Screenvision Creative Solutions Group Puts Holiday Tech Gift Guide Front And Center With moviegoers
http://mobile.reuters.com/article/idUSnPn8s93xr+80+PRN20141119?irpc=932
NEW YORK, Nov. 19, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- This holiday season, Screenvision's creative solutions group, 40 Foot Solutions, has enlisted tech expert Shelly Palmer from FOX Television's "Shelly Palmer Digital Living" to bring the best in holiday tech from RadioShack to moviegoers nationwide. In addition to the branded entertainment segment, RadioShack is running its holiday ad campaign enabled with audio-recognition technology from SoundHound, which allows moviegoers to connect with the brand for deeper engagement. The Screenvision in-cinema program is playing in theatres now and runs for eight weeks, hitting all major holiday shopping periods.
"As brands continue to look for ways to cut through the clutter around the holidays, cinema proves an immersive and effective environment to reach holiday shoppers," said John McCauley, EVP, CMO & Strategic Alliances, Screenvision. "In addition, 40 Foot Solutions provides creative and high-impact programs that augment the powerful attributes of cinema. In front of some highly anticipated films this holiday season, from 'Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1' to 'Interstellar' and 'Big Hero 6,' we are excited to put RadioShack's best of holiday tech front and center with millions of moviegoers."
40 Foot Solutions created the 60-second branded content segment for RadioShack, which includes some of the retailer's top holiday tech items, from remote control drones to interactive speaker walls. The cinema program with Screenvision also includes RadioShack's new ad spot. Moviegoers will be able to engage with the spot through SoundHound, unlocking $10 off their next purchase at the retailer. Other interactive elements include a store locator, gift guide and option to download the featured song by Weird Al Yankovic. This is the second SoundHound Program, following Levi's program executed in the summer.
Serving as the on-screen host, this is Shelly Palmer's second time working with 40 Foot Solutions to bring the best of technology to moviegoers. "Holidays are a time of year that consumers really look to upgrade and purchase new technology," said Palmer. "It can be overwhelming and I really enjoy being able to help moviegoers cut through the clutter by sharing some highlights on the big screen."
40 Foot Solutions, formed earlier this year, is focused on developing branded content, as well as graphics and animation packages that amplify a brand's impact and engagement with moviegoers in Screenvision's Front & Center preshow. Previous highlights include the following content segments and programs: Front & Center at CES with Shelly Palmer, Front and Center at E3 with Jessica Chobot featuring Dell Alienware, Lincoln MKC, truth® with Audience Entertainment interactive gaming technology, SoundHound and Cinema Advertising Council.
Ok by your logic, Apple will be doomed too.

Top 4 Stocks In The Electronics Stores Industry With The Highest EPS Growth Forecast For Next Year
by Monica Gerson
http://m.benzinga.com/article/4998382
Below are the top electronics stores stocks on the NYSE and the NASDAQ in terms of EPS growth forecast for the next year.
RadioShack (NYSE: RSH) earnings per share growth forecast for the next year is 27.00%. RadioShack's trailing-twelve-month revenue is $3.38 billion.
GameStop (NYSE: GME) EPS growth forecast for the next year is 18.58%. GameStop's trailing-twelve-month operating margin is 6.60%.
Conns (NASDAQ: CONN) earnings per share growth forecast for the next year is 15.22%. Conns PEG ratio is 0.65.
Best Buy Co (NYSE: BBY) EPS growth forecast for the next year is 12.99%. Best Buy's trailing-twelve-month EPS is $3.71.
It's how i would care for someone when they're looking for attention.
Without Salus capital willing to cooperate and close the other stores, we can expect the same old story, IMHO.
A few reasons I'm optimistic about this company because of the
-direction they're taking to right the ship.
-previous report by ceo stating sales picking up at concept stores and they're on the right track
-nostalgic reason and the thought of not wanting the potential workers being laid off
-ceo that lead Walgreen to profitability
-amount of money invested by deep pockets
-SG and Litespeed got their back
This company will not go gaput imho but at the moment it seems shareholders are getting the shaft because of the debt the company got itself into and the possibility of share dilution.
I can blame Farray or previous management but no point. All it takes now is to look forward and see what lies ahead.

