I suppose only time will tell rky. What I spent on this stock I never expected to get back, so I have no reason to panic on the outcome...
Pre 14C SEC filing to increase A/S to 35 Billion
http://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1344394/000119312511356335/d277365dpre14c.htm
I was reading the SEC filing for that... It's a Schedule Pre 14C. Either it's so they have the shares to forward the merger, etc, there is wording in the form that also states the increase might be used to prevent a hostile takeover. With all the Big Companies in the area, (like Hecla) not a bad idea to protect one's company from. All IMO. But I can see no reason as to why we should panic... We shall see what happens.
GO CGFIA!
A R/S seems VERY moot. If they were going to perform one, the company would not have let it drop to where it is now (IMO). Besides, it doesn't change the actual value of the shares owned anyways.
The only time I can think a R/S would be a viable discussion for this stock is if we were at risk of being delisted. If anyone can give a factual reason as to why there would be a R/S please share, otherwise, I think the R/S discussion is just a lot of hot air.
As always, Holding and Watching!
Go CGFIA and Happy Holidays!
Woah, where'd that 100 million come from? Debt Conversion? payment for something? Someone is getting a nice $20,000 sum.
Still here are waiting for Permit approval and assays or BUST!
GO CGFIA
THIS STOCK IS ALIVE. IT'S KICKING. lol
For those of us who have an average pps between .0002 and .0004 I really doubt it looks that bad. Besides, why would one ever take unsolicited advice about a high risk stock (especially when that advice comes by way of an internet forum)?
I hope you fair better in your other endeavors.

I do not believe in this stock...
But, I do believe in this company.
(Not to be confused with loving this company, and following blindly).
This should be our board's mantra. Haha
Glta and have a happy thanksgiving!
Goooo Colorado Goldfields, Inc!
I'm only seeing 5,000 at .0002
Are there MM's that just aren't posting their totals?
Homework for newbies to read BEFORE the 10k is posted:

Agreed 567!
It makes so much more sense that it would be someone who would make more money (or losing less) by buying at 2's than at 3's. If so many shares were selling at 3, then the company has it in their best interest to sell at 3, not 2. Especially after we were so close to breaking 3. Who makes the most money by keeping this down?

Any longs here notice the pattern of pumpers in the morning and "bashers" in the afternoon on days like today? I'm no basher, but I'm no pumper either, like most of the longs, I just sit and don't allow my confidence to be shaken in either direction. Anyways, from the amount of cash traded today in both ways, and the lack of movement up OR down, it's hard not to be a consipracist.
If it truly was dilution, this stock would not hold steady at .0003, that being said, interesting that the negatives came in right before there was increased volume at .0002. It seems someone has a lot to lose if the price increases (shorters?). Volume today was very encouraging, honestly, for myself, a planned long. I never expected it to reach 4 today due to the amount of money in shorts out there, and the amount of protection there would be in place for people who would need to cover on the increase.
Remember, today was only the first step. Rome was NOT built in a day, and when shorters declare all out "war" like today (which is how I saw it) we are in for a bumpy ride over the next couple of months at the most. Hold on tight, if you CAN!

As the immortal Foghorn Leghorn may have put it, "Assay, Assay, Assay, boy! How much gold you have in those mines?"
lol
Sooner the better, Do we think they are waiting to release assay news in series with the next 10k? Last year the 10k was released on Nov 19th.
Go CGFIA!
We've already been through this on the board, there are still brokers out there that work fine, including Scottrade, which I use.
I have to agree on the off topic idea. As mostly a tertiary source, it's almost completely invalid to include anything from the yeehaw board here. I'd like to see many more primary and secondary sources here, with discussion staying on topic to that data. Thanks for doing this Seig! I've been hoping someone would spring clean this board for a while, now!

Weather looks great in Silverton for this week, Sunny days with highs in the 40's. Great week to get work done at the mill, and hopefully the pattern holds through next week!

