I had a few minutes this morning and decided to run through the last 2 years of News Releases (as per SEDAR) to come up with some interesting stats.
Mostly for entertainment value...
AAA Allana Potash over the last 2 years has released their news on the following days :
Monday - 14 times
Tuesday - 7 times
Wednesday - 8 times
Thursday - 6 times
Friday - 1 time
News release times:
Between 07:00am EST & 10:00am EST
23 Times
10:00am EST & later
13 Times
If I was a gambling man, I would have to put money on Wednesday morning!
Discussions from a sister forum :
"1. At a bare minimum AAA has to release some news this week"
They must have Water Testing done...
Also Farhad said at the AGM (Jan 20) that SOP results are a couple weeks away - TIMES UP!
"2. ICL wont want SOP results released if there truly is more companies interested in AAA"
My guess is Farahd has the results and AAA & interested companies are working behind the scenes.
"3. So ICL makes there move next week( or they may have already) or AAA releases SOP results and ICL risks paying way more and possibly entering a bidding war."
If ICL has any intentions of increasing their involvement with AAA Allana we will not see SOP Results for this very reason. Why would they release them and potentially have to pay more??
"4. There is never any news and stock trades at .30 forever.lol"
Stick to the Facts and avoid speculation - We know this will be a successful project one way or another.
Oops sorry all for my repost.
This brings light to the article about Salt Lake looking for a JV African potash project!
Would ICL want another partner involved?
Can any one comment on ICL's "first right of refusal" in regards to time line and when that "right" expires?
Allana Danakhil Project Due Diligence Meeting held in Chonfa
Source: China BlueStar Changsha Design and Research InstitDate: 2014-12-22
On December 18, a due diligence meeting for Allana Danakhil Potash Project in Ethiopia was held in Chonfar. Representatives from China Communications Construction Company Ltd., Qinghai Salt Lake Industry Group Company Ltd. Allana Potash Company from Canada, and Ercosplan Ingenieurgesellschaft Geotechnik und Bergau(ERCOSPLAN ) participated the discussion. On half of the Institute , Liu Xiaoli, the Vice president and chief engineer delivered a warm welcome to all the guests.
As a great honor, Chonfar is commissioned to undertake the feasibility study for Allana Danakhil project, which located within the Danakhil Depression, Afar State, Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia. This is the first time for Chonfar to undertake a potash project in Ethiopia.
The meeting went on for two days, during which all representatives had deep and thorough communications and discussions about the project technologies. What’s more, Mr. Liu Xiaoli also introduced the new client Chonfar’s achievements and business home and abroad, including the ongoing potash project in Africa—Mengo Potash project in the Republic of Congo. Mr. Liu Xiaoli analyzed and compared the two projects from multi aspects, presenting the new partners with Chonfar’s technological competitiveness in potash field.
Could this be AAA Allana Potash they're talking about?????????? :)
Qinghai Salt Lake in talks to enter a JV African potash project
By JAMES SEAN DICKSON
Published: Wednesday, 11 February 2015
One of the largest potash companies in the world, Qinghai Salt Lake’s apparent ambitions in Africa have global significance potential. The company has primarily operated in China until now, indicating that it may be willing to extend operations beyond its domestic roots.
Chinese potash major Qinghai Salt Lake Industry Co. Ltd has recently been in discussions with an African company for the joint venture (JV) development of a project located within its jurisdiction.
Qinghai Salt Lake did not name the company or country involved, explaining that sensitive political, legal, economic, environmental, and...

OGI you forgot to pretend that your an engineer from over sees who barely speaks English.
"LOL" @ YOU
Someone should keep a Tally on all your predictions.
You and Brian Williams are in a foot race for credibility scraps.
AAA share price has been solid in anticipation of all the news coming down the pipe.
I imagine some people will grow impatient and move on - that's their choice.
In my opinion they're going to be kicking themselves if they do.
Cheeky I think your a little off...
Or maybe they're trying to figure out if they're going to give us ICL shares or Cash...

ICL conference call Feb 11
Borgas seems very secretive about Allana, slightly mentions the project and not even mentions Allana by name in his general presentation its just "the Ethiopian potash project".
Then on the Q&A he can`t dodge anymore when on a direct question about further investment in Ethiopia at about 49:00 min into the session:
We haven`t made any announcment on whether or not we go the next step we are still contemplating that the discussions are ongoing and there is still technical things to be sorted out
Then it get interesting again at 1:00:30-1:01:50 when Borgas is loosening his tongue a bit regarding Allana when talking about the expiring license at the DSW in Israel.
"If it can be excecuted the way we vindicated, this will do two things this will further reduce our cost of goods of the entire portfolio and together with spain we will then have enough capacity to potentially replace the entire volume at the Dead Sea..."
One more thing I did find to be of interest to us on the topic of potash sales in China:
We are not nervous at all about not being able to sell to China or having increased competition there, If there is one thing we`re nervous about it`s not having enough potash available because our production increases are coming a little bit later.

