Is there any reason for all this Reverse Split talk?
Has there been any real indication that the company is heading that way, or are people just considering the Worst Case Scenario?
11 cents, not to shabby

Musicrypt technology is useless, I've seen it in action, and it doesn't work very well, I had know problem making a copy for myself. I copy for myself so that i don't wreck the original, children & friends aren't so forgiving with cd's, ideally mini-discs are the future
Yesterday, I bought A Perfect Circle cd which is on EMI, it claims to have copy protection, but fails to inform which technology is used, i know its not Steh, and the software included is horrible, and only allows half the songs to play on my MAC
thank you blueduece
Is this about Sunncomm and if so why isn't it mentioned
For Immediate Release

NARM welcomes BMG and Arista's announcement of their first copy-managed CD.
The timing supports ongoing efforts for open communication with consumers on the issues of copyright, file-sharing and overall satisfaction with the music product. It's clear BMG and Arista have listened and responded to our recommendations by addressing the issues of personal copying, compatibility, playability, information, and education.
First and foremost, they have adopted a copy-management approach, rather than simple copy-protection. NARM has encouraged this approach to address both the copyright holder's needs and the needs of retailers and their customers. They have found a way to not only protect their content from piracy, but to recognize that some copying by consumers and retailers is legal and appropriate. Someone who buys this CD, and wants to make a copy to play in the car, a copy for the office, and a copy with the songs in a different sequence- which most consumer research shows us they want to be able to do-can do so. It's also notable that there is even a provision for limited legal file-sharing.
Second, they've addressed the critical need for broad playback compatibility and flexibility. NARM has long emphasized that the consumer experience must not be compromised, so copy-managed CDs must be able to play on a wide range of computers, players and portable devices without sacrificing sound quality. Acknowledging that there are still some technical challenges ahead, they have pledged to make appropriate changes and upgrades as required.
Finally, by this action, they have signaled that retailer, consumer and media education are of paramount importance. Technical requirements and parameters are explicitly disclosed on outside packaging and on the CD; frequently asked questions are identified and answered; and a source of customer support is provided.
NARM serves the music retailing community in the areas of advocacy, networking, information, education, and promotion. The Association's more than 500 members include retailers, wholesalers, distributors, and suppliers of products and services.

I feel sorry for those of you that are panicing because some a--hole from princeton discovered something that was never hidden or denied in the first place.
Only 3% of personal computers are macintosh, i know this because i am a mac user, and as far as Windows 101, most people that burn cds for their friends or for themselves, arn't going to know the ins and outs of Windows or any other operating system.
is that 19,000,000+ volume a glitch or is something happening we should know about
ii2, those were some pretty good reasons
Why would you sell in 30-45 days when you know that Christmas is a key factor in music sales
replace "recalled" with reabsorbed
what your seeing now is the calm before the storm, when the report comes in, and outstanding shares are recalled, we'll start to see gains in leaps and bounds
just keep the faith
Does anybody know if the new Elvis cd will be using Sunncomm technology or is it to late into the production
The Elvis CD would be a sweet contributor
Voyager,
Glad to see you replied, just wanted to see if you were on the ball still
what happened to Voyager546?
is it me or did the creator of this group just fade away, maybe this is just a scam?
Any thoughts
If Sunncomm were to buy back some of its shares even say 1/4 of the total, wouldn't that be enough to get us out of this slump, it's the sheer volume of shares available that is keeping the stock down, even if they earned a trillion in revenues, theres just so many shares kickin around that even multi-million share trade volumes don't seem to budge it.
Peter should bite the bullet and use his own money to help out the people that have dedicated so much of their lives and money to his valiant cause.
If he truly believes in his software and company, he'll step forward and take matters into his own hands.
I think this software is incredible, its like penicillin for the music industry, unfortunately, isn't there the slightest possibility that Sunncomm could be a encryption software "Bre-X", I don't know about the rest of you but I'd like a little heads up if the mighty Peter is planning on jumping ship with a bag full of our money
