STOCK PRICE!
Over at ragingbull you fellows are batting around some buyout numbers.
If Ptsc. prevails in feb. I don't think they would take a 50mill buyout. They turned down 7 mill already. Yeah its allot of money for a tiny company that is in bad shape .But their rolling the dice for the big prize. It would have to be voted on any way. And I for one would vote no.
Stock prices are based on allot of things The amount of shares outstanding, 400 mill. thats a fair amount. debt ratio. earnings and so on. But this could become a very high profile company if things go well for Ptsc. In the next few months. The story alone will drive the price allot higher than penny's on the dollar its trading for right now. This is another Rambus in the making. IMO.
I'm not going to try and perdict a dollar amount for which ptsc could trade for. Yes I did say dollar not penny amount. time will tell.
I like to think big!
Ease you posted somewhere the time line between moore and fish splitting up. after that period fish says he came up with the fish clock all by himself and then had Higgins enter it into the patent. Thats got me worried! was it days , weeks , months or years. The time line is the key. I have invented several items that we use in 1000yrd benchrest shooting and long range sniper type stuff and never bothered to patent them mainly do to there wasn't allot of dollars to be made yet allot of people copied my stuff.I would have been sole inventor on one or two items but I always had imput from other people I designed stuff for.I have a problem believing fish never discussed the fish clock and asked for any imput.
ELK.
Hey ease 2002!
I have followed all the posts on ragingbull and agora.
I hoping for a first round win with Higgins.I hope we get it. This ruling could go against us.I hope your ready to handle that if it happens. You have put your heart and sole into you d/d.And its been first rate! I'm betting on B/O to prevail.
B/O took this case on contingency. They have to believe even stronger than you do. That they and ptsc can prove total ownership of 336 if not B/O is out allot of money .B/O has all the documents we don't.
Feb. will be here before you know it. Sit back and take a rest!
Your doctor the elkman
Looked at ptsc lastest statement.
I think they ran out of red ink and switched over to black to make all those ( ) ( ) ( ) ( ) ( ) ( ) ( ) ( ) ( ) ( ) ( )
just kidding.
wouldn't it be nice not to see any of those nasty little things. couple hundred mill. would perk up the old balance sheet.
good luck to everyone.
I keep wondering why?
As smart as charle moore is intelectually. He has got to be dummer than a box of rocks when it comes to commom or business sense.
He had to know the value of the 336 patent. Why would he make a statement like he wished these patents would have been allowed to sit on the self.
patent 336 is the most important fundamental patent to micro processors. yet he wanted it to sit on the self.
The only reason for that can be. He didn't invent patent 336 and he knows it. And he doesn't want ptsc to profit from it.
He also stated the pressure the judges are putting on him to settle. I believe he and Intel thought they could make this go away by tying it up in court for may years. It could still take quite awhile to settle.
whats your thoughts anyone.
Hey you found it!
I wonder how Moore gets to tie his shoes!
Hey Ease!
look this up I can't post it. Or maybe you read it before I happen to come across it tonight.
chuck moore's fireside chat to SVFIG nov. 2004.
www.ultratechnology.com
he is asked about the patent and ptsc lawsuit .He states that this will never go to a jury trial. Its way to costly. The judges will push for a out of court setlement The legal cost would be sky high and the judges don't want the tax payers to pick up the tab on this one. See if you can find this.
Hey Ease!
I read your post on ragingbull about Beatie having 40yrs law experience. but maybe he never went to law school. I don't know about that. But I do know he stayed at the Holiday Express one night. And like the commerical implies that should make him a really smart man.
I have read up on Beatie he is a fighter. And loves to plan his strategy's extremely well. I don't think he would ever be tripped up by A/C .
If Intel wanted to buy ptsc.
They probably would do a stock deal no cash. Maybe 1 share of Intel for every 5 ptsc. That wouldn't cost them anything.
whats your thinking on that?
I live on the east coast!
Nice mountains and river valleys. Not near any flood plains.
But if a mile wide rock falls from the heavens ,well that could be pretty tough on everyone.
My tax man just loves my new house. He thinks it worth more than anybody else around. Now why would that be. He must know I own ptsc stock. That sly devil.
The only taxes I wouldn't mine paying. Would be on capital gains when I sell my ptsc for 100 bucks a share. The the dodge boys would say (sweet) so would I. Any takers I'll let mine go for a 100bucks a share right now.
