Duh? Do you actually think Tiger is going to post on his website exactly what he's digesting on a daily or routine basis? Would give the "competition" a leg up wouldn't it? You may want to edit your post and resend it because it definitely has no logical thought behind it......
What Tiger may be saying, reading between the lines, is that he takes Electrofuse and or Powerfuse and then chases it with a sports drink to get the "cooling" affect/thirst quench. Seems pretty straight forward to me; as a former distance runner, that's what I'd do anyway. Just my $0.02
Thanks rick85, shore, infoseeker and several others for your positive outlook on this venture. IMO, I believe a lot of people are like me, heavily invested and not seeing many encouraging activities to crow about. Negativism is contagious, kinda like hitting is in baseball. Fuse is like a huge ball rolling downhill; the further it goes, the harder it is to stop. It's going to take something substantial to get this ball headed uphill again. In my meager business mentality, it seems that "operating capital" has been and still is the nemesis for Fuse in their present modes operandi. If Tuffin is basically calling the shots then the buck stops with him. Perhaps replacing him may be just the catalyst to spark a reversal in Fuse's slow path to self implosion. This whole experience with Fuse has soured me on pinks all together. Perhaps I can take something away from all this and be a better investor in the future. Time will tell, won't it? Can't leave without saying it one more time; "NEVER invest more than you can stand to lose". Amen, and amen....Good luck to everyone, good night, and God bless...
Rick85 and Scooter, you guys are dead on!! The silence from Fuse is deafening. Where is the cotton picking advertising. You can't sell what you don't promote and advertise! TW's or some other jock's picture on a package, bag, whatever is not going to get the job done. Something's going on here. Is it the lack of funds or is Fuse setting up for a major ad campaign?? I would hope the latter, but I'm not holding my breath. As time goes by, more a more competitor products are hitting the shelves. IMHO, if Fuse doesn't come out strong real soon, they'll be literally swallowed up by all the other "energy/electrolyte stuff". Tell me what will set them apart from all the other "guys"? Truthfully, I'm hoping for a buy-out or major licensing deal. Don't believe the drop products or Enerjel will carry this company. Right now, all I can do is watch as my investment slowly goes down the drain. Ok, yes dear, kick me in the butt again but, this time, much much harder.....
Seems like every time I go to my local Walgreens, some new "energy" or "electrolyte" product hits the shelves right where Powerfuse/Electrofuse should be sitting. Fuse has a ton of competition to overcome; they have to start promoting/advertising their products like "now" or the goo stuff is going down the tube. When Tiger bails, turn out the lights because...the...party....
Sorry to change topic midstream here but, has anyone seen the product PTG (power to go) "drops" in their Walgreens? My local WG has it for 2.99 per tube. Looks like just more competition for Powerfuse as well as the "Sheets" product. No DROP stuff on the shelf here yet (Columbus, MS).
Boy, are you uninformed and misguided! Better check your facts before posting next time around. Also, you might want to talk to someone with a strong chemical/medical background.
You're right wex, Electrofuse might be somewhat "over kill" for golfers but it's a fantastic product for joggers and runners. It's easy to carry, consume, and works fast. Liquid drinks don't have these positive attributes. I'm not inferring that joggers/runners don't need water.
Just thinking out loud here. Two things I wonder about: (1) Why hasn't the running/jogging crowd jumped on ElectroFuse? Easy to consume and carry..works quick...doesn't bloat like sport drinks... (2) What happened to the General with the military contacts/connections? ElectroFuse seems like a perfect fit for soldiers in the field...pilots on long flights....hmmm. Opportunities like the above have basically fallen by the wayside for some reason. And this company had such great potential 2 yrs. ago....too much potential for the pps to be in the single digits now. Are we witnessing a slow death??
Sadly to say that you have a slow sinking ship. I'm poised to lose a bundle on this stock because there is NO ADVERTISING OR PROMOTION OF THEIR PRODUCTS via any affective means. Excellent products hitting the shelves and NO ONE KNOWS ABOUT THEM! Comes down to poor management of operating capital and unnecessary overpayment to too many jocks and celebs, IMHO.
