The IDEAL LIFE Gluco-Manager™ is a convenient, affordable and easy-to-use glucose meter. Used in conjunction with the IDEAL LIFE Pod™ - a wireless gateway - the Gluco-Manager can automatically and reliably communicate blood glucose readings without the need for a personal computer, cumbersome wires, or manual data entry.
Some service providers offer Internet-based hosting of patient blood glucose data on a fee-for-service basis. But many diabetics told us they had problems with cable connections, software downloads, and compatibility, and found having to input data on a daily basis too time-consuming and inconvenient.
We came up with a better solution. With the IDEAL LIFE Gluco-Manager*, users can quickly and easily capture, store, and send daily blood glucose readings to their healthcare team via a fully automated process. Once the Pod is plugged into a phone line, the IDEAL LIFE Gluco-Manager is ready for wireless transmission. Simply take the reading and the data is immediately stored and sent.
The IDEAL LIFE system works through any mode of communication - phone lines, cell phones, and the Internet. It's also compact, easy-to-use, and can be used at home or on the road.
The IDEAL LIFE Gluco-Manager is designed for use with approved test strips that require only a very small sample of blood, and comes as part of a complete package that also includes a starter kit, Pod, and IDEAL LIFE's communication and information management service. Best of all, this complete IDEAL LIFE Gluco-Manager package is free through select health plans! The only cost to users is for our modestly-priced daily test strips.

And, I wouldn't have bought into PSID, at 6 cents and 4 cents a share, after PSID had announced they had signed strategic teaming agreements with both IDEAL LIFE, and SIMPLEX HEALTH CARE for marketing and selling IGLUCOSE to their many millions of diabetes customers that was suppose to increase PSID share holder value..
When I called and emailed both IDEAL LIFE, and SIMPLEX HEALTH CARE inquiring to confirm if they had signed strategic teaming agreements with PSID for marketing and selling IGLUCOSE, as PSID had announced and told their share holders..
Both IDEAL LIFE, and SIMPLEX HEALTH CARE said they weren't selling IGLUCOSE and had not signed any such strategic teaming agreement to market, or sell IGLUCOSE for PSID..
Which seems fraudulent and in violation of the S.E.C. and Better Business Bureau Standars for PSID making such false statements to PSID investor share holders..
Anyway, for everyones sake, at this time..
Hopefully, what we're all speculating to happen, now, with PSID BioWatch Generation 3 gets fully implemented and deployed by DHS..

Im buying everything below .019 and selling above .0215 using profits to build bigger position. I see no reason not to trade this, for now it's not going anywhere but sideways so might as well take advantage of it. Plus it's going to be months before we know anything about the contract. My goal is a 800k share position and I will sell 300k share keep 500k of them and play with the houses money. I have been watch PSID for about a year and been trading it for 4 months or so. I do believ that big things will eventually happen for this company but I'm not risking my money if I don't have to just yet..LMAO

I'm swing trading this to build my position, I'm not DTing this right now the move from the .018-.022+ is taking a few days. Days like yesterday are buy days for me and the days like when it hit .026 were sell days, there was nothing really driving that price up it's was just hype and by following the buy/sell imbalance you could clearly see the end of the run coming even if just using lvl 2. Some people don't like my strategy but my strat is not for everyone and I can accept that. I've been in this game for a long time and just puting an ass ton of my account is too big of a risk so I find it better to trade it until I have a big enough of a position then sit back and watch.

I wouldn't sell in what would be an uptrend, if we get the contract it will break out and move in an upward channel. Once it then breaks out to tge upside or downside is when I anticipate selling but if it keeps moving in a nice upwards channel I will hold forever and let my now 1.1 million shares keep going. I wont dump my shares in one day either, it could do major pps damage..LMAO

