They need to get these MICROBES out there now before it is too late, but what do I know I am just a dumb citizen of the USA
I found the article at www.nytimes.com put MICROBES in search and read the article titled Companies Peddling Microbial cures to oil spill come calling.. page 2 towards last paragraph he states he feels confident about helping with the oil spill and he also states he has been to the Senate with his product..He also contradicts microbes but yet he then says these products can work in the Gulf..Dosent mean BUGS is not a better product and hasnt been recognized by someone just appears he seems to be closer to helping with the oil spill,I am long term also, you just never know how things will go..
Hope so..I guess I am just too into this.Got to walk away for awhile and regroup..
BUGS stock was $2 a share in 2000.What was going on at that time? Then by 2003 they were down way down..What was going on then. Its Possible they can do it again?
Hope so I would love to taste them but cant afford to buy a case..I am on the East Coast..Samplings at Health Food Stores would be GREAT..
I saw this a couple of weeks ago and they were sending some samples of crops to the lab for testing..Thats the last I heard..BUGS would be great for this issue
Not sweating it just being logical.I see it as a great thing.Even Mother Nature needs help once in a while.I am hanging in there for the long haul.
Have you sampled these products? What will they be selling for per container? How long before it hits the East Coast?
If there are that many other microbe products out there we dont stand a chance? There has to be a reason that this product sticks out more than the others..What could that be?
Could someone please repost the Link/Website that had all BUGS products, cost etc.I cant seem to find it..Maybe it was PFSD I saw..
What did they use to clean up the lake at that time? I believe Mother Nature took care of that for most part. You cant do this with the oil and dispersants or at least I hope they dont. The problem then I believe was sewer and the mixing of salt walter with the lake.Something to do with the shipyards.
Not sure..I do know they are not allowing any oil/sand into the landfills at this point it is being stored in containers.Could BUGS be used for this it is a good possibility.Spray or mix BUGS with sandy oils and let it do its work.I do feel that money has been wasted scooping up oil with shovels at this point. But it does look good to have the workers on the beach..Once the leak has stopped then the real cleanup can start.I just hope the Government/BP make the proper decisions for the environment.BUGS seems to be the proper choice but what do I know!!
This product would also be good for crops, soil etc.supposedly there are problems with crops from the acid rains due to oil spill already. Some samples of crops were sent to the lab and if this becomes a big issue..BUGS will be great for this..
No I saw the product line and everything seemed expensive around $100 or more just saw the cost and thought it was rather expensive, didnt go through every product..Sorry. Is there a cheaper product for cleaning the animals? To save the marshes would be well worth it.To high a price I believe to be sold in Home Depot etc..What do you think?
Hopefully.. but their products are expensive from what I saw on the website compared to Dawn for cleaning animals..To save the marshes is another story..
Mississippi not allowing oil soaked sand or oil of any form to be deposited into the landfills until they are sure it is safe to do so..That was nice to hear, tells me they are really concerned about the environment and will do what is BEST.....CNN NEWS
Seems like the end of the world and noone cares!!!
Lets hope they go with more than 1 company..being BUGS is out of California might not be a good thing either..Time will tell..
You tell em!!!This product could be the GULF's only hope..I just cant see what they are waiting on..UNBELIEVABLE all the roadblocks someone is putting up to keep from cleaning up this spill..INHUMAN
I agree the product should have been out there months ago..At best day one. especially being the process had been used before.Never said anything about the product.
I dont know just looks useless to me until the leak has stopped just double work and money,as far as the shores go.Getting it out of the water before it hits the shore is another issue.I wouldnt mop a floor if I knew someone was coming in to replace it..Would you? What a mess..
The BP workers are out there to make it look good like BP is trying,or cares. Without noone trying the Citizens would be in a uproar. When the oil hits the shore it is going to take more than alot of people and their shovels to clean it up.To me it looks useless to be on shore at this point until the leak is stopped anyway.IMOP
It is true I saw it and the name BUGS was mentioned but whos to say it actually pertains to the ticker BUGS..Can anyone use that name in reference to microbe eating organisms? They actually called them BUGS..Seems it would be illegal to use that name if it belongs to a company already...
The Company or Lab that was on Wolf Blitzer was from Sarasota Fl..The State listed on BUGS website is from California..Does this make a difference?
Good news
Mus have ..I dont know when u heard but I got info late this eve was out working...Bring em on
Did everyone get the Keith urban news?
Thanks
You seem to be very secure in this product..If it really gets going I think it will do well enough..Going to be awhile..
Thanks for all the weather reports
There is also none of these veggie dips in Raley Market..they have never heard of it...anyone got a phone number?
Its hard to believe that this company has been trying to get their product out for at least since 10/09 and they have a website but yet when you call, their products are not ready to be shipped out..can anyone explain why
BP hired 40 people to sort through ideas for the oil spill...250 of those ideas have made final assestment stage with BP..Good Luck You Guys
There are 40 people with BP going through ideas that have been sent into BP..250 of those ideas have made final assestment stage with BP..GOOD LUCK YOU GUYS