Current share structure will become moot, imho, after the company begins making a steady profit. A share buy back would certainly be viable path in that situation. Therefor, I think the constant proclaiming of how it will "never" get that high is pure huff and puff. Proven reserves (after the assays) will certainly help the market cap, but a net profit will be what we need in order to get the buy back program started. To use infinitives in the case of share price is a bit ignorant, hopefully no offense is taken, because I have to say: unless you have truly prophetic powers and can give me the winning lottery numbers I supremely doubt you can give an infinitive point as to where share price will "never" reach. I think that's the difference between most of the optimists and pessimists on this board, one hears a LOT more negative infinitives coming from the pessimists (imo) than positive infinitives from the optimists.
That being said, I believe in this stock and certainly will be glad to see it move as news comes in over the next 6 months. We, as share holders, are notoriously impatient when it comes to exploration etc, and we feel like we should get to sit over the shoulders of the employees of the companies we have invested in, though good management practice tells us that this can be counter productive for the quick, and more importantly quality, completion of work. While I certainly agree that keeping a company accountable is important, I think there is wisdom in the notion that leading with a gentle lead versus a heavy fist (a vast majority of the time) will bring vastly better results.
This is certainly my own opinion, but I truly believe in this notion as I employ it in my own work.
Anyways, GLTA! :)

No need to aggressively attempt to twist the meaning of other people's posts. If your information is valid, you shouldn't need to include negativity about another poster to prove it.
Please, share why YOU think CGFIA is the way it is or will be, and not why you think the board is a lie. That's off topic.
I can appreciate the quiet days on here, it allows for a breather and time to analyze all of the new data available.
When's the last time we saw a PR out without the pumpers? That ALONE is big news to me!

The company hasn't lost value, if anything its value has improved today with the $22 Million initial price-tag given on the mine.
Look at market cap and you will see this company is WAY under valued. I don't care how low it goes right now, that just means a bigger discount on my purchases (even THOUGH I buy at the ask). I look at the prices right now as a vetting process for stock owners, it weeds out the weaker hands and lets us buy those shares at a discount while we wait for the ride up! If you are willing to sell because a couple of posters (a vast minority) speak ill of the stock, your shares probably belong in my pocket anyway! lol
The 0.0002 purchase today looks like someone selling their position. Nothing more. Weak hands make mine richer!

Lol that is correct! When you get technology that can see exactly how much gold is in the ground deep beneath our feet, you let us know... ;)
Great PR and great news!
I completely agree with you, I never said the mill would NOT open either. ;) I said it may, and it may not, though I will put my money where my mouth is, and am betting it will. Did you put money on it not opening? That would definitely explain your stance on the board...
On a side note, your usage of quotes on the words, 'believe' and 'hope' are grammatically unneeded, as any body who reads the thread can easily find where I said each word AND their context(your quotes imply a separate context, in tone, from what I used). Unless you are implying that those words mean something else, in which case what are you trying to say? (this is just a request for clarification)
Anyway,
GLTY And may you find a dollar in your pocket tomorrow that you placed there today.
Brett
GO CGFIA!
That's an interesting correlation, but that is all it is. Correlations rarely prove anything, and are too often used as "facts" of proof. The reason we are waiting for the mill is that the mill operating directly increases the company's share price due to the company being worth more money per share. Giving correlations on volume vs. share value has little merit at this point in the game. That being said, you are entitled to your opinion that the mill may not operate...
I believe the mill WILL reach operation. This isn't an emotional or proud response, it is an honest look at all the data provided (including PRs, SEC postings, DRMS files, etc). I don't presume to be able to forecast a future price, as I think that is a bit arrogant of one's abilities(I have yet to meet anyone whom is omniscient)...
On that note, good luck to you! You may get what you hope for, and so may those of us that are still holding. It's not a matter of life and death for me, and the value of entertainment ALONE that I've gotten through this stock is well worth what I put into it. I like to include my opportunity cost in my stock values as well, keeps me realistic and optimistic and LESS EMOTIONAL. :)
GLTA and have a great day

What's the scam? Please give response in detail with sources. :)
Uranium is all over the news, here, in Colorado. We're currently in a Uranium production boom, due to high demand. So it only goes to say that Utah might begin to experience it there too. (only you thought Colorado was tough on miners, Utah is often worse due to environmental groups)

The board's quote is behind. Scottrade has the price already off the three and back to 4/5.

