I'm invested in PHOT and took an initial position in VSUL, but I'm not in the other stocks so I can't really comment on them. The simple answer is IDK. Also, the connection between VSUL and PHOT (as far as working together) is highly speculative at this point. So, we'll see, but VSUL looks pretty solid and .07 seems to be the bottom.
Understood and Agreed. VSUL in my opinion is great technology with great potential and is absolutely not reliant on the MJ market. That being said, what I'm interested in is seeing this pps go up in a short amount of time. We seem to have different strategies, I'm trying to flip this for now, but who knows, maybe I may invest in this. I believe the MJ sector will continue to balloon and if this stock is associated with MJ, then the influx of new money could find its way here as well. GLTY go VSUL!
This stock needs volume. I will wait awhile and give this a chance because there are huge possibilities with a POSSIBLE connection between VSUL and PHOT. The technology from VSUL could be the logistics solution for Growlife and Growlife costumers. And with the connection to PHOT, VSUL connects itself to the MJ sector which is a scalding hot sector with new money jumping in every day. We will see. Cross my fingers.
From my limited DD on STBV in relation to PHOT: the only connection I heard of between the two was what was on the STBV i hub message board. It said they were in negotiations with PHOT. IMO, IF they are talking, PHOT holds all the leverage as they can and will pick and choose who gets GIFTs. That being the case, If STBV doesn't measure up then no skin off of PHOT's back, but bad for STBV; or STBV could measure up and get the GIFT. I truly hope the latter is the case so STBV fans can make money. I personally find that there are "other" plays I can make so I'm staying away from STBV for now. Good luck to you!
Long and Strong. IMO, the long term trend is... well... BEAST! with a pair of bull horns. Good luck Longs, it's getting more and more exciting as the weeks progress here.
ROFL - I tried catching the falling knife with FITX and bought in at .0025, only to sell later at .0012 (at the time, I should have dumped earlier at .002, but I waited too long). So I buried FITX from my mind and bought a second and later a third block of PHOT for under .04. To think, my worst nightmare and best dream coming together. I'm reading Carl Jung tonight for fun. GLTY
thank you
Ah, nevermind, they are going to grow. WOW, congratulations Long FITXers. I should have kept my 300k shares :)
an FITX deal with PHOT would mean that FITX is doing something with growing marijuana. Could you elaborate on what FITX is doing in the marijuana sector? Im ignorant as the last time I looked into FITX a few months ago, they were only connected to mj because they were thinking of putting hemp into one of their powder formulas. Something new occurred? A picture is just a picture.
I agree. our one to two year trend is looking good if the GIFT contracts are as I suspect. I like the a/s increase, it signifies that big contracts and mergers are on its way. The pps may fall back to a dime, I have a few grand waiting to buy shares if it does, but who knows at this point. A r/s will probably be in the works at some point, but I do not see it in the near future, as I do not see PHOT fully diluting all 1.8b a/s shares at once and without benefit. I simply trust Sterling and Growlife's management team. I suspect a lot of others here do as well, they are just smart enough not to post here like us. No one's fooling anyone on IHUB, no one here is that important. GLTY
everyone should read sticky post 45990 before k wises up and takes it down ROFL - Go PHOT long!
We all have a relative position only to our own position. I hate when people here try to speak for more than themselves. I don't think anyone here is going to care about your money other than yourself. I suggest people make up their own minds. I will have a nice conversation about the proxy with a friend of mine and make a decision. I will not make a decision by what anyone here posts. Remember, we all have different styles and positions here (and motives), so I can't tell anyone else what is in their best interest. I'm focused on a multi year trend that I think is bullish, some may be focusing on a monthly trend which recently has the pps going down, I guess, I'm not too concerned with it.
GLTA - I appreciate the players on this board, just right now its getting a little thick - I'm sure my vote wouldn't matter regardless but I'll participate. Go PHOT! LooooooooonG
Part of the reason the pps is this high is because of the 40 million CANX deal. As part of the agreement, some 400+ million shares will be diluted. PHOT will have an o/s of about 1.2 billion and an a/s of 1.8 billion. The question I have is what the 1.8 billion will be used for. IMO, what seems reasonable is that Growlife will use it for protection from take-overs, acquisitions, and more lucrative GIFT and KIOSK deals. I reason that 1) PHOT got GIFTS and the industry is exploding (no brainer), and 2) They are targeting more brick and mortar locations to get their logistic and distribution needs taken care of. There are 12 stores now, and going off what others in the past have said, it sounds like they want around 30 locations. Makes sense to me. There could be a positive outcome for us here.
I appreciate your dd here. GLTY
From Monday's pr: "The new line will allow GrowLife to expand margins in future G.I.F.T. transactions by capturing increased revenue with its new proprietary line."
