Roll call...who's on the phone?
GVC Bakersfield
And the purpose of this 2 year old "news" is WHAT?!
I would also like to add my deep appreciation for your commitment to the greater good, and the loss of your fallen brother. First responders are heroes in my book. I am a hospital CEO and I am amazed at the acts of selflessness that I routinely see, but are not often seen by the general public. Thank you, my friend.
This a monitored site, and this may be construed as off topic, so go HLNT.
OK, so, I have sold my complete interest in SNRS at 2x. But here is the thing about China. I am very bullish on American initiated, Chinese ventures. It's just that this one is a scam. I do like GDH* and HLN*.
So, I have a friend that sells re-pops for classic Ford trucks. It's a small, yet lucrative, market. He started out with a USA plant but quickly saw that he was at a price disadvantage. So he now has a plant in Korea and a plant in China. He spends roughly 6 months a year in Asia and keeps an apartment in both and Korea and China. And he loves it. And he makes way more money than when he was producing the same parts in the United States.
Bottom line for me is that there is money, and maybe even big money, to be made in China. SNRS isn't one of them. Those PRs...who really believes that those forward looking, unsubstantiated claims are anything but an attempt by scammers to try to push up the pps while dumping paper into it to enrich themselves at the expense of the stockholders.
Do your own DD. This my opinion only.
PS I am not paid to be a basher. I'm just trying to find a big payoff in pinkie land, and I think it is in China.
Your "free" shares are no different than paid for shares. Whether they are "free" or paid for, they have the same value. I am amazed at the idea that "free" shares are somehow viewed as different. All dollars are the same. A dollar is a dollar, and there is no other way to say it, or to bank it.
Whether you find a dollar bill on the street, or you earn a dollar at your place of employment, each of those dollars have the same value. You can buy something for a dollar with either of them.
Honestly I have say, this whole idea of "free" shares escapes me. Can someone enlighten me on the difference???
Hey, your "small potatoes" will explode into a McDonalds Super Size Fries! A little extra catsup with your order?
MLMN filed an 8K on 9/27/10 which confirms that, on fact, MLMN did acquire Bong.
John Deere HQ is in Moline, Illinois. Where will you be in Iowa?
I feel your pain...Oregon is the same way.
Yes, Bong is selling both in the US and abroad. Bong is much better capitalized with MLMN than before being acquired. A well executed production and marketing plan would be in order and I would think is being worked on.
The $0.30 run up took place when MLMN acquired Bong. It seems to me that the current/near future state is better positioned than at that time. I would imagine that MLMN will be selling stock into the news to raise capital to support the increased production and distribution, which seems reasonable to me at this point in their business cycle. I wouldn't view it as a pump and dump. MLMN is a real company and Bong is a real product. IMO
OK, so you have "free" shares. The fact of the matter is that ALL dollars are equal. In this case, your "free" shares are no different that the ones you paid for. They still represent real dollars...dollars that are the same, they are all equal whether you think you have them "free" or not. A prudent investor would view those "free" shares as equal to those you paid for. My advise? And it's "free" so you get what you pay for...treat your
"free" shares the same way you treat your paid for shares...because, after all, they have the same value, the same worth. "Free" shares are the same as paid for shares...a prudent investor would invest them equally. kb
Chump change or not, you got out with a profit. Those holding for the next couple of weeks will be doing just that...holding because there will be no bid once the pumping stops and Chin dumps what he wants into the news. IMO...and glad to have gotten out at 2x.
Lurker here for several months. I sold my 60,000,000 shares this week bought at .0001, sold at .0002. TIme will tell...the rearview mirror provides so much clarity...but/and I think this is a scam royale. Chin is selling into this weak PR and when the dust settles, there will be no bid. Just my two cents. kb
You know what...I want there to be a good kick tomorrow, too, but, realistically, that won't happen. You have to be following this pretty closely to appreciate the gravity of this settlement. I don't think we will see movement until a PR that rocks. Not trying to bash but rather trying to be realistic. I'm long sitting on 5M shares (and for that, I am grateful). IMO
OK, so the news good in that this is now behind us. OK, so there are additional shares, more than a 100M, which in the scheme of things is pretty minimal. Removing this debt from the financials will be a big plus when newbies are doing their DD. Onward and upward!
So, it would appear that the author of this, and I use this term loosely, article, never completed junior high. Poor resourcing and worse journalism. And his purpose is...what???
"Don't drop the soap"...made me actually laugh out loud!
Hey, Marc. Can you annotate this for those us less knowledgeable? Many thanks!
Hi, Gary11. I see you are new to the board, with a big purchase. Looks like the the same scenerio over on the HL*T board. So, what's up?
