Too bad I'm in Sicily right now or I'd go to this NY conference
The city wonders why there are no other bids? Bureaucracy at its finest
My td app isn't even working. I think it's overloaded
Remember when this stock used to rise when a PR came out? Good ole days
Windmills will mess his hair. Solar won't. Lol
How is Trump on solar?
I really hate seeing that high of 8.88. It make it sound like we had a huge drop that we never recovered. That wasn't a real ops at that moment in my mind
It will be interesting to see who he appoints to this position. I always thought Jim has too many responsibilities in the company. He is constantly traveling promoting us, getting investors, seeking acquisitions, etc. the bigger we get the more difficult that is as well. He said up to 6 acquisitions in 18 months?? If things run smoothly. That's insane! I hope there is a shareholders meeting in November we can attend.
He is hiring someone to solely work on getting a manufacturer. It seems to have been taking too much of his time while building the business
It's amazing thanks. I'll look into what I missed when I get back to hotel for wifi
Wish I could call in but I'll be hiking the Machu Picchu mountain tomorrow :/
You can't really blame Jim because a city employee was unprepared. Obviously we gave him all the information he needs or else it wouldn't be up for discussion. The guy kept saying he has it but he's gotta get it. It was very disappointing to watch and I knew after the first request for information it would go downhill. I mean I'm not going anywhere. This job was a bonus to the predicted revenue so all is well :/
You're the one that said missed open net lol

They keep asking about local contractors like who cares? Now he just wondered if panels are American made lol I had a feeling the panel would be like this after the long debate of confederate flag
That council member is gonna get hate mail and phone calls from unhappy investors lol. Now we're looking at August 20th because not enough information was provided for this meeting
My thought exactly. Unprepared! It's time sensitive for that interest rate
Is that Jim sitting in the back?? Lol
What time will it be on? Someone will post a link in sure
Pissed I'm gonna miss that conference call. I'll be out of the country.
Even if you believe or don't believe the climate change theory there is nothing bad about clean renewable energy. All planet resources are limited so don't feel greedy because you'll make a profit lol
I saw Apple wants to make their next iPhone solar powered. It would be nice to have our 3d technology on it
I think we're breaking some personal records today
Holy shit. What an ass
Solar3D’s SUNworks Division Contracted by Several California-Based Agricultural Companies for Solar System Installation
Company continues to diversify its agricultural client portfolio with unique project installation requests
SANTA BARBARA, CA – (July 17, 2015) - Solar3D, Inc. (NASDAQ:SLTD), a leading provider of solar power solutions and the developer of a proprietary high efficiency solar cell, announced today that its operating division SUNworks has been contracted by multiple California-based agricultural organizations to implement over 700 kilowatts in solar power. The contracts total approximately $1,500,000 in sales and are designed to achieve over $9 million in cost savings for the customers over the next 25 years.
Danamark Walnut, a prominent farming organization in Central California since 1930, produces high-quality walnuts from two locations, Stockton and Linden. The company prides itself on being environmentally friendly, as their orchards cleanse the planet’s air of over 10,000 tons of carbon dioxide each year. Danamark Walnut’s request for a rooftop 368.2kW Huller system and rooftop 111.6kw office system reflects their commitment to sustainability within the region, while the projects are expected to provide the farm approximately $4.5 million in energy cost-savings over the next 25 years.
Established in 1958, Bear River Supply serves its clients in the agricultural, turf and ornamental industries with crop nutrients, crop protection products and services. In order to reduce long-term and short-term energy costs, the company requested SUNworks install a 46.4kW roof panel for their supply house in Rio Oso, CA.
Family-owned and operation COE Orchard Equipment has been depended on by farms in the region as a leading manufacturer of top-of-the-line orchard equipment. SUNworks will be tasked with the installation of a 192.3kW DC Roof Mount designed to achieve more than $4.2M in cost savings over the next 25 years.
“The strongest indication of our agricultural success throughout the California region is the volume of incoming and organic leads we are generating,” said Abe Emard, CEO of SUNworks. “Farmers are a very intelligent demographic with equal emphasis on being cost-minded and ensuring sustainability throughout their region. Our team understands the needs and motivations of those within the industry, especially in California and Nevada, which has resulted in a strong relationship between our brand and the high-growth agricultural sector.”

This is painful to watch
Someone else got it?
I'm not expecting a good day with the financial situation in Greece. It has a dominos effect. I'm glad we had positive PR today to slow the bleeding a bit
You had me doing some reading lol. Glad Alex had explanation. I saw Dr David Lee is the CEO of that company. So who is bringing this to Jim's attention?
Any reaction to this news will happen tomorrow. I'm not expecting much but this is a huge contract we didn't even know was in the works while wondering about Fresno.
Solar3D’s SUNworks Division Secures $3 Million in Two New Agricultural Solar Contracts
Company continues to draw interest from farming organizations seeking to realize long and short term cost savings
SANTA BARBARA, CA – (June 16, 2015) - Solar3D, Inc. (NASDAQ:SLTD), a leading provider of solar power solutions and the developer of a proprietary high efficiency solar cell, announced today that it has just secured a $2 million contract for the design and installation of an agricultural solar project for Payne Brothers Ranches (Payne Farms) in Woodland, California; and an approximately $1,000,000 contract to design and install a photovoltaic system for a large rice farm based in Pleasant Grove, California.
Established in 1963 and led by Robert and William A. Payne, Payne Brothers Ranches has developed a stellar reputation for producing high quality produce. Located in Woodland, CA, the farm is seeking a photovoltaic system that will reduce high-energy costs and achieve both short-term and long-term savings. To address these objectives, SUNworks presented a plan for the implementation of a 1 megawatt (MW) DC fixed tilt ground mount solar system designed to provide power for 19 wells and a nut hulling facility. Following construction, it is anticipated that the system will achieve cost savings for the farm of more than $7.2 million over a period of 25 years.
The Pleasant Grove rice farm, owned and operated by Richard and Laura Nelson, is yet another agricultural organization to turn to SUNworks for the purposes of implementing a solar system that would improve energy efficiencies and reduce overall costs. The system, a 435 kilowatt (kW) fixed ground mount, will provide the farm with the ability to offset multiple meters from a single installation, or interconnection point, through Aggregated Net Metering. It is anticipated that the system will achieve cost savings for the farm of approximately $4.8 million over a period of 25 years.
“Our team continues to generate organic interest from farming organizations throughout the region who turn to the SUNworks team for energy solutions tailored to meet the needs of their operation,” said Abe Emard, CEO of SUNworks. “These partnerships, like many before them, are results of our track record for providing the absolute highest quality yet cost effective solar systems for those within the agricultural industry.”
“SUNworks has cemented its reputation as a premier provider of solar to the agricultural industry, a high growth area for which solar energy is ideally suited,” said Jim Nelson, CEO of Solar3D. “We believe this trend will only grow as the price of solar steadily declines. With our customer service track record of providing not only results, but ongoing support, we are confident that the agricultural community will continue to respond with organic referrals.”

Looks like a lot of buying today actually
We were green all day. Sucks to close red again
At the presentation Jim said although it states up to $30 mil, he is really looking up to $50 mil company acquisitions
Still sounds undervalued but I'll take it for now
I appreciate these forecasts. Pretty accurate I think for how the day starts at least.