I'm surprised that ptsc is holding around 8 cents I thought the MM's would have sold this back down to 4/5 cents by now.
good luck to everyone!
Sedley your right again!
It would make a great story. But after the dot com. crash and CNBC having every goof ball come out on TV and hype stocks to inflate their price. This probably won't get a honorable mention in the Wallstreet journal. Even when ptsc wins all.
When Intergraph won over Intel they did mention it on Tv one time and then it was a dead story.
On a different note the real money to made is in real estate. I just built a new home and before I got it finished I had to firm offers to buy it for 70,000 more then it cost me to build it. I think I'm gong to forget about stocks. And just build new houses.
Sedley here is a thought.
I know what I said about ptsc and no sales force or customer service. But they just got the highest score on the ignite processor. blowing the competition away yet no takers. Why?
I'm wondering if potential buyers are beeing kept from lic. this hot new processor . By the big boys. Mainly Intel and (Its) large customer base. Who knows they might be pressuring them not to buy it. Hoping ptsc will fold and go away. What i'm saying is they my be locked out of the market. Just a THOUGHT! You think if its as good as they claim, somebody would buy it.
Yeah I think the china deal is dead.
Hello Sedley.
Yes you read the 10Q . I would love to see ptsc. win and make a ton of money for themselves and us too.
Then they could market and sell the ignite products. You know and I know thats the only way it will happen. Without a sales force and customer support its been almost impossible. I'm not one to say never. But the odds of making money from ignite are slim to none right now.
I have a ton of ptsc stock and cannot see any real reason to add to it even at 8 cents.. If we don't get past this first court ruling it will be worhtless. Hate to be negative. Just facing the facts of investing in long shots.
The latest 10q says it all.
Ptsc is as dead as a door nail. The only real hope is money from the lawsuits if they win. And is a big if.
Ignite maybe a great little processor. but customer don't buy from bankrupt company's with no sales force and no customer service thats the facts of life. They don't like company's caught up in legal battles either. even though ptsc. has a right to defend its patents.
I have been long on ptsc. Since 1999 And i'am still holding out hope on a settlement. If that doesn't happen the ride is over.
the next few months will tell all.
hope we strick it rich.
ease2002 I think your right!
one of my biggest fears is that the judge will do something really stupid on the patent ruling and not award it to ptsc. or moore because this is truly fundamental tech. which the world has come to accept as standard. stranger things have happened. ptsc could get zip. or the case could drag out for ever. and again ptsc would probably go out of business.
I surely hope it doesn't. Its a waiting game again.
good luck us all.
what is the 336 patent worth to ptsc?
Since it is used by every manufacture in the world (billions) are involved for sure. What would ptsc be worth if it can prove sole owner of the 336 clocking patent? Probably billions.
There are so many different market forces that could drives ptsc stock to levels that most could only dream of.One major factor would be how wall street would view the stock and what p/e it would try to give ptsc. ptsc has about 198million shares out right now. that is really not alot. this is only my thinking and doing comparisons against other stocks like rambus with a little less float out then ptsc. ptsc should trade into the same range as rambus 10 to 30 dollar range. it could trade alot higher for a short time. if you look at siri radio which is deep in debt and has over a billion shares out it trades for over 7 dollars and there are alot of others. wall street loves a good story stock and ptsc has all of that in the making. lets hope ptsc wins the legal battle with moore then all else should fall into place. this is strictly my thinking on the price range ptsc should trade into. don't forget if ptsc wins the patent case with moore and this little company starts to get other settlements in the hundreds of millions thats real cash to the bottom line. that will lift ptsc stock from the otc boards to the nasd. and onto the big investors of the world. I stuck my shares away for safe keeping this is going to take awhile to play out. If intel or some other company wants to buy ptsc they wont get it for 5 bucks a share. we or taking about THE KEY PATENT of all micro processors. without the fish clock there would be no intels of the world.
good luck to all.
why hasn't ptsc. every been paid?
this question is for anyone. Since they atleast own half of patent 336. Why has MOORE hogged all the money? And how much is Intel PAYING MOORE.I hoping ptsc. gets sole ownership but if not they still should be getting a handsome amount of money for owning part of the 336 patent.
hey big investor 51.
intel just settled the INTERGRAPH SUIT FOR 225 MILLION
intel settles.