Gosh bgrass, please give it a rest! Many of us are losing a ton of money by owning DROP. Your daily ranting and raving about the pps, shady characters, and abysmal sales has become like the constant dripping of a leaking faucet. Enough already!!
Sure wexahu, you can puke and cramp your way through a marathon or you can properly hydrate (using products that meet one's specific needs) and finish strong without these aforementioned problems. ElectroFuse is small, or easily carried, and easy to consume while running or just jogging. You tried to tie my comments to just marathoners but you forgot all the "weekend warriors", housewives, and "weight loss" joggers that pound the pavement religiously; that's a huge stable of potential end users of ElectroFuse. If ElectroFuse works as good as touted, it will sell itself irregardless of what you and I think....
Wex, you said: "Some of you think of hydration and energy as some sophisticated science. It's really not." Really?? I can tell you from running 1/2 marathons that it's all about HYDRATION so you better be well versed in the subject (science) before attempting one. And when it comes to gatorade, along with several other sports drinks, they're the perfect products to produce projectile vomiting at about mile 10!! If I were still running, ElectroFuse would be a God send. IMO, ElectroFuse may be Fuse Science's best product.
HSmith, really?? Fuse products were just named best new sports supplements on the globe. Have you been asleep maybe??
The only thing Fuse's poster boy's battling is fitting his schedule around female groupies, girl friends and, oh yeah, golf..
Hope you're right Bay.
Amen takeachance!! IMHO, we paid out too much at the onset to too many jocks who are basically doing "nothing" to publicly promote the Fuse products. Hope they prove me wrong in the near term!
Zoe seems to have done more consistent advertising about Fuse than all the other jocks collectively! And as posted here a gazillion times, where is Woods our cover boy?
Wood's new bag isn't ready because Fuse tried to purchase the required cowhide with DROP shares..:)
How is NSF certification going to be a "huge" thing??
Scooter28, I stay because I hope, by some miracle (?), that Fuse succeeds and I don't lose a boat load of money. Since averaging down went out the window a long time ago, this basically is my only recourse. Yes, I could cut my loses and run but I refuse to do that. Don't know why really but I just refuse to do that, period. So let me bash management occasionally because it makes me feel better. :) Man, you guys are tough tonight!!
Tea Man, no apology necessary; I have pretty thick skin. :) You know, a good friend told me several years ago that investing money in the stock market was nothing but sophisticated gambling. He chose to put his retirement money into multiple CD's with fixed, long term interest rates (4.5- 5.0%). In 2008, he just smiled when I cried on his shoulder about my stock thrashing! Today, he just smiles as I tell him about my diamond in the rough, DROP. I have headaches and heart burn over Fuse while all he worries about is getting to the bank before closing to cash a dividend check. :) hmmm
Tea Man, well written post. But, careful with the personal attacks. My only mistake with DROP (or Fuse) was that I chose to INVEST and not "day trade" or "short" as I did stocks on the NYSE. You did hit the nail on the head on one point; my INVESTMENT in DROP was way more than I could afford to lose. Big mistake. But, please, no more rock throwing, my pain continues and my wife reminds me of it every day.... :)
War eagle, yes, I agree that the pps could not be sustained above $1. But, with products hitting the shelf, the pps should at least hold say 0.20-0.40. You do realize that the current pps equals what Double Eagle was over 2 yrs. ago and with no products on the market? We better start moving in a different direction soon or this ship is gonna sink.
Well, Scooter28, a 1st grader may say it like this: "Less jocks = shares (money) saved". Pretty simple really. How many jocks and celebs does a "grass roots" start-up company need anyway? Say 20 or more the better? Get real. And yes, I read each and every post on this board daily, and I've heard all the CC's, interviews, and BS sessions to date. But, please let me know when the marketing push has started; wouldn't want to miss it.
Look, Scooter, in all honesty the above and some of my earlier posts were meant to be taken as cynical. Cynical because over the last 2-1/2 yrs. I've seen screw-up after screw-up by Fuse management. With as much skin in this game as I have, I (and you) deserve much better, a whole lot better!
Sorry, Swankp, your wrong. Just don't like the CEO because, in my opinion, he's doing a poor job. His performance has taken DROP from a $1+ stock to less than $0.10 in 2 years. Facts don't lie. And just so you know, I have a ton of "skin" in this venture.....
