come on 22.....come on 22 (not meant as a response)
off hand, what is the cash position(including the 12 million) and burn rate per quarter for Invivo?
I know that feeling.
So you wouldn't be interested in the rumor that their just may be a secret underground tunnel being constructed between Ocata and GE?.....lol
So has Ocata been given the thumbs up by the FDA to continue to phase II?
If you missed Laser's post, here it is, "The full $OCAT USA Clinical Trial details are discussed in the Lancet Peer Publication and concluded to be no issues of concern. The DSMB, EMA, and FDA as well as the Ophthalmologists are all in agreement."
Of course we have to keep in mind that the phase I participants were of a most advanced stage of AMD and Stargardts....making such results probably more likely even if they had not received the injections. There is probably data enough to show that the incident rate is indeed not significant at all (the occurrence and or development of cataracts).
There is no evidence of 33% serious issues due to RPE cells...I certainly can't say don't listen to someone who would say so, so I won't say that.
If there were developments of cataract or other, that was not due to what they were studying, the safety of the RPE cell themselves. Also reported were engraftment, acuity gains, and the desire by those in the trial to have their other eye treated!
It could happen...might even triple in a couple of months
It is nice to know the cost of the trials is not comparable to other trials, as this is being done on folks on an out patient type basis. Don't let anyone mislead you into thinking Phase III will be of some enormous cost.
The blood technology will be a huge opportunity...but taking the focus off the eye program now would be like changing horses in midstream...
It seems obvious to me that shares bought at any given offering price will be sold for a profit, not a loss. Thus the PPS will only have one logical place to go, and that is up from the unknown (for now) offering price. Why would they sell for less? Obviously they don't release news during the offering, it is against the rules. Why, well the rules sure seem to favor the entities that are participating in the offering, obviously they don't want to pay a sky high price for them. When the offering is done, the Positive PPS affecting info will then come out. Then they make their money.
I don't agree. You could have said the offering price is 12 and the pps would follow. Whatever the offering price, it doesn't really matter, the PPS is not married to the offering price. The PPS will be upwardly affected by the exposure it will receive from the uplist. This doesn't preclude the PPS going to any old price, because it has a history of moving up and down.
This is huge, thanks for the share nutman!
For day player$, yes, this one will pop as it does from time to time in the not so distant future. It could 100% pop or 200% pop...it won't be sleeping too much longer.
I appreciate your concerns, and perspective. But some of the perspective may be casting a "blind eye" towards the best in field science and IP already established by Ocata/ACTC/Lanza etc. The effectiveness is second to none and represents the most robust nature of the stem cell in action. Best of luck to all....the PPS at this level is really a bargain...especially with the seeming restlessness being expressed, often a harbinger of a rise in the near future.
eggzackly I know what deafness is like, my father was deaf in one ear, then completely when he was in his later senior years, and my mother had some sort of hearing problem too, she often responded to us bizarrely.
Good thing there will be some regenerative medicine for that....
I think the end of the "quiet Period" will be analogous to the silence then the cacophony of the moments before and after the clapper strikes a bell tower bell.
I have not......heard....of that research.....is this for real? If they have that going on, it would be nice to get into regenerating teeth and hair.
Personally I'm afraid of going into a quiet time...people will talk about me too much.
Langer is on Ocata's board, he is getting a good look at the best stem cell differentiating company.
Hopefully this little solar company will see the light of day! 'tis a good start...
I appreciate your response. There is a multiple of perspectives. Some of us are loyal to a cause and feel like we are a part of a solution. There is that appeal. Another appeal is that something is probably imminent, and that imminent things is most likely a big turning point for OCAT for the positive. We don't like waiting. Studies show that there is greater agony in experiencing a deprivation and delay of a benefit than most any other kinds of punishment (like a monetary fine, for instance). I feel like as much as some posters have cited this and that about when things should happen, this just increases the emotional agony element when these expectations are not met. I think it is true that some sources cite even Paul W. has raised such expectations. I feel like we need some info, and I too am feeling the vacuum of the lack of info. On the other hand, I'm sure he will not compound the situation by publishing pending resolutions till they are finished. No doubt he'd like to assure all, but that would probably lead to the recycling of speculation, and the agony of really not knowing till it is finished.
