I couldn't agree with you more.
On a similar note. There was a post a few days ago that implied the contracted manufacturers would bleed all the profit out of sales. Specifically of the canisters. I don't believe it. The value added we have in the IP / technology will be monetized.
And placing orders :)
I wouldn't count on six million shares being available to be bought at .001. Concerning whether or not it is worth paying .001 per share that is up to you; there is plenty of DD on this board and the new AFPW company website to help you decide. And especially if you are putting a lot of money (based on your own standard of what is a lot of money) on any investment; you should do as much independent research as it takes to make you comfortable investing or passing on investing. (Or comfortable staying investing if you are already invested.)
I totally agree with you. The quality of the company and management can support the OS. Hopefully regular income to replace dilution is now here.
"corp" and "tech" work for me.
Thanks.
Great to see the new website. It looks impressive, is structured well, and has great beginning content.
No news again today. Website under construction still as well.
I am resting very comfortably with my investment. And I enjoy getting to know better the wonderful co-owners I have met on this AFPW i-hub board.
If you feel this way you did the right thing by selling. But don't expect to be able to get back in anywhere close to prices this low when the negatives you are concerned about are no longer an issue. Best of luck to you in your next investment.
I would have added at these prices if I had money available in a broker account.
I totally agree with your post L.
You are right the reality of the company isn't perfect. And I appreciate your posts this morning. Best of luck to you with your AFPW investment.
My confidence is firm and exuberant, yet if the worst case scenario does happen, then I will not lose my inner peace and joy. The potential streams have been mentioned numerous times by many on this board, in addition to the Air Force:
1) Meteorological Trade Show responses are not dead.
2) Mentor program has great hope
3) Canisters, for all PBIS sales
4) Other development grants / contracts, e.g. navy and airforce, including non-powdered AL (liquid, solid and other substances)
5) And I'm sure a lot more
When it seems that patience should no longer be needed, is when the true longs are just hitting their stride in exercising their patience. And when it seems that patience will be needed forever, is when the true long's patience is rewarded. The switchover between these two states can be sudden, swift, and sweet. And can cause to swell to a flood, the arid river bed of hope.
Concerning the income from the PBIS-2000 delivery. It won't show up until the 2nd quarter report. I am very excited about the growing revenue streams that will be flowing in quarter by quarter moving forward.
Those that patiently hold AFPW stock will be rewarded, IMO.
the "inc" and "tech" websites still have the under construction notice as well. We are one day closer.
Nice! Thanks for posting this, and for all your faithful contributions to this board.
Yes it is. And the overall trend will be our friend for a very long time; culminating in the waxing candles transforming into a fireworks celebration of an AFPW buy out.
There seems to be a battle going on over the closing price; 13 or 15. As of 4:00 on the button, 15 seems to have won out. Go AFPW.
The past month's chart looks the strongest in a long time. Slow and steady with a healthy amount of consolidation. And we are in the middle of an open ended extended news cycle too. Go AFPW.
That's what AFPW longs want to see; deep pockets funding.
AShorty, I stuck the $50 I had in my broker cash bucket into the water early today, and finally caught some 14s (the other 28,600 that had been on the ask. It was a little bit above my average cost, but a few more shares doesn't hurt. Someone really wanted to sell just before the coming waves of great news. Congrats on getting the bulk of yours at 13.
Don't feel bad. It could be if you asked for a name first you would have gotten no information. Thanks for posting the results of the albeit short conversation.
I interpret it $$$. The employee knew AFPW is a Hydrogen Based Technology Company. Makes me smile.
Excellently stated.
No news this morning, but we still have over 64 hours to get the website up to be on time. There could be a weekend or Monday a.m. PR stating that the website went live over the weekend.
And the volume on the bid (high) and ask (low :)
I agree, PBIS-200 could be the larger money maker. And has been said before the ever repeating canister orders; for all the models.
Training could include among other things: the proper ranges of the guages, and what to do if the pressures exceed them, any safety issues (including what to do if)), How to recognize when hook ups are right, weather conditions (or open space conditions) that need to be met to operate the unit. Types of balloons that can be filled (e.g. material, desired range of thickness of balloon wall, diameter of opening hydrogen gas enters into, etc.) What to do if the hose springs a leak or is disconnected during operation. Safety equipment, e.g. gloves, googles that are required, absence required, or choosable by the user. Dot, Dot, Dot.
One line item on the original PBIS-2000 contract was two days of on-site training. Go AFPW.
That may not be true. Since it probably has some residue inside it to make it minimally less than ideal for recycling.
Agreed, nice find. Go AFPW
GM all. It appears there is no PR today. At least not at the normal time. It is just a matter of time, there is so much good news about to happen.
Maybe the L2 problem, is contributing to the lack of buying. There was plenty of volume the first hour and a half this morning. How was the L2 functioning then? Otherwise, just a mainly slow day, with people preoccupied with the big boards. The amount of IHub posts seems low, along with the low volume of AFPW trades. All IMO, as are all my posts.
Agreed, and really great news (especially highlighted in a new website and with time and continued quality documented results) will produce much pps gains.
I sure wish I had some available funds right now.
I totally agree with you.
Totally agree with you. The simplicity of the unit, the quality of the subcontracted parts, and the care taken to do a quality job from design to delivery packaging will go a long way in having units that last a long time.
I applaud the classical music reference renaissance man.
When multiple are needed, there may be volume discounts. Also, a maintenance kit could be very cost effective, possible combined with send in warranty repairs and loaners while being worked on.
Buying a new one (of many especially high price things in general) would be bad business. In this case bad use of taxpayer money. Though it would be great for our company if it didn't slow down customers from buying our product to begin with :)
