BB glad to have you back in the boat and rowing with the rest of us. I think a lot of use will be pleasantly surprised with $CAGR in 2012.
I am long and Strong and Strong.
How to spread the word?
Here is one way. Tweet it.
Each time you post a message include $CAGR in the first 140 characters. "$" in Twitter represents that the characters after is a stock ticker.
You can then tweet this post using iHub Tweet function which is there in all posts when reading them. There are 1000s of investors using Twitter as a source. The more we Tweet about it the more Buzz it will get. Don't hesitate to Tweet other posters posts.
Wine in China is a winner that is why I think $CAGR will be a winner as well.
Well Said RBR
Some think $CAGR is in a 1 round fight and were out for the count. Not so at all. They are in a 12 round fight. There were in the first and got hit below the belt. They went to the corner regrouped and now started round 2. They came of of the corner swinging lefts and rights.
Hey Phil. Did you hear that? I know at times there is some noise here but it's loud and clear. I am hearing all the pieces falling into place.
CAGR Long and strong.
It depends on the type of glasses you are looking through. Obviously we are not wearing the same kinds. My glasses are telling me that good things come to those who wait.
Patience, it is a virtue.
You always call for proof.
Please show me proof that they won't. Show me the e-mail that Jeff and/or Frank sent to you telling you they won't or better yet provide me a tape recording where Frank or Jeff told you they will not. If you do not have proof then, preface you statements with "I believe ..." or "I think ...." because what you are stating is not fact.
You saying "But they won't" is nothing more than an opinion and speculation, because you do not have any proof to back it up.
*****************************
Could someone please post these bad financials?
Only the company can post their bad financials.
But they won't.
Phil, You have done a tremendous job here getting the word out and defending this opportunity. Thanks for doing what you do. I know it's not easy. I am very Long and Strong with CAGR.
They sure will. It may have been a GTC order set yesterday and they are not monitoring.
CAGR ticker change request has been submitted.
Alyssa, I too am very happy Frank is still with GDHID. This man has accomplished a lot in a very short time. The experience and knowledge he has attained in the few years he has been in China is worth a lot.
Partnering with Jeff and the rest of Cali Grapes is one of those things that happens and you say to yourself this is all falling into place quite nicely. I am sure the course that Frank mapped out some 3 years ago has many detours on it but the destination (a profitable company) is still the same.
Good things happen to those who wait. I am here for the long haul. A huge supporter of Frank and Co. in this venture.
I think Frank learn a very hard but valuable lesson about selling consumer goods in China. From this hard lesson the business model has changed in addition to the product line. I think the combination of these two things is going to prove very successful for CAGR.
So true!
We haven't seen anything yet! You made the point in a previous post (Thanks to Frank and GDHI). I think the value of what Frank has been able to accomplish in his few years is so under valued and I believe it's a large part of why this company has as massive amount of potential.
I am long and strong with GDHI.
If you have been 100% correct with all your predictions then I can only think of one reason why that could happen.
You are privy to information that the public is not.
No, Pantherj. Certificates must be sent in.
"...the Brokers do NOT send their old certs to the TA..."
Some who are in trouble would love for it to be the way you have stated.
From the company's PR.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: This is a mandatory share exchange and the certificate(s) in your possession or shares held at your broker dealer MUST be exchanged no later than December 31st, 2011. No new certificate(s) will be issued to a shareholder until the shareholder has surrendered the old stock certificate(s).
Surrendering the old stock certificates means turning then in.
Good try. Call it what you may. Cha Ching
I do the same but when DD is from private conversations it's tough to defend if challenged so I do not post.
Do your own DD an make your own decision. I have done my own DD and know the answer to the question you have asked.
What does Mario Andretti and CGI have in common?
WINE!!!!
Frank and company have been slowly and methodically been doing some heavy lifting while distracting chatter has been going on on this board. Folks I think the sleeping giant is going to awake soon and we will begin to see the fruits of there hard labour.
Take a look at this and you will see what I am talking about.

