Cheater/Deceiver is not mutually exclusive with Smart Business Man.
A really smart business man can cheat and deceive and get away with it or without anyone noticing.
I have 26 more GoCom shares than you. So that means I currently have 26 x $0 = $0 more bucks than you. LOL.
Anyway, I have Scottrade (to become TD Ameritrade soon) and it shows the symbol as "(GOCM)" and when I click on it I get an error page.
I hope they have better programmers there at TD Ameritrade than at Scottrade, and know how to catch program errors more gracefully.
Yes, I think Ike is trying to consolidate his different assets. Like you said, it makes sense that SAVW and GOIG can work nicely together on the energy token trading platform. But you know what? I think there's 3rd player we can include: GOCOM. Believe it or not, GOCOM is still around and active. I reference the article below in a post here several weeks ago; not sure if anyone read into it. In 2016, GOCOM had fought for and won ownership of ESCO BluCo Energy, LLC.
http://www.energychoicematters.com/stories/20160603c.html
So Ike has been planning/building an energy-focused empire here.
LONG LIVE MY (OUR) RESTRICTED GOCOM SHARES!
(When first distributed, they were supposed to be worth what...$4.00 a share? Anyone remember?)
i'll take a stab at this:
1. Blockchain is the combination of software/system/database achitecture (aka the platform) on which transaction software like your digital cryptocurrency wallet or Ike's smart contract-based energy token trading software that he has yet to develop. Blockchain relies on the concept of redundancy where many copies of the same data and software are stored on different blocks on the chain so that they are instantly available for transactions. This makes transactions quick, reliable and accurate. If one point of data suddenly becomes out of sync due to some error or to hacking, it will be instantly autocorrected by the other good copies of the data.
2. Yes it seems like it.
The value of energy saved by SAVW will become the energy trading tokens that GOIG will sell over the IoV.
Makes sense. Savw has always been about energy. And with goig's new energy trading platform in development, symbiosis of the two corporations seems inevitable. Who knows, they might merge.
And also, you can read about Smart Contracts in Ethereum and how they are the mechanism for trading on the IoV.
https://www.ethereum.org/
I cannot write a concise summary right now, but can point you to these links of examples that should provide a pretty good understanding/concept of IoV.
https://wepower.network/
This line says it all. "It enables green energy producers to raise capital by issuing tradable energy tokens". Basically the value ("V") we're talking about here is in the energy tokens (similar to the value we place in Bitcoins and all other cryptocurrencies")
Basically Ike is copying exactly what some big companies have already begun to do, like these:
http://www.ibtimes.com/bp-shell-plan-blockchain-platform-energy-trading-2611126
That's old new. It's already known that ike had registered at least one smart city url
Count me in too! If GOIG goes to the moon, at least one of you will be buying your dream mansion so we can party there! Haha
The notion I have is that $GOIG is putting together a business model for offering blockchain-based services and applications that are geared for smart city integration & development. Now how much of that is going to become a scam, Ike won't tell us. But a lot of cities are already moving to become "smart" just like Taipei.
https://www.ccn.com/taiwan-smart-city-turns-to-iotas-dlt/
So if Ike is really going to go thru with a true strategy, he will get good business. And I wouldnt be surprised if some GOIG apps/services are related to music/entertainment as mdimport is wondering about, because the integration of fun personal/wearable items that can facilitate the delivery of music/entertainment is expected to become a big part in smart cities. Or even a subtle application on the blockchain that can coordinate a tiny royalty payment via crytocurrency to a professional or amateur artist everytime someone listens to his/her song online, will be a huge deal.
On a side note, it appears that his Gocom corp is alive and well, as it had fought and won ownership of ESCO Bluco Energy, LLC in 2016. I just hope my few reserve GOCM shares can be sold for something someday.
Nope, they are disguised powerball numbers reminding us all that anyone of us can win if enormous odds are beaten. Much like the chance of this stock breaking out. Lol
True, provided u indeed dont find the lost city nor find some plesiosaurs swimming around while trying to look for the city
Ok, thanks. I probably missed it when it was posted. I just remember seeing a post with a comparison screenshot of some site that made me skeptical and so didn't read much more into it.
link please?
And not a link to a screenshot of a site (that could have been photoshopped)
A real hyperlink so we can see it in real time.
How can we be SURE that that is GOIG's new official website?
I mean, ANYONE can buy a domain whose host name appear to have something to do with GOIG when in fact it might just be a bogus site. I can buy one right now, and fill in all of Ike and Co's contact info in the administrative section and make it seem as if Ike owns it.
Why would anyone do this? So that they can "leak" it into a stock board like this and pump it, and sell their shares off for a quick profit while new or bored investors here were lured into becoming bagholders.
If I'm right, the person responsible for "leaking" the "new" website info has already made his profit during the pps surge last week as people were buying into it.
ANYWAY, there had been a lot of official URLs associated to GOIG at one point. In the article linked below, the 3rd paragraph gives 3 of them. Two of them don't work, and the 3rd just redirects to some unrelated site.

Finally, does anyone remember the restricted GOCOM stocks that were award when GOCOM spun off from GOIG? What ever happened to these?
I remember that a few years back, several individuals on this board shared the same/similar email from ike about interest in another corporation. I'm sure a search thru old posts will surface it. I didn't follow but whatever happened to THAT company? What is it about this latest one that makes it different than the last one?
