You keep shouting the same tired 3 things BUT the testing continues doesn't it? FACTS MATTER!
Hi Trevor,
The plan is for the app to be used by corporates as a stand alone however we can feed validation data into any system via an API. Our Govt has also spent big budgets on our Covid Safe tracking technology and we see our system as being offered to compliment any existing platforms but certainly not replace them.
Regards,
Alan.

Hey you forgot this one! Pivot..bingo!
https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2020/nov/21/liverpool-mass-testing-finds-hundreds-with-covid-19-but-no-symptoms
Yeah, that’s a left-wing rag. Supports liberal ideologies, denounces traditional and conservative thinking. Hides stories that don’t support its worldview, promotes stories that do. If you’re looking for fair and objective reporting, I’d avoid The Guardian.
EDIT: A year and a half later and they’ve gotten even worse. Here’s a recent article in the NEWS section they wrote about Trump tweeting out a clip from Avengers: Endgame with his head photoshopped on top of Thanos’: . A few excerpts:
“Donald Trump is a genocidal warlord hell bent on destroying half of existence in the universe. That’s not a criticism from the unhinged leftwing media, it’s apparently how the president and his team see him.”
“….these low-effort trolling operations from Trump’s social media team tend not to be heavy on consistency or logic.”
Again, this is in the US news section. Not the opinion section. The fair, objective, non-partisan, hard news section. This is their plea for cash in the footer of every article:
“This year, much of what we hold dear has been threatened – democracy, civility, truth…Truth is being chased away…This US administration is establishing new norms of behaviour. Anger and cruelty disfigure public discourse and lying is commonplace..It will be defining year and we’re asking for your help as we prepare for 2020.”
The Guardian also goes on to sob about “rampant disinformation, partisan news sources(!) and social media's tsunami of fake news.” This website is an absolute disgrace, and I worry for those who believe that they are reading a real news site from real journalists. They are openly asking their readers to vote for their desired candidates in a foreign election, to help them (The Guardian) prepare for 2020. They are openly admitting that they are preparing to launch a propaganda campaign in order to elect a Democrat into the presidency. Disgusting.
As you may see from some of the comments below, a very common rebuttal to these facts is “Oh but it’s okay because I agree with The Guardian staff! Trump IS a very mean man, and he must be described accordingly!” What these people are describing is not journalism - it is activism, a completely different field. The Guardian’s employees are left-wing activists, not journalists. I would have loved to have been in the “newsroom” this week, watching these people mope around and try to contain their tears as they recover from their beloved Labour Party get pounded into the ground as BoJo and the Conservatives enjoy a historic election victory. Brexit is now imminent, and there’s not a thing The Guardian or any of their Labour mates can do about it except watch helplessly.

INNOVATIONS FOR GLOBAL BENEFIT
QDX™ HealthID, Inc. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Quantum Materials Corp (QMC). Stephen B. Squires, CEO, says, "This ecosystem offers a comprehensive set of COVID-19 testing options that can address the health safety needs of a myriad of industries and testing environments.”
Using QMC proprietary blockchain technology, an individual’s health information remains private while instant data transmission and authentication to health officials help prevent the virus spread. The smartphone app (Android and iPhone devices) can identify people who have tested negative and aid in safely reopening communities. This always-on service provides end-to-end visibility to support testing and immunization for infectious diseases on a global scale.
Besides tracking the antigen rapid diagnostic test, QDX™ HealthID signed a distribution agreement with Innova Medical Group Inc. for molecular and antibody tests, as well as PCR swab tests to be included in its COVID-19 Ecosystem. Any person registered on the QDX™ HealthID platform can use an IMG-supplied test kit prescribed by a healthcare provider.
Another feature of the COVID-19 Ecosystem is analytical modeling. COVIDlytics™ can quantify the risk on a country-by-country or state-by-state level. By automatically recording testing on an individual basis, a risk profile showing the prevalence of disease can assess local infection rates so as not to overwhelm health resources.