I'll take you at your word that you were not disappointed but you were wrong in your previous post claiming that it was insiders.
You are always quick to point out how well you predict things. You should also be quick to point out when you were wrong.
I have the feeling you will be writing more notes to other investors congratulating them on making profits. Just hang on for a while. The ride has not even begun as yet.
Cha Ching ($$$$s)
They can run but they can not hide.
I hope those who betted against this company and made money selling short did not spend it all in one place. I hope they saved some of it because you will have to get it back. The time is drawing near. CGI is moving on up.
Chinese wine consumption doubled in 5 years
This is looks very positive for CGI
08.03.2011 - Vinexpo news selection
Total Chinese wine consumption reached 96.33 million 9-litre cases, equivalent to 1.156 billion bottles, in 2009, an increase of 104% compared to 2005.
Legal age per capita wine consumption in China is still only 1 litre per year. “When this level of consumption per inhabitant is compared with the per capita rates of the other top 10 large consumer countries, the extraordinary potential of the Chinese market becomes clear”, Robert Beynat, the Chief Executive of Vinexpo, has pointed out.
Between 2010 and 2014, the VINEXPO study expects Chinese wine consumption to grow by a further 19.6%, reaching 127 million 9-litre cases by the end of the period. At that point, China will be the 6th largest wine consuming country in the world. (VINEXPO - The iwsr / 21 February 2011)

Shares can not be traded until ....
Here is the process.
1)FINRA Approves action and informs the company
2)Company informs Transfer agent.
3)FINRA informs financial institutions (Brokers) holding shares
4)Transfer Agent contacts share holder that purchased shares directly from the company so they can begin the exchange process. Transfer agents know nothing about shareholders holding shares through a broker. That's why current number of shareholders is now only 286. Shareholders will have to mail in certificates.
5)Brokers Change symbol to GDHIXX where XX is some other alpha numeric value to indicate some corporate action is pending.
6 Brokers send information to transfer agent about the total number of shares they are holding.
7 Transfer agent sends new shares to broker.
8) Broker deposit new shares in individual investors' account with new symbol
9) Shares are ready to be traded.
So, if symbols have some new XX in the name you know your broker has been informed. The next question is have they sent number of share information to transfer agent.
Steps 6&7 dictates how long this will take.
I hope this helps.
Holding long and strong

Patience, Patience, Patience
With GDHI, looks can be deceiving. Some may think games are being played but with proper DD you would know better.
GLTA Longs
Rusty, Here is the big question.
Of the firms that do not use Penson to clear, which will trade Non DTC-eligible? I tried to transfer to IB but they rejected it b/c GDHI is not an acceptable stock.
Brokerages that don't use Penson (check and report back)
- Fidelity- accepting shares if you transfer whole account!
- TD Ameritrade
- E-Trade- can buy/sell MMTE, but cannot transfer in OTCs
- Interactive brokers
- Merrill Lynch
- Schwab
- Sharebuilder
- Vanguard
- WellsTrade
- USAA

This mod for GDHI will not be leaving anytime soon. I have done my due diligence. I am comfortable with what I have invested and what I believe the future holds.
Speak for yourself. I fully understood it and it's up to me to believe it or not believe it. Sorry if you did not get it.
Unfortunately CGI the company does not control when these Corporate Actions are approved.

Thanks. I have already done that.
I hope other longs heed your advice so we can enjoy a very powerful run.
The future is looking very good.
From their Facebook page.
China continues to represent a significant opportunity for California wines as interest in our wines continues to spread out from the major hubs of Shanghai, Beijing and Guangzhou," commented Eric Pope, Wine Institute's Regional Director, Emerging Markets. -> http://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/california-boosts-2010-us-wine-exports-to-record-year-116650679.html
Phil,
In re: DH's response to your message "Apparently the shorts are not very impressed with the merger! Considering they haven't been wrong yet I'm not sure I would bet against them. "
He did not refute your statement but actually confirmed very loudly that shorts have been shorting for some time.
All I have to say is Tick Tock, Tick Tock.
RE: the financials make it evident that they are winding down operations.
You state it as a fact that operations are winding down which you have no proof. I will agree with you that they are reducing their inventory but I do not believe it's because they are closing operations. On the contrary. I see it differently and will post it as an opinion. I believe the current low end snack and beverage market that CFSC is currently in is a very tough market. I think it Frank came to that realization early this year. I see this reduction as a way of them getting out of this market and going into the market of selling only wines. I could say it's a fact like others b/c of the information about the merger with CGI but without facts this is an opinion.
Phil Fully agree with your statement.
Here is how I see it with GDHI. Frank may not have made all the right decision all the time but there is not one business leader who can say in retrospect all their decisions were 100% correct. I have done my own DD and this man and company are the real deal.
Here is my advice to some:
If you play with fire you will get burned
Let sleeping dogs lie
Patience is a virtue
My version : As the end of the quarter draws ever closer, expect the level of shreiking about Frank and the "pitfalls" of this company to increase dramatically. As their will be all out attempts to persuade people to sell their shares so that others can close out their short position more easily. JMHO.
Why did you not publish the volume traded at each level? Would not support you message?
I guess it was the calm before the storm.
Is this the calm before the storm? GDHI has been percolating for a while now.
