How do you see Calypso Wireless as a key player? Those reports just remind me that Calypso Wireless has virtually no chance of success with so many big names in the business.
Even Calypso Wireless admitted they couldn't survive in the telephone manufacturing business because they finally saw that they were competing with companies that had much more in the way of resources than they...how will this endeavor be ANY different?
All anyone has to do is just look back at our posts and make up their own minds as to whether we are telling the truth or not. Actually, we have been warning people about this stock for a long time now...and, apparently, we had real reason to warn since the stock has dropped 99% from a high of 6.06 to current levels of about .07.
Don't think that just because the stock is priced so low that it can't continue to drop because it can and most likely will.
He's out selling oceanfront property in Montana.
Ian is counting on catching a ride with the announcement of the granting of a patent.
Quite true, the stock could rise (on a very short term basis) with such an announcement...but the trick is the price of the stock could also continue to drop while the patent office evaluates the patent application. It could take the patent office additional YEARS to finish their evaluation, and I don't think this stock will have barely any value left within a matter of months.
The company is going to have to continue to sell more shares of stock to fund it's "spending needs" which will continue to drive the share price downward.
I think this move on Ian's part is extremely risky with the chance for a payoff of about 5% at current share price levels (.075). I think the chances of the SEC shutting down trading is much more likely which could cause an even further reduction in the share price!
Good luck, Ian.
I personally would never make a bet with the probability of winning of only 5%. Of course, this probability is my opinion from the information that I have as of this date.
If the share price today were approximately .02, THEN the probability of making a gain would approach 40% in my opinion (again based on the information available TODAY). In my models, this price point (if we were there today) would be the best probability point for profit. If the share price drops from .02 the probability drops off again. So, no matter how you look at this thing, right now it just isn't looking too good!
I just still see much room for the price to drop...
"Well, here we are at .10 right where I predicted. From here I predict this thing will basically sit and ever so slowly drift downward until there is nothing left. The volume will dry up to near nothing..."

Maybe Ian has been the one writing Calypso's press releases??? He likes to drop big names and feel important.
Oh, I see that you found some info on the satellite patent that they filed for...do you think this is new???
I think it is obvious that Ian Lee is a young, inexperienced person just getting started in investing. I would guess he is in the age range of 18-23. He is what is called a bottom-feeder. He is looking for stocks that have tanked, buys them, and hopes they will go up. He thinks that since CLYW has gone down so much that it surely will not go down more! Since it was at $6 at one time, it likely will go back up!
However, many stocks crash for a reason, and these stocks that have real reasons for crashing never go back up, but folks like Ian Lee are too inexperienced to realize this and they drop a lot of money in the stock as a gamble. Then, they find anything they can to support the stock. Poor Ian Lee...about to learn a valuable lesson in investing.
I hope you haven't dropped too much money in to this Ian!
Calypso Wireless had $0 in revenues. This is fact.
Management very well might be getting ready to cash out...
Employment Agreements
"The company has entered into employment agreements with a number of Employees and consultants this provide for various severance benefits, bonus payments based on various performance and technical achievements and often include extra payments in the case of a change of control."
"Subsequent to the acquisition, the Company changed it focus from developer and supplier of real-time video cellular phones to a developer and supplier of real-time cellular phones software only. Therefore, the Company has decided to not continue with the transaction and does not plan to acquire any additional ownership in RV Tech. Because there are no assets that meet the definition of capitalizable assets under SFAS Number 142 and RV Tech has deficit equity, the investment has been impaired to a value of $1. This impairment cost has been recognized as an expense in 2005."
So, just like that, Calypso Wireless took $1,000,000 cash and 1,000,000 shares of stock and declared it a value of $1 and wrote it off as an expense...LOL. INTERESTING!!!
At the current market price of .08 and the number of shares Calypso Wireless is authorized to issue, Calypso can only raise an additional $4.5 million...
What happens once they issue all of those shares?
"As of March 31, 2006, the Issuer had 138,749,638 shares of common stock issued and outstanding." -- Calypso Wireless 10-K report
"At March 31, 2006, the Registrant had 144,002,971 shares of common stock issued and outstanding." -- Calypso Wireless 10-Q
So which is it?
"The Company believes that with its patented ASNAP™ technology, European mobile carriers should be able to expand their customer base, reduce costs of additional frequency spectrum and infrastructure, and increase revenues by offloading capacity to the Wireless Local Area Networks and IP Networks with new services featuring our WiFi-GSM-GPRS VoIP cellular phone." -- Calypso Wireless 10-Q
"Our company is distinctive in its focus on creating products..." -- Calypso Wirless 10-Q
"The Company has revised its business model such that it will sell licensing agreements with OEMs (original equipment manufacturers) and businesses that cater to enterprise companies to license the technology based on our patented ASNAP™ technology (U.S. Patent Number: 6,680,923) and or license the patent rather than become a supplier of cellular and other devices." -- Calypso Wireless 10-Q
So which is it?
...and new name.
The SEC is already on it, amigo.