Wasn't www.gocom.us working a few months ago? It's not working anymore. Something's cooking still? Or more things decaying?
soooo...GoCom is still "in business" and may start trading some day?
I'm still seeing "N/A" for the share price and 0 for volume on iHub. Are you guys seeing any real values?
Hi all,
I'm new to this board. I was seeing ppl talking interesting stuff about this company and was wondering if this is a good entry point. Also, based on what I see on the company's website, they are providing B2B services for other companies, but my question is why is everyone here just talking about the MJ stuff that they just finished negotiations for? Has the company changed its focus to just the MJ aspect now? Or do the other business relations arent anything significant?
Can someone please fill me in on what has been going on here lately? IHUB currently shows 0.00 for the shareprice and 0 for volume. I still do see a bid/ask price, and I do see the shareprice on other broker sites..
Are we all waiting/expecting for some kind of news right now?
Why are you guys starting to talk about buying options now?
Just tuck THOOOZENuuuts in your a$$ and cover! lol
i mean "can", not "cant"
And you cant publicly or privately admit that you're just sitting there waiting the next news, just like the rest of us, longs or shorts.
Why don't you share with us the thousands of great companies out that are confirmed to do well based on your extensive research. Also, a lot of don't have the time and luxury of sitting there looking for those "thousands" of good investment opportunities. For some of us, WTSL, being at this price level, IS a good investment opportunity, even if it's a lotto play at this point. You cannot see the future so you cannot claim that WTSL is in a hole that they can't get out of.
That is old news from 12/10/14 (http://www.wsj.com/articles/wet-seal-warns-of-potential-bankruptcy-filing-1418248478?mod=yahoo_hs) that we all know about. The statement that you quoted most likely came from a writer who decided to mingle both old bankrupcty rumors with news from yesterday about store closings into one article. And the way the quote was written mistakenly gives the idea that Wet Seal said it could still file for Ch 11 AFTER announcing store closings. The truth is that Wet Seal spoke of the possibility of filing for bankruptcy BEFORE they made their decision to close stores.
The link I provided says:
"Wet Seal Inc. warned it may file for bankruptcy protection if the teen apparel retailer is unsuccessful in addressing immediate liquidity needs."
Closing stores WILL give them the immediate remedy for addressing the liquidity needs, such as paying back default notices. So, rumors of bankruptcy in the near future is out of the question.
No. If the company has been losing money, it means the stores haven't been profitable, which means the operating costs have been more than the revenue. So if they can get rid of as much operating costs as they can while sustaining a maintainable number of stores, then they can start focusing their existing/cash credit on improving the remaining stores. In other words, cutting operating costs is way more important than trying to worry about decreasing trend of revenues. And by closing half their existing stores, they are reducing their operation costs greatly. They are still in business with their remaining stores and online presence. Now with less burden of maintenance, we can expect them to focus their time into devising a new business/marketing plan. Wet Seal is definitely shaping up to become a better business model, or even a buyout target. Either way, it's not going into bankruptcy like all the bashers are hoping for.
There's nothing wrong with it dropping to $36.45 from $40+ immediately after an IPO. To a lot of folks, that's expected due to some quick profit taking. It's a good sign that HABT is still holding up above its opening bid of $30 on Day 1, and it's still way above its IPO price. Even if it continues to sink a bit further next week, it's still nothing to worry about.
Like one poster already said, it might not reach $25 at all. Maybe you should have clicked the BUY button earlier. I clicked it at $33 "and look at it now..", I'm still up =)
The same thing happened to me when I tried to watch it live. Video tries to load but never does. Then I clicked on link to view the video in bigger size, then it works.
Has anyone contacted GOCOM based on the contact info listed at the new site, and ask when/if the GOCOM shares are going to start trading? Their LIVE HELP feature does work I think.
What are SA articles? Sorry, I'm new here...
Hello everyone,
I first heard of this stock in may '13 when it was around $4. I really wanted to get in but my money was locked up in FB for the longest time. FB finally went up past its IPO. I finally sold it 2 weeks ago (and felt a huge burden lifted of my chest) in the mid $50s, paid some bills and immediately threw the remaining funds into ONVO in the mid $8s. It is awesome that the pps hit $12 today. I want to get more shares but not sure what a good buying point is...Will it drop back to the 8s or so?
hey shadow, good to see u and some others here again
yeah. phoneguard.com now redirects to http://saferidesunlimited.org/
Phoneguard has teamed up with this company (scroll down the page and u'll see it)

ok, I changed one word in my previous post from "for" to "of". Does that change your response then?
The 10Q says:
On November 6, 2012 the Company executed a letter of intent to purchase the software and all related intellectual property relating to the product known as "APPCIDENT" in consideration for $250,000 worth of common stock valued at one-tenth of a penny (based on recent cash sales of common stock) or 250,000,000 shares. In connection with the execution of the letter of intent, an affiliate of the seller invested $75,000 in the Company in the form of a convertible promissory note. Such person agreed to invest an additional $50,000 in the Company by November 30, 2012. The Company also granted the seller an option to purchase an additional $125,000 shares at one-tenth of a penny no later than May 1, 2013.
I may be mistaken but wouldn't this acquisition be of APPCIDENT then?
whatever happened to the rumor that APKN is buying out GOIG?
