let the short squeeze play out?
like a pullback might happen
chart not looking a bit overbought?
yes! where do we go from here? retrace or run up to where?
how do you know? and how high will it get in the coming months?
short interest on 6/24: 60%
6/27: 40%
how is brexit affecting the steel market? Correct me if wrong, but revenues are mostly domestic and not international (i.e. europe).
revenue of X isn't coming much from EU or GB, right?
brexit going to play a part or hurt X?
lol, what did you guys talk about for an hour?
is he going to slap trump on the side of each steel bar as his solution? haha
didn't see this sell off coming today...
30s before year end you think?
lots of momentum.
how about now?
looking pretty bullish up to $14
think the bulls are back in town?
would think some side ways action. think q2 will have some good results?
looks like it might. you still think it will spring back to the 20s? looking very bearish..
maybe after q2 results... the ratings are assuming china supply, which seems like an overflated concern.
I think the teeth will come with the ITC complaint X filed. The big concerns are over X's market which is improving and their operating costs also improving.
looks like the decision came today, no?
Lol. By 10%. You do realize that's a 5% decrease from a temp. imposition? That's like whining about a nickel when you get a dollar back.
you mean the permanent ones? there's already the temp ones imposed.
nice short, looks like x is riding up quickly.
think we'll bounce there after axiom's rating?
still adding?
are you in?
When do you see it popping? News of cheap Chinese steel coming seems to have initiated the selling pressure...
http://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2016-05-12/u-s-steel-sinks-as-another-wave-of-cheap-imports-predicted
very red, looks like under $14
Barron's article out:
http://blogs.barrons.com/stockstowatchtoday/2016/05/12/u-s-steel-time-to-sell/
The premium of US to Chinese HRC has gone from $40/s.ton (which was below the historical average of a $100.8/s.ton premium for US product) to a whopping $231/s.ton today, which is over 2x the typical premium paid for US HRC vs. Chinese product… translation… A BOAT LOAD of imports are likely on the way…
$15.30, looks like we're heading to $14.
thoughts on the new tender or when will see a pop?
another red day
think its going to fall to $14 or lower?
has the music stopped?
wow, short interest yesterday was 45%, same time last week it was 36%
looks like the bears got us
thoughts on earnings? seems pretty lackluster.
I just cut and pasted the article
