It kinda looks like cpanel strikes again, I avoid administrative software like cpanel or webmin like the plague, but I understand why people use them, skill level is an issue but time is the biggest factor, I have lots of time and they don't.

gmail started sporadically rejecting most of the mail from a mail server I manage a couple days ago. It sends mail IPv6 to gmail and I can see that I had a slight config error, but they hate that V6 IP now. I started bouncing that mail off of the secondary server and it has been ok since.

This is just a guess, but I think gmail is putting tighter checks in place on inbound mail. My problems started suddenly a couple days ago.