?
The Innova QDX™ Health ID Smartphone App can track and report test results privately with its encrypted blockchain security. HIPAA compliant, this easy-to-use app allows a person’s health status to be authenticated without sharing privacy data.
Under its open system of Certifying Authorities (CA), the Innova QDX™ Health ID App and Platform supports multiple diagnostic tests and unique partner protocols. This provides the flexibility for organizations to set different rules and clearances for screening an IMG “health passport.” As many governments, such as the United Kingdom’s National Health Service, may have their own tracking app, the IMG architecture will adapt to different protocols. A private entity can develop a unique platform.

?
These factors, combined with digitally-based contact tracing, can contain the spread of the SARS-CoV-2 virus
?
With COVID-19 global outbreaks expected during the fall and winter, Innova Medical Group understands that until a vaccine is available, widespread testing and tracing can flatten the curve and help avoid economic shutdowns. Global researchers believe actual cases could be ten times higher than reported cases. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) reports that up to 40 percent of infected people are asymptomatic. This bleak outlook is combined with a lack of clarity on how this season’s flu respiratory virus could interact and have overlapping symptoms with COVID-19.
?
Most people will not self-quarantine until COVID-19 symptoms become severe. This testing lag can lead to rapid spread as the most infectious period for this highly contagious virus is two days before and after symptoms. Mass testing at point-of-care, such as walk-in, drive-through, and mobile testing facilities, can provide early detection and contain outbreaks. The low cost, safe INNOVA Rapid SARS-CoV-2 Antigen Test can screen asymptomatic individuals with 98.98% accuracy. The IMG test, which incorporates an advanced, nitrocellulose membrane, makes it one of the most advanced in the world. In vitro diagnostic (IVD), nasal, throat, and cheek swabs, are safely gathered and combined with a testing reagent. In as little as 20 minutes, a negative result provides peace of mind, while a positive result ensures one can quarantine and not spread the disease at school or a workplace.
?
With its encrypted blockchain security, the QDX HealthID™ Smartphone App tracks and reports test results privately. The app (available on iPhone and Android devices) collects a person’s name, email address, phone number, zip code, and test results. This easy-to-use digital “health passport” lets people share information only to those who need to know. A user’s authenticated status will be displayed with a green, yellow, or red badge. Its cloud-based technology, Auth0 integration, and capture of QR codes complies with HIPAA and HL7 requirements. The QDX HealthID™ Smartphone App will never share privacy data.
Not only can COVIDLytics™’ customizable set of rules quantify risk on an individual basis, but also the risk to a specific environment. Community profiles can be generated to let local, state, and country government officials better target interventions. Its real-time data and predictive analytics will impart improved public health decisions and outcomes.
Misinformation has real-world consequences. Already, many communities face crowded hospitals and cost pressures. The mass amounts of data, collected through widespread testing, can be shared for research purposes and better case tracking of potential disease outbreaks.
COVIDLytics™’ open architecture adapts to different protocols so its data can be combined with data already collected in any existing testing environment. This speeds the integration of testing and tracing data systems and reduces the burden to research teams when proprietary software will not replicate in other environments. The use of COVIDLytics™ can identify high-risk groups, then alert hospitals, nursing homes, and schools to redirect their limited supply chain resources. Data-driven protocols will highlight whom to test and with what frequency. These factors, combined with digitally-based contact tracing, can contain the spread of the SARS-CoV-2 virus.

Across the globe, desire is building to open-up; get people back to work, play and living again.
Yet, after more than six months, battling the Coronavirus pandemic; the options seem limited. The “new normal,” consists of handwashing, social distancing, lockdowns of varying severity, digitally mediated gatherings or “zooming,” and of course; hoping for a vaccine. But what about simply living? The human spirit? The need to be social? The feeling that we are never more alive than when we are interacting with one another?
So how do we improvise, adapt, and liberate? Bubbles!