That would greatly help speed up the testing phase processes.
Do you have any links to the information you posted.
Unless PSID is stating wrong information, which I doubt.
PositiveID has clearly stated the specific timeline information for the BioWatch Generation 3, stage 1 performance testing phase, in their February 6, 2013 PositiveID Reports Issuance of Draft RFP From Dept of Homeland Security for BioWatch Generation 3, if you read it very closely.
It Specifically Says,
"The final RFP for Stage 1 is expected to be released in the government's third quarter of fiscal 2013, which ends June 30th."
"The Stage 1 contract is expected to have a performance period of 18 months. The full roll-out of BioWatch Generation 3 is estimated at $3.1 billion over the next five years."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
So, that information which was published by PositveID for investors and to whom it may concern.
Clearly indicates and specifys that the BioWatch Generation 3 final Request For Proposal for stage 1 performance testing phase is going to be released, sometime, in the government's third quarter of fiscal 2013, which ends June 30th.
Once that event takes place, as they clearly specify.
Then, The Stage 1 contract is expected to have a performance period of 18 months.
It appears you have good intentions ~ but most seem to be questioning your opinion ~ even your own website links seem to be in contradiction..
The information you're website linke is referring to, is from (June 2007) The program was kicked off in 2007 and said to be scheduled for testing in 2008 with completion of the whole program between 2009 and 2012.
It Says, "BioWatch 3 is expected to be pilot tested in fiscal year 2008 and fully deployed between fiscal years 2009 and 2012."
http://www.dhs.gov/lab-box
However, this official time frame testing never happened, during the lime line, as was first projected by the government's DHS.
The government's Department of Homeland Security kept postponing it, from occurring, each and every year, until allowing their Final Draft Request For Proposal Competition Testing, for Stage 1 Performance Testing, and Stage 2 Operational Testing, to start proceeding forward, as the first stage is doing, now.
Rob you are right BUT also wrong! This is a WHOLE NEW PROCUREMENT! Yes you are correct we are in Phase II, however we are at stage I. My wife suggest we ALL need to talk less and read MORE! Lol
The GREAT News is that we are VERY close to the DHS releasing of the FINAL RFP!! I beleieve that by the 2nd week of March at the latest! Could happen MUCH sooner guys! JMO
After RFP is released than we can expect a contract award being issued for multiple contracts for a firm fixed amount, as well as cost re-imbursement! This should imo happen within 2-4wks after RFP!
Also there just might not be an industry day, if so it will be just a formality, just as with the DRFP! Will NOT have any significance at all per my wife! She was confident in saying that RFP could be released at anytime! Gotta run guys hope this helps! Don't STRESS remain PATIENT we are VERY close my friends!
My wife from her experience working for DoD for MANY years says with the UPMOST CONFIDENCE that PSID hands down will be chosen for 1 of the multiple contract awards being awarded in STAGE I!
Her final conclusion is that PSID like Coca Cola is a stock you don't eat on or have to pay your rent with! What she means is IT is going to happen, but be able to pay your bills in the meantime! Remember it is a LONG GREVIOUS process anytime you are dealing with our GOV!!
I once again think it is sooner than later! Gotta run take care everyone! MBD
Performance-testing for the current-BioWatch-Gen-3 solicitation is 18 months, during the first stage of the competition.
The procurement for BioWatch Gen-3 Phase II will occur in two stages, DHS said.
The first stage involves performance testing of proposed biodetector systems competing against each other.
The period of performance testing for the current BioWatch Gen-3 solicitation is only 18 months, during the first stage of the competition.
The second phase, of the competition, involves operational testing and evaluation as well as production, deployment, sustainment and disposal.
DHS will only be making final one award for the second-stage of the BioWatch Gen-3 Competitive Down Selection.
Hopefully, PSID will be chosen as the one, and only winner during this Final Request For Proposal Phase of The Competition..
DHS asked interested companies to submit questions on the draft RFP by Feb. 11
Consulting firm Deltek, Herndon, Va., listed BioWatch Gen-3 as the only DHS program in its top 20 federal opportunities for contractors in fiscal year 2013. BioWatch Gen-3 represents a potential $3.1 billion value over five years, according to Deltek's estimates.
Being we're all speculating for PSID to do-well..
Why would Smart Scan Chart Analysis indicate a counter trend rally is underway for PSID.
Why would Smart Scan Chart Analysis also indicate that the current PSID down trend could be changing and moving into a trading range Sidelines Mode.
Based on a pre-defined weighted trend formula for Smart Scan Chart Analysis, PSID scored -55 on a scale from -100 (strong downtrend) to +100 (strong uptrend)..
Does anyone know if Smart Scan Chart Analysis is known to be vert accurate, or not, for indicating what's currently going on with a stock..
PositiveID Corporation's $2.5-Million Alliance with Boeing, YouTube Video, Published on Dec 20, 2012
Is-MARKETCLUB Smart Scan Chart-Analysis known to be a-very-accurate indicator, by using a pre-defined weighted trend formula for charting PSID stock analysis, on a scale from -100 (strong downtrend) to +100 (strong uptrend):
Do you think Obamacare - RFID-Chip - HR 3962 be-implemented..
This Video on youtube discusses it..
Your Speculation is Very inspirational..
Have there been any new developments..
Hope PSID increases to $3.00 or more, instead of .03 cents, as you speculate..
Informative email you received from PSID, Investor-Relations, Allison-Tomek..
When will a strong revenue-stream eliminate PSID dilution..
Is PSID achieving your hoped for expectations..
What you say may-happen, if-Boeing gets the Final-RFP-Contract, IMO..
