Actually they can thank me, I got on the phone, and have been working on an SA article as well.
I said that.
That's what I got off the phone with him about earlier today. I told him recent SA articles have caused investors to reassess the legitimacy of what they own in regards to the merger. The PR says, in no forward-looking language, that the merger is done, filed and accepted by Florida.
If you own SPLI, you own Vapor Group. Ticker and name change to follow.
I hope it happens - it'd be great for the business.
I will never believe that it will happen until I actually see it. Way too much risk involved. My career is in operational and regulatory risk management. There is no way it makes sense for them, at least not in the current legal environment.
I have a bridge in Brooklyn to sell you.
Dude, you need to use your head. Would Starbucks even bother going through all of the licensing requirements to even have one of those in a minute percentage of its locations? New investors cannot be receiving or hearing fluffed information. It's bad form.
You CANNOT get shook in this. Put the money back in NOW.
You also probably shouldn't have your entire retirement in penny stocks man...
EVERYONE should be locking their shares at $1+ so they can't be borrowed for the shorting scum of the earth to sell off.
That article is fraudulent. I can't even begin to pick everything apart that's wrong with it.
Everyone should be buying the hell out of this dip. The price will never, ever, ever be seen again. This is a coordinated short attack.
Completely disagree. California Republicans are on board with at least medical mmj, and a bunch of states (I believe the figure is 17) will be voting this year on at least introducing medical marijuana (two states will vote for legalization).
It doesn't have to be legalized at the federal level. If they just don't take a stand federally and let the citizens decide, that would make much more sense... at least to me. But again, this is politics, good ideas come at a premium.
I disagree with the notion that a swing to the right means bad news for these stocks. Especially with business-friendly conservatives... they are not immune to the smell of money, and when other states get a whiff of the tax revenue that can be had (and inevitably the dirty money falling into their own pockets), I think their minds will change. Especially for the big corporations who will be able to realize huge profits off the sector - who will then lobby conservatives to ease off.
I'm an independent who leans slightly to the right, but socially liberal. I also smoke pot. Even if states don't have it explicitly legalized for recreational use, these stocks can still make a killing even if bud is made available only to medical patients.
I personally think all projections we've seen are still conservative. I dabble in marijuana every now and then and I have friends who do and from everything I've seen and experienced... this is going to be frickin huge. The entire industry. Gotta find the right pieces that will make the puzzle, but if you do, you will be a rich, rich man.
I think the sales rev figures go up once there's a little more maturity in the market... there are still operational efficiencies to be had (ZaZZ machine from ERB* cutting down lines, new product innovation, etc)
Colorado alone will see in excess of $1B in tax revenue this year from marijuana sales. We are getting into this in its INFANCY.
Think end of Prohibition meets California gold rush. And weed is more valuable than gold, which is the funny thing.
You're investing in a pot stock but don't know the significance of 4/20?
I've had to take a hiatus from the board for my sanity soon after I joined. I guess success brings all walks of life.
This is entirely false. I don't care who you know, these are issues that are settled by citizens at the voting booth. 2016 election is when most states will make their next steps... many will decriminalize, some will accept medical marijuana, and a few will legalize.
Wolfpack is mostly comprised of longs. Don't fear what you don't know.
"This POS stock"
But you're not here to bash, right?
No, because the 7-figure revenue statement was made in a PR.
How old are you? I'm seriously asking.
This stock never reached that point. It was a fat finger buy.
It's a legitimate question, but we don't have the physical numbers to back it up, for a few reasons: one, the The Vapor Group was private; two, they haven't released earnings yet. We do have a PR that explicitly states that The Vapor Group has seven-figure revenues.
We will find out soon whether or not it's truly the case, but we aren't discussing it because there's just nothing to discuss. You either believe the private company has seven-figure revenues or you don't, just like the rest of the stocks in penny land that lack total transparency.
I corrected him. He confused Vapor Holdings (VAPE) with Vapor Group.
Yup. Probably the most annoying theme we will see later this week is WHERE'S THE MACHINE? Hopefully they sell if they're that worried about it, so we A) don't have to hear about it anymore and B) so we can get cheap shares.
On the other hand there's always the option that the machine does roll out or we at least get a nice PR with details about it and we start our rocket launch. That'd be nice too.
This is a rumor, and is incorrectly interpreted as fact.
ERBB never directly said this. Do not expect that the end of this week we will see roll out.
You should expect some kind of release-related news by end of month, however.
I think you're confusing VAPE (Vapor Holdings) with The Vapor Group, which is private. SPLI and the Vapor Group are merging, and there will be a ticker change.
The SEC is DRAGGING ITS FEET, but I'm just impatiently waiting to go to 50 cent (pot brownie points for whoever sees what I just did there)
Then if the people who want to sell on false information want to do so, let them. I'll buy up the shares; I don't want shares in the hands of people who aren't serious about the facts anyway.
The chart says sell?
Turn it upside down. You're welcome.
Do you mean an ulterior motive?
Here's a simple explanation for that... I would argue that the number of people who have access to top secret gov't information still exceeds the number of people who have access to this machine right now.
Why would they release a photo of their unpatented machine? So someone else can copy it and perhaps beat them to market? The first time that you will see this is once it's placed. It makes zero sense from a competitive perspective to let anyone even sniff it, especially a potential money maker like this. I'm a former product developer, there is ZERO cause for concern yet.
