If the company isn't financed, it's pretty obvious the value of the stock is probably zero. I think most of the people on the board who own this stock are "betting" it gets financed... eventually. Those that predict 9 cents or 90 cents are just "predicting" based upon no knowledge what so ever, unless they are not telling us something, and I'm betting that ain't the case. So, predict, predict... It means nothing. If it doesn't get financed, it doesn't take a genius to "predict" lower SP. As we continue to "float," once again it doesn't take genius to "predict" this stock going lower and lower. So, let's all stop predicting. Why don't we just find info on this company good or bad, share it and let the chips fall (or rise) as they may.
Why so sad? Just more opportunity as I see it??
Don't think you're selfish. We all want to make money. I'm far from breaking even at this point but I'm certainly am not panicking. I will panic a year from now if things are just drifting as they are now. If that's the case, I'll take my loss and deal with it.
Not sure what the "bad news" was. Financing quarter 1 of 15 isn't new news. Not great news but do you really think this thing won't get financed? Do you really think we're stuck with SP at these levels forever? I don't. If a person is in a hurry then I understand the nervousness. Maybe they should get into a nice safe mutual fund?
Huge buy on American side, somebody thinks it's going up! So far, all I hear is a bunch of speculation and second guessing by certain board members. That isn't news, it's speculation and second guessing. I'm sure those big buyers and sellers aren't watching this board and buying and selling based upon what they read here. If it goes to the 20s well it's just an even better opportunity in my opinion. So put your pennies aside and wait for the low 20s. I've got mine put aside.
"Blackout period"
Changes?

How is it that you know more than them?
This has been a concern for some. This is a positive.

That's the great great thing about owning a stock. Every day you have an option to buy, sell or hold. For the shareholders who are sick and tired of this, of which I'm one, we can opt for any of the three options above. Of all the "predictions" I've not heard one that says this company will go belly up. For those on the sidelines waiting to jump in... congrats on getting in at extremely low prices and possible even lower in the future. We commend you for your amazing ability to foresee the future and overall wisdom. For those who have sold at a loss, well, that's the market for ya! For those whose SP is much higher but continue to to hold (of which I am one) this ain't fun! Actually it's rather depressing. That said, my prediction is that someday, this company will get financing. When it does, SP will move up. Someday this mine will get built. When it does SP will move up. Someday potash from Allana will be loaded on to ships and sold. When that happens, SP will move up. That's what I believe will happen. If you don't believe that to be true, why don't you sell now and take what's left of your investment and try your luck elsewhere. If you've sold, why are you here? If you're waiting to buy, good for you. So, for those of you who predict low 20s or even teens, or lower, so what? Why do you care? Why do you waste your time here? You serve absolutely no worthwhile purpose here other than to antagonize others. So I will summarize your predictions for you so that you don't have to waste your time here. The stock is going lower, maybe the teens or maybe lower. Financing is being put off until sometime next year. Can we throw in lousy management, corrupt gov't, etc.? Does this pretty much say it for you guys? Bottom line...You can buy, sell or hold. It's that simple.
Exactly!
Great! If that happens, what an amazing opportunity for all of us!
Allana mentioned
http://allafrica.com/stories/201409011258.html
Yep! Time to buy! :)
What an amazing opportunity that would be! My PPS is certainly higher that that so if we go there, I'm getting my $$$ ready to dive in for more!!! I'm sure you are too!
Man LTT, hope you're right! Got some $$$ sitting on the sidelines and I'm all over that potential SP! Does your crystal ball say anything about 18 or 19 cents? If so, I can wait a little longer if need be...
What's to keep it from going that low? The way I see it is... nothing. That said, does anyone REALLY think this stock will stay this low forever? I don't. If you buy today, you're gonna make money... someday. Key word, someday. With all of the key players, investors, etc. what are the chances it will stay 30 cents plus or minus for ever? Is it possible? Sure but what are the odds? The odds seem better that it will go up and that eventually a buyout, full financing or something will propel this stock to at least 2, 3 or several times it's present level. That is a terrific opportunity for someone getting in now. I've been a long for quite sometime. I've bought it down to a reasonable SP. Whether or not I'll profit is debatable. That said, I can't imagine anyone in at these prices can't make a few bucks. I think the odds of Allana just going away are slim, possible, but slim. If it drops into the 20s, I'm in for more. All that said, I never invest more than I'm prepared to lose.
What an amazing opportunity that will be!
This is becoming very tempting at this SP. 28 cents and I'm all over it!
I like a company that's proactive. They mean to get the job done! "If you build it, they will come!" :)
Wow, can you just imagine! SP near 20 cents. If that happens I'm jumping all over this one. ertwo, I'm sure you're in on that too. We've got one of the best things going and there are some bucks to be made even at current SP. Putting some cash aside for those 20s! Thanks for the heads up!!!
Well if it does, I'm in for more. There is just no reason for this stock to do much until financing, buyout or production. I'm in for the long haul... down 20%, it's done it before.... I'm bored to tears with Allana BUT I still think their is $$$ to be made.
More news out of Ethiopia and ICL

Wishful thinking or does it make sense? Writer has vested interest but makes some good points.

