Seeking Alpha is literally the most reputable location for obtaining stock related news and opinions. You're super cute comparing it to a street sweeper.
You're definitely overstating how much the government is willing to interfere. If MO wants this and BTI becomes interested, they will bid against MO until the better offer comes out ahead. Government interference would be excessive and uncalled for.
Ok, and did someone try to buy Microsoft while they were a smallcap, only to have the FTC reject the sale?
If someone wanted to buy XXII, they would be able to buy XXII. It's a small-cap, no one would care.
Let the man work. He's more likely to make money if he doesn't spend his time answering your questions. That's what conference calls are for.
Hemp should be decent for some temporarily boosting revenue in the short term, however the technology become significantly less useful when we fully legalize weed. Maybe we'll still be able to do something with it internationally after. They still need to focus on tobacco related stuff for long term profits.
It is a nice article but there's no new evidence suggesting an impending buyout.
Anyone know why it's up so much in pre-market?
I've been here since the end of 2013 now. No chance I'm leaving, just happy to finally break even, that's all :D.
Yay, finally hit my break-even.
Poor choice. Buy that back immediately. No reason you can't have both. A real investor NEVER sells MO.
Fair enough. Just like those neighborhoods I'm pretty ready for some appreciation in share price :). Been here since November '13 just patiently waiting haha.
It would have been a fantastic investment so I don't know what you're trying to say.
Of course pepperoni has nicotine. Real men pour vaping liquid on their food.
Nothing good happens when we talk about this going up ^^
This is nice but it doesn't address the Magic issues in Europe. Is new magic ready for sale? Are we selling the old version of magic to Australia?
I don't see that changing too much in the near term. My recommendation would be to either keep holding and focus attention elsewhere or to purchase a small trading position that you can offload whenever we make the move back to 1.50. That will keep things interesting.
XXII submitted the app within the time-frame they stated last year. FDA is operating as per usual with any application. I don't see why you're upset.
Now you know not to buy penny stocks on margin. Valuable life lesson.
Do you guys not have other investments to keep you busy? There's clearly nothing to see here right now, complaining won't fix that. Come back later.
Got a source for that?
I'm not nearly as concerned as you are.
IMO we'd have to have a year with some actual profits before any talk of a buyout becomes realistic. Maybe in 2017.
No one agrees.
Well would you look at that.
They even got it in before the end of the year haha. This is by far their longest and most comprehensive news release yet. I look forward to a great 2016.
"The Federal Reserve Board's Regulation T requires brokers to "freeze" accounts that commit freeriding violations for 90 days. Accounts with this restriction can still trade but cannot purchase stocks with unsettled sale proceeds (stocks take three days to settle).[1]"
I wouldn't mind that at all. Would more than make up for my Altria downgrade losses for the day. Temp losses anyway, not like these analysts actually know anything anyway :).
Glad we're in agreement then.
SA is absolutely no different than you guys here. Just a place for people to share ideas. Would you perhaps also like to be held accountable for every line of unjustified BS that comes out of your mouth?
Good stuff, thanks!
Anyone know when the next earnings are supposed to be released?
My opinions are very positive, I'm not angry, but I am realistic. Just like you I've been chilling on this board for a few years listening to an insurmountable amount of unfounded price targets, both on the high and low ends. It gets old really quick, but sadly you gotta sort through it to read the useful stuff most people post. But hey, we know what we own. Hard to be too annoyed when the future is so bright.
For literally today? Obviously too high. It will eventually get there, but not because some random person on a message board predicts it with no justification. Personally I'm out of cash for buying more, not to mention that this is 10% of my portfolio, as much as i'll ever go on one speculative position.

1.85? You can't just make up numbers with no justification like that. I lied, you totally can, that's like 75% of what this board does.
All I know is XXII is way better positioned as a company now vs the end of 2013 when I first found it :). Makes it really easy to keep holding my shares. My Break even point is 1.55 haha, will feel nice finally crossing that again in the future.
Nice :). I found this stock on Thursday too. A Thursday late in 2013 >_>. We're in approximately the same boat profit wise hahahaha. Long XXII and holding forever regardless.
And we don't already have large corporations that are threatened by our tobacco plant patents and potential for reduced risk monopoly? It's not really any different. Henry is probably used to it :). You're right though, there won't be as much push-back with CBD. I just feel like other companies are more likely to be working on that already, compared to growing legal hemp so there's less money to be made.
I'm honestly more interested in the business prospects of commercial hemp than medical marijuana. Would be a much bigger home run.