Here's a link to the full discussion of La Nina:
http://www.cpc.ncep.noaa.gov/products/analysis_monitoring/enso_advisory/ensodisc.html
La Nina is possibly moving in for this winter. Nation Weather Service doesn't give a strength of the event yet, but if it is a strong la Nina, that means very dry in the Southern Mountains of Colorado (fantastic for us!) and tons of snow in the Northern Mountains again. In the least, we should expect a winter similar to last winter. Which will be great for Mill Work!
:)
Great to see a close of 5/6!

At least one of them has even admitted to having shorted CGFIA...
I've been keeping up with NOAA's long term 3 month average (over the next year) climate pattern prediction, and Southwest Colorado has a good chance of staying much warmer and a little drier than normal. Here's to hoping they're right, even if just through October!
Here's a link to the NOAA climate prediction center site:

Sounds like people trying to protect shorts. 16% loss for a short sold at .0004 and then bought back at .0005... Let em weep. lol

Great to see all the new numbers on the board today! Nice to know there are others who love pulling money out of the ground, too... Good luck to you all, and Hope to see you soon in SILVERTON for shots of Goldschläger! Hopefully, we can increase the population of Howardsville very soon(and get some jobs going for those itching for some in Silverton)!

Anyone feel like sticky-noting a checklist of the TR-11 items completed and otherwise?
A little data on the Brooklyn Mine, to those interested. Included is a photo of a gold sample from the mine ('retrieved in May of 1980 by a miner named Ed Melka'). This site is great for doing personal DD about the mine's a company may acquire.
http://www.mindat.org/loc-8891.html
So, the less the information you have, the more you claim to know... Interesting form of DD, though I have to agree with PG about your question. One might as well walk up to a woman on the street and ask what kind of underwear she's wearing.
"Everything is out there if you know how to find it, and have the patience. I don't and haven't, but that's my problem."
-Tom Holt
Not professing others to have some, as one cannot teach patience. But, patience is what allows us to chip away at the earth and move mountains. Mining is not an instant process, and neither is setting up a mine or mill in Colorado. For those longs, just keep focused on patience and understanding of those who do not do the full DD. We know the risks, but we also know the rewards (great reward oft requires great risk).
I'm not recommending to buy/hold/sell (I'm in as deep as my pockets will comfortably allow), but I'm not selling out until I know the mill will not be permitted. "One has not lost or gained money until one sells the shares," as my old personal finance professor used to say.
Their first milestone was to file the first component of the permit amendment. This was done on time, one can find the documentation on the DRMS database. Every single mile stone they listed has be attained this year. They are right on par to getting first Revenue in December. Again, do ALL of the proper DD.
For a list of their publicly stated milestones:
http://cologold.com/investors.htm
Our projected timeline & milestones for 2011 are:
March 2011 - File first component of permit amendment with the Division of Reclamation, Mining & Safety
May 2011 - File remaining components of permit amendment with the Division of Reclamation, Mining & Safety
June 2011 - Continue "on the ground" work for Pride of the West ("Mill") mill reactivation
July 2011 - Continue exploration program for the Brooklyn Mine
August 2011 - Certify the Mill for operation
September 2011 - Accept ore processing from nearby properties (first revenue), continue exploration programs at CGFI owned properties
October 2011 - Process ore from Company mines
December 2011 - First operating revenue
Investor News Source does not disclose who hired them. In the disclaimer on their website it just states that a third party can hire them to promote a company, and goes on to talk about share holders etc. This could have been paid for by anybody. Sounds like a possible scam, sure, but no evidence points directly at CGFIA or its executives.
It's an interesting set of "opinion" articles by a couple of Russian guys and an "email" that I never received as an investor... I am going to need to see more hard evidence than a couple of no-name Russian rants and a third-party email which is probably not directly associated with CGFIA.
I'm familiar with that style of trading. Buy on the way down, sell on the way up. Nothing wrong with that!