25 cents! I said I was thru buying any more of this stock and I probably am but I might get reckless and get a few more! Someday this company has to be worth more than a quarter. I do agree, the only thing that will boost this stock is a buyout or complete financing, mine built and potash on the way to port. For the most part I've put this stock on the shelf. Not selling at these prices. Somebody give me a shout if this potential sleeping giant ever wakes up.
How much money does Allana need to start building? Anyone heard anything about potential deals? Buyouts? What the heck is it gonna take to get this PS moving in a positive direction? What will it take to get big money buying into Allana? Will it ever happen? Thoughts from some of you longs out there...
Might... Tis what it is... Just plain bored with this stock and extremely disappointed. That said, my shares aren't for sale... Don't need the money and can afford to wait. I can't imagine that it will continue to be a 40 cent plus or minus a few cents stock forever. Might hit 35. Might hit 55. If I have to wait a couple more years, so be it! This investment was speculative for me to begin with and, if it made me some money...great. If it doesn't, oh well!
Yep, probably right. Hard to believe you're still in the neighborhood with this "bad stock." Guess that means you're out of here. Yeah, don't blame ya. Good luck in your ventures elsewhere! Later now! See ya! By now...
The dilution shouldn't be a surprise to any large investor. If and when big money comes our way, dilution has already been factored in. It's not a secret.
I know it's not news. I really was just venting a bit on how frustrating this SP thing has been. With every piece of good news, we would get a little spike and then down she goes. It just seems there is something about Allana that the market just isn't too excited about. We seem to hit all of the benchmarks and yet we stay in the doldrums. Other than the dilution factor, I can't for the life of me figure out what's going on. Perhaps it's just the fact that potash in general isn't a real hot commodity right now so it's not on anyone's radar.
That is not good news. As a long, I've been very positive about this company etc. now, not sure what to think. With many of the major risks being removed, it seems the market just doesn't like Allana. Not sure why. That said, the big "next step" is financing. If that doesn't move this stock I don't know what will. Might have to wait until potash is on it's way to port. I'm sticking with it but at this point I don't have the high expectations I once had.
So what's everybody's best guess as to how far south do we go before all the flippers bail and we head north once again?
For who? Nothing has changed for Allana longs... We just might be a little better off now that the whole Russian debacle seems to be getting better.
Well if that's true I'm glad there are 31 days in January.
Ok... what's everybody's opinion as to what is driving this?
"We believe that only a small portion of greenfield developers will ultimately finance and construct their projects"
Betting on Allana being one of these. Cost overruns and delays are to be expected. Requires big boy pants! If one is in a hurry, probably best to take your money and run. This play is for longs...
Isn't/wasn't ICL one our potential in investors? Looks like they may have other plans...

Dec 9 (Reuters) - Israel Chemicals (ICL) must become more efficient to deal with steep global declines in potash and phosphate prices, its chief executive said on Monday.
Stefan Borgas said that alongside a plan to significantly expand the company by investing in growing markets in China, Brazil, India and Africa, ICL must slash its costs.
"We have the potential to improve and the need to improve efficiency in our plants by several hundreds of millions of dollars delivered directly to the bottom line in the next two to three years," he told the annual Globes business conference.
ICL is the world's sixth-largest producer of the crop nutrient potash, of which prices slid 30 percent in the last six months in the wake of Russia's Uralkali saying in July it would quit one of the world's two largest potash cartels.
"This is a $500 million impact to the bottom line of ICL," Borgas said.
He said ICL was not competitive enough in phosphates, whose prices have fallen 40 percent the past half year, while costs have risen too much at its Dead Sea operations.
ICL plans layoffs in Israel, which Borgas said was the only way to survive.
He said ICL would continue to invest in potash in the Dead Sea, Spain and a new mine in the UK, while examining growth initiatives in agriculture, food and engineered materials.
For the last time. We ALL get it. You are not an Allana fan, it's possibly going to 15 cents and you're so wise you're out of it so u have nothing to lose. You are kindly explaining to all of us why it's going south and demonstrating to the rest of us how wise you are. Thank you... Is there anything else?
Seems pretty crazy to sell now unless you think Allana is going under. Even in the 20s. Hard to imagine Allana being worthless. Are you an Allana investor or someone with no vested interest but likes to follow certain JVs or?