Although I think you're completely wrong I truly enjoy reading your poetic opinions

SDIC Xinjiang Luobupo Potash Co. Is the largest SOP producer in the world.

If AAA Allana Potash can produce 2-3 MT/YEAR of SOP.. I'll let you do the math on that one.

Every Company has their "bashers"...
A few more seem to be appearing on this forum. I really do appreciate their views.
Regardless of who may or may not be interested in AAA Allana Potash we're still on the horizon of a few (expected to be positive) major news releases.
The biggest news anticipated is that AAA could have the potential to be one of the biggest SOP mines in the world. Pending the SOP PEA.
AAA Allana Potash market capacity is based on MOP alone.
This news alone IN MY OPINION could push the Share price well over $0.60. I picked that number because I think that's a really safe bet. In the end the market will determine the value.
Just my personal opinion.
Do your own research. Please share your predictions of a successful SOP PEA.

Justin - Thank you for the time and research you have put into every one of your posts. I speak for many when I say this.
Ogi - for you to invest any money solely based on what someone on the internet said is insane. You deserve to lose every penny.
Luckily for you (and you're obviously too naive to realize at this point) Justin is one of the most informed and up to date investors I know of involved with AAA Allana Potash.
Do some research of your own before you buy anything - if you would have looked into AAA you would know why in frustrated with you.
If you're unhappy, cut your losses and sell your shares.
I'll by them

They are talking about a spin-off company for SOP production. They're probably doing that for a couple of reasons:
1. The spinoff company can raise funds without diluting AAA shareholders. Obviously AAA shareholders would be owners of the spinoff company shares as well, but it does provide useful separation between the two projects. SOP won't production until later than MOP, so it gives shareholders who don't want to wait for that an opportunity to sell their interest there. It also ensures that they don't raise the float on AAA shares.
2. It will probably spin off for existing shareholders, which means ICL (which hasn't exercised its 3 year warrants yet) will get less of the new company unless they exercise their warrants before the spin off happens. Either scenario is positive for shareholders. In one case, ICL gets less of the pie of the new company. Given how cheaply they got their stake in AAA I could go for some of that. In the other case (ICL exercises warrants early) it's a clear indication that they intend to take out AAA and that should provide earlier share appreciation for anyone that wants to exit as well as boost overall market confidence in the company.

Haha Agreed!
They could potentially have that back in a years time!

You're very eloquent - no debate.
But you're forgetting about the SOP results.
There's multiple companies "Licking their chops" right now. All wanting a piece of AAA Allana Potash.
They (New Parties) will have to make an *extremely* good offer because ICL has first right of refusal if another company wants to buy them. It's written into the 50 page agreement.
Will they even release SOP results? I don't think they will. The new parties wouldn't want to bring any more attention to this opportunity. Especially ICL would not want any more attention brought to it.
Farhad Abasov of AAA Allana Potash said on Tuesday at the AGM SOP results will be within the next two weeks.
Tick Tock. Tick Tock.

Iceberg Orders and Market Manipulation:
The share price has been manipulated heavily today. Held at $0.34.
Anybody with level 2 quotes knows that something is happening soon.
In my opinion you guys are not accurate and Allana's got something big up her sleeve.
Very Interesting.
To Vote at the meeting you must be a shareholder by Jan 27. My thoughts would be that something will be announced before that (Jan 27).
-Does this have anything to do with AAA Allana Potash ?
who knows, but I'm not going to sell a single share and possibly miss this boat!
AAA Allana Potash TSX
Farhad Abasov, Allana's President & CEO commented, "The Potash for Growth program initiated by ICL in conjunction with its partners (including Allana) in Ethiopia is an important undertaking in advancing the rapid development of modern agriculture in the country. We are glad to see such a serious commitment from ICL to the development and growth of agriculture and fertilizer sectors in Ethiopia.

ICL Launches "Potash for Growth" Program in Ethiopia
"Commenting on the Potash for Growth program, Stefan Borgas, President & CEO of ICL, said, "We are honored to play a role in Ethiopia's rapidly growing agricultural sector by contributing our broad expertise in helping farmers to optimize their agricultural output, as well as our financial support, to enable Ethiopian government agencies to boost the country's agricultural productivity. We believe that the Potash for Growth program will yield substantial benefits for the Ethiopian farming community, and, in the long-run, for food security in Ethiopia. By partnering with Ethiopia's Ministry of Agriculture, Regional Bureaus of Agriculture and the ATA, we hope to demonstrate the vital role of balanced fertilization in creating sustainable food production in Ethiopia."