I think a theme of your list is, of course, the aspect of human psychology. The schism between the known and the unknown. The schism between what we have been lead to believe should happen or should have happened by now, and the unknown of what is happening. What can guide us? Some will cite the past years accomplishments by this recent Management team and note that we were struggling with a lack of knowing what was going on then, and when the info became known, there was once again confidence.
Others have noted past management and their mismanagement, and infer that this new group is a continuation of the old group, even though we have no evidence of that. Perhaps it is time to listen to Cat Steven's musical advice as he sings. "It's not time, to make a change, just relax take it easy...." Meditate on what is known....
I think the quiet period prevented participation in the preparation phase...
I think we've entered the super secret quiet overtime period...lol
So with the quiet period coming to a close, can we start talking about how great Ocata is?
20/400 to 20/40 improvement is a gamechanger! Anyone who denigrates this verified improvement loses credibility! All judgement by such an entity person becomes suspect. Meanwhile, Ocata gains respect and renown with regular folks who want to see clearly again, and those who would join us in this quest to free people from the shackles of vision impairment/disease.
It should be noted that no other treatment has had even one dramatic result such as this. I remember when scientists and researchers were questioning whether there would be engraftment, the cautious sentiment was that if this happened (and it was thought to be highly unlikely) that would be a huge homerun. Even though it was doubted, it happened.
Like seeds planted in a field, what if you planted 18 seeds and the majority of them grew, and that was an improvement on any seed you'd tried before....my hunch is, You'd plant the rest of the land and reap a harvest!
No doubt that it has been reported and SEC filing documented the occurence of the cowboy who measured 20/400 and improved to 20/40 after the RPE injection by ACTC/Ocata. So this is a case of legal blindness which has been reversed all due to the efforts of the Ocata/ACTC company. So it seems there is some justification. Who would deny this?
The science accomplishments drive the business side. I've seen other Biotechs with institutional investors and a place on the next exchange perish, because the science was not on the same plane as Ocata.
Sure is quiet today...
There is going to be some kind of synergy going on between Ocat and Vcel.
Hey Hop, the PPS is at about 6.66.....now....what does that mean?
I see 6.80 as the price on the so called AH trade.
This link seems official enough.

"Jordan is now able to, "Pivot his hips and move his legs through the water." Those are impressive results!"
Thanks for sharing. That quote is my favorite part of the article.
Rocky (RIP) was all about verifiable facts, almost entirely the business end. Though he did mention that he had no doubts about the science end of the company. He did not speculate for the most part, but would venture a little as to the veracity of some of the legal cases against the company(all resolved now), referencing the details available from posted court documents and the companies financial filings. It was a nice resource when he would contact the TA and he could pretty much pinpoint the shares and perhaps where they were destined to go (settlements, capital raise...etc.)
In days gone by, Rocky301 would contact the TA and figure how many shares the company had authorized to sell and figured how much cash they had on hand. The reality is, as an interested person, you have to assume that this is ongoing and right now we just don't know how much cash is on hand. I would say that Ocat may indeed have increased their cash on hand and therefore does have the required equity for Nasdaq uplist....speculation to the contrary depends on the last available filing...which by now is simply old news.
I appreciate your posts....but do you have an optimistic spin, say based on real possible events that will have a positive effect on the PPS? It seems within the realm of possibilities that some very good things will happen, given the positive results of the iTLD alone. You may say it is a small sample, but if you have studied small sample statistics, you can verify some pretty significant findings with these iTLD results. It has a lot to do with the parameters of the study, and the depth of knowledge with each individual involved in these groundbreaking studies. Depth of knowledge is what gives these results veracity. In this case the old adage, "quality over quantity" seems to apply.
