I would endure one final share structure increase, and average down again if MS could present a complete and viable game plan. I want a timeline, cost estimate, body count, and some assurance from the lenders that they will hold off foreclosure as long as the goals set forth in the business plan are met in a timely manner.
I want our shares to have some value, and I want the lenders to get back every dollar they are owed (interest and all). No one wins if this goes into BK; some people just lose less.
Here, have the rest of it (pipe delimited).

We all want to root for the underdog. Seeing a small start-up overcome adversity warms the cockles. I'm no Nationalist, but I want to support an American business that produces more than marketing slogans and advertising ideas.
Most of us here are probably too far in the red to entertain the thought of selling. It is much easier to sleep at night imagining the positives, than belaboring the negatives. That is not to say I want to remain blissfully ignorant. I want to know when and what hurdles are in our way. I like to think that most problems can be overcome. Some people seem to think that every problem is a game ender; I like to think of them as character building challenges. The fact that we've had so many hiccups, but continue to limp along leads me to believe that CPRK follows a similar philosophy.
We have created a community here on iHub that I would have to say is one of the best on any stock forum. Quite frankly, I'm addicted to reading this board.
Finally, you have to look at this logically. We've proven that we can produce salable concentrate (even before the upgrades). The government did not force a shutdown. The magnetite alone can pay for operational costs. We know that too much copper is being lost in the tailings. In the name of efficiency, and to avoid possible future government intervention, they took the mill down. If we were in as dire straights as some would have you believe, then the mill would be up and running. There isn't a business man in the world who would go bankrupt instead of making less profit. They're trying to do this right, and I respect that. I will have patience, and let it all come together. I'll worry about the worst when it actually happens. As for now, I just recognize it as a possibility.

Pardon me if I don't believe ShortSqueeze's short interest number when they have the O/S listed as 2.36% of the actual value (they show 138,094,042, actual O/S is 5,839,173,422). The O/S is only a phone call away. The total short interest is much more complex to track.

There has been a pending lawsuit for quite some time. From most of what I've read, it looks like a tactic to negotiate a better royalty rate from CPRK. I am definitely not a good source of information for this question.
She owns some of the land that CPRK is leasing mineral rights to, and Nevada Star is claiming ownership of. Her attorney probably wants her to avoid the appearance of any impropriety, although unlikely, by posting on this board. Better safe, you know?
Your presence will be sorely missed, Candy.
I've been getting slammed at work lately, so thanks for picking up the slack. I am still tracking the numbers, just haven't had time to post. The O's season home opener will be preventing me from posting tomorrow.
Richard, are you slowly coming out of the CEO brother-in-law's closet? =)
While I think what you say is completely possible, I try not to read into it too much. I'm in this long, and don't sweat the day-to-day. Read just a few posts from anyone and you should be able to determine their credibility, but not necessarily their motive.

We will never have an accurate picture of outstanding short interest; we can only track day-to-day. I'm sure that many of them cover the same day; maybe even several times per day. We can be sure that any daily short interest over 50% means that all borrowed shares are not covered for that day. I highly doubt there are billions of shares currently shorted; ~100 million sounds more realistic, but I cannot say with any certainty.

We can all read the iBox info--there is no reason to constantly rehash the share structure changes. If you have credible information pointing toward a new increase, then please post it. History can be used to speculate on future events, but not predict them. We should have a revenue stream shortly, and we have an entity lending us money short term (possibly long). Although I won't disagree with you that an increase is possible, I will say that it seems less likely now than it has in the past.

There are stocks under a dollar on NASDAQ, but they cannot remain that way. Eventually they will receive notice that they must maintain a dollar or more for 10 straight trading days by X date, or be delisted. Most companies that cannot meet this requirement will perform a reverse split. This is one of the cases where a R/S can be considered neutral.
You can't sell dilution, and CPRK can't sell shares into the open market.
How can I learn who the true shorts are if all short interest is CPRK selling directly into the open market? There is something illogical about your statement--PERHAPS ADDING SOME COLOR AND AN UNDERLINE WOULD CLARIFY THINGS!
Short Interest:

I just had a quick chat with CAM about the PR, and he says "I am still hopeful for today..." It is currently still held up in legal.
I actually posted this same [conspiracy] theory about a month ago, but the long term financiers were the ones doing the shorting as a condition of the financing. The company helped in the form of a blackout. I don't really think they're capable of doing it, but it is fun to entertain the thought.
