Well, that is the way it has been in the past, so the odds are for a repeat. I do hope that for once Andy beats projections, but that would also surprise me because he's been such a failure guiding the company.
Thanks, but as you know from past experience with Andy, many agreements or MOU's go by the wayside, and we are no informed. Since I have heard nothing much about this arrangement in 2 years how is one to know it is still valid? Have we taken delivery any trucks from them or built a fueling station for them. If so, I must have missed it.
Well, just my opinion, but I prefer any post that are regarding the H2 business to maybe state if it is general in nature as to be informative or to say something how Plug is involved. For us old farts that are a bit cognitively challenged that would be a help. I enjoy most of what BB post as they are not doom and gloom or BAD NEWS. I think his post are done with a good heart.
Just watched. They show 1300 Kg and you are saying we are at 4500kg?
Is this the type or trailer Plug is using? Just wondering if it has anything to do with them or if they will need to purchase these?
Maybe, Amazon has plans and needed him at Plug to make sure things were done right and they stayed in business? I can only hope it was for charity reasons to help us out because I'm sure he was not cheap.
Well, there goes the salary and stock options. Sure that cost was not cheap. Well, hope it makes a difference, but they still need a new CEO and CFO.
Hard to tell with you as it could go both ways at times. I guess only you know your own heart and intentions as I do not see your trades so cannot say definitively.
Depends on intent does it not? If a person believes and has valid reasons it is one thing. If he or she, does it just to entice buying and then dumps it is another. Kind of like posting BAD NEWS all the time to get people to sell.
Gee how is that different from many of the newsletters and some posters that put out half-truths and stories that only have a negative spin like BAD NEWS! That along with bogus lawsuits that have little merit. Not saying that is always the case here, but I think we have seen this happen throughout the last 10 years. Granted, some might be deserved due to the management's failures and lack of honesty and transparency. They definitely gave them fodder to attack with.
Yep, it looked that way, but then Andy, as usual, was a buzz kill and pulled that garbage. The shorts never had a better friend than Andy for sure. Waiting to see if the bottom line shows any marked improvement at all and that trend starts looking better at least. If so, it should help the stock. Hard to believe that everything is taking years longer than expected. I have a feeling Andy knew but sold everyone on things turning faster. Really, hard to believe anything until you see it with Andy.
The CEO and CFO should not lie to shareholders and should be removed for doing so. Just stating facts as a long-term shareholder. And I hope they do turn it around and I live long enough to get my money back, but doubtful as they have failed at about every turn, so I kind of expect the same until proven otherwise. They created this mess and not the ones who point it out.
Why not? Many of us have been with Plug for 10+ years. Many are down 100K or more and have seen mismanagement, a lack of transparency and downright lies over the years. They have failed to run a profitable business model hoping that if you build it they will come. Of course, if you sell products that save them money and you give it away, they will come. We were told numerous times they would not dilute us and did just that days later. We have been told numerous time we will be Break even at a certain date and that never happened. They have all these deals that never happen that they tout. So, don't say there should be nothing negative said about Plug. You have not walked in our shoes!
Most likely correct. Not sure if the savings and increased revenue offset the cost of taken such actions, but we will see soon. They did somewhat warn on this, but I am wonder if there's something more to this. I do wonder how much they have kicked back to the DNC and wonder how they hide it.
That makes sense. When Shell closed down the stations where are you going to get fills from?
Very good questions Jack. Either they used up all the ATM, thought it was not working or getting more funding now and keeping the ATM until such a time they feel that another 2 plants are operational and making enough to get them to BE or close to it so they can yet again go back to the capital markets for expansion. As for the employees I'm guessing Andy has the business to keep them going or feels he soon will and would rather keep them on a few months until the DOE loan gets in versus letting them go and having to find and train new employees.
What investors was that messaged to? Not me. So, takes us to 2025 and then they go after more money? So, they spent 200 million on Tx. already? What did they get done with that? Can we see pictures of what has been done and what percentage complete it is? Sorry, how can anyone trust Roberto or Andy to tell the truth or be transparent?
OK, Jack, you were right. Feel better now.
I thought we were to be at 1000 vehicles by now and not 100, but this is typical of Andy to over promise and under deliver. What a great promoter, but a lousy CEO. He's screwed so many people out of their life savings and does not even care. Shame on him!
BE up on deal they made. Chip stocks down on China news.
You got a reprieve. Who would have known the whole NAZ would tank on China news besides insiders.