IMO - they already have deals because "future" is being used as an existential quantifier, as in, there are other contracts besides "future" such as "present". Plus they are expediting production.
GLTY
Agree. But it is easy for me because my shares are essentially free because I flipped some other mj stocks. IMO, Growlife will become a multi billion dollar juggernaut in this industry. I'm not suggesting what others here do, everyone's situation is relative only to their own situation, but I do not like when people try to speak for the majority or entirety of the people who follow this board. Just to be clear: I've been here since June and have not sold a share yet. I'm expecting GIFT news and clarification about the a/s increase like everyone else, but I'll wait patiently because I trust Rob and Sterling are concerned about the shareholders (they've been upfront with us so far). Then, if the news is to MY satisfaction, I will vote yes and hang on to my shares.
People are right to be concerned, I am, but i'll give them more than a day or two :) GLTA go PHOT!
cbd is produced naturally in your body and it promotes healing processes in your body. Ingesting cbd kick starts this process. There are instances where cannabis oil have seemed to reverse the cancer. thc helps with pain and nausea. You cannot overdose from mj because you only have so many receptors for thc/cbd. Which is also why, smoking more when you're already lit is simply a waste of good weed. It may be a cure for certain types of cancer, we have to wait for the scientific method to run its course and determine this. IMO, it does!
Also, this happened about a month or so ago. It came back up in a couple of days
Cannabis.org is a side/pet project of Rob and Sterling's. Growlife owns it, but it has no bearing in our situation. Growlife has about 50 employees, most work in the brick and mortar stores, so they are slammed busy right now with GIFT (Rob and Sterling). So much so, they cannot even work on the KIOSK till about spring. So, cannabis.org has no one to maintain it right now basically. I do not worry about that site as far as it affecting the pps. GO PHOT LooooNG - GLT ya
Now after a whole bunch of new traders/investors survived the mj sector roller coaster ride, and do a little DD of the different companies, a lot of them will end up here at PHOT and/or TRTC. There may be other legitimate mj stocks, but the two I know and have shares in are the two fore mentioned. The rest I stay away from because I am not a trader (yet anyway) and still have a lot to learn about it. If I sorta ignore the craziness of this week, I think PHOT and TRTC is ahead of schedule as far as pps, we still are waiting for information on the GIFT contracts and such.
Today was probably a good day to buy a block in both companies, but what do I know, lol, I think PHOT holds above .18, and when news hits, if it's good, we head to the 30's. Hopefully the sector settles down a bit, other players with different trading styles will disagree, but for us Longs, having predictable patterns over the last few months was priceless. What was my point, oh ya, keep holding Longs, we are not even close to being done.
GLTA Go PHOT!
lol - yup - .25 - thanks for pointing it out
For the Longs that have been here awhile and plan on sticking it out, I think today was needed. Yesterday was fun, but we all knew that the entire sector was being pumped and the inevitable fall back to reality was coming. The positives is simple, we are up what 60 - 70% in a week, and what's looking to be a solid floor forming in the twenties; 18 at the lowest. AND... we still didn't get our anticipated GIFT news and other fun positive surprises. I was a little taken aback by the sudden drop. On my first break, we were in the forties, at lunch, we were in the twenties. I was shell-shocked but after absorbing the emotional roller coaster ride, I am actually pleased at the outcome. For the newbies, short term and day traders, I sympathize with you if you lost money but this message isn't intended for you so please take no offense to my satisfaction. In short, I plan on keeping, Haven't sold a share and not planning to for at least 10 months if not longer. Six months ago, I was wishing we would have solid support at .09 by the end of '13, and .025 by the end of '14, so just to remind myself and to try to keep this past week in perspective.
The similarities between TRTC and PHOT pps over the last few days is raising a lot of "positive" flags for me. I wonder hmmm...
GLTA PHOT!
Go PHOT! I'm guessing that "good" GIFT news is already being factored into the pps, so I don't expect fireworks when news is announced, unless it is something crazy good. This is a 50 person company with seven brick and mortar stores, I'm thinking it will take some time. But either way, I think we continue upwards, I just think at a slower pace which suits my strategy just fine. I do think we hit 30's soon, just not the crazy 50 or 100 percent gains I've been seeing elsewhere. I feel RELATIVELY safe here and in the other. Everyone have a good day, GLTA
Why must the market open at 4:30 am, the Earth should be flat - lol
Nice day TRTC! I was dead wrong about consolidating (more) in the 13-14 area. I did hit my target at 23 and thought about taking my profit, but... I think we got a lot higher to go. I think eventually, the new money into the sector will end up here and my other stock and that crazy vape one. Congrats long Longs - patience is paying off! I too follow Monkey's analysis, but man, if this consolidates below 20, I'm guessing it won't be for long. ON FIRE!