Not soap bubbles of course. Think; ‘virtual bubbles’ that are formed with a combination of technology and attention to human care, human safety and human collaboration. It’s a concept around how we get people to come together; to move from one place to another without fear, uncertainty, potential contagion and a host of other constraints.
We call them 3P Safe Bubbles – a rethinking of people, places and products. With a combination of your smart phone, the collaboration of your favorite venues, and the selective avoidance of places and spaces that may not be safe, it is possible to navigate life again. Let’s be clear, this does not involve tracking or tracing or being forced to share your personal private information.
Think of 3P Safe Bubbles as a remedy for isolation, a way to create healthy environments; giving people (recently tested for C19): access, lanes of travel and interaction with other people (recently tested). Thus creating a safe environment that extends space while simultaneously providing a cure for ‘stir-crazy’. Increase the size and scope of the bubbles, and you increase the ability to interact safely with a multitude of others inside the safe zone.
What if there was a way for people to protect their privacy, sharing only what they choose, to enable the creation of such safe environments?
A recent Korn Ferry article proclaims: “The number one thing retailers need right now is a safe environment for employees and customers.” Now expand that thought. The number one thing People need right now is a safe environment for Everyone.
How 3P Safe Bubbles works: (1) People, (2) Places & (3) Products
For the (1) People element, we need a ‘key’ (some might call it an ID or passport) to the 3P Safe Bubble. Let’s use the term; ‘HealthID’. A real HealthID carried everywhere you take your smartphone. A HealthID confirming recent testing, via an authenticated process, backed by the most secure distributed ledger technology ever created (Blockchain). Let’s add that you can share this authentication with whomever you chose, in any situation, right here and now…OR NOT, (it’s your choice.) Does anybody have an App like that?
Yes, QDXTM HealthID has developed an app and platform that orchestrates testing, authenticates health status and records the process in state-of-the-art Blockchain.
What’s an example of a Safe Bubble for People? Picture an airport and an XpressCheckTM type program for pilots, employees and passengers. Enhance this picture to a full service COVID-19 screening and testing area. Add a HealthID, and you’ve created a Safe Bubble from the airport to everywhere (hotel, office, event), the passenger wants or needs to go. No more quarantines, no more testing at each stop, just liberating mobility and getting back to - work, play and living.
Why 3Ps? Testing alone is part of the solution for keeping the Bubbles virus-free. Tests measure at a particular moment in time. Employees, suppliers, customers can unknowingly carry the virus without symptoms. People can become infected post-test at any time. It’s why People (and testing) are only one component of the 3P Safe Bubble process.
For (2) Safe Bubbles aren’t just filled with people, they involve Places as well.
Places don’t need to just ‘be safe’, they also have to ‘feel safe’. Having People with authenticated Health ID is the ‘be safe’ part. For the ‘feel safe’, there is expertise from organizations like: JobSiteCheck; improving safety and compliance with check-in screening and management platforms. Their offerings create ‘peace-of-mind’ with seamless check-ins to jobsite, schools, etc. Their smartphone-based offering reduces the physical interaction between workers, customers and staff; helping keep everyone healthy and ‘feeling safe’.
A host of organizations, running the gamete from retailers (like Kroger), to restaurants (like the legendary Pub in Ireland: The Dropping Well), to schools (like Orange County Virtual) and everything in between; are engaging with their employees, students, suppliers, customers; to create healthy havens. Linking these healthy havens accelerates creation of Safe Bubbles and the movement towards being safe and feeling safe.
Products are the 3rd component of the 3Ps’ Safe Bubbles concept. People tend to dismiss offerings tied to current events. In this case however, products (everything from wearable tech to PPE to cleaning/ disinfection solutions) will have real impact. Especially when combined with processes such as HACCP . One example is Bridge Point Clean, leveraging ‘nano-encapsulation technology for sanitation and long- term bacteriostatic effectiveness’. Another example is Georgia-Pacific’s Hygiene Ready; a multifaceted online toolkit designed to help restaurants, retailers, arenas and event venues stay safer. Again, Products (wearable tech), PPE and cleaning/disinfecting solutions) are a pivotal component for safe bubbles.