They have 3 other companies who have put their reputations on the line (Beyond Mars Edibles, The Vapor Group aka SPLI, and Herbal Elements) by publicly announcing partnerships with the ZaZZZ machine. THIS TIME AROUND, there is a lot more to lose by not hitting their deadline than in the past. They now have their customers and partners' reputations on their shoulders, who risk disappointed customers if this is not fulfilled.
I would give this until the end of March. If they don't roll out by then, by all means, be concerned. I have been a part of the development and QA processes for confidential products. There is NO WAY we would have ever given anyone even a sniff of what was going on behind closed doors if we thought there was a market out there from which our product could inhale money from consumers.
Give them until the end of March. If they still haven't rolled out, then definitely start asking questions and be a little more concerned.
It's amazing how many people lose sight of the value of patience, ain't it?
It's a damn virtue for a reason!
I see people like you freaking out and asking for all the answers to be handed to you all the time on this board. If you think it's a red flag, then get out. That simple. Otherwise, understand the risk you are taking on, understand the company's business model, understand the risks they run, read every single freaking PR you can find and then read even more. Read opinions. Then analyze it. There's plenty of stuff out there... but iHub isn't going to make you successful at this game - your time and effort will.
If the only thing you understand is what the red and green price movements mean, then you shouldn't be investing. I'm not trying to be a dick, but you need to get this information and put a little more effort into your research. It's more like "tough love" instead of "being a dick". I want you to make money on this... because then I make money on this too. But you're not going to make money over night on these things.
If I was being a dick, I wouldn't have bothered to give you the rational thoughts that go on in my head. Red flags pop up everywhere in penny land... you know what's also had tons of red flags pop up? SPL*. The sky is the limit over there.
Your laziness is really amazing. You need to do some deeper digging. Part of the risk investing in these stocks is that there's a lack of information... you need to connect the dots yourself. Actually putting some effort into your DD instead of asking everyone else for the immediate answers will work wonders for you.
Short answer - no it did not happen; long answer - there are plenty of legitimate reasons for it. As a former product developer and financial consultant, I can attest to this. They were too aggressive on their timeline; they want to make sure full compliance with state laws so they avoid negative PR, ensure they have a solid round of QA before deploying a potentially buggy machine, and want to keep eyes off their non-patented product until it's 100% working and they are comfortable with its functions.
If you don't see it by the end of THIS month, then even I will have to start re-evaluating. Execution is key... we are all betting on this, but we are also assuming they can execute. THIS TIME they have a lot more to lose from pushing back machine release... they have business partners (Herbal Elements dispensary, Vapor Group, Beyond Mars Edibles) who have publicly stated that they are either going to be a recipient of the machine within the next couple of weeks (in Herbal Elements' case) or are being wound up into the ZaZZZ product line (Vapor Group, BeyondMars). The dispensary and these other companies risk disappointed customers now that their name and affiliation with ERBB is public.
PATIENCE!
At the end of the day, this is your call. No one can make your mind up for you, and one way or the other you have to take a leap of faith. I've seen more than enough and thought hard enough, ON MY OWN, to think this is legitimate and a cash cow.
D'oh. Always feel dumb when I misread the sentiment through text. My b man.
Totally agree, this will take off sooner or later, hopefully .08 by EOD Fri.
Yeah, but there's also no sense in us trying to tell them to make up their minds. He's clearly bashing so he can buy back in at lower PPS.
We'll never get rid of them. Just block them so you don't get annoyed. Or do what I do and just hit nexr post.
You're hysterical.
There's 1 of 2 things - this is either the biggest scam that the MMJ industry will have seen, or it's going to be one of the biggest players in the market.
My money is firmly set in place on which option.
I don't care how savvy scammers are... to coordinate something this large would be near impossible, with so many different names involved.
Dude, don't make such crazy assertions. You know how long it has taken just to get to this point? There will come a point where this will be a rocket, but making statements like that will only lead to your disappointment. Set low expectations so they get blown away, not high expectations that frustrate you.
Love the optimism though. Will def reach .20 at some point, just don't think it'll be nearly overnight like you seem to suggest.
Just block him. He wants cheaper shares.
Sent out via Tranzbyte's emailing list. Will be out tomorrow.
I own very large positions in both Tranzbyte and Vapor Group. I may quit my job after tomorrow with this news.
Why do you think you would find any of these? Do some research, it's not hard to figure out they haven't released any real photos yet. And they probably won't until the machine has been placed.
I'm not sure why people keep posting something about decriminalization in response to my posts. I responded to the first person who said DC was legalizing pot that there was a difference between legalization, what he claimed was going on, and decriminalization, which is what was actually going on. Then someone else posted another link to DC decriminalizing weed, so I thought okay, that's what I said. And then you linked me to a list of states that have decriminalized weed.
Am I missing something here? In case you do not know, decriminalization of marijuana means that you will not be arrested for having less than a state-mandated amount of weed. It is still illegal - you can still be fined for it and they take your weed (probably about $100 - that is what it is in Massachusetts). It is certainly not a green light for dispensaries to start being built (as marijuana is still illegal under this status), nor is it a place where a Zazz machine will be found. Decriminalization can be a step toward legalization, but is it not legalization. Hopefully people haven't confused the two terms.