Jack, have you covered yet? Plug is not giving back the gains, except in the morning and then recoup. Notice the trend has changed. There is finally, after 3 years a change in the wind. Can you not feel it?
Not sure, but looks like they made the same mistake.
The only issue I have with the article it states could and trials. So, it seems we are virtually where we were 4 years ago and starting over. Hope the second time works and it is beneficial to both firms, and we can actually make money off the deal.
Are we working with Odin? I had never heard of them.
Great news. The Chevron defense was a great move as agencies of unelected officials have circumvented the power of Congress to make laws, which is unconstitutional. These agencies were never to be this powerful as to make and enforce laws. This is what makes the deep state a scary thing since it takes away what citizens can vote for and allows a shadow government control the law.
Then why does the left consider nat. gas a no no and trying to get rid of it? Clue me in boss.
Jack, Jack, Jack. You are right Nat. gas is cheaper and makes more sense, but you miss the point. Assuming, that H2 is produced by green sources, then it will be cleaner and better for the environment and is that not what everyone wants? All these companies supposedly have goals of being 100% carbon free in the near future. They cannot do that with Nat. Gas.
So, Jack what is the 'better solution"? Large battery packs using lithium? You know the destruction mining causes and pollution, right? Then it could be nuclear, but these plants take forever to build as we have seen in my home state and cost ratepayers billion when they end up costing 3-5X original projections. Sure, until something better and cheaper can arrive H2 storage maybe a good stopgap for many solutions. I have always felt with our growing need an all of the above solution and let the people choose. H2 needs government help just like Musk got billions in Government loans to see if his solution worked. I know billions are going into small reactors and maybe those will be another answer until we get the final solution in 20-30 years.
By the way Jack, I hope you considered covering when we bounced off the low. Don't go and get stupid and greedy like us longs that held on forever. Like they say there is room for bulls and bears, but hogs get slaughtered.
You did just see that a few of the BEV delivery vehicle went up in flames due to heat did you not? Also, Amazon has a goal of zero carbon and have H2 at their facilities plus I'm sure you just read they just establish quite a few stations in Europe, So, I could see a limited rollout in Europe happening and growing over time.
I thought Acciona was our partner? What are they doing using Cummins products and not ours? Seems their mistake.
Hopefully, never? WOW! I thought you were for green energy. Without 45V guidelines being designed to work with getting the fledging H2 industry off the ground we don't see any infrastructure being built any time soon. I doubt any of the HUBS get built either. The jobs will not get created either. Unless you think H2 has no value I cannot see why you would want this to fail unless you just want PLUG dead and buried and for the big boys like Air Products to take all the business.
The software, from what I hear, has a very short learning curve and almost shows immediate results to the bottom line.
I suspect we beat last quarter, but below last years as companies await 45v to make their final decisions and the industry, in the US at least is on a general pause on newer projects. Inventory should be down a bit as should expenses. Thing is will the decrease in expenses offset the reduced revenue from last year. I think it will with projects on hold, price increases, employee reduction, and the start of replacing more expensive purchased H2 with our own supplies. Now, if they are truly allowed and no playing fast with accounting rules the numbers may look much better with the $3/kg credit. This could supply a nice surprise and the curve to start changing towards becoming a profitable company. I do with and hope that they have adopted AI and Planatir software, so they do not fall behind Bloom and others in this area.
Well, not ZEV doing the conversions so it must be someone else or it is a totally new vehicle and not a conversion.
ZEV is pretty much bankrupt and selling all assets. That is very old news.
We are in a terrible trend. It is like the government wants to wipe out small companies with these high interest rates in favor of the very large companies to wipe out competition, slow it down or allow them to buy it out at pennies on the dollar.
Seems by the skills needed it will just be the filling stations inside the plants for forklifts. Does not look major, but I could be wrong.
Hope you are right, and the other provisions are also somewhat, at least, in our favor. I'm sure there will be some compromise. The thing that bothers me is Andy just said it would be after the election. So, this is kind of puzzling. Not sure what part or all of the $3 we bank or share. I know it will not be enough to cover our fuel cost deficit, but it will help the bottom line look better. I just worry if this was a desperation move to hide other sins. Are cost reductions not really happening like they said they would? Are the price increases to customers making sales and revenue go down despite the price increases? I guess we get a better idea in August. I'm hoping for the best, but Andy will have to rebuild his credibility, which, in my opinion, is near zero at this point as he has misled us for years.