Summary
The need is clear, the technologies are live, the tests and processes are available. ‘Safe Bubbles’ as a concept is evolving into a movement that joins the foundational approach of Covid19 testing to an ecosystem of People, Places and Products. One that leverages Healthcare process and an authentication ID system, to open healthy havens and return people to work, play and living.
The movement starts with People and our desire (really the need) to interact, be social, and help each other. With each person doing their part (awareness, testing & HealthID) to build, expand and enjoy Safe Bubbles.

Other technologies such as QDX(™) HealthID is a smartphone app that keeps track of test results and allows healthcare providers to ensure the authenticity of test kits. For any organization that plans on implementing a regular system of COVID testing and screening, this will become a “must have” app to hand out to its employees.
I agree on all points. Sadly looks like another Freschfield. I wasn't trumpeting it like it was anything of merit and if this is who QMC is working with I'll be extremely disappointed once again. Trying to stay positive, 10 years of waiting is to say the least wearing thin.
https://www.triedandtested.tech/
QMC health ID scroll down the page
Optionally, we can provide a range of track and trace technologies, which combine with an app based health ID passport.
Tracking may not be enforceable but can you envision any arena event, concert or sporting allowing spectators side by side without screening in place? You can also add flying, cruises, Disneyland.
Resorts and hotels, can they open and guarantee a safe environment?
The list goes on and on.
Even if we miraculously get through this the future will undoubtedly bring another possibly far deadler virus that will require some form of well implemented tracking of test kit reliability and individuals infected.
It sounds Orwellian but looks like what we are faced with to hopefully return to some form of normal existence.
QMC may well have a solution at hand.
Lets see how long they last when you cant come back to work or enter a store without clearance.
Maybe you don't realize it but carry a cell phone and you are already tracked 24/7
They know where you've been who with, how much you exercise etc etc etc..
If you honestly think society will be able to go back to concerts, attending sports, flying in planes without some screening you are sadly mistaken.
Did I state that I have blind faith in QMC to find a solution? or that they should implement a solution in haste?
If QMC can contribute even on the side of test kit tracking to determine which are proving reliable it offers us all a chance to return to some form of normalcy.

China's color-based QR codes
The United Kingdom is not alone in grappling with the idea of how safely to end its population's confinement and get people back to work.
China, which is cautiously beginning to open back up after weeks of restrictions, is using smart phone technology to try to prevent a resurgence of the coronavirus.
Residents of Hubei province, except for the city of Wuhan, were told last month that they would be allowed to leave the province if they have a green QR code on their mobile phones.
Asia may have been right about coronavirus and face masks, and the rest of the world is coming around
Asia may have been right about coronavirus and face masks, and the rest of the world is coming around
Hubei had previously ordered all its residents to obtain the color-based QR code -- which comes in red, yellow and green -- and acts as an indicator of people's health status.
The colors are assigned according to the provincial epidemic control database: people who have been diagnosed as confirmed, suspected or asymptomatic cases, or people with a fever will receive the red color code; their close contacts will receive the yellow code; and people without any record in the database will get the green code -- meaning they're healthy and safe to travel.
On April 8, the easing of restrictions will be extended to Wuhan, where the coronavirus first emerged in December, and residents with a green QR code will be able to leave the city and the province for the first time in more than two months.
Option #2 do nothing. Stay home for the next year and see the economy, and the populations general physical and mental health deteriorate to a point of no return.
Pretty disgusting that you'd rather see QMC fail trying to find a solution than succeed and get the world back to some state of normalcy.
Prof Rory O’Connor, from the University of Glasgow, a co-author of the study, said that while it is too early to say for certain what the mental health impact of Covid-19 will be, there are lessons to learn from the past.