Thanks for the clarification. I was wrong to suggest they are not connected with mj growing, and should have kept it simple with just saying they are not dependent on mj. I think the green rush will help in bringing equipment costs down. That in turn, will help TRTC to reach a broader array of clients. They have the capacity to scale between both small and large clients. Again, Thanks for pointing out my mistakes. And thanks for the work you and DMCC and others do on this board, I appreciate it!
Thanks Monkey, You have been our vane in this storm we call penny land. As an investor that has been here since June, I must say that today felt better than yesterday, and yesterday was amazing! Go PHOT, GLTA
What's with the comparisons of TRTC and other mj stocks. imo I do not even see TRTC as a mj stock. Surely the green rush will help TRTC along its way, but this company does not need to be directly involved in mj, I believe it will be successful in the "local produce" industry. One of the reasons I like TRTC is because they service clients ranging from the single windowsill grower all the way to multi-acre productions. I also believe in climate change, the badness of monocropping, and the eventual need to produce food locally and personally. Here is where TRTC shines. And of course, if they do get into mj growing, then more power to them, but TRTC is not dependent on mj. That being said, in my extreme novice opinion, I think we consolidate somewhere around 13-14, and with good news, gap up to 23, which is my target, but I'm considering hanging on for longer as an investment. I think this stock and the other one I'm in will both be in the dollar range one day, I just get tired of the comparisons. Ya, your apple is redder than my orange - lol - GLTA, go TRTC!
Nice ending of the year for PHOT and my only other mj play TRT$. Have a good New Years everyone, be safe this week and I will catch you all in '14. I am excited for next year. GLTA
I am way past the point of worrying if Growlife is a legitimate company. They have proven to me that they are. I am also past the point of worrying if they have a successful business model or not. For me the possible hurtles are going to center around competition. There will definitely be a lot of players in the financial realm of the marijuana industry, but I also think that the boom will be so big that there is enough of the pie to go around. I am watching the banks in relation to the Feds rescheduling mj mostly. The point being: all this talk of dilution as a possible failure of PHOT ties into the idea that they have a failed business plan, Just like when bashers were screaming PHOT scam promoting the possible failure due to illegitimate business practices. IMO, both arguments have been shown to be false, to date. The bashers should move on to the next step which is the argument that big money/banks are going to muscle Growlife out of the financial game. Much better argument to be made. Regardless, PHOTs been good to me. GLTA
Let's get to something I can use; a more relevant topic: High Times Growth Fund. Let us put forth our knowledge, wisdom and opinions. Is it going be something that is symbiotic with GIFT? Is it competition? and if so, does it matter given how huge the market is going to be? I took the article and interview this way: I think HTGF will be competition to GIFT, but I also think there is enough room for both or more players. HTGF is planning to get 200 million in 2 years, or some 100 contracts (2 mil a piece). Phot has 40 million plus, and in two years, probably comparable to what HTGF is planning to invest. Kinda begs the question if they are not linked somehow, but no proof what so ever from me at least. Let's get this one understood and put to rest. Go Phot. Healthy competition is... well... healthy GLTA
Merry Christmas PHOT Longs! We are having some nice consolidation in the low teens this week. I am looking forward to a very real possibility of having an awesome 2014 Phot year. I do not know much about trading/investing, but what I do know is upper division college Logic and reasoning, as my Philosophy degree indicates. So, as a general rule, I would recommend not taking advise from someone who chooses not to heed the advice of many Longs here, citing not enough proof, but is willing to push an argument who's number one premise is, "some guy on twitter said AB said to short this," and that's the vane he is following? Brains, intelligence people, we have a lot of knowledge on this board. Like I said, I do not know how to trade/invest, but I do know who to listen to, eventually, and who is just BS; obviously pushing some sort of personal agenda. GLTA
Food for PHOT thought: 1) someone should update the IHUB page to have information on GIFT and KIOSK 2)The constant jabbing of traders vs. investors is ad nauseam - traders trade and worry about certain things, investors worry about other things. 3) enough with the dilution, if it scares you then it scares you, however, I'm pretty sure the possible dilution is being factored into the pps as we speak, and as an investor, if it is done right as I'm betting on PHOT will do, then dilution means a massive expansion of the company and as Rob said, would dwarf the impact of the dilution. (1.3 billion shares of a multi-billion dollar company is better than 100 million shares of a ten million dollar company -hypothetical numbers) 4)Here's something to think about, we are all betting on the Federal Government to reschedule marijuana and give each state the green light to do with MJ as they please, but the longer they take, the better for us, and wouldn't you know it, Congress is too busy tea bagging each other to get anything other than immigration control and the budget done next year. Let PHOT establish a strong financial footprint in the sector before the big boy banks get involved. The stars are aligning, i feel good about Phot, if it gets anywhere near 10 cents, I'm buying a small block. GLTA