MIKCSS, just google "red bull lawsuit".
Scooter, not to be argumentative but shares are compensation or money (just as cash is) no matter how you slice it, period. There's product on the shelf and virtually no advertising of value, period. John Q. Public doesn't know about Fuse, Powerfuse, Electrofuse or Enerjel, period. Boy, DJ, Cheban, Woods, and all the other jocks & celebrities are really vocal and touting all the Fuse products. Not!
And Redbull just got hit with a major law suit. Seems people die from drinking the junk!
Scooter29, Fuse would have a lot more money if they hadn't paid out so much to jocks and celebs who haven't done "squat"! And Tiger Woods as the "poster boy" for Fuse has so far been a farce. Tuffin just needed a golfing buddy with credentials and ties to Obama. lol
Well, bgrass1, they're laying low somewhere counting the "chump change" provide by us investors! Surely you knew that my friend! I mean, come on, Tuffin needs some "feel good" celebs to rub shoulders with occasionally, right? Isn't that what most CEO's do?
StockdungU, isn't it clear to you yet that this board is about Fuse products; we could care less about Zicam and its relatives.
No, they're not the same in their initial form (as in the bottle) but when absorbed by the body, the hydrochloride (HCL) bond to the hexane chain is most likely broken so you end up with 2-amino-4-methyhexane. Knew my chemical engineering degree would come in handy some day :)
Thanx Info. Texas A&M is going to need Fuse products now that they're in the SEC. Well, maybe not :)
My alma mater (Mississippi State Univ.) fell short in the championship game of the College World Series because I couldn't get Powerfuse, Elecrofuse, and Enerjel to them in time. Cost of plane ticket to Omaha was too high and couldn't get on plane anyway without shoes... Go Bulldogs! Go Fuse!
Columbus, Mississippi no Fuse in local Wal-Greens. Management staff hadn't heard of it but did confirm that the products showed-up on their website. Not good.
scooter28, I've read and heard all the pr's and CC's. I'm not saying it's happening here but, "talk is cheap". Facts and results are what I'm looking for, not conjecture and promises. Fuse is so far in debt due to poor management of capital that it's going to take a miracle for them to survive. That's my $0.02
Where are all the jocks, DJ, and the other celebrities when it comes to promoting Fuse? They can't be found!! Tuffin loves to dole out money so he can rub shoulders with the big dogs and play the executive game on the backs of us investors. We have product on the market and NO ADVERTISING PLAN IN PLACE! AN OCCASIONAL TWEET OR CHIRP FROM THE ABOVE SAID GROUP ISN'T GOING TO CUT IT! There's not going to be sell-through on our 3 products BECAUSE NO ONE KNOWS ABOUT THEM! Wake up folks, Fuse management is throwing us investors under the bus either deliberately or out of shear ignorance on how to run a company. To be judgement day honest, I'm fuming mad and so should you. I've watched my shares go to $0.75 twice and then slowly trickle down, unabated, to basically nothing because of absolutely poor management; the Street knows this and so do we. Tuffin should have been gone a LONG time ago!! Hello!! Don't know about you guys, but it wasn't "play" money that I poured into this sinking ship. Where's the bang for the buck? Right, nothing but total silence. Fuse had such potential. What a travesty this is turning out to be.....
Well malekabal42 what does one do if you're holding 0.30 & 0.40 shares, can't average down, and the pps keeps dribbling down toward 0.05 or lower? The only path "out" is to sell and cut the losses. Fuse has underperformed for the last 12 months and killed us "longs" with dilution, inflated pr's, and just plain bogus(?)hype. I see nothing in Fuse's financial statements to convince me that it's going to survive long term. It is what it is; Fuse is turning into just another "also ran" pinkie. Only a miracle is going to keep this ship from going under, and neither Tiger nor DJ hold the miracle wand....
Griff100, I think that was a very truthful answer. Thanx! I'm learning the hard way and it's painful; painful as in having to sell my hot-rods, boat, etc. (kitchen sink) to cover the losses. Yes, I'm also in mourning.. :(