“If we look at the Sars outbreak in 2003, we know there is evidence there that there were increased rates of anxiety, increased rates of depression and post-traumatic stress and, in some groups, there were also increased rates of suicide,” he said.

K&L Gates Loses Appeal in $300M Nanotech Malpractice Suit
By Andrew Strickler
Law360 (March 20, 2020, 7:09 PM EDT) -- A "rational mind" could look at a set of uncontested facts in a suit filed by nanotechnology company Quantum Materials Corp. and infer that K&L Gates LLP used the company's information against it when it sued Quantum, a onetime firm client, on behalf of lenders, a Texas appeals court said Friday.
Backing Quantum in the firm's bid to fight a denied dismissal, a three-judge Court of Appeals panel said the company made a prima facie case that K&L Gates violated its fiduciary duty to Quantum and engaged in a conflict of interest.
The panel also sided with Quantum on whether K&L Gates' alleged misconduct was "unconscionable" under the state Deceptive Trade Practices Act, allowing that claim to continue as well.
The court rejected K&L Gates' argument that it was protected by attorney immunity, a doctrine that deals with third-party claims of negligent representation of clients. That defense can't "shield an attorney from liability arising from misconduct toward his or her own client," the opinion said.
"K&L Gates has identified no authority holding otherwise, and we are aware of none," the court said.
Quantum, a "nanomaterial" manufacturer of components used in digital displays, filed the $100 million lawsuit against K&L Gates LLP two years ago. The suit accuses the firm of a blatant conflict in simultaneous representations of Quantum and a pair of lenders with it had a payment dispute with.
According to the suit, Quantum hired K&L Gates in 2016 for "non-adverse" corporate advice, which included helping the company go public and the drafting lending agreements with two investor entities. The engagement letter included an advance conflict waiver allowing K&L Gates to represent adverse parties in matters not substantially related to the corporate work, which included attendance by a K&L Gates attorney at Quantum board meetings.
In 2017, a dispute arose between Quantum and the lenders over payment issues, during which the lenders demanded equity in the corporation rather than cash.
Quantum ultimately sued a transfer agent involved in the dispute. During that case, K&L Gates lawyers filed an intervention petition on behalf of the lenders alleging Quantum Materials had breached its contracts with the lenders.
That spurred a Quantum Materials bid to disqualify the firm and accusations that the firm had used Quantum's confidential information to benefit the lenders and itself. K&L Gates maintained that the advance waiver applied and that the matters were not substantially related.
In 2018, after K&L Gates sent Quantum a request for $300,000 in allegedly unpaid fees, the company sued the firm for malpractice, breach of fiduciary duty and DTPA violations. A Dallas trial court turned away the firm's dismissal motion, teeing up the current interlocutory appeal.
In its Friday decision, the appeals court noted that K&L Gates didn't deny representing Quantum for the better part of a year and prepared the company's "go public" S-1 filing.
"It is reasonable to infer that over the course of preparing that document, K&L Gates would have become familiar with Quantum Materials's financial outlook. It is undisputed that the lenders, after initially accepting cash payments toward the loan obligation, later began insisting on equity as reimbursement," the panel said. "And it is equally uncontroverted that at some point K&L Gates began assisting the lenders to that end, ultimately suing Quantum Materials in an effort to obtain that equity."
Quantum Materials counsel Michael Minns of Minns & Arnett told Law360 it made no sense that the lenders wanted company equity unless they received information from K&L Gates about why the stake in Quantum would be more valuable than the cash.
"The court of appeals found the claims have merit based just on the petitions and facts undenied" by K&L Gates, he said. He also dismissed the firm's position regarding the waiver.
An advance waiver "cannot say you can just sue your own client representing other parties, known or unknown, at any point in the future," he said. "You just can't do that."
Counsel for K&L Gates did not respond to a request for comment Friday. A firm spokesperson declined to comment.
The decision sends the case back to the trial court.
Justices Jeff Rose, Gisela D. Triana and Edward Smith sat on the panel for the Third District.