"my dog PD is a mutt that is well fed"...that is too funny!
Merry Christmas, longs...Santa has something special for us...
You and me, bro. Still holding strong...and will continue to do so despite those who spew venom...their motives are self-centered and have absolutely nothing...nada...to do with the value of holding stock in this company. If you buy at this stupid low price, and are willing to put up with the pinky world over the next several months, or maybe even the next couple of years, you will be richly rewarded. If not, then I would encourage you to get with whatever skin you have in the game and move on.
For me, I am in for the long run...
OK, the words are in English. So, maybe I should be a bit more open minded about translation into English. I just don't think someone new on this board would be inspired to plunk some hard earned cash on a pr like this. Just my Anglo thought...
And see what it say??? Really? Is that your post?! Is this link in English? Pulease...I am long here...so, help me out...is this non-english link supposed to instill some sort of confidence in this stock?! Well, think again. It won't scare me away but it may scare newbies to HLNT away. What are you thinking?
Yes, their new site is excellent...very professional looking. Take a look!
SNSS...I don't think that's it. Here on GDHI, we don't get to other stocks. That said, I think he is thinking of an 'R".
You ask who makes both mobile phones and computers. Uhhhh...Apple?
Good observation. I might give a slight modification to your reference to the "pump"...this company has been remarkably resistant (and I might even say a bit maddingly relative to the pps) to pumping. What I like about this guy, Chad, is that he only delivers pr when it's a done deal. It would be so easy for him to "pump" on what could be.
So, it makes it a bit hard to buy on the rumor and sell on the news, but if you are long here, it is just a matter of time (and patience). These stupid prices will not be around for long. I used what powder I had to move up on my shares even though I have averaged up...against maybe what many of us consider conventional wisdom...this is not your prototypical pinky. In or out...we all make our decisions on rather curious criteria...the only question for me that remains is where shall us longs meet to spill a little champagne! kb
Hey, you will do well with 1.5mm shares if you hold them. I would be the first to admit it would be easy to sell off on a bump in pps. What I find interesting, and uncommon, is that to do so, could put you in a position to miss the big ride.
Do what you what you want (that's generic, not you ASimEE, in particular). Do your DD. Buy this stupid low price and hold and you will join me, and the other longs here, as we ride into the sunset with a shitload of cash. kb
So, he's like French or something so there is a translation issue. That said, well, I think we all know that he ain't quite right.
The only rational reason for him to be so negative while holding (his claim) 30mm shares, is to drive down the price to secure more cheap shares. And, let me say, these are cheap prices...get em while you can!
Anyway, ASimEE, I'm with you 100% on your thoughts re this company...I could have said stock, but this is soooo much more about the company than the stock itself.
I'm sitting on 5mm shares, up this week from 3.6mm. It averaged up my position but I firmly believe this has been a great buy.
Long and strong, kb
You know what, that's a good question about forb's share ownership. Yesterday, he claimed that he is holding 30mm shares. Seems unlikely to me. What say you, forb?
You go, dude! I am patient and look forward to the fruits of your labor. It still remains an impressive thing that pinky investors are actually involved with the product sales...makes me want to double down on the 800k shares I bought today...
Huh? I mean, really, WTF??? And you hold 30 million shares? Are you serious? What does your cryptic message mean? I prolly sound a bit offensive...pardon me...I'd like to know what you are thinking with such a large holding...
I'd like to hear more about this. Pretty unusual circumstance in pinks. I'm a bit of a lurker here with 4.8mm shares and long. So, what transpired today?
Well, yeah. My point is not that it it high volume per se but rather it is the highest in several months. Just wondered why...
Wonder what's up with today's volume on a rising pps? Highest volume since the big run up on this stock this past spring...
Agreed.
Grey Goose started out the same way. That got bought out by Bacardi. MLMN is no Bacardi. That said, MLMN could get picked up by a Bacardi type company. Bong will be big. If I didn't believe that, I wouldn't be as invested as I am. If you are buying at these prices, you won't be disappointed. Heck, even on the rising pps that is coming, you won't be disappointed.
IMO, MLMN is not a bev play. It is a lifestyle play and Bong is only part of the equation. That said, even without the significant dollars MLMN brings to the table, Bong vodka has been doing pretty well in spite of a really crappy economic climate. Distribution in most states and several countries. The new, rising Chinese middle class loves Americana "luxuries". Bong vodka fits that market to a T. Buy while you can at these stupidly low prices.
MLMN business plan calls for adding other lifestyle products. Additionally, the Bong label is supposed to be expanded to include premium tequila, rum and perhaps others. They are just slow getting out of the gate. I remain optimistic that there will be news soon and there will be money to be made here.