Your PSID estimation figures are calculated and based on, if Boeing gets the Final RFP Contract for providing 2500 BioWatch Gen3, M-Band, units to DHS, isn't it..
Of the competitors competing during the DHS Presolicitation Request For Proposal..
Is there only one Company going to be chosen, by DHS, to be the winner for receiving the entire Final Request For Proposal Contract..
Being it sounds like PSID, from what I've been reading, has the superior Bio-Watch Gen3 Unit, compared to their Competitor's..
I hope Boeing gets the Entire Contract for providing DHS with 2500 BioWatch Gen3, M-Band, units, if that's the number going to be deployed..
So, if that happens, PSID will be able to supply and profit from selling Boeing, all the Reagents and Assays these 2500 BioWatch Gen3, M-Band, units will require..
Then, maybe, PSID will, hopefully, get their nose to the grind stone and get their other products developed for bringing to market, soon, for being able to earn some profits on them, too..
Keeping uninformed people aware of the true, hard-facts..
Which is just one piece of the PSID puzzle..
As much as I hope BioWatch Gen-3 is implemented, and becomes successful..
After reading the Pre Solicitation, You can certainly see there is no gaurantee that BioWatch Gen-3 is going to be implemented, as it Says..
DHS makes no representation that a final RFP will be issued or that a contract award will result from the solicitation (when issued).
One or more of the items under this acquisition is subject to the World Trade Organization Government Procurement Agreement and Free Trade Agreements.
Very interesting, ideed..
Very informative..
Well said..
Maybe, PSID will-persevere, if the pros out-weigh the-cons, amonst the people debating and deciding if the BioWatch Gen-3 program is going to be fully implemented by DHS, or not, depending upon their perceived priorities, that have to compete for funding in their budget..
DHS Official Opposes Next-Gen Biowatch Sensors
A senior official does not believe the Homeland Security Department should proceed with plans to develop a third generation of sensors for identifying acts of biological terrorism, the Los Angeles Times reported on Tuesday.
Undersecretary for Science and Technology Tara O'Toole has advised her boss, Homeland Secretary Janet Napolitano, that the planned next-generation Biowatch sensor could not be trusted to uncover the aerial presence of such threats as plague, smallpox, and anthrax, informed researchers told the newspaper
O'Toole is worried the $3.1 billion estimated expense of the update in the first half-decade would waste department funding that could be better used on initiatives such as creating digital connections between public health offices, medical centers, and big HMOs, which would be useful in hastening the dissemination of medical countermeasures following a biological strike. She has shared her views on the matter with other DHS scientific personnel in addition to Napolitano, anonymous sources said.
"Her position is 'Kill it,'" one U.S. government researcher said.
Homeland Security spokesman Matthew Chandler said O'Toole was not allowed to discuss the matter. He did not offer a reason.
Napolitano is considering whether to authorize the five-year spending plan for the third generation of Biowatch sensors.
Senior members of the House Energy and Commerce Committee have called on the Homeland Security Department to make available documents that contain O'Toole's opinions on the Biowatch program. The department has declined in hopes of preserving the confidential nature of the intradepartmental decision-making processes, officials said.
When someone reads an old financing agreement between Ironridge and PSID (one that is 2 years old and has expired) and says "if PSID owes Ironridge 14 million dollars" where is he coming from?
It's obvious PSID does not owe Ironridge 14 million dollars!
They made a new financing agreement between the two in Sept. 2012.
According to post#3628 it' 14 Million Dollars Worth
looking it ironridge's website they still have psid in their portfolio.
so they still hold shares. who knows how many.
they got about $14 Million Worth so that is a lot to sell off.
sounds like every time pps goes up it might be them bringing it back down. what i don't understand is (Future tranches of the transactions will include conversion pricing based on the market price of the common stock at the time of the tranche, subject to a minimum conversion price of $0.50)
i copied it and pasted it from old news. can someone explain this???
Patience is a Virtue, all good things come to those who wait, hopefully..
If you jumped into PSID investing, feet first, don't get despondent and jump off the roof, head first..
Last Call Rob....you are ABSOLUTELY CORRECT! I will no longer be talking investors off the roof! If you cannot see the glass as being half-full instead of half-empty..then go ahead and JUMP!
All of this is just a FORMALITY i have been told! This process is going to move forward VERY swiftly! Just like the delays have taking place, we will see process move up and award contracts awarded sooner than later. Remember the GOVT already knows who's technology works. PSID and maybe Northrup which i tend to believe doesn't stand-up to ours. Once the questions and industry day are completed, i believe within 24-48hrs FINAL RFP will be released!
If PSID has the ONLY Tech that works, why wait on granting award. It appears to me that every stage will be NO longer than a two week period. I expect award to be in PSID hands by mid-late March. JMO
I will start liquidating ALL other holdings beginning on Monday. I AM GOING ALL IN!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yesterday was a GREAT day and a new beginning to those invested in PSID! Game is NOW ON! MBD
Does PSID actually owe Ironridge 14 million dollars, as to why they keep selling their PSID shares, and holding the price down to 2 cents, like it was posted, before..
Do you think to whom it concerns, as you mentioned in your post, will do as you suggested..
PSID needs to keep us updated on their progress. Every time they turn a corner they should keep us informed. Maybe Secure Strategy Group will help them with that. And they need to sever their ties with Ironridge and stop selling shares for 2 cents.