you have not seen anything yet.
good luckto all.
intel loves lawsuits.
with ptsc going after them for variable speed clocking infringement.
micro unity is also suing intel and dell for for infringemnt on the patented hyper threading tech which intel also choose to steal!!!!!!!!! micro unity holds 50 patents. it would be interesting to compare how describes their patented product compared to how ptsc spells theirs out.that would be a good job for incite101 hey incit get cracking.
this is going to get very sticky for intel and its customer who use intel products.
april is coming and so is the first round of court dates.
good luck to all longs..
elkman
tea leaves!
the big question is. how the rulings go. if they go in favor of ptsc on patent infringemet. which i'am betting they will. then the stock price will reflect that.with several large settlements 20 bucks is not out of reason. don't forget most of that money will go right to the profit column. and wall street loves profits.
right know the price reflects a tiny company. with no rev. and is on its last leg to be very honest. ptsc may have great products but if nobodys buying them they are worthless.i'am happy to see 10cents holding up. they could have run it back down to 5cents with no news. right now we don't have anything to drive the price higher.
by june we hould have a better idea whats going to happen with the courts.
good luck to all.
just ck'd my variable speed vibrating cyrstall ball.
2.00doolars is way to low. with what rewards amounts are at stake and the value of future lic. deals 20.00bucks is to low.
good luck to all.
elkman
trading on berlin.
that should prove positive for ptsc shareholders. especially in the area of the amount of shares outstanding.120 million float is not alot to be traded on two different markets.
if we get some postive rulings it will drive the share price much higher. don't forget ptsc holds key patents that will affect all gobal customers. their are alot people watching this thing very closely. we should know by june.
take care
hello incite101.
he can you verify the court dates of april 6th and june 4th that ignitecetek claims he saw as public record, and saying the judge has made a ruling in intels favor all ready. on the un just enrichment part.
what can you find out. you live out yonder. i'am on the east coast.
with all the black bears, darn things are all over our devlopment where i'am building my house. they had to trap 5 out of there last year, but they just keep coming back.
i got a 338win mag that will correct that problem real fast.
good luck to all
elkman. probably going to change it to bear man pretty soon
its a duck!
it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck so it must be a duck.
or could it be variable speed clocking.
every time i look up intel and look for things about pentium processors funny things keep coming up. how they use variable speed clocking. they used to out right call it that.
then they went to speed step which they didn't patent and check this out. intel goes to ( rapid execution engines. )
which makes the pentium 4 run at (twice the clock speed)instead of having a fixed clock. sounds variable again to me.
new name and key to the performance of the processor and no mention of a patent. strange. its hard to do any reading on pentium processors that don't mention changing the clock speeds to improve the performanace. this doesn't mean over clocking.
thats why intel had a very low key responce to the infringement case. intel says we don't think we are. infringing.
we only barrowed it sorry,
good luck to all
elkman
lower price on lower vol.
no good news ===========lower stock price thats about what it adds up to. lets hope the court date will come in 45 days.
we could re test 5cents.
good luck to all.
elkman
rocko1492.
boy i hope they our. but i have no way of knowing that. they have a letter of intent and all but who really knows.
from what i saw in a article on jan 29th, that march 04 should be the role out in china. but that could be delayed we won't know till it really happens.
keep your fingers and toes crossed for good luck.
elkman
incite101.did you get email?
hey got your email. tried to email you back. don't think it took whats your correct email address?
elkman
hello again incite101.
something that people should take into account about ptsc. patents. who the inventors our.
charles moore and fish111 i don't know to much about mr. fish but there is plenty of info on mr. moore and his many, many, many acomplishments he has made in the industry.
ptsc. patents where not scratched out on a piece of towlet paper by some knowbody.that one day sat on a bar stoole sucking on some suds, looking at the clock on the bar room wall. thinking to himself , boy if i could only vary the speed of that there clock over there i could tell the old lady i wasn't really in the bar as long as i really was. no way (these guys) were and still are brillaint to so the least. intel cannot afford to have mr. moore on the wittnes stand. he would blow them out of the water so fast it wouldn't be funny.
also read on the china smart card, that they will start rolling them out first of march. it was in a press release on jan.29,2004 united press international. if you search china smart card. a hole bunch of stuff comes up.
good luck to all
elkman
hello incite101.