Actually, if you review the history of the company, they have already tried the licensing route only to switch to attempting to manufacture and sell phones after apprently not being able to get any bites from companies for licensing their technology. There were numerous announcements where they were attempting to license, and so far no revenue from any of the numerous attempts.
So, this isn't new. They are just switching back to what did not work before. It's going to be an overbearing uphill battle (once again) for Calypso Wireless to license something that they could not sell in an actual product. The same fundamental problems (as they listed in their filing) are going to be facing them (even more so, in my opinion) in licensing their idea as in producing products utilizing their idea. I imagine they may have switched their so called business plan because the Feds are sniffing around and it's easier to fake "technology" than actual, physical "products". This is in my opinion of the situation.
I wonder if it will be contingent on an "irrevocable letter of credit acceptable to Calypso Wireless"? HAHA.
...and to tout from the $2-6 level all the way down to .09! I mean they do know how to sell their stock, right? Or, are they stuck with restricted shares?
If you didn't know, Calypso Wireless states they are no longer pursuing developing a phone. They are going to try to license the technology that they could not develop in a phone.
To provide people such as yourself with information.
You're welcome.
#1 Calypso Wireless has swindled many investors so why not swindle even these alleged "investors" that are offering additional working capital? They could be investing for shares of stock that are valued at a very small fraction of the current value which will continue the drain on the stock price as they sell later. Or, it could be yet another statement made by Calypso Wireless that does not come to fruition.
#2 In many people's opinions, the patent is worthless. Even Calypso Wireless has decided to give up on trying to engineer a phone utilizing their own technology! Calypso Wireless has been threatening to sue companies for a couple of years now, but the only company being sued is Calypso Wireless. Calypso Wireless does not have the resources to take on the big companies. They even have said that in their latest SEC filing regarding developing a phone. So, what makes anyone think they are going to be able to take the big companies on in a licensing battle? DUH! In the meantime, there have been many products coming out with seamless roaming capabilities that Calypso Wireless has ignored. Where are the lawsuits?
#3 Sharma could be there for the same reason other players are there...easy money. There have been a lot of people who have come and gone with this company. I suspect Sharma will leave at some point also once he figures out what is really going on. Other people that added credibility to the company have come and gone quite quickly.
BONUS: This is not the first time we have heard rumors of "deals" with companies. The UT Starcom name has been floating around for quite a long time now. So has China Telecom, Franc Telecom, CGE Distributors, America Movil, Ecuador Telecom, Inversiones, T-Mobile, and LOADS of others. Those are just a few at the top of my head. I don't feel like looking up the others...All of this and no revenue. So, please don't be fooled if you really are new. Do your homework.
For money??? Just a guess.
LOL...care to let us know at what price you would break even on CLYW?
;)
Oh, nlightn, I wonder how the SEC got in on the Calypso Wireless act...
It's not a development stage company. They developed a product and noone wanted it.
This guy is obviously with the new "group" coming in...he's a blind pumper. Just like asnap.
They make no logical sense.
This guy is obviously with the new "group" coming in...he's a blind pumper.
Ahhh, but see just like this Ian Lee character. If Calypso Wireless is silent long enough they MAY catch some new people unaware...it's about their only way to cash out more shares. I have a good feeling the SEC will stop trading on this when they complete their investigation.
Yeah, and Calypso Wireless currently is under investigation by the SEC.
450k...LMAO!!! Yeah, right.
LOL...I get that feeling also...I think he is related to asnap (George) somehow.
Is Ian Lee asnap's son?
Yeah, we've had this discussion before too. We've had other people threaten us on here as well. We are a highly educated group...you have to come up with more than that to stop us from speaking the truth.
We've had this discussion before on this board...probably well over a year ago...do some reading.
His "greenness" is all too apparent.
If it makes you feel better, charlesfinney,
2007 is shaping up to be a great year for Calypso Wireless!
**Disclaimer: Calypso Wireless makes this statement every year. Please don't buy or sell based on how the above statement makes you feel about Calypso Wireless. Calypso Wireless trades under the market symbol CLYW.
Cute...LOL
You are just now discovering all this, aren't you?
It's just AMAZING to me that there are still people here promoting this stock while it is now trading in the .07 - .10 range! And after all the evidence of corruption and wrongdoing here and now even an SEC investigation!!! WOW, you folks are clever!
Are you still buying? Why don't you average down? Heck, it's cheap now!
Don't be fooled though...there's still room for it to drop even MORE!!! 0.00 is the bottom floor and this one is headed in that direction. Bankruptcy is next because the funds are exhausted and the shares are basically worthless!!! Obviously any future stock sales are not going to be able to net any significant amounts of money...especially nowhere near the $7 million that the company states they need to take care of general expenses for this next year.
Also, for those of you who scoffed when I said about a year ago or so that this would be trading at .10 I raise my wine glass and make the next toast to you.
Good luck to you, zfritz.
You are obviously no Kenny Rogers fan or you would "know when to fold em, know when to hold em, know when to walk away, know when to run..."
Yeah...I even wonder if drugs are involved too. They did have a lot of dealings in Nicaragua and Ecuador, etc. where the drug trade is well known. The Mendoza character is involved with no telling what...