Lol they're getting sued for not using Apple pay. What's next? get sued for selling drugs a dollar cheaper because the other companies won't charge a dollar less? Com'mon
Then you must've lost quite a bit
The $1.20 on October 29th was deliberate imho. At first I thought it was a glitch but it's not. If you average out the whole month RadioShack actually stayed above $1. Therefore, delisting is out.
Someone or mm is deliberately playing games to prevent any rally right now. Why? Who knows?
The longer the price stays in this range, the quicker call/put options decay maybe?
We need these next two months to rally and rally hard imho.
I'm disappointed in management right now as management chose the dilution path. But I do believe RadioShack will see $40 again with dividend. This is an investment for me now.
Gtla.
Again, this is my personal opinion. Do your own dd please.
Interesting. If I don't see any news this weekend, I will have to assume mm playing their games.
I would assume and imagine short interests doing their best to keep this company under a dollar to be delisted?
As manonbeach says, the next two months are going to be critical. Not only for the company wanting to recover but also to prevent itself from being delisted.

Mr. Wilson has quite a reputation!
RadioShack Brings on GM Bailout Veteran to Aid Turnaround--Update
2014-10-29, 2:27 PM
RadioShack Corp. has tapped a veteran of the crisis-era auto bailouts for advice on turning around its battered operations.
The struggling electronics chain said Wednesday it had hired Harry Wilson as "chief revitalization officer" to advise the company's board and managers as they work to bring shoppers back into its stores and repair its balance sheet.
Mr. Wilson stepped into public view during the financial crisis, when he emerged from retirement to join the Treasury Department's team overseeing the restructuring of General Motors Co. and Chrysler. He had retired the year before--at the age of 36--from a career in finance that included stints at Blackstone Group and Goldman Sachs.
RadioShack, running out of cash, cut a financing deal with several hedge funds in early October that staved off a bankruptcy filing by offering future control of the company to its rescuers. Hedge fund Standard General LP and others have stepped in as a lender on the company's credit line, easing its terms and providing cash for collateral to keep inventory flowing through the holidays.
If the chain is healthy enough in January, the hedge funds will convert some of their financing into equity.
Mr. Wilson's appointment comes after RadioShack named Holly Etlin, a managing director at turnaround consultant AlixPartners, to serve as its interim chief financial officer last month. Ms. Etlin will remain in her role, working through the financial and capital-structure issues facing the company, a person familiar with the matter said.
Mr. Wilson adds to a crowded field of lawyers and bankers tasked with fixing RadioShack, which had been running dangerously low on cash after 10 quarters of losses. Investment bank Peter J. Solomon Co. and law firm Jones Day are advising the company on its finances, while AlixPartners focused on business operations. RadioShack's board retained investment bank Lazard Ltd. for advice.
Mr. Wilson took the lead role in the Obama administration's restructuring of General Motors Co. amid the government bailout. Steve Rattner, the architect of Obama's auto industry rescue, credited Mr. Wilson with hatching the initial plan to give the U.S. majority control of GM in exchange for $50 billion to keep the company afloat amid the recession.
Mr. Wilson pressed GM to cut more of its failing brands, something the auto maker resisted for decades, and generally fought against the long-held practices of GM's entrenched corporate culture.
In 2010, the turnaround expert tried to build on his time in the public sector by running for New York state Comptroller, a position that oversees the state's finances. After winning the Republican primary, he narrowly lost to the incumbent.
A year later, Mr. Wilson founded Maeva Group LLC, an advisory firm focused on corporate and public sector restructurings. Maeva was retained by YRC Worldwide Inc. and Mr. Wilson became a board member in 2011 to help fix the transportation company's finances. There he led talks that brought in fresh equity, reduced corporate debt and lowered interest payments. Once the transactions were completed, he stepped down from the board.
He served for a period on the board of Yahoo, having joined along with hedge fund Third Point's leader, Daniel Loeb, and media consultant Michael Wolf, under a deal to end a proxy fight waged by Mr. Loeb. In May, he joined the board of Sotheby's also with Mr. Loeb, under a similar deal.
RadioShack executives are trying to figure out how to keep its 4,400-strong chain of brick-and-mortar stores competitive as electronics consumers increasingly shop at rivals and online. The company last year hired Chief Executive Joe Magnacca to reverse the chain's decline with a more aggressive store overhaul that has yet to yield results.
Agree. I'm surprise nobody in wall street or more sensible people see this.
Having said that, I do feel bad for the company as a whole. It's being eaten alive by these deep pockets while it's on it's way to recovery.
Well this is stupid
Here we go
