah, I had trouble getting back on too. Had a big meltdown with the isp, switched to another, but all's well that ends well. Like HISC!
Well, if it's only your home computer that's stopping you, then post in the morning from work, it'll fire you up for the day and productivity will soar. GL
Seeker, see post 52080, it's perfect for you.
Seeker, you always try to stir things up. What possible good would it do to bug management about the present situation? Seems pretty self-explanatory to me. Spence had the best idea, sell your shares, if in fact you still have any, and quit trying to depress everyone. All your posts are negative and as far back as I can remember, always have been. Bashing?
Hey Stars, good to see you posting, where you been? Missed your cheerleading.
OT: Ward & Drone, it has been many moons since any of my sons was 9 but I can remember holding my youngest boy on the weekend he had at my place with his ear cranking 10 on the pain scale. My ex had not taken him to the doctor and I knew what was coming, his eardrum would burst. The trip to the emergency room would not stop that as it was already too late, but we went and got the antibiotics that would eventually heal the infection. It is the hardest thing in the world to watch your children in pain.
I hope your boy gets better quickly. Strep is very serious.
Aww geez, why not just dig a hole and bury the company? I can't believe the capitulation and surrender here. Did I miss something big happening? Far as I know the situation is the same as ever, it just doesn't seem to be developing fast enough for most. I don't buy it, to me there's still potential for gain here. All it needs is time. Like I've said before, no one here really knows what the share price is going to do in the future. The funny thing is, when a big contract comes in, or the s/p starts to rise dramatically, then all the glad-handers will come out in force and say they always knew it would happen.
Who, I am down at least that much too, and with a decent investment. And I know it's true that time now is our enemy as technological advantages are the most fleeting of all. But I can't help believing that there is a bounce in the future.
I still retain my optimism. GL
Whose "truth", Who? Spence had it right, you are depressing. I think the attitude of a lot of posters is just too demdanding. We need to remember that this is a small, itty-bitty company, just starting out, and they are going to take a while to manifest their destiny. Too many here want huge gains to come quickly, and that just isn't going to happen. But to say that our chance is dead is a bit reactionary, in my opinion. I am willing to sit tight and wait, there is still the possibility that this thing will develop and continue to prosper, it is just as possible as any other scenario. The "truth" is that no one here really knows what the future holds for this company. I choose to think it's positive. Management just might be doing everything right! GL anyway...
Seeker, you really do need to get out of this stock. It just worries you too much and you tend to over-react anyway. I like the addition of the solar charging, there's nothing wrong with adding ANY feature to an existing product. As for being at the CES, they already explained that it was not cost effective in their opinion and I agree.
Sorry, Cap'n, I can't let that one go. Palo Alto just north of San Jose, on the San Francisco Bay Peninsula. A little university called Stanford resides there. I apologize for correcting you, please don't take umbrage.
They need to give the Cap'n his own key to the brig, so he can let himself in; and OUT...
Well, everything's relative. Remember, those that bought in at .008 have already doubled, and it didn't take long. I'm just jealous. G/L
Stars, I agree. But it's a funny 2 posts of yours, first saying the run is on and then predicting a pull-back, but this feels like a classic head-fake. I think we need solid news to start a true up-turn. BTW, how's come the Cap't is in jail? He's got a pirate's mouth on him for sure and sometimes I guess it just gets the better of him...
It is possible we have seen our bottom.
Who, that's precisely my point. Your cost basis on those shares is .006. Buy the same number today at .0015, and your cost basis for the whole she-bang is .0037. Unless, of course, you now feel that the company is not a good investment, its potential has changed, etc. We all have to make these decisions for ourselves, I will be buying as many millions as I can get at these prices, and more if it goes sub-sub penny. Mainly because I still think Fred will turn this around next year, albeit with a reverse thrown into the mix.
Who, it makes sense (cents?) for a couple reasons. First, it really helps lower the cost basis per share a lot. Secondly, if a reverse split does come down the pike, and it probably will at some point, having 5-10 Mil shares vs. 1-2 Mil will make a big difference to your position post split. You know it ain't gonna be a 1 for 10 when it comes.
Ward, you were right. Divy shares have been posted to Scottrade this morning. RSTD# na .....but they're there! Mindoc, they should be in your Etrade too, I re-read earlier posts and I was wrong, I didn't find anyone posting their Etrade account had been updated with the shares. In a year they might be worth something.
Thanks, Ward. You saved me a phone call. The guys (and gals) in here with Ameritrade and E-trade, and some other brokers, were all reporting they had their shares; I was wondering what the hold up was.
