Hotrod; I don't have a problem with Fujitsu, I don't have a big problem with a delay and my head is right where it is supposed to be. If we were in full production as stated and then F10 changed their minds then that's fine but why are we left to speculate that was the case. I just don't see how you go from full production to "on hold" without explaining what happened to the shareholders.
sdr; I have no doubt that F10 was responsible for the delay but that is not the issue here. It was FF who said we were in full production just a few months ago so my feeling is that it is edig's management that has to clarify the situation to the satisfaction of the shareholders. That's the least they can do IMO.
chwdr;
Although I probably don't meet your criteria, I will be contacting them in a day or two if this matter remains unresolved.
Sabre- I plan to wait a day or two to see if they shed more light on the subject. If they don't or won't then I'll be more than happy to let everyone know what I find out.
chwdrhed;
Although it pains me to say this, Cassandra has a point here. I've been hanging around for a long time with the belief that they (management)have not been able to deliver on their near-promises for reasons beyond their control. While the F10 issue may fall into that category, we deserve a clear and unambiguous explanation of why they are now not in full production as FF stated just a few months ago. There may be a legitimate reason why the project was put on hold but it seems none was given. I didn't listen to the webcast but if that was the case, then that is just plain unacceptable.
LOL! They have to be cannonized first don't they?-I wonder if it matters what type of cannon is used.
What about those that that forego school to interpret PR's for unsuspecting shareholders?
Finally- an objective, non-partisan interpretation of the PR's for those who can't read so good. LOL!
milplease; What were you doing in cowtown?
Orygun-Unless we get something more uplifiting than the last ones, they are better off keeping quiet as far as I'm concerned.
friendly fred; We do that becasue most of us dream of hitting a "home run" once in a while. The question now is; can edig hit a home run after so many strike outs. Ya never know since most home run hitters are notorious for striking out a lot. Not the best way to win a game but...
There's no such thing as........mOS.
CAL_LAW: Anyone else who wasn't familiar with the legal system and how to play the game, would still be in there.
You and many others have obviously made the assumption that these PR's tell us management has mislead investors...again. Although you may be right, it seems a bit pre-mature to pass that kind of judgement on them when the CES has just begun. Unless of course I've missed something?
To Everyone:
Merry X-Mas and best wishes for a happy and prosperous new year.
Blackdogs6;
Very sorry to hear about your loss. I lost my father about a year ago and was comforted by the fact that he was healthy to the end and went fairly quickly. I now know how the importance of spending as much time with them as possible and I'm glad you were able to do that. All the best to you.
To try and explain to the shareholders the reasons for it and to remind them of all the good things coming down the road? If it were very positive, a PR after the new year would seem to be more effective. I'm not saying it has to be bad-perhaps a mixture of some positive and some not-so-positive as I suggested.
acrazjo; I have to agree with you. As much as I hope I'm wrong, it seems to be a better time to announce some not-so-good news than good news purely from a logical perspective. The timing of this webcast is a little baffling because on the one hand, good news would make a nice X-mas present to the shareholders but would be somewhat wasted with the upcoming holiday season. On the other hand, announcing more negative news allows time for the shareholders to cool off and accept whatever that news is. A possible confirmation of the Gateway deal combined with details of another share offering might be a reasonable compromise IMO.
Amen to that; we never seem to have a shortage of those. Not that I'm complaining but....I get my name honestly.
Hope you're wrong-we don't need any more cracks.
Good job of editing but now my reply to Tenderloin makes about as much sense as his original post-none. LOL!
Tenderloin; "basher crud"? You gotta be kidding, right?
Trend; I wasn't criticizing your post as much as providing an opinion as to what it might take for us to realize a significant increase in the PPS. Sorry if it came across that way.
Trend; Unfortunatley it's quality that counts, not quantity. I think the best news we could hear is that we are, or are very close, to being revenue neutral. That, along with news of a significant, revenue bearing agreement with a recognizable OEM customer should peak the interest of investors and ultimately, the PPS. However the company has never been willing or able to provide any specific, tangible information that can be used to estimate future revenues and/or growth so I'm not counting on getting any now. I don't know, maybe its just the nature of the business but we always seem to be left guessing as to what kind of revenues if any, might be generated by these deals. I realize you can get burnt by making those predictions (as I'm sure RP attest) but the answer isn't to quit, its to be more accurate in your forecasting.
Niz-let's hope they are running in alphabetical order.
seediecal; Maybe that hard ceiling you're looking at is really the floor.
Will the real Skaagen please stand up? Cute.

Whose player did Dell re-brand? Surely they didn't manufacture it themselves. Sort of reminds me of this one:

Any other players out there with similar scroll-wheel navigation? Just wondering...
Blackdog; No explanation necessary because I've been around long enough myself and I agree with you. I recall someone posting how astute they thought edig was to place their booth near the toilets because there would be so much traffic there. I almost chit my pants. I ignore most of it anyway and try to focus on how best to recover my invesment. Thanks again.
philozarton-Sheesh, settle down. What are we gonna do with you when it really take off?
Blackdog6; Thanks for the objective report. I suppose some things are just a little less glamorous than we would like them to be. The good news is the pps is heading north.
CDR; You know I've had and still have concerns about management's poor track record in delivering the goods. I believe that is why RP has been keeping relatively quiet for so long. I'm not convinced he is entirely to blame for their dismal track record but no doubt he deserves his fair share of it. At her same time, that doesn't mean they cannot be successful. The last time I talked to him (RP) he actually sounded somewhat remorseful. I expressed concerns about their ability to stay in business and his reply was: " we've proven we can survive..now we have to prove we can be successful" which I thought summed it up pretty well. In any case, I'm kinda committed to hanging around as long as there is a glimmer of hope for recovering my investment.
CDR/Cliff; They can't afford not to have one. They recently hired a PR person which wouldn't make any sense at all if your assumption is correct.
I haven't heard anything about edig hiring a new CFO yet-anyone hear anything??
CDR; If and when you decide to jump back in is your business but inferring that edig might do what UAL, K-Mart and World Com have done is a different storey. Besides, who wouldn't love to see positive cash flows as sooooon as possible-other than those who don't own any shares. Good luck no-matter what you decide to do.
Cliff; I don't think those companies deserve the support of new investors but they'll get it, regardless. Not sure what that has to do with edig though-they probably had their opportunities to declare bankruptcy and start again but haven't so far.
I'd say the level of interest and excitement of what is posted on these boards is directly proportional to the PPS performance. Obviously they are both getting a little stale and need a shot of something...soon. I agree the business does sound interesting but it has been that way for a couple of years and until the PPS starts to reflect it, its the same old same old. IMHO.
He would probably jump off a Cliff.
Cassandra: What's your point? Are you trying to say that past failure guarantees future failure and past success guarantees future success? There is not a direct correlation and to make that assumption is wrong. I agree a certain amount of caution should be exercised but that would apply regardless of whether a company was a success or failure in the past, no?
talons: Let us know what you find out. TIA.
Hello?...
Was any conscensus ever reached on whether or not the PR position advertised was a new hire or a replacement?
