The way I see it
MMJ legalization will happen nationally. Public clamor is now loud enough. Politicians see potential for getting votes on the platform. States see sizeable revenue upside potential and cost reduction opportunities with leagalization. They won't want CO or WA, or any other state monopolizing the opportunity. Federal government is simply looking at a way to bow out and currently evaluating legal implications of federal amnesty for low-level offenders in the prison system.
PHOT is real business with real revenue (most in the sector right now). They are on the "right" side of the green line, so they are legit in this grey in-between state we are in. They are a legitimate business in a sector full of impostors looking to cash in. They sell "pick and axes" that fuel production of the sector.
They are buying future revenue with GIFT, and cementing relationships with those they feel have the best opportunity to succeed in the arena. GIFT may also help with the important "collective" customers who grow AND sell..., more willing to take kiosks for front end of business? Me thinks.
Rob Hunt sounds like he is smart, considered, hungry, and trustworthy. He succeeds when PHOT succeeds.
To me, PHOT is the beast that will be talked about as the king of the "green rush." And it will all happen as slow and steadily as it needs to happen. I'm all in and excited to be a part of it. Go PHOT!