yeah thats the article! i new i had read that somewhere.
yes this is a good board for acurate info. on ptsc. i hope it stays that way.
oh i just got to say, this stock will rocket to 100 by next week don't miss the move up jump in now. its straight to the moon for this one baby. it cannot miss. just a little humor incite101.
hey if you get the time email me. we can talk about other stocks. which i don't won't to do on the ptsc board. just wonder what else you like.
elkman
rcko1492.
rocko i was just reading a article the other day about smart cards in china. with everyones personal indentification on them. the chineese our keeping things very quite about this because alot of other countries don't like this idea at all.
china wants to do it for about 960million people. but now not till 2005. so we may not see any china deal this year.
best hope something positive happens with the patent infringement cases. and that could be months off before the court rules on the intel action.
their are better penny stocks out there then ptsc.
good luck to all.
elkman
good luck.
incite101
hello incite101 hey how about emailing me when you can. i want to asked you some things.
elkman1310aol.com
ROCKO1492.
the china deal will be tough to get. they don't like ip and patents.
i have a friend that goes to china several times a year. he buys optic's. the china crowd doesn't want to hear about paying for ip.
if bill comes up with a new design the company that he deals with will make it free of charge no design costs to him. as long as he doesn't request a patent on the design. then he can put his name one it and sell it anywhere. but so can they.
will ptsc get a deal from china who knows. but i'am betting on the patents ptsc holds here and in europe.
elkman
sedley.
i agree with you on price! i wrote several posts back that with a long period of no postive news it could re test the lows. alot of stocks do this.
i also have a ton. but my hopes are pinned more on the lawsuits then on any china deal. that would also be a big help.
but the patent infringement would drive this stock way up. compared to a china deal. unless its for 100 mill. and that would be a real stretch.
good luck, good to talk to you.
elkman1310
sedley.
whats your thoughts on how the stock price is holding around 10cent level. seems nobody really wants to sell. alot of people got in around 9/10 cent area..
this i a very nice board to post to.
good luck to all.
elkman1310
hello incite101.
say i have read so many articles lately. i believe you wrote that our ceo jeff. says that ptsc is intalks with all five to settle out of court. after ptsc sued them.
is that right?
elkman
incite101.
i'am glad i have inspired someone.
i like doing d/d on any stock that i own. i showed this stock to a friend of mine who is a very sharp guy. he was stunned by what patents ptsc. is holding.
needless to say he is buying in. he knows its a risk. but this guy has made a ton of money. on other stocks. he likes the odds on ptsc. winning.
enough pumping.
good luck to all.
elkman
hello handyhintz.
the law firm probably didn't buy any. they don't have to. they plan on making a ton of cash without buying ptsc. shares. and that could also be a conflict of interest.
sueing other companys so it drives the price up would not be viewed as a legal thing to do.
i think that were holding 10 to 11 cents with decent vol. is good .
elkman
holding!
looks like mm's are really trying to shake shares loose.
lets hope 10cents holds up.
elkman
probably test the lows.
if we don't get any positive news for months we will probably see 5ents again. sorry to say.
time will tell.
incite101.
that would be greatttttttttttttttttttt! i'll me you in the muliti millionaire longue.
hey i was doing some digging on rambus lawsuits. and intel lawsuits.
one interesting thing i came across on intel . back in 1999 intel sued cyrix 5 times, and never won once. "wen chi chen" via's ceo and former intel exct. and also another company which sued intel was quoted as saying. intel (they just love lawsuits!
but as far as rambus suits they have made some big mistakes. which i think beatie and osborn probably picked up on. rambus filled individual lawsuits. in many different states. and by doing this it made the whole process that much longer.
if the first case that goes to court gets over turned it holds the rest of them up it caused rambus major headaches.
beatie beening a smart guy new that. thats why they combined the cases and keep them in one area. also its less travel expense for them.
also suing intel was the master move. it put the pressure back on intel, espescially with a jury trial hanging over them.
intel will want to fight it out, but the jap company's won't. they didn't give rambus that much trouble they did the honerable thing and paid up.
so i think the way beatie and osborn or handling the cases maybe it won't take as long as people might think.
when we win this ruling. alot of smaller company's will sign lic's agreements
then the next deep pocket to go after will be IBM. they use variable speed clocking. they all use it.
take care.
elkman