I do not think it will work that way. Each deal has to be over a length of time (years). But they do have access to more than the $40 million. I too think the potential is huge, a multi-billion dollar company but that dream involves time, luck, risk, etc. Remember Rob said the company is still small, some 50 employees, mostly in the shops, so they have to work on each deal one at a time. The stars are aligning however. Go Phot - I like what I'm seeing this week but it is easy when I'm averaged at 4cents
What a week, yay! This board is saturated with posts today so I don't know if anyone mentioned it, but there are two aspects of the GIFT program that I really like and should be mentioned when explaining the program: 1)Growlife has been and continue to build connections with various growers and dispensers, and has these connections actively SEEKING THEM to be involved in the GIFT program as well as promoting the program to other growers and dispensers, in short, the program is very popular (icannabis radio interview is where i get this sentiment) Imagine needing to expand your growing operation overnight because of crazy demand, the banks won't lend it to you, so there is Growlife. Now here's the most important aspect of GIFT 2)the people/companies that use the GIFT program have to sign an EXCLUSIVE deal with Growlife for so many years (I have 5 years in my head but could be wrong). So the potential is having a substantial percentage of marijuana growers and dispensaries locked into exclusive contracts with Growlife that could build upon itself (a five year contract may be extended for another five, and if the companies infrastructure is all Growlife equipment and the Kiosk, then why would a company seek another avenue if Growlife is treating them right) Anyways, Just my 4 cents - lol - GLTA
I recommend you reading Monkey13's post. He does Fibonacci analysis
Wow sitting in the office at 4:50am (the market opens at 4:30 here) ready to start work and I log into my account: Huge relief!
I haven't had time to go over the deal yet, but I will be looking to see how far this deal goes towards solving PHOTs revenue problem.
Thanks for the good information everyone, and the humor. Go PHOT!
I've been here since June and averaged at about .04. I know next to nothing about trading, in fact this is the first stock I've bought in over a decade. I'm in it as an investor and not a trader (although I need to learn to buy in blocks and take profits here and there to hedge my bets). I still think very highly of this company, its management, and its direction. And as of today, looking to buy a block if it hits .05 (even if it hurts to watch my profits dwindle). The radio interview gave me a lot of confidence to remain an investor, although I'll be paying attention to future revenues as I believe it to be the major hurtle.
Kiosk: This is important to me. Handling money, as far as keeping track of transactions for tax and security reasons is huge. If dispensaries use the Kiosk out of necessity at first because of the lack of banking, then when the banks finally get in then the dispensaries will continue to use a modified version of the Kiosk because of cost efficiency. This I see as a huge potential, and is also an opinion/assumption.
GIFT: This is huge. From what I understand from the interview, Growlife has already a number of existing customers, and also potential customers SEEKING THEM. So I see the program as popular and sell-able. The problem as pointed out in the interview is: How are they going to finance the GIFT program? especially with a 500k shortfall on earnings. And this is what I'm paying particular attention to.
Cannabis.org: It is what it is. Both Sterling and Rob are passionate about it. They want it to be the WebMD for medical marijuana. I think it has Ad revenue potential. Time will tell.
Thank You everyone on this board, clowns monkeys officers pigs etc. I've learned a lot about trading just by following this board.
Go Phot, GLTA, this is only me talking out of my ass, blah blah blah, don't bash me like officerk - bashing him is like sledgehammering your tv because Fox cancelled Firefly.
I can only tell you what I plan to do. I'm new to trading and listening to me may not be in your best interest (or fit your style). I got these numbers from another forum. Stop loss in the low $15s, target is $27 by early Spring. All my opinion of course!
learned something new today, thanks. It is nice to know however that PHOT has revenue coming in, and they can take their time and make sure all the government bs is taken care of first.
Howzit everyone. New to the post, but I've been invested in PHOT since mid June and been watching this message board like a hawk for the time. This was my first stock purchase in over a decade, and know very little about trading, but I am enjoying learning and some of you guys have helped me to understand this better. Mahalo. Considering that I've worked in retail for a while, currently with the fifth largest retailer in the world (I've grown sick of wearing orange every workday), I hope I can bring some insight/vision into why I like this company... to come! Everyone here knows there is going to be a Green Rush. Maybe this is gold, maybe not, but this has the potential of being more than just cannabis as urban farming will have to become a part of our lives, no thanks to Monsanto - lol - good luck to everyone! And remember, this company doesn't touch the substance, so there is no worries about being caught in red tape, regulations, and security concerns.
